ᗰarie breathed out the fresh morning air as she swung her legs, a small smile on her face as she tucked a beautiful neon - blue flower behind her ear and adjusted it. Her  left fingers lazily trailed across the surface of the wooden bench she was currently sat on as her other hand adjusted her hair which was messed up because of the morning breeze.

She knew she wasn't alone.

Shaera was inside the palace, probably with her parents as she's trying to make up an excuse to travel with them and abandoned her princess duties. Her parents, are protective. They haven't figured that the King of Angerin wandered inside her palace and declared that he will be her teacher for the time being just a couple of days before. That's a good thing. She don't want them to be involved in this after all. The less others know, the less problems will arise.

Yesterday, Chris told her that she couldn't practice in the Castle grounds because it'll be too dangerous for the kingdom and her palace, since she still dosent know how to control said staff. He also advised her to keep the staff close to her at all times. Even keeping the staff close to her and not interacting with it can slowly create a deep and strong bond together with it. Hence, now the staff is leaning beside the right side of the little space on the bench she left for her staff to sit on it. She hasn't unwrapped it though. Chris said not to, for it's dangerous, since she still dosent know the basics of how to use or to communicate with the said staff. It'll might drive the staff crazy if she's to unwrapped it.

Shaera asked her yesterday, if she believe in whatever Chris just said to them. She only smiled and said.
"Yes, I do."

After all, she didn't believe he was lying. He didn't need to lie, since they already made the deal. She also remembered her parents talking about those good ol days where they left the palace and wandered off to a far away remote area just so they could practice using and commanding said staff. They used to tell her the amazing stories of them trying to figure out said staff and how to use it. Sometimes they're training ends them up being burned, thrown away, picked up and brought back down to the ground at full speed or them just having a doubt that they could get it's trust.

Hearing them being thrown away atleast some foots and crashing right into a nearby thick old tree really did gave her a shiver. Looks like she's going to go through all of that. She can only hope that Chris knows what's he's doing. But according to the history of our world, he's a God. Ofcrouse he knows what he's always doing.

Creepy and unbelievable but - she has to give him a chance right?

The brunette seized her thoughts as she started hummed a tone ,her blue crystal eyes wandered over to the peach pink sky as the cozy fluffy clouds swam through the sky as the wind pushes it. A smile grew on her pink lips as it tugged on her rosy red cheeks, her long lashes fluttered against her eyes as another breeze swam pass her face, making her to choke a giggle. The sun hasn't rised yet to reveal it's beauty at the tip of the mountains and trees of this world, but the sky was already been painted by the beautiful asthetic colours of orange, peach and light pink like a rainbow covering up the whole sky. Marie gave out a sigh as her gaze landed on the many tall trees which towered over the garden, admiring the fresh green colour of the morning.

"Beautiful, innit?"

She didn't had to snap her neck to know who was talking behind her. Marie only nodded as she shut her eyes closed, enjoying to cold damp morning air as it swam against every curve and feature of her body and face. She felt movements behind her as the figure made they're way to the wooden bench she was currently sat on. A small amount of weight, surprising, was suddenly beside the empty space of the bench she left unintentionally, making her to snap her eyes open as she turned her neck to grin at the man sheepishly.

"I like the morning. It's beautiful, breathtaking and cold."

"I must agree with you, darling." Chris commented in a soft, gentle voice as his eyes wandered over the flowers which bloomed colourfully over the landscape of the garden, admiring it with a relaxed grin. Something about seeing his calm side made her feel comfortable with him, unlike most of the times where he would be noisy and happy like a kid which made her uncomfortable with the amount of energy he possessed within him. "I like the morning too. Something about it it's always magical. Magical and different."

"You're right." Marie hummed and closed her eyes shut as she felt the wind flew right against her face, causing her to let out a giggle as her hair got messed up, flying away in all directions and some strands of hair landing on her face. She patted and pushed her hair away while turning to smile at the man beside her sheepishly. "But the downside is, your hair will always get messed up by the breeze."

Chris hummed softly as his eyes closed halfway, his glare glistening in the morning orange rays of the sun as it peaked it's head out of the top of the mountains far far away.
"Think of it as a hairstyle." He said absentmindedly.

"Excuse me?"

"The wind." Chris pointed his index finger infront of his face as if the breeze of the morning was an object which could be seen by the naked eye. "I like to think that the wind dosent unintentionally do that, the wind just like making their own hairstyle." Then he proceeded to giggle at his own remark stupidly, realizing that it didn't made any sense. "Don't bother thought. My opinion sometimes about something and anything are stupid as always."

