" Ek minute Santosh. Thoda rewind kijiye." I told her. We were inspecting the footage that we got from toll gate. As expected Naina was lying. She told us that on 8 November at time of Ravi's death she was at her home but in the footage she was returning home on 9 November at 1 am.
Santosh did what I said.
" bas bas yaha pause kijiye aur thoda zoom kijiye." I said.
" ji maddamsir." She said as she tapped the keypad on her laptop to do what I said.
" ye dekhiye naina raat ke 1 baje Ghar vaapis aa rahi hai. Aur jara uski haath par gaur kare to uski ek ungli kaa nakhun tuta hua hai." I said.
" Aur ye wahi nakhun hai jo hame Greenwood resort me Mila tha." Pushpaji said.
" iska matlab Ravi ke khoon mein ye Naina bhi shamil hai. Hum abhi jaate hai uss kko dhar ke laate hai maddamsir. Ek kantaap lagayenge na to tote ki tarah bolegi." Karishma Singh said.
" nahi Karishma Singh." I stopped her.
" Kis basis par aap Naina ko pakadengi, ek nakhun ke binah par? Vo kaatil hai yaa nahi ye court decide karega aur vo confession mein keh degi jab vo Ravi ke hotel room mein thi ye nakhun tab tuta tha." I explained her.
" to kya chahti hai aap? Ki ham uss Naina ki bachchi ko aise hi ghumne de? " Karishma added.
" haa madam sir ham Naina se Milne Gaye the uski body language se hi pata chal raha tha ki vo kitni jhooti hai." Santosh said.
" ye baat ham jante hai Santosh lekin ham ek aisa air tight case banana chahte hai ki koi bhi adalat use na bacha paye."
Till then billu arrived who had gone somewhere from sometime.
" jiske pichhe pad Jaye uske moonh se nikle haay haay i am billu the spy." Billu said.
" maddamsir aapne sujata pe najar rakhne ko kaha tha na. Mujhe pata chala hai hai ki ye sujata aur ye jo Naina hai ye dost thi lekin pichhe kuch time se inki dushmani chal rahi thi darasal sudhir ko Naina pasand karti lekin sudhir ne sujata se shaadi kar li. Lekin shaadi ke baad sujata aur sudhir ke jhagde hone Lage to sudhir aur naina ne milna shuru Kiya. Jab ye baat sujata ko pata chali to unn dono mein bohot behes hui thi. Aur to aur naina ne dhamki di thi ki vo sujata ke kisi aur ke affair ki news publicly sabko bata degi." Billu completed.

" hmm, thik hai. Karishma Singh thane kaa dhyan rakhiye ham aate hai." I said.
" aap kaha Jaa Rahi hai, maddamsir?" Karishma Singh asked.
" Ek paitra aajmane Jaa rahe hai , dekhte hai kitna kaam karta hai." I said keeping the idea in my mind.

" namaste sujata ji" i greeted as soon as sujata opened the door.
" namaste madam aaiye na andar." She said.
We went in and sat on the couch.
" darasal sujata ji baat ye hai ki ek murder mein hame aapki dost Naina par shak hai lekin hamare pas koi thos sabut nahi hai." I said and stopped
She thought for sometime and stood up excusing herself and brought some papers.
" kya ye aapke kuch kaam aa sakte hai ? " She asked.
I took them and read them properly. They were print outs of e mail chating of sudhir and Naina about the planning of murder of Ravi in Greenwood resort.
" kya baat hai sujat ji ye bohot hi pukhta suboot hai. Isse ham Naina ko arrest kar sakte hai." I said.
" Ji Maine inhe kal hi padha hai aur police ko bhi mai Dene hi vaali thi. Mujhe to lagta hai ki iss Naina ne hi mere sudhir ka khoon Kiya hai." She said and teared up.
" aap...aap.. shant ho jaiye. Sudhir ke case par bhi ham kar rahe hai jald hi khooni ka pata chal jayega." I said.
She calmed down and after some formalities I left.
At thana.
" Karishma Singh abhi ke abhi Naina ko bulaiye." I ordered her.
" kaa baat hai maddamsir? Humko to aap usko arrest karne se mana ki thi." She said.
" haa kyuki hame naina ke khilaf pakka sabut Mila hai." I declared.
" kya saboot Mila hai maddamsir." Pushpaji asked.
" ye email ke print outs jismein Naina aur sudhir ki chatting hai murder ki planning ki chatting ." I said.
" kaa baat hai maddam sir." Cheeta said.
" tabhi jab santu ne call records check kiye to inn mei. Se koi ek dusre se 15 dino se call par baat nahi kiye thi kyuki inko pata hai police call records check kar sakti hai isliye ye email through planning kar rahe the." Karishma Singh said.

