Y/n walked downstairs to go to work. It was Saturday so she didn't have university.
She got down and saw her step mom.
S/mom: where are you going huh!?
Y/n: work
S/mom: you got this month's salary right?
Y/n didn't say anything. Her mom slapped her.
S/mom: bitch, answer me!!!
Y/n nodded.
S/mom: give it to me. Quick!
Y/n opened her bag
S/mom: I SAID QUICKLY!!
Y/n took out the money and gave it to her step mom. She took and started counting it.
S/mom: hmm you can go now
She said as she was satisfied with the money. Y/n ran out of the house as a tear slipped down her eyes.
She quickly rubbed it off and applied some makeup on her cheek so the slap mark isn't visible.
She made sure the mark wasn't visible at all and then walked towards the cafe as she plugged earphones into her ears.
She went inside the cafe.
Y/n: Hana unnie..
She went and hugged her. Hana hugged her back.
Hana: how have you been?
Y/n: good. What about you?
Hana: me too. Now let's get to work we have a lot of work today as it's a holiday.
Y/n nodded and wore her apron.
Y/n and Hana were working together and it was quite a busy day. Y/n took the orders and Hana helped the chef's to make it.
They even serve snacks so they have chef's and a kitchen to.
Hana: Y/n there's a new customer!!
She told y/n when she heard the bell on the door ring.
Y/n: ne unnie
She said as she went to the new customer.
Y/n: what can I get for you, sir?
She asked she open the book to note it down. She didn't really look at the face of the person.
"A cappuccino pls"
She noted it down.
Y/n: anything else sir?
"No thank you"
She bowed and went to Hana. She gave the order to Hana. Another customer walked in. Y/n went towards him.
Y/n: your order, sir?
"You"
Y/n: huh!?
She looked up at the person.
"You look really tempting. Can I have you for dinner tonight?"
Y/n: do you have any order, sir?
She repeated herself.
"I told you I would like to order you"
Y/n: if you don't have any order I'll leave
She said as she turned around to leave but the person caught her hand
Y/n: leave my hand
She tried to yank away his hand and get out of his grip but ofc he was stronger.
She hissed when his grip tightened.
He was about to drag her but another hand held the person's hand.
Y/n looked up to see one of the Kim brothers. She knew his name as Taehyung told her.
Y/n: Y..Yoongi-shi...
Yoongi: don't you know how to behave with a girl huh!? *cold*
He said as he separated the man's hand from her's.
Now the whole cafe's attention was on them.
"Who are you to come in between huh!?"
Yoongi: you are in a cafe so better behave with girls and better know your limits. *cold*
"You don't have anything to do with it!!"
He was again going to hold y/n but she hid behind Yoongi.
Yoongi pushed the man away
Yoongi: i told you to stay away, asshole *cold*
"Don't come in between"
Yoongi: what will you do if I come in between huh!? *cold*
His voice became more dangerous.
The man tried to punch Yoongi but he held his hand.
Yoongi: wrong move
He said as she twisted his hand and pinned him to the ground.
Yoongi: think twice before you touch a girl without her concern, bastard!
Soon the police siren were heard. The police came in and held the man.
Yoongi: make sure he's sincerely punished, officer
Police: we'll keep that in mind Mr.Yoongi
Yoongi: hmm....
The police took him out.
Yoongi: everyone pls enjoy your time here and forget what happened
He said as he went to his seat.
He didn't see y/n anywhere.
He was concerned tho he didn't want to be.
"Here's your coffee sir"
He heard her voice. He quickly looked up to her.
Yoongi: are you ok?
She nodded.
Y/n: thanks to you
That's when he noticed a mark on her wrist
Yoongi: you got hurt..
He pointed towards her wrist.
Y/n: it's fine...
Yoongi: but- *cut off*
Hana: Y/n-ahh are you ok?
She came running to her hugging her
Y/n: i am fine unnie.
Yoongi: she has got hurt can you pls treat her wound
He pointed towards her wrist
Hana: omo! I'll bring the first aid kit
She ran to bring the first aid kit. She came back.
Hana: i really don't know how to treat wounds
Y/n: it's ok I'll- *cut off*
Yoongi: I'll do it
He said as he took the kit from Hana.
Hana: thank you. I'll look after the customers till then
She went away
Yoongi: pls sit
She did as he said.
He ook her hand gently and treated her wounds.
He looked up and that's when he noticed her pendant. He looked away cuz he didn't want to look like a pervert staring at a girl like that.
Yoongi: Jin hyung told me you have a snowflake pendant
She nodded.
she took her pendant in her hand looked at it, lovingly.
Yoongi: It's beautiful
Y/n: thank you...
He closed the first aid kit when he was done.
Y/n: thank you for today Yoongi-shi
Yoongi: mention not but I would like to have the same cookies which you gave to hobi as a thank you gift
She chuckled.
Y/n: sure I'll give it to Taehyung-shii and tell him to give it to you
Yoongi nodded with a smile which was unknown to him. A genuine smile.
Y/n: I'll get back to work
She said as she got up. She bowed and went away.
Yoongi saw her walk away. He took out his phone and dialed someone.

Man: yes boss?
Yoongi: i have a work for you
Man: anything you say, boss
Yoongi: call our forensic doctor
Man: may i ask why, sir?
Yoongi: tell him he needs to do a DNA test
Man: oh ok boss. Your work will be done soon
Yoongi: hmm