Marie thought of it as she bit her fingernail, her gaze landing at the man beside her. She gave him a cheeky smile after seconds of deep thoughts. "No, your wrong. I like your opinion. It's different and creative. Also, yeah, I would think the same as well." And she giggled softly with her hands covering her mouth while Chris turned to look at her with a growing grin as his eyes glistened in happiness.

"Glad to know that I'm not the only one with a mind like mine."

Chris only smiled as he turned his head to stare at the beautiful scenery infront of them while Marie giggled yet again. After a minute or two, she stopped giggling as she turned to open her mouth to speak to Chris again until her mouth fell silent as she watched him silently, her eyes not leaving his face. Shape jaw, small sharp pixie nose, big slitted eyes, long eyelashes and thin, bushy white eyebrows. But what stood out the most was the scar which ran from the upper side of his forehead, to his left eye then down to his cheek and neck. She frowned as she took in all the details. She didn't knew why she started observing his features. Perhaps because she never got a good look at his face when he first introduced himself to them.

She took her time to stare at the scar on Chris face, him not noticing that the young Queen was staring at him as he stared infront of him absentmindedly. Marie hummed softly. The scar looks old..yet new. Not only that, it was a bright red color, as if it's a new scar, yet it's not bleeding blood like its used to do when it's a new scar or bruise, which did not made sense at all.

Should she ask him? Maybe she should, since they both are alone. Even if he dosent want to say anything about it, she will respect his decision and not pry on it. After all, it will be unladylike of her. The brunette decided to give it a go as she sigh, opening her mouth to speak to the man as another chilly breeze flew right across her face and body, making the hair behind her neck to stand up still.

"Chris, may I ask you something?" Marie mumbled out loud enough of the man to hear her. She wasn't expecting him to actually hear her, but once his neck snapped to face her, his original, wide childlike grin appearing back on his face as his yellow eyes lit up a brighter shade of yellow, she knew he heard her. His lightbulb gave a short but loud buzz, indicating that he was curious and excited as he stared at the Queen in question and curiousity.

"What would it ever be darling?"

Marie couldn't help but pointed out the scar with her index finger, even though she silently hoped that she didn't offend the ginger head man by accident. "That scar." She started as a frown remained on her face. "What's that about? It looks old..yet new and fresh."

Chris stared at her, his grin relaxing and his eyes seemingly lost as he stared at her dumbfounded for some seconds. He slowly lifted his index finger to his face and pointed at where the scar starts from the right side of his forehead, tracing it down to his eyes and to his cheek as he spoke. "You mean this scar, darling?"

"I mean..yeah." Marie confirmed, confused at the odd question. Did he had other scars that she hasn't noticed yet?

Chris chuckled awkwardly as he turned to face the garden again, realizing what dumb question he just asked as he played with his tie as he adjusted it from sheer reflex of nervousness. "Well..it's from my childhood."

"You had a childhood?!"

It was a dumb question, really. Even Chris snapped his neck to face her with a are you serious look on his face. His nose scrunched up in disbelief as Marie quickly fumbled around to apologize, feeling her cheeks heat up from embarrassment as she stuttered in a squeaky voice.

"I - I mean-.. ofcrouse you do!" She gave him a big, wobbly nervous grin as she grin up at him from her position sheepishly. "Who doesn't? Stupid of me to ask that question and interrupt you-"

"Not a problem dearie." Chris chuckled in amusement, his static voice filling up the atmosphere as he crackled for a moment. "It's natural for someone to ask something as that. Now, yes I'll tell you, I got that scar from my childhood." He turned so that he was facing her, his right leg pulled up as he folded his leg on the bench while the other one swung from below. He hummed as he leaned, his hand on his cheek as he rested there.

"Do you want to fuffil your curiousity, dearie?"

It was a question which was directed at her opinions. Marie nodded vigorously, excited and curious of the man willing to share his lifetime stories with her. She quickly sat criss cross on the bench and leaned backwards so that her head was rested beside the staff with an eager look on her face.
Chris sigh as he turned to look at her, his grin not straining as he spoke to her.

"It's a really long story, but I'll make it short. Are you okay with that?"

"I'm okay with anything Chris!" Marie beamed as she hugged herself, bringing her knees up to her chest as she hugged both of them while giving Chris a big, goofy smile. Chris smiled as he seemed to be lost in thoughts for a while, until his eyes got darker shade of yellow, the static on the air increasing and an invisible tension started to form in the air. Marie frowned as she watched him silently. He seemed to be upset about something as he thought silently for a while, until he suddenly snapped out of it and everything turned back normal. He gave her a grin as he started speaking, his eyes not leaving his legs as he began with a big grin on his face.

