The group arrives at a sewer plant, trying to find something. "Are you sure you know where you're going, Sherlock?" Kevin asks. "For once, can you close your mouth and open your eyes? Just follow the footprints." Ben replies. "Can you two be quiet? There could be a guard or something." Gwen tells them. "I don't sense a guard. However..." Aria trails off. "What?" Gwen asks. "Nothing, maybe it's just me learning how to use my powers again." Aria waves her off. "I swear that alien ran in here." Ben tells them. "Well, there's no sign of them now." Gwen points out. "Ooh. Check this out." Kevin picks up something from the ground. "New toy for my collection." He says, showing the group the gun. Seeing as they were unable to find the alien, they decided to leave.

The group was in Kevin's car arguing when he decided to stop at a red light. A truck comes around the corner and somehow loses control, knocking a gas pump down before crashing against a wall. The teens get out of the car to see what happened. "If that tank goes up we're talking about a major bonfire." Ben tells them. "I got the driver!" Kevin informs, running to the truck. "And I got the truck. Gwen, Ari give us cover." Ben instructs. "On it!" Aria replies. "Guess the Gwen and Aria team's back in action, huh?" Aria asks. "Yes, we are." Gwen agrees. Aria and Gwen used their energy and mana to lift the roads so that the civilians couldn't see what was happening. "How come I always get the easy jobs?" Kevin asks, absorbing the metal from the truck. He rips the door off and pulls the driver out. The gas spill reaches the truck, which has sparks coming off it and catches fire. Kevin lays the driver on the road and absorbs the asphalt from the road to protect the driver as an explosion occurs behind him.
"Your turn." He tells Ben, who was leaning on the car. He transforms into Big Chill and freezes the gas station, extinguishing the flames. Seeing as it was safe Kevin removed the asphalt protecting the man. "Hey, freak!" A Tetramand calls. "Catch!" He shouts, throwing Kevin's car at him. "Not my ride!" Kevin whines only to get hit by the car. "Kevin!" Gwen calls trying to run to him only to get circled by a Kineceleran, which creates a tornado, pushing the girl in the air. The Kineceleran stops and the tornado rises and disappears. Aria whistles, and when the Kineceleran turns to her, she wraps a lasso made of energy around her, but she circles Aria and wraps the lasso around her, leaving her dizzy and restrained. Big Chill, seeing his cousin in trouble, breaks a fire hydrant and freezes the water to make a slide so that she can get down safely. He takes in a deep breath and flies down, detranforms, and helps his cousin up. Meanwhile, Aria breaks her restraints and goes over to them. "So, whips aren't the way to go." She jokes. "W-where's Kevin?" Gwen asks, shivering. "Gone." Ben tells her.

The trio were now at Ben's house, in his room with Ben pacing back and forth, Gwen sitting with her legs crossed and Aria lying with her eyes closed. "And what really bugs me one of them is an XLR8. I mean, I used to turn into that species. None of it makes any sense." Ben says. "Gwen, Ari, feel free to jump in anytime." Ben tells them. "Shh. I'm concentrating." Gwen hushes him. "On what?" Ben asks. "I'm at one with the cosmic mana feeling the energy of the universe flowing around and through me." Gwen explains, her eyes glowing with mana. "And you have me to thank for that. Funny how I can teach you cosmic stuff but not use it myself." Aria tells the girl. "Groovy. And you're doing this, why?" Ben asks. "So that I can locate Kevin. Which I have." She says with a smile. "Now, all we have to do is rescue him." She gets off the bed and walks to the door. "Oh, is that all?" Ben asks and frowns. Aria rolls off his bed and walks past him, giving him a pat on the shoulder.

