Look, I had to change a lot about this episode. There's no English dub plus it doesn't fit with its English counterpart the guns were unnecessary and don't fit the story. please understand why I had to make changes,especially to accommodate all the trainers in the current party anyway enough talking let's get started folks! Narrator:So far, Gang's trip through the Safari Land has been less than fruitful. Sure, they had had lots of adventures, but the Safari Zone had been known for one thing: its wide variety of rare Pokémon that was a staple for any Pokémon Trainer. But so far, every area they had stumbled across was a Pokémon reservation made to protect the rare Pokémon – as such, capturing them wasn't allowed. But with the Pokémon Ranger Jenny's help and guidance, they were quickly approaching the actual Safari Zone, and Ash was beyond elated, especially when they started to see the large gatehouse that was the entrance to the area that Jenny had described.
Ash:We have finally arrived; we've finally... arrived![Ash sang happily, marching to a song that was only playing in his head, much to the chagrin of Brock, Green and Lexus who seemed to be annoyed to the point of exhaustion.]
Ash:Here's the Safari Zone; I'm happy but sort of embarrassed; here's the Safari Zone! I'm gonna go all out getting tons of Pokémon! Yeah yeah yeeaaaahhhh!
[The pair stopped in front of it, and Ash felt as though the smile on his face couldn't fade at all] Ash:We're finally at the Safari Zone! Let's get some Pokémon... yeaaah! [he said, still in a singing voice but not as much as the song he had been singing earlier]
Brock:Please do something about that 'talking through singing' thing.. [Brock sighed with exasperation, but Ash ignored him and simply raised his hands higher as he sang]. Green:Ash enough is enough seriously stop it already!
Ash:This is a Pokémon smörgåsbord! [he argued happily, continuing to sing, which made Brock hang his head in defeat]. Green:Ash I'm seriously getting a headache. cut it out already it's getting annoying! Lexus:Misty,please stop him already. Misty:I'll get a whole lot too,yay [Misty said singing as well].
Brock:Well, while we're here... [the Pokémon Breeder muttered, and then threw his head back and began to scream into the sky ]I'LL GET SOME TOO! YEAH YEAH YEAHHH- [Ash and Misty chuckled at his friend finally getting into the same happy spirit that he was, but suddenly, The Trio flinched back as as Green and Lexus voice screamed at them]
Both:SHUT UP! [When their eardrums recovered, the two looked up on the porch of the gatehouse to see an older man with gray hair and a tough-looking face glaring down at them from squinted eyes ].
Green:I don't want to hear your off-pitch singing! [he scolded.]
Ash:What is with this all of a sudden?!
[Ash objected, but instantly buttoned his lips together, mashing them until they turned white when Lexus released Pyro as it was close to ash face puffing smoke ]
Lexus:You want to be Trampled? [Ash,Brock Misty simply stared frozen in place with their hands up in surrender. They apologized and promised not to sing anymore throughout their Safari zone as she sighs recalling Pyro]Consider that my last warning.
Misty:Anyway let's go in and catch some Pokémon! [Our hero's went inside the building, that was next to the gates of the Safari zone. Inside,behind a counter,was a nice looking old man who must have been the caretaker of the Safari Zone].
man:Welcome to the Safari Zone! I'm guessing you're here to catch Pokémon,huh?
Brock:Yeah,We heard that you can catch as many Pokemon as you want here.
Man:Well,yes you can. But there are some rules you need to follow.
Misty:Rules?
Ash:What rules? [The old man left for the backroom.A short while later he came back with 5. Baskets and 5 fishing rods. He set them on the counter. Inside baskets were Thirty Camo colored Pokeballs].
Man:I'll say this right at the beginning: these Safari Balls and fishing rods are all you can use in the Safari Zone [he said sternly] There is also a time limit of how long you can catch Pokémon.
[Our hero's nodded as they understood the rules].
