On their way to cinnabar island, the gang had quite a few adventures.
One of those was when they went to Matcha city's pokemon center where the pokeball transfer machine had been causing problem as the transferred never end up on the other side. They met professor Akihabara, who created the created the pokeball transfer system. He told them that Team Rocket stole his prototype porygon, a digital pokemon that can go in cyberspace, and was using it to steal trainer's pokemon from inside the compute system.
Proffesor Akihabara sent the gang and his second porygon into the cyberspace system, using his Dimension Transporter, to stop Team Rocket, whom they have learned had set up a blockade that stopped pokeball from travelling in the network. Porygon was able to defat Team Rocket's porygon, unfortunatley pokemon center offcial monitoring the situation were unaware that Ash and the gang were inside, and sent an antivirus program into the system to combat the computer virus Team Rocket had set up.
Luckily, they gout out of there before the antivirus got them. However professor Akhiabara's house got destroyes in the process, much to his Dismay as his Dimension Transporter was now broken. The team Rocket and group succesfully escaped the computer, with Team Rocket's blockade removed, the pokeball transmitting devices returned to normal.
As a Thank you gift, professor Akihabara gave Ash in porygon. He belived that porygon shouldn't be stuck in the lab forever and that porygon took a shine to her as well.
Soon afterwards, the gang headed out once more.

At the moment, Ash and his friends were now walking along the path. They had been walking for a good distance they stopped when they heard a cry of a pokemon.
"You hear that?" Yellow asked
"That sound like a pokemon." Ash said looking around
Pikachu headed towards the cry and found a familia brown pokemon inside a base tree tied to a tree post. It was an eevee with a sad face.
"An eevee." Yellow said unting it.
Glissle looked at the area and thought,"This tree is a good shelter for any small pokemon to take cover and this Eevee is tied up with food and water, wonder why?"
"Do you think its abandoned?" Yellow asked
Glissle then Eevee's Blue collar with a tag attached and said, "No, like it belongs to someone. It has a name tag, and it looks like an address too."
Ash bent down and said,"Look like its owner is from stone Town."
"Hmm, that's on the foot on evolution mountain. It holds evolution stones that allow certain pokemon to evolve by use of it." Brock explained
"We better head there and return this little guy." Ash said
"You think ots trainer lokking for it?" Yellow wondered, picked up Eevee into her arms.
"Well I think so. I am sure there is a reason why it was left there." Ash replied
"Let's get going then." Brock said

The gang soon arrived at stone town and found the address leads them to a giant mansion.
"Wow." Yellow said looking at the mansion
"It's gigantic." Brock commented
They head towards the backyards and notice a garden party being help.
"It's a garden party. " Brock said
"Looks like fun." Ash said
"Hey guys, look there." Misty pointed in a direction.
Everyone looked to where she was pointing and saw a trainer with a poliwhirl and a teen with spiky yellow haired teen placed a water stone on it. Then poliwirl evolved in poliwarth.
"Congragulation it evolved." The spiky yellow haired teen said
"Thank you so much." The trainer thanked the yellow haired teen
Ash recognized that yellow haired teen as sparky along with his other brother, pyro the red- haired teen, Rainer the blue haired teen, and the younger one, Mikey. Ash also rememberd what happend later in the episode. Whenver it came to evolution, he always asked his pokemon if they wanted to evolve or not and he always respected their decisions.
"Wow. That's so amazing." Yellow said
The gang gazed at all of the pokemon around the garden.
"They have all been evolved using those evolution stones." Ash said
Suddenly the three Eevee brothers appeared in frony of the gang.
"Where did you go to? We were worried about you, Eevee." Sparky said
"Yeah." Rainer took Eevee from yellow's arms, "Thank you for finding Eevee for us."
"This is great. We have gout our star, we can go on with the show." Pyro said
"Eevee's a star?" Yellow asked, confused
"If that's true, then why was it tied up?" Brock said
"I am sure there is a reason, who are you guys anyways?" Ash asked
"I am pyro." Pyro introduced himshelf
"I am Rainer." Rainer said
"And I am sparky." Sparky said
"Unique names." Glissle said
"Mikey, Eevee has come back." Sparky called out.
The gang saw a boy with Brown hair and eyes wearing a green shirt an dblue shorts, approached them. Ash knew that was Mikey, Eevee's trainer.
"Oh." Mikey said
Eevee jumped out of Rainer's arms and into Mikey's.
"How could you lose him? You have got to be careful." Pyro said
"You will lose your trainer qualification." Rainer warned
"Did Eevee really escape? But it was tied to a tree right?" Yellow asked
"Why did you bring him back?" Mikey said
"Huh?" The gang asked
"Hey, you don't need to snap at us." Ash said,"Beside, it would be wrong to just leave him there. Even if there was food and water."
"Listen Mikey. One day you will be a pokemon trainer just like us." Sparky started
"Do you really think you can win your first battle with an unevolved Eevee?" Rainer asked
"All of us won our first battle beacuse we have evolved our Eevees. There is no other way to win. This the key to a first victory." Pyro said
"I don't care about battles." Mikey said
"DON'T CARE?" The three brothers shouted along with their pokemon.
"They are scary." Yellow said
"Yeah." Brock said
"What a strict family." Ash said
"Everyone is waiting to see what you make Eevee evolve into, Mikey." Rainer said
"You have got three choices. Which do you think is the strongest of all the evolved Eevees?" Sparky said
"Three? I thought there were more." Yellow said
"I belive they are talking about the most common ones in kanto which are jolteon, Flareon, and vaporeon."Ash said
"That makes sense, I didn't even know about Espeon, umbreon, Glaceon, Leafeon, or sylveon." Brock nodded
"I guess you are right." Yellow said
"We want to know what you think of our pokemon. Mikey, which pokemon do you want Eevee go become?" Pyro stated
"A thunder stone will make it a jolteon. When a jolteon gets mad the hairs on its body turn to needless. Then it firest at its opponent." Sparky exclaimed
"A water stone will make it a vaporeon. It can melt into water." Rainer said
"A fire stone will make it a flareon. With a blazing flame attack realsed from its internal fire sack, Flareon is the strongest evolutionary choice of all." Pyro explained
"What? My jolteon is the strongest of all." Sparky said
"Too bad you are the only one who thinks so." Pyro disagreed.
"Heh mikey I am sure You will make the right choice and make it a vaporeon." Rainer said
The gang gazed at Mikey with pity.
"The family is compatitive." Brock stated
"There is a lot of pressure to put on the little guy." Glissle said
"Yeah." Ash agreed then, "And they are still at it."
Brock, Glissle, Yellow, Misty and the pokemon said
"I am not getting involved in this. Let's get some food." Ash suggested
Then the group went over to the food table and picked out some food.