" Nahi Karishma Singh pehle ham chahte hai ki ye Naina khud ke munh se apni sachai bataye aur to aur hame ye bhi jananna hai ki balvir ne sudhir ko kyu maara? Aap ek kaam kijiye kal Naina ko subah subha jald jald yaha bulaiye. Aur haan use pata nahi lagna chahiye ki hamare paas saboot hai. thik hai " I said.
" ji maddamsir" everyone said. " ye printouts sambhal kar rakh dijiyega Karishma Singh. Ham chalte hai." I said giving her that papers. " ji maddamsir." She said.
I was about to go when pushpaji said," vaise maddamsir aapko yaad hai na Aaj aapko...." She stopped talking and blushed and I knew.
"...aapko Anubhav sir ke Ghar jaana hai." She blushed again. I shook my head at her and said," ji pushpaji hame yaad hai filhal aap sab bhi Ghar jaiye aur aap cheetah night duty jara khuli aankho se kijiyega." I warned him.

I was standing outside his house deciding whether to ring the bell or not. Both of our mothers were out of the town and we decided to have the dinner together. Finally deciding to knock the door I don't know why I closed my eyes and I lifted my hand to knock I heard the door open and opened my eyes to see him in front of me and I was going to knock his chest my hands too near to his chest, this happened in less than 2 seconds that i almost screamed seeing him.
" kya hua haseena aap chilla kyu Rahi hai. Ham koi pisach lag rahe hai kya?" He asked.
I didn't answered for a second while i was zoning out for no reason and i realised that I was staring at him for longer than normal so i broke the contact and said, " abb.. vo..umm...hum andar aaye ?" I blabbered what came in my mind first and instantly mentally slapped my self for saying it.
" unn... Haan Haan avashya ham bhi aapko sab kuch bahar se hi puchh rahe hai. Aiye aiye." He said and welcomed me. I stepped inside the home and felt the warmth instantly. This house really felt very homely and I loved it.
" baithiye na haseena ji ham aapke liye paani lekar aate hai." He said.
I was not thirsty so I said," nahi anubhav rehne dijiye ab vaise bhi khana hi to khana hai. Ulta ham aapki plating karne mein yaa kuchh aur karne mein madat karte hai." I said.
" aapne khana lane ka kasht kyu uthaya ham hum dono ke liye khana banane Wale the." He said looking at the bag in my hands.
" amm...darasal... Baat...aisi..hai..ki.." i fumbled again.
Oh! God haseena what are you doing you can't even speak a single sentence in front of him.
" kya baat hai haseena ji? Ham tabse dekh rahe hai aap hichak rahi hai baat karne mein aap sukhad ( comfortable) to hai?" He asked getting concerned.
Look he got concerned because of you now what are you looking answer him idiot
" ji nahi bilkul ham comfortable hai ." I said.
" achha to aap hichak kyu Rahi thi." He asked staring deep in my eyes.
Ufff! Those eyes. They are just.. I can stare at them for the longest time. But i remembered that we had to do the dinner. So i broke the eye contact looking away from him. This was a pain even he looked away and when we again saw each other we just smiled and he said," chaliye khana khate hai."
I nodded and further helped him in plating, serving etc. He had bhindi masala at his home and I made some chole rice as he once said he loves that.
" haan, haseena aapka wo sudhir aur vo Ravi murder case kaisa chal Raha hai?" He asked eating rice and chole from his plate.
" Ravi ka murder case to almost solved hai mujrim kaa bhi pata chal gaya hai bas ham ek baar confession chahte hai." I told him and further explained him about the case and Naina.
" baki sab thik hai lekin agar balvir naina aur sudhir ye tino hi ek team the inhone ek saath hi Ravi ke murder ki planning ki to fir achanak se balvir ne sudhir kaa khun kyu kiya? Kyuki jaisa aap bata Rahi hai sudhir kaa khun bhi balvir ki gun se hi hua hai jis par balvir ke hi ungliyo ke Nishan hai." He asked.
" ham bhi yahi soch rahe hai Anubhav." I told him," khair kal dekhte hai Naina se kya pata chalta hai." I said after a pause.
We had almost completed our dinner but he hasn't complimented me ye about the chole rice. I don't know why i am longing for this I was never a attention or appreciation seeker but any appreciation or compliment from him would always leave me with butterflies in my stomach.
" thik hai to phir ham chalte hai." I announced looking at the wall clock striking 10:10 pm. I didn't knew how time flied and I still feel I have many things to share with him talk with him. But I had to leave.
" thik hai ham chalte hai. Bye" I said standing at the door.
" bye. Shoobh ratri." He said.
" Haa good night." I said and stood there a moment long expecting and waiting for the compliment I was longing for.
But he stayed quite so I turned to leave but my heart betrayed me and as if involuntarily i turned towards him facing him.
" kya hua haseena ? Kuch bhul gayi kya?" He asked.
Now answer him idiot.
" aa...vo..ham kehna chahte..the..ki.." i fumbled again. " kii.." he asked bobbing his one eyebrow.
" sweet dreams! " i said suddenly.
" ohh! Aapko bhi." He said. And finally, disheartened I turned away to leave but when I reached for the handle just then he said, " vaise chole kafi acche Bane the haseena ji."
I couldn't be more happy and I somehow stopped myself from blushing.
Due to this i stepped out of the house without saying him thankyou. I was regretting it so i messaged him