Man:Excellent! We'll call you on the PA when you run out of time. Now go and catch some Pokemon! And most importantly, remember to have some fun while you do it!
Group:Right! Thank you!
Green:Hey can we make a call to our Sponsor before we go in. I want to Deposit some of my Pokemon before going into the Safari.
Lexus:Also does this Safari zone have any Pokémon from my home region of Paldea?
Man:Too answer both of your questions. Yes you can speak with your sponsor first the timer doesn't start until you're out on the field. As for your question madam, I'm afraid we only have pokemon from the Kanto region, our neighborhood region of Johto.
Lexus:Oh I see, thank you very much.
Man:I'm glad to have answered your questions is there anything else you need help with?
[The group thought about it but shook their heads no as Ash and Green went to call Professor Oak ].
[Ash and Green approached the videophone with others behind them in the corner of the lobby. Dialing the familiar number of Professor Oak, he stared at the black screen while the line rang, and finally, Professor Oak's face appeared. The lines on his face seemed to be deeper from fatigue, but he nevertheless gave a small smile upon seeing the pair]
Oak:Ah, hello Ash. Hello, Green. Where are you two calling from?
Ash:The Safari Zone lobby.
Oak:Ah, the Safari Zone. I know there will be a lot of Pokémon there for you to catch just be careful boys there can also be powerful ones out there as well.
Green:Do you know of the Pokémon here Professor?
[Professor Oak was quiet for a moment, and he stared at the screen with pursed lips as he contemplated his answer. Before deciding to rip off the bandaid and tell the boys everything]
Oak:There was once a really rare Pokemon. Long ago a man discovered the ultra rare Dratini. Thirty years ago this man was named Kaiser [he finally responded] Kaiser built the very same Pokemon Safari zone you are in. Trainers who had heard rumors about it suddenly started intruding, and got every Pokémon they could find. As a result, the Safari Zone ended up completely wrecked. [The Group looked horrified at the story, and the Pokémon Professor continued.]After that, the Safari Zone's rule to use thirty Safari Balls was established along with the time limit On catching Pokemon.
Ash:So what happened to the Dratini?
Green:Yeah and most importantly what happened to Kaiser?
Oak:In the end, it couldn't be found [he answered. Showing a photo of a young Kaiser] But a photo remains. [Professor Oak scratched his temple nervously and turned his head nervously away from the camera]Even I don't know where it really is. After all, it's an Ultra rare Pokémon. As For Kaiser, he disappeared after that incident and I've never seen him again.
[Oak said sadly. As if to move off the subject, Oak came in close to the camera and glared at the lens at Ash through the screen]
Oak:More importantly, get some more Pokémon already! You Two haven't sent me anything at all aside from that stinky Muk and Grimer!
Boys:Ok we got it! [Ash and Green sputtered nervously, and lifted up the tackle box and fishing rod that was given in the starter pack]This time, we'll be sure to get something using these.
Oak:I'm looking forward to it! [Professor Oak concluded after Green sent all his Pokemon back except Helios and fern . Professor Oak with a wave of his hand, said fair-well To ash and Green as the screen went black]
[His arms lowered and a smirk of excitement grew on the duo's faces. In there mind's eye, They were looking straight at the Pokémon from the photograph]
Ash:The Ultra rare Pokémon Dratini, huh? I want to see it!
Green:Me, too
[Together, the Group headed out of the lobby and towards the giant wooden gates of the Safari Zone] Ash:All right! Let's get some Pokémon! [the black-haired boy said with excitement emanating from him. and with a twist of a key at the front lock, the double wooden gates slowly opened with a loud creak].
[The Safari Balls in Ash's hand rattled as his hand shook in anticipation, and the Group stepped past the border into the wasteland ahead with the tackle box in one hand, and a fishing rod in the other]. AshWell, we're off then! [Ash said to The man with a smile]
Man:Once you've used all the Safari Balls, return here immediately [He instructed].