Ben, Gwen, and Aria sat at the back of a bus, which was stuck in traffic. "What kind of heroes take the bus?" Gwen asks. "Neither one of us can drive." Ben points out. "I could teleport us there..." Aria trails off. "I'm guessing you can't." Gwen tells her. "It's not that I can't, it's the amount of energy it'll take. Like I said before I can't use the same power all the time which makes absolutely no sense whatsoever since elemental manipulation is part of energy manipulation, and also since I stopped using my powers for 5 years I'm kind of rusty." Aria tells them. "In what way?" Ben asks. "First, I lost all my alien features. But I'm starting to get them back every time I use my energy form. Second, I have limitations. But I can try teleporting us there." Aria offers. "We're on a bus." Ben reminds her. "Oh, right." Aria nods, realizing it'd be suspicious if they just disappeared.

They finally get to where the aliens are keeping Kevin and see both the Tetramand and Kineceleran exiting a building. "How close are they?" The Tetramand asks. "Very." Ben answers with his hand over his watch ready to transform at any moment. "Now give us back our friend!" Gwen demands and her hand glows with mana. "Or we'll use force." Aria threatens, clenching her fists. The two aliens shoot at the teens and Gwen puts up a shield to protect them. "Friend?" Ben teases. "Teammate! Coworker! Whatever! Can we talk about this later?" Gwen asks. Unbeknownst to them the Kineceleran shot the building above them. "Hey, I'm not the one--" Ben gets cut off when debris hits him on the head, knocking him unconscious. "Ben!" Aria calls, kneeling beside him. Gwen shoots an energy beam at them but the Kineceleran dodges, resulting in the Tetramand getting hit. The Kineceleran continues, shooting at the two, and Aria throws multiple energy blasts at her, which she dodges.
The Tetramand gets back on his feet and joins his teammate in shooting at the teens who took cover behind a wall. "Come on, Ben! I need a little help here!" Gwen tells her cousin, who is still unconscious. A loud 'BOOM' was heard behind the aliens and none other than Kevin ran out of the building. "Nothing like a little iron in your diet to perk you right up!" He says. "Manny, wait!" The Kineceleran calls to her teammate, who lunges at Kevin. She continues shooting at the girls, and Aria steps in and puts up a force field, and Gwen throws mana discs at her. "Stand still, will you?" Gwen tells the alien, who keeps dodging her attacks. "I've got to start wearing a helmet." Ben says, rubbing his head. He wanders off and switches through the aliens on his watch but doesn't transform. "Ben!" Gwen calls her cousin. "Get back here!" Aria tells him, splitting her field in half and throwing it at the Kineceleran. Kevin punches Manny into a wall, and a pillar falls nearly hitting Ben. "Get out of the way!" Kevin tells him. Aria wraps an energy whip around the Kineceleran's foot. The alien looks down at her leg and then back up at Aria. "I'm gonna regret this aren't I?" She asks herself. The Kineceleran runs at full speed, dragging Aria behind her. "Aria!" Gwen calls concerned.
The female alien abruptly stops, sending Aria flying into Gwen. "Gwen! Aria!" Kevin shouts, running to the girls with Ben right behind him. "Now, let's finish 'em." Manny tells his friend. They wrap the nets around Ben's hands and pull him to them before turning him in the direction of the portal. Ben tries to transform, but his hand doesn't budge. Kevin sneaks up behind Manny and punches him in the back, causing him to let go of the net, sending Ben through the portal. Luckily, the stick gets caught in the portal, so he doesn't go through all the way, but then it snaps, sending him all the way through. "Ben!" Gwen calls out to her cousin, running to him with Aria close behind. Kevin grabs their hand, pulling them back. "He's gone. Trapped in the Null Void." He tells them. "He can't be." Aria says in a low voice. "Well it may be a museum piece but it did the job on your friend, and you three are next." Manny tells them. Aria slowly turns to look at him, with her eyes glowing red. "You did this!" She shouts, marching up to them. "Come at me!" Manny challenges her. Aria gets engulfed in flames and when it diminishes she's standing before them in her fire form.
"What the hell is that?" Manny asks. "What the hell is wrong with you?!" She asks, raising her hands, manifesting a giant fireball and fire spreads around her. Just as she's about to throw it at them, seeds land in front of her and sprout, wrapping around her arms, and keeping her in place. "What the?" She asks, looking in the direction it came from only to see Swampfire forcing his way out of the portal. "Ben." She says, relieved to see him okay. "I taught him that." Kevin claims. "No, you didn't." Gwen tells him. Aria calms down a little, and the fires around her are extinguished. "It's not a disintegrator." The Kineceleran notes. "Lousy stinking..." Manny pulls out his guns and shoots Swampfire, but they go straight through him. "I've had enough of you." Aria tells him and shoots fire at him from her mouth, knocking him back, he tries to get up, but instead, he falls back down. "Now, put down your weapons and just listen for five minutes, okay?" Swampfire tells the Kineceleran. "I'm all ears." She tells him putting down her weapons.

