"I can't believe we're starting college tomorrow, it's like a fucking dream come true" Adrianna squealed out making me almost cover my ears
"Judy this is fucking exciting" she says squashing me in a hug
"Adrianna,please don't kill me before we even get a chance to go to our first class" I tell her as I continue unpacking my stuff.
"I'm just excited Judy, like we're all in the same college and we're still friends after so long, do you know how many people still talk to their high school friends? Not many and we're among the few" she says
"We still talk to each other because of our parents and the fact that we live a few blocks away from each other, and plus not all of us are friends" I say giving her a pointed look and she just sighs out.
"You know he doesn't mean that whenever he says it, it's been years and you guys still tolerate each other so that makes you guys friends to me"
"Whatever Adrianna, just help me unpack okay, I thought that was why you came here, not talk my ear down all day" I mutter and she gives me a disapproving look
"By the way, aren't you gonna unpack"? I ask looking at her and she just shrug
"Sam's gonna do that for me later" she says getting up and helping me, I just give her a pointed look
"And they say chivalry is dead" I mutter making her smack my arm "ouch, that hurts"
"You know, I wish I was you and Andre, both of you don't have to worry about roommates, I've not even moved in yet and I already have an annoying girl trying to play house with me, uuugh" she groans making me laugh
"It's called making friends Adrianna" I say with a chuckle and she rolls her eyes at me
"I already have you guys, I don't need a fresher talking my ear down every minute about a stupid party happening at a students house" she whines
"Like you're not a fresher yourself" I mutter "and besides, Andre and I aren't gonna be without roommates for long, soon enough the school's gonna find a way to stick one with us each" I explain putting away the last of my stuff in the closet.
"But still, you guys get to enjoy your privacy for a while" she says plopping on the bed with a sigh, I sit next to her both of us in silence.
I'm trying not to show, but I'm also very excited about college and the fact that we got into the same college.
I get to see my friends everyday, it's a plus one for me.
The door bursts open making Adrianna and I squeal out in surprise
"Hey bitches" Sam walks in dramatically, bot his hands spread wide open
I exhale holding my chest "are you crazy, you almost gave us a heart attack" I grit out and watch him stop looking from Adrianna to me suspiciously
Andre walks in behind him
"What were you guys doing that I almost caught you" he asks mischievously and I roll my eyes at him, Andre just starts laughing at him too
"We weren't doing anything idiot, you really should stop barging into people's rooms like that" I tell him and he just shakes his head
"I'm definitely sure you guys were doing something, Andre help me here" he says looking at Andre and he just shrugs
"I dunno man, you sound really stupid" Andre tells him before sitting on the bed close to me
"What happened to Bros before...." Adrianna quickly cuts him
"Complete that Sam, I dare you, fucking call me a hoe" she spits glaring at him and he just raises his hands up in surrender
"I wasn't gonna say hoe, I swear" he rushed out and Andre and I just starts laughing making him glare at us
"I can see you prefer the girl's side than your fellow man's" he says with disdain "at least I still have Jordan on my side" he says and that's when he makes his presence known, walking into the room, he's putting on a blue sweatshirt, and camouflage combat joggers, his hair as always is styled one side, toppled over his forehead and he has the most expressionless look on, like he doesn't even care, his hands tucked into his pocket.
"I think" Sam mutters looking at Jordan, and Andre chuckles before shaking his head
"Sam, if you don't stop talking I'm going to kill you, literally" Adrianna grits out and he just sigh before his shoulder slump in defeat
"Fine, my lips are sealed, Jesus" he groans before sitting himself on the floor, not even checking if it's clean enough.
"What are we doing here again"? Jordan asks uninterested making me look at him, his eyes are natural dark, with his dark hair.
Jordan is an Asian/American.
"We came to check on the girls" Andre says looking back at him and he just sighs rolling his eyes
"And why do we need to do that, this isn't high school anymore, I'm pretty sure they can take care of themselves" he says with a bored tone
"Lighten up Jordan, what's wrong? your boyfriend isn't here yet"? Adrianna teases making him glare at her
I just drown out their talking and focus on Andre
"Hey" I whisper and he smiles
"Hey, have you unpacked yet"? He asks with a sigh and I nod
"Adrianna wasn't much help but i have successfully unpacked all of my stuff" I tell him and he nods
"Hey guys" Sam yells drawing our attention to him "I heard there's a welcome party somewhere outside campus, do you guys think we should go"? He asks looking at us all
"I dunno guys, do you think it's a good idea, I mean we're freshers and barely know anyone" I mutter out looking at Andre
"We have each other, that's all that matters and we have this" he says before I hear the creaking of the bed frame of the other bed, making a small dent on the leg
I turn to look at Andre and he shrugs, he just used his powers "you're gonna fix that" I tell him and he pouts before nodding.
"Andre's right Judy, I think we should go" Adrianna says looking at me and I just sigh out before nodding
"What about you Jordan"? Sam asks and he just shift and starts walking towards the door
"She's going so I'm not, I'd rather go look for someone to fuck the crap out of me than go to a party with her" he says referring to me, his voice sounding feminine from the thick husky voice I'm used to hearing
I roll my eyes at him "yeah, you better do that, that's much better than being a party poopers" I retort back to him and I feel Andre put his hands on mine telling me to calm down.
"Come on man, we need you" Andre voices out, but he's already at the door
"No you don't, enjoy your party" he says before walking out and closing the door behind him
Andre just gives me a sad look before sighing out.
"I guess it's just the four of us" Sam says getting up
"No it's the five of us" Andre corrects and Sam just gives him a pointed look
"In case you didn't notice, She captain there just abandoned the ship" he muttered
"I'll talk to him, he'll come" Andre assures making Sam shrug before walking out too and so does Adrianna leaving just Andre and I
"Are you okay"? He whispers with concern and I just shrug with a smile
"I'm fine Andre" I tell him
"Okay, come on let's go" he says stretching fort his hands for me, I take it with my gloves covered ones and he leads me out to meet the others, except for Jordan of course.
"Who's hungry"? Adrianna asks and Sam yawns very loud, indicating he is, Andre and I just laugh
"Let's go get something to eat" he says before we all walk out to go get what to eat.
Okay, this is five of us
Myself, Adrianna, Sam, Andre and Jordan.
We've all known each other since freshmen year in High school, well we've known each other longer than that, mostly myself and Andre, have known each other since we were kids.
Our parents were friends, but I only really started hanging out with them when my parents died, that was Freshmen year in high school.
I've been living with Andre and his parents after my parents died, they took me in and his father helped managed my father's businesses and everything else.
We aren't regular college kids, we have powers, extraordinary powers, some of us got it from our parents and some didn't.
Like myself and Andre, we got it from a certain Gene our parents possessed, while Jordan, Sam and Adrianna were given a kind of formula that made them get super powers.
Andre's power is to bend metal, any kind of metal at all can be anything Andre wants it to be, he can harness the power of metal.
Sam's power is to walk through walls, that means he can enter into any building without being checked or stopped.
Adrianna's powers is to control electricity, she controls all forms of electricity, no matter how high it is.
Jordan's power is a bit out of the box, he has a bi gender power, he can turn into a girl, not just any girl tho, he has his own feminine side, with boobs and all of that, she has a blasting power and she can heal from any kind of wound, the part of him that's actually Jordan as a guy, is pretty strong, extremely strong physically.
And mine, well my power kind of sucks
I can control people to do my biding and I can read minds, but the voices sometimes gets too much, so I had to start using pills to control the voices in my head.
Well not everyone is friendly and accepting to our powers, some people are threatened and scared of us, while some hate us but there are some who actually welcome and like us.