Group:Okay! [Ash,Brock, Misty Green and Lexus said at the same time as they walked into the place as the gates closed once inside].
Green: Hey Ash,Let's have a little contest. However, the one who can catch the most Pokémon gets crowned The catching master,while the loser has to call the winner the rest of the day. So you in?
Ash:As a future Pokémon master I can't back down from anything so buddy. I accept your challenge! Green:Sweet I'm gonna go hunt Pokémon on my own see ya guys later. [He said walking away]
Ash:Do you want to go along with us to find Pokémon? [Ash asked Lexus but she shook her head in response].
Lexus:No thanks [She declined politely] I kind of tend to go at my own pace,I'm gonna see if I can find some Pokémon that will work for my team. Hope you catch some good Pokemon Ash. Misty:I'm gonna go explore and catch some water types near the rivers.
Ash:Ok let's go and catch them all! [With that Lexus and Misty left as well to catch some Pokémon of Their own and explore].

[Ash and Brock headed out in search of Pokémon. The excitement of actually being able to catch some of these Pokémon he ran into was carrying him on a cloud, and he vowed to catch the first Pokémon he saw. Fortunately, they didn't have to go very far before a rumbling sound filled their ears, and mooing and roaring followed suit. The sound was very familiar, and Ash smiled when he looked up and saw a herd of Tauros barreling toward them].
Brock:Here they come, Ash [Brock told him, and Ash retrieved his Pokédex to scan the Normal-type. Tauros. Its signature move is Tackle. Due to their docile nature, they won't attack without being assaulted first].
Ash:All right! [Ash decided with a nod, and smirked as he closed the cover to his Pokédex]I'll get Tauros [Plucking one of the green and white Poké Balls from his supply box, he pressed the center button to enlarge it, and threw the ball into the stampede]Go, Safari Ball! [The ball soared into the storm of charging Pokémon, and a loud blowing came from the inside. A red flash of light showed that a Pokémon was drawn inside, and as the pair of Trainers quickly darted out of the way of the Tauros heading toward them, Ash's eyes were only locked on the ball that was left in their wake, rocking back and forth. As the black-haired boy approached it, the ball locked shut].
Ash:It seems too easy, almost as if there's no merit to it! [the Pallet Town boy said confidently, picking up the Poké Ball and smiling].
Brock:Just remember that there's a limit on the Safari Balls you have [Brock reminded him]. [The pair nodded before moving on to catch more Pokémon].
[Timeskip]
[We see a lonely Tauros standing on an Open field eating Grass. But the normal type doesn't seem to know that someone is watching it. So it continues eating. Just then,A Safari ball flies out of the bushes towards the wild bull Pokémon. The ball hits Tauros and it gets sucked inside it. The ball wiggles for a few seconds,but soon pings, indicating that Tauros was caught. Green then walks out of the bush he was hiding in with Fern following behind him. He picks up the Safari ball and tosses it in his hand While smiling].
Fern:Ivy Ivy [Fern said giving green thumbs up with vine whip congratulating Green on a successful catch capture]
Green:Thanks buddy. [Hearing this, Fern smiled hugging its Trainer as he gently pats him on the head].
[Fern then notice something breaking the hug to inform his trainer] Fern:Saur! Ivysaur Ivysaur! [He used vines to point] [Green checks out to see what He was pointing at but smiles seeing a sleeping Scyther under a tree. Green smirks pulls out another Safari ball and slowly walks towards the sleeping Flying/Bug type].
[Timeskip]
[Green happily strolls Through the forest with Fern walking by his side. After successfully catching Tauros and Scyther he decided to go to the forest. He has been walking through the thick forest for a good While. He then heard rustling from the nearby bushes. He turned to look and saw parasect walking out of the bushes ].
[Before It could notice him and run away, Green then pulled out another Safari ball successfully capturing it. He picked up the ball and put it away. Suddenly he heard something moving up in the trees. He looked up and saw a Light purple blur moving from tree to tree flying fast. So he decided to follow it].