"So, we're all aliens?" Helen asks. "Kinda, one of your parents must have been human. The other... not so much." Ben corrects. "Yeah, well how come you can switch back, but we can't?" Manny asks, still skeptical. "Luck of the draw." Ben replies. "Look at it this way, your human version is probably even uglier." Kevin insults. "You wanna go another round?" Manny challenges. "Anytime pal!" Kevin tells him. "Tell your boyfriend to back off." Helen tells Gwen. "No, you tell yours to-- wha-ho he's not my boyfriend." Gwen tells her. "Well, you sure act like it." Helen fires back. "Don't tell me who my boyfriend isn't!" Gwen says. "Is." She corrects. "Think you're funny?" Manny asks Kevin. "Hey, you're the comedian. At least you got the face for it!" Kevin replies. "Boy, are you asking for it!" Manny shouts. "I'm begging for it! Who's gonna give it to me?" Kevin asks.
"Me! With three hands tied behind my back!" Manny replies, putting two hands behind his back. "All right, that's enough!" Aria shouts, releasing a shockwave and knocking everyone back. "What are we, your babysitters?" Ben adds. "You sound just like my brother." Helen says. "Really?" Gwen asks, not convinced. "Pierce was the one who always kept us grounded. The one who--" Helen runs into the building and comes back with a device, showing them a video. "This is what he was talking about." She tells them, letting the video play. "Only something weird happened." Helen fast-forwarded the video. "--flashed a Plumber's badge. What if it was real?" She fast forwards again. "What if we were wrong about--" She turns off the device. "Don't you see, Manny?" Helen asks, walking towards her friend. "We've been catching all those other aliens." She tells him. "What other aliens?" Ben asks. Helen hands him the device so that he can see for himself.
"Uh, some of these might be other Plumbers' kids. Like us. Like you." Ben informs, handing Helen the device. "Okay, in that case, we need to go into that... uh, what did you call it?" Helen asks. "Null Void." Kevin replies. "Null Void." She repeats. "Round up everybody we captured and free all the ones who shouldn't be in there." She tells Manny. "Not a chance." He declines. "Well Manny, I'm doing it. Whether you come with me or not." Helen tells him. "What? Why?" Manny asks. "I hate this guy." Aria whispers. "Same here." Kevin agrees. "Because it's what Pierce would do." Helen states. "All right. For Pierce." Manny finally agrees and they smile at each other. They go to their truck and turn on the portal. "Thanks, and uh, sorry about, you know." Helen apologizes. "Apology accepted." Kevin tells her. "Be careful." Gwen advises.
"Don't get trapped." Aria warns. "And good luck." Ben waves. They jump into the portal causing a bright light to shine and the teens cover their eyes. "That is so not gonna go well." Kevin says. "I don't know, on paper, we don't look like such a great team either." Ben points out and Aria scoffs. "What?" Ben asks and Aria looks at Gwen with a smirk. "Maybe you two." She starts. "But nothing beats the Gwen and Aria team." Gwen finishes. "Alien sister forever!" Aria adds. "Yeah, yeah. Now if you'll excuse me I'm gonna go swipe some of their equipment." Kevin says walking away. "Kevin!" Gwen calls. "So not cool man." Ben tells him. "It's Kevin what else do you expect?" Aria asks and they follow him inside the building.
