A day has passed and I fell sick, I let Sun-oh that I won't go to the park, just in case he shows up. He tells me to get better soon.
I took a long nap and now I'm cuddling with Beaux. She's so cute when she sleeps. I love her more than anything.
I hear a knock.
I go and see my sister,
Crying.
My sister bullied me growing up, all sisters did. But she never let anyone else even touch a hair on my head. I hate to see her cry.
"Ann" I call her name, she doesn't respond and just sobs into my shoulder. I guide her to my bedroom and let her sit down next to the ragdoll kitten. "Ann, love, what's wrong" I try to sooth her and she cries even more.
At this point, I don't know what to do. I see blood on her shirt.
"Ann, who did this to you." She sniffed "I'm serious right now so answer me." "Gregory" she got out between heavy sobs. Gregory is my brother in law. I've always respected him. So did Ann.
So where the fuck did he find the audacity to hit my sister.
"Stop crying Ann, we're suing the shit outta that asshole."
"Lana no! He's my husband I love him, daddy hit mama sometimes too but they loved each other!" She pleaded, like that would help. "Well you and Greg are not Mama and Daddy so cut the bullshit."
"Don't you have a case, stop worrying! I'm the big sister! I should be the one protecting you." Now she's angry. She has no right to tell me off but I let it slide, she's emotional.
"My case is easy, I win, always, but you're my sister so I'll prioritize you before anything else" she cried and cried into my shoulder before falling asleep.
I told my sister that she's my priority today.
She took that to heart.

Sun-oh was thankful that Mila didn't go to the park because he stayed up late thinking about her.
You actually get to see more of the family dynamic in this chapter, the angst is still coming and it's not stopping for a while.