Ash had finished his food and went to look at the stones. Glissle joined him. The gang had let out their pokemon to interact with the others.
Ash and Glissle noticed Mikey and his Eevee sitting all alone. So they went over to them.
"You know, there is actually more forms of Eevee besides Jolteon, Flareon and vaporeon." Ash said
"Really?" Mikey said
"Here, have a look." Glissle said taking out his pokedesk
"Wow, I never realized there more." Mikey said
"But you don't want Eevee to evolve right?" Ash asked
"My brothers don't care about anything but battling pokemon." Mikey said
"I was trying go hide Eevee from them, just for today. Then nobody could force me to make him evolve at the party. " He said
"But Eevee looked very lonely out their." Ash said
"That is right Eevee didn't want to be left alone." Glissle said
"I was going to go get him later." Mieky stated. "I don't care if Eevee eveloves or not. I just want him to be my best friend."
"That's great." Ash smiled
"You think that's great?" Mikey said
"There is only one thing wrong." Ash said
"What's that?" Mikey asked
"You shouldn't have hidden Eevee. "Ash replied, " you were just running away from your problems. If you don't want Eevee to evolve, tell your brothers how you feel. That js your responsiblity as a trainer."
Mikey stared at Ash.
"You should tell them that you don't want to evolve Eevee and you like him just way he is." Glissle said
"Beside, it should always be the pokemon's decision whether he or she wants to evolve or not." Ash said
Mikey looked down and thought.
"You are right." He shouted
His brothers approached.
"Mikey, Have you decided on Eevee's evolution yet?" sparky questioned
Mikey looked over at Ash and Glissle who nodded with encouragement giving him the courage to do this.
"I." He was cut off by poppers all around everyone and their pokemon whicb caused everyone to panic.
"It's show time, everybody." Jessie said
"Who have invited you here?" Spaky asked
Jessie and James jumped out of the ballon and stood on a table.
"Prepare for trouble!
And make it double!
To protect the world from devastation!
To unite all peoples within our nation!
To denounce the evils of truth and love!
To extend our reach to the stars above!
Jessie!
James!
Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light!
Surrender now, or prepare to fight!
Meowth! That's right!"
"Who are these people?"
"They are Team Rocket. An organization of criminals who steal other people's pokemon." Glissle said
Ash used his Mew to float everyone, which shocked everyone.
"They were after all of the pokemon and stones." Brock said
"Mikey would you help me, send them flying off?" Ash asked
"Yeah" Mikey said
"Okay Eevee, use Take down attack." Mikey said
Eevee ran towards Jessie and James.
"What's this a stuffed animal?" Jessie said
"Eevee Tackle." Mikey said
"Pikachu thunder, Mew Dark pulse." Ash odered
The attacks hit the ballon and sent Team Rocket into the sky.
"TEAM ROCKET IS BLASTING OFF AGAIN." Team Rocket shouted before they dissapeared into the sky
All the pokemon cheered
"We did it eevee. You are the greatest." Mikey said
"You did it, Mikey." Ash said
"That was really cool." Yellow said
"Mikey, that was incredible." Sparky said
"And you won the battle without making Eevee evolve. I was wrong." Rainer said
"You always said you didn't want to battle but you did great." pyro said
"I just wanted to help everybody out. Also I have decided to become an Eevee trainer." Mikey said
"Hmm? " The three bother asked
"An eevee trainer?" sparky asked
Mikey nodded with determination
"Well, Mikey, if that's what you want to do, then do it." spaky said while smiling
"If you felt that way about it, you should have told us sooner." Rainer said
"Now we are four Eevee brothers." Sparky said
"You are the best." Mikey said to his brothers
"Congragulation Mikey. Ash congratulated
"Thanks. " Mikey said
"Hey, guys let's make this parety a celebration of Eevee's first victory." Pyro sakd
Rainer and sparky nodded

Everyone gently tapped their glasses with one another in celevration to mikey and eevee's first successful battle.
"Congragulation Mikey." Ash said
"Thanks for helping me Ash and Glissle." Mikey said
"Welcome Mikey." Ash said

Everyone was getting in position for a group photo. Psyduck was setting up camara and when the red light was blinking, he ran over to get into position, only to trip on own his feet and as the photo was snapped.
To Ash, it was a great photo. It reminded him of a lesson he had somehow taught to Mikey and all of his brothers, All of us must have the courage go follow our own true path.