[After a few minutes of following the blur,it finally descended from the trees. Green then finally saw what it was. It was a Venomoth ].
Green:Oh,it's a venomoth I definitely want to catch. [He whispered to his partner. So he pulled out a Safari ball and threw it. The ball hits and Venomoth goes inside it. Soon the ball pings, indicating that Venomoth was caught. Green walked up to the ball And picked it up].
Green:We need to pick up the pace before time runs out and I lose to ash as a result. Fern:Ivysaur [Ivysaur said in Agreement with its trainer they rushed off to catch more Pokémon]. [Timeskip]
[Time passed as Green caught An Eevee, a Chansey, A spinarak and a few minutes after that a sleeping Pinsir. Next he a shuckle drinking water. A Lickitung eating a berry and A Rhyhorn eating on the open Fields. A Yanma and finally a Ledian]. [Later]
[Now we see Green panting with a fern by his side; he is busy counting; he has caught up to 11 in total ].
Green:Not bad we caught 11,heheheh I'd like to see Ash Beat that.
Fern:Ivy...Saur [Said fern in agreement but in an exhausted tone due all the chasing and running around they had to do]
[There's a rumble as out from the Forest comes a Pokemon with a long tail, sharp horn on its head it rushed up to attack them as Green is fully on guard].
Green:Fern uses an Energy ball!
[Fern launched an energy ball at this strange Pokemon as it used a Dragon Tail deflecting ball back to Fern making it skid back ].
Green:Fern?! This is definitely a strong Pokemon ok Use leech seed! [Fern nods launched seeds at His opponent but the seeds are quickly burned away hitting Fern directly as they're immediately knocked out. Scaring Green as nobody's ever managed to knock out Fern especially this quickly]
Green:You're a tough cookie aren't you? [He recalled Fern pulling out One of his new captures ] But,Despite my fears and worries I will still catch you. Go Venomoth! [He says sending out his new poison/bug type]
Green:Ok Venomoth use toxic! [He nods flying around quickly as his opponent tries to dodge but Venomoth was much quicker getting on close as they're poisoned ].
Green:Now use Leech life! [Venomoth bites into Pokemon draining them as this was a big mistake angering them he blasted off with Flamethrower hitting a tree hard as they slither quickly using dragon tail to knock them out as green recalled Venomoth].
Green:I see.so you value your looks a lot huh if I catch you I'm naming you Diamond, Now let's keep going [The battle's continued as all but one Green Pokemon remain despite the poison the Pokemon refused back down or show weakness as green breath heavy looking at his last ball ].
Green:I'm counting on you...It's all up to you go Helios! [He said sending out Helios as it growls, staring down its opponent without wasting time they clashed with Scratch and Dragon tail Helios getting pushed back as he skids back a bit].
Green:Helios show them the strength we've built together and use Flamethrower! [Helios nods doing so as he unleashes his Flamethrower as the other Pokemon does the same the attacks clashed creating an explosion as Pokemon suffered from poison struggles to move ]
Green:Now get in close and use seismic toss! [He nods charging at the Pokemon grabbing them by the tail as he swings them up in air before slamming them down the Pokemon barely conscious ].
Green:Okay now's my chance to catch it Safari ball! [He said tossing the ball. It hits the Pokemon as it shakes for a bit after a few seconds it stops pinging. As Green celebrates with Helios hugging him as Pokédex registered new catch ].
Pokedex:Dragonair,The dragon Pokémon, a dragon type and the evolved form of Dratini, A mystical POKéMON that exudes a gentle aura. Has the ability to change climate conditions, DRAGONAIR stores an enormous amount of energy inside its body. It is said to alter weather conditions in its vicinity by discharging energy from the crystals on its neck and tail.
[Green switches out one his new captures for Diamond the Dragonair as he begun healing his team with Berries and Antidote he had in his bag]
[Then the PA system is heard all around the Safari zone].
