                       NYX POV:

I came out of the mess I had created, only to see nothing but dust which was everywhere. Somehow I had managed to reduce everything within the astral boundary to dust.

I was as white as you can imagine and might have inhaled too much dust since I was coughing and was also covered from head to toes with it.

To hell with finding the female lead!

I just want to go home and relax. I'm tired of all this nonsense. Just how many of these things are there in this story? For honest sake, where are they even coming from?!

I turned the black ( still dusty) Keir and picked it up heading towards the exit of the bakery shop to see  people gathering and talking amongst themselves in concern.

Aria held the baker( uncle Gus) as they both were recounting what happened.

" And the next thing I knew was that the building support pillars and partitions behind me gave way like something smashed it and everything at storeroom were destroyed." He spoke to his trader next to him( I assumed so because he was a vegetable vendor).

" Perhaps I may have not known that it was too weak but I suspect that it was the mice that had gnawed through the walls and at some point it was just a matter of time it gave way."

Thank goodness for you. Blame it on the mice uncle Gus. Blame it on them.

It would have been a lot of trouble for me if he saw something. That astral boundary Keir made was just what saved me and both of them. If he had seen the soul eater for sure he would be hunted down by more of those things before he can open his mouth to relay such.

I really regret coming to the market but then I'm glad that I came here or else I wouldn't have found my ticket to freedom upclose. And by the time I'd have found her it would have been too late.

But why are these kind of things stationed whenever I'm close by?

" You idiot. I'll never assign you with a task ever again!" I griped looking at my spirit cat whose eyes were closed.

This was the second time it was injured trying to do it's best for me. The first was when I was  almost destroyed by the rebound of the teleportation failure and Keir had jumped into my soul whirlpool to take the brunt.

Without thinking again I placed my fingers on it's chest area and closed my eyes to heal it in a blue moon dust light swirling around me.

You know I failed to mention that these level of soul eaters aren't capable of coming through dimensions unless somebody's bringing them here.

Ah yes...There's someone actively trying to destroy the plot settings and prevent the story from going on using the most simple method. Why of course finishing off the main characters so the story changes completely.

Out of sheer coincidence, my eyes sensed someone's malevolent stare on my ticket to—erm— Aria and my eyes trained to a figure in an alley.

The figure had quickly vanished into the darkness upon facing my heated gaze and I could have sworn it seemed quite startled.

Now now. If you think that I'm going after that thing then you are completely wrong.

I have to return to the body of Ginny quickly, plus Keir needs me now.

Besides my ability bar has jumped down to zero bar so I don't want to fight anyone stronger than me.

I nimbly glided past  the heads of the crowd to return to the tailor shop three streets away where Ginny's brother was. But what I had failed to notice was one person in particular eyes had spotted me.

Through the same window of the tailor's/jewelers shop I had escaped from,I returned inside the shop back to the shelves.

Gotta get myself back inside.

And with another snap of my fingers, my initial unkempt self had been reversed, all dust gone and hair fixed and clean back to the plain Ginny you know.

As for Keir, safely tucked inside my core to heal.

" Alright then we'll be expecting you to come and fit my father's outfit for the square fest." Cormac stood up.

" Ah definitely sire, definitely I will come." He, the tailor, smiled and nodded.

" Ah, Ginny. Have you seen anything yet that caught your fancy?" Cormac turned to me as if he'd forgotten that I was at the other side of the shelves observing the necklaces.

" Not a piece has I'm afraid." I shrugged biting my lips. I feel tired.

Out of my peripheral vision again I noticed that the tailor (and jewelry owner, man this guy's got two businesses in one place and is making it rich) eyes looked at me. Behind them were sympathy written.

What the hell man.

" I do have just a necklace I planned to gift my lady on her as a thank you for visiting but now that you mentioned that none caught your interest, perhaps this one would." He beamed brightly before gesturing to one of his assistants to bring a box.

" What do you think my Lady?" He asked tentatively opening the lacy box and behold there was a sharp cut purple pendant that sat quietly glimmering.

" It's beautiful. Thank you so much for this gift. Please send it along with the other fabrics to the Mori Noir mansion." I smiled at several megawatts.

What. I love diamonds and purple makes an excellent choice for me.

" Shall we leave now ?" I asked Cormac and D'arcy lad.

" Let's go then, since we have other places to sight." D'Arcy lad spoke as he stood a good distance far away from me.

I nodded and we left the shop into the carriage and back to the streets. The carriage was awkwardly quiet again and I was actually glad it was.

" Aren't you going to the confectioners shop for anything to buy for yourself?" Cormac suddenly asked me as we passed a pink painted confectionery.

" No brother." I mumbled lowly as I trying to ignore how he's been staring strangely at me. But in the actual fact my heart sang.

Yes, I want to eat cake big brother!

"How about...we tour the Westin gardens of eternal spring and then we can go to the lake to relax your mind?"

" Not interested in that brother."

Yes please! I really would love to my sweet, sweet big brother! I've changed my mind about pushing you off the carriage.

" What do you want to do then?" Cormac's eyes softened as if in pity.

Go to the beach and have fun swimming and go to a big fancy all-you-can-eat-buffet restaurant and then the sauna.

" I  just want to sleep." I closed my eyes counting to ten so I won't blurt out my mind.

I suddenly could feel my sleep acting up again.

" You shouldn't have forced yourself to pretend to be strong if you really need to rest." Cormac leaned over to look closely.

" Are you okay?" He looked very concerned. " You've become so pale and thin."

" Just sleep brother"

And he shut up again in shock. The second time again!

Anyways! So while we are on our way back let me tell you what I found.

So that particular soul eater that I had previously met had an astral projection ability meaning it could act as an anti radar. Which explained why Keir couldn't sense them in the first place but then the first one's thoughts gave them away which made it easier for me to locate them.

I had used my hands to build enough sparks to disintegrate the creature when it held me in a vice grip.

You see one thing you need to get is that it's weakest point was it's head. And in it head is a crystal sphere the size of an egg which holds the kind of ability they use.

The first one was the anti radar ability and then the second was the ability capable of creating a shift in space ( an endless cheat ability without any catch for them if you ask me). It's just that not all of them posses this.

I once discovered this when one of the grand maje of my world accidentally split the head of a fully fledged soul eater he was supposed to catch during an invasion on their nest. He destroyed the sphere without realizing...um..I need to stop talking.

You are not supposed to know about that one yet.

Mhm. I had picked up the crystal sphere and then popped them in my pockets for future use.

"..."

I'm beginning to sound like those dramatic female lead with cheat pass deposited in every creature they've slain.

(*Shouts to no one in the sky with hands up in the air) Again author I'm not going to be the spotlight character and I will not be having an adventure time with anyone. You can take back the cheat passes and allow me to survive thank you very much.

And curse you plot sama for hurting my cat! Have you no shame throwing twists?!

(On another note; cheat passes are like time bombs. It's just like preparing a lamb (me) for grilling and stewing. Whenever you get a cheat pass, prepare yourself for more than the creature you've managed to slay.)

So I'll just dispose these spheres safely or sell them. I should.

When did is story even become more creepy and seriously unhinged than normal?! I feel like I'm teleported into the wrong fairytale.
