It had been around a month since she had obtained her vision, and during the time, the both of you have gotten closer.

Time was passing by quickly, and soon, Aether would have to leave to go to the next region for more information on his sister.

Furina summoned her "oceanid form" with her vision and put her hands on her hips, proud of her accomplishment.

Even though it sounded like you weren't interested, Furina knew that you were actually really impressed with her accomplishments.
"Hehe!~ Just wait until you see me fight tougher opponents! I'll take them down in seconds."
A smug smile appeared on Furina's face as Paimon shook her head in disapproval.
All you did was stare at her happy expression with your mouth slightly agape.
You were a little surprised.
She was smiling ear to ear.
She looked truly happy.
"What are you staring at??"
Furina blushed as she immediately turned around as her hands quickly wiped at her cheeks.
"Is there something on my face!?"
"No."
Furina stopped rubbing her face, thinking about the endless reasons as to why you were staring at her.
"Huh, then what is-"
Furina turned around but immediately got quiet when she saw you smiling.
"I'm glad."
Aether looked surprised while Paimon had her jaw wide open.
"TRAVELER! Did you see that?!?!?!"
Paimon pointed at you while all Aether could do was nod, speechless.

"Well, that's new."
"W-why are you looking at me like that!?"
Furina shielded her face from your gentle smile.
It was too perfect for her to look at, that she had to look away.
"Huh? What's wrong?"
You genuinely looked confused while Furina was desperately trying to gather her composure.

Furina proudly pointed to her cookbook.
"This thing!"

You walked over to her, and she lent you the cookbook. You studied the dish that she presented to you.
"Dango?"
"Yes!"
That wasn't a Fontaine dish, wasn't it?
"Why dango?"
Furina put on her apron and started getting things out of her cabinets.
"Well, one of the things I want to do is try different desserts from different regions. I thought I should start with Inazuma's sweets first."
You looked back at the picture and then the ingredients.
Based on your cooking skills, making something like this shouldn't be too hard for you, even though you never made it before.
"Alright. Do you have everything?"
"Yes, I went and did a little shopping before you came."
"I see."
You looked down at the cookbook and then out the window.
On a random day of the week, you were casually cleaning and cooking for when Aether got back, but you weren't expecting them to come back with a message.
It was from Furina, to be exact.
To be honest, you were expecting her to ask you to help her with her vision or invite you to another tea party.
What you weren't expecting was for her to invite you to her very own home.
You were hesitant, of course, but Aether encouraged you to go.
"Alright, so first we need....some milk."
Furina walked over to the fridge and searched for some milk.
All you could do was stare at the recipe on the counter.
You didn't feel like you should be here..
"Ah, found it!"
Furina pulled out a jug of milk and placed it on the counter.
"Okay, so all we need now is some snap dragon, sakura bloom, and rice."
Furina took the ingredients out of the shopping bags.
You looked at her confused when you saw that she actually had these ingredients.
"Where did you get Sakura Blooms..?"
"From Neuvillette. He had some shipped here, just for this special occasion."
"I see.."
Furina quickly walked over to the counter and placed everything down, clearly beaming with excitement.
"Okay, let's begin!"

Aether had just finished a commission and was currently walking back to the adventures guild.
No. Paimon asked the question that he's been avoiding.
He doesn't want you to leave.

Paimon looked a little sad as she saw Aether deep in thought.
You three have been together for such a short amount of time, yet it felt like you've been living with them in the TeaPot forever.
She didn't want to see you go...
"Only time will tell."
Paimon hesitantly nodded as she followed Aether.

Furina held up the plate of food to show you, and then she placed it on the table.
Finally, after remaking multiple batches and trying to perfect the dish like in the picture, it was done.
"Alright, now we should try it!"
Furina sat in a chair while you sat in the one in front of her.
She never thought that she would ever be sharing sweets with someone in the comfort of her own home like this..
Furina reached for one of the desserts and held it up to her mouth.
She was nervous.
The only thing she knew how to make was macaroni.
No. She shouldn't be worrying like this. This was one of the reasons why she invited you over.
So you could guide her into making something delicious.
She nervously looked down at the dango.
What if you didn't like it?
"It's good."
Furina snapped out of her thoughts and looked up at you.

You were already chewing.
Furina couldn't help but sigh, seeing your mouth stuffed with dango.
"You really couldn't wait for me?"
All that came out of your mouth were muffled noises as you chewed the desert.
Furina only shook her head with a small smile on her face.
She was glad that you liked it.
She then held the dango close to her mouth.
The more she tasted the sweet taste of Inazuma's dish, she realized something.
The food was good, of course, but there was another reason.
The dango tasted so good because you were here sharing it with her.
For the first time in 500 years, she felt like she truly had someone by her side.
Someone who she would give her life to.

These thoughts were similar to when the both of you danced on the beach.
All those years of calling for help were finally heard, and now she can finally rest knowing that someone will willingly be friends with her.
Furina couldn't help but giggle as she smiled wide.
The sun shone brightly through the window, lighting up the whole room.

"Why are you laughing?"
You looked at her confused as to what she could be laughing at. Furina only giggled some more.
After a bit, she calmed down and tore her gaze away from the dango, looking you in the eye comfortably.