PA:Ding-Dong! Time's up! Your Safari hunt is over!
[Green picks up all his poke-balls putting them away as he takes off running towards the gate].
[He finally arrives to the gate where Ash,Misty,Brock are already their waiting for him]
Green:Hey Guys!
Misty:Hey Green! How many did you catch? Ash:Yeah,after all don't forget our best buddy.
Green:Yeah don't worry I Haven't forgotten I've caught over 12 Pokemon.
Brock:12?!
Lexus:That's amazing! Congrats Green.
Green:Thanks so what about you guys?
Lexus:I only caught 2 Pokemon a shiny Tauros and a Pokemon called Miltank.
Brock:I caught two as well. A Rhyhorn and cubone.
Misty:I caught Horsea, Marill and slowpoke.
[Green noticed that they didn't seem so happy about it]
Green:Well that's good! Those Pokémon seem to fit you guys and your goals really well.
[This caused 3 of them to smile again ].
Green:So now the moment of truth buddy how many did you catch?
Ash:I caught Over 24 Pokemon! [He said shocking both the Girls and Green].
Green:It took me forever to just catch 12! How in the world did you catch 24 Pokemon?!
Ash:Oh man,uhhh well a Pokemon master never reveals his secret I'm afraid.
Green:Come on dude you gotta tell me!
Brock:Come on ash just tell the truth,both your Pokémon go to professor oak he's gonna find out regardless.
[Ash sighs he finally agrees to tell the truth Turning to Green, Ash continued]. Ash:Ok the reason I managed to catch all those Pokémon is because...over half of them were the same species. A herd Tauros kept getting in the way of my shots as a result ended up catching 14 of them.
Ash:But I managed to catch a Mr.Mime, Totodile,cyndaquil,shiny noctowl,Chikorta,Gligar, Heracross,Gastly, beedrill,phanphy. But a bets a bet I win!
Green:As if that doesn't count over half of them were the same species of Pokemon no way buddy you lose! Back me up here guys.
Brock:Well to be fair you never said he couldn't catch same species over and over again.
Lexus:You said the winner determined by how many each one of you captured so sorry Green but you lose.
Green:Awwww rats! Ok fine I guess you win....Catching master Ash [He said mumbling the last part].
Ash:Hmmm I'm sorry but I can't hear you buddy? Can you repeat that but louder.
Green:I SAID CATCHING MASTER ASH YOU ARROGANT PUNK! [He said loudly ]
Ash:Good as part of our deal you gotta call me that for the rest of the day so don't waste your vocals [Ash said as he and rest begin to laugh after he boops his nose,Green smiles begins to join them as after one or 2 minutes they eventually stopped].
Green:So how about we return these Extra Safari balls and Rods back to the caretaker and get back on the road.
Ash:Sure and I'm gonna make some changes to my team before we leave.
[His friends nodded and they did just that. Along with making one more call to professor oak to switch up Both boys team a bit. They then went outside and continued their next journey to next town ].
((Ok let's do this. First off ash doesn't capture original 30 Tauros he only catches half,Green catches number 15 which He is naming Ferdinand and number 16 was caught by Lexus. I had him catch Mr.Mime so that way I don't have to focus on the episode he was originally caught in. Secondly all the Pokemon ash catches have the same personalities as in cannon including Gastly. I'm sorry Pokemon fan's I'm not having another "Abandon Pokemon" episode anymore. As for the beedrill ash did catch one in cannon he just gave it too another trainer I was so dissatisfied by this so I had him catch one earlier on so that way Ash can have a beedrill and give the second one too you know how in the future. As for why I didn't have ash catch all the original Tauros it's quite simple....it's dumb moving on. The reasoning why I made so many changes because this episode leaves so many opportunities to do so. And I want to capitalize on this going forward after certain other episodes things will be much different than in cannon going forward you'll see how soon later guys))