"Back in my days, before I turned into this, I was a human."

Marie squealed from the excitement and curiousity which suddenly erupt from the pit of her stomach. She jumped up and hugged her knees to her chest more tightly as she beamed like a child. A human?! Him?! An ordinary human?!
Chris chuckled as he lazily stared at his thighs below him, amused that the little Queen was suddenly so excited. Marie cleared her throat and awkward gestured Chris to continue, him just nodding at her while his smile remained.

"I was born in Britian, 1890, in a wealthy, successful family. I had everything I wanted. toys, gowns, and a brother to play with - you name it all. I had a beautiful, caring Mum and a big, cozy room to sleep in. I got a garden, a little park and a huge mansion where we would live our whole life in. Everything seemed like my little perfect, happy life. But ofcrouse, not everything lasts forever."

The atmosphere slowly grew dark and grieve, the place looking eerie as a dull static sounds started buzzing from his lightbulb as he continue, his eyes seemingly holding a storm of terror and horror behind those static which flew in his eyes seemingly endless. He looked down and spoke in a blunt monotone voice, his grin falling into a rested, weak tight lip grin as he continued, his whole demenour of happiness and giddiness suddenly vanishing into thin air.

His voice was dark and eerie, which suddenly started echoing in the pit of her stomach as he continued speaking, giving her a bad gut feeling as he insides twisted around like there was something in her stomach which didn't belonged in there.

"I got this scar when I was trying to protect myself from a certain someone who ruined my entire life. He cut this scar in a swift movement when I wasn't aware. I was blinded on my left eye because of him, I lost my left pinky finger because of him.-" Chris lifted his left hand so that Marie could see. It was true. His last, little finger was chopped off clean, but she couldn't see his real fingers as it was covered by his grey gloves he wore. She could only imagine how much of pain that might had felt. An knife stabbing into your eye deeply until you turn blind and your little finger being chopped off in a nanosecond. "He didn't stop there, no. He dragged the knife down to my neck, then pass my shoulders and right towards my hands, ending with him chopping off clean my finger." Marie visibly winched at this, her face scrunching up as she felt an oddly got bubbling feeling erupting in the pit of her stomach.

Chris continue as he let his hand down." I had other scars, but this one was the worst. It stood out visible ,so all eyes could be seen at what the damaged it had done on my face. The damage was done. It really did ruined my life. I lost an eye. I lost an finger, I lost my trust, and a reason to be alive. He took everything away from me, just when I thought that I could trust him for once. He made my life a living hell. But I got up and fought the pain, the pain he afflicted on me. For many years I fought, sometimes the urge to end everything increased an plussed painfully in my heart and my stomach. Finally, after some painful years of struggling and enduring it, that man died in the worst, cruelest way as possible."

"...But...how?" Marie couldn't help but mumble out as she stared at Chris who seemed blank and blunt, his fingers tracing the little carved details of the wooden bench as the tight lip smile was still on his face. He sigh as he lifted his head to look at her in the eye, his eyes looking lost within his thoughts. He spoke out, seemingly lost in another reality.

"Do you know what kind of being am I, dearie?"

Marie stayed silent, unsure of what he is. What was he, actually? An human? An robot looking human? A God? A King? A deal maker? What was he actually?
She didn't knew either. What could he possibly be? The history did said that he was a God, but the way he spoke to her said question made her think twice. He had a childhood. He was a human. Yet, now he dosent look human. He looks like some sort of a walking metal of hunk. But then again, he was a human. She was confused. Everything did not made any sense to her. How was he a God when in the beginning he was a human? That didn't made any sense at all.

"..I'm..not sure." Marie mumbled after some time of pondering silently, her words holding pure genuine confusion as she stared at him, her eyes holding sadness for the man. He may have spoken his past in a blunt, emotionless tone as if nothing back there ever mattered, or if he wasn't affected by said thing. But Marie, she knew when someone was hurt emotionally, not physically. She knew the look in his eyes. The thunder storm in his eyes said it all. It looked like he never did had a good past. Never looked like he enjoyed his life pretty much back in those days.

Was it that because he's always happy, childish and goofy at time to time? When they meet him first? When he showed up and beamed at everyone like he wasn't trespassing someone else kingdom? When he always seemed entertained and bored out, until he would poke around and annoy Shaera to her limits? When he would play and get along with August annoying pranks and comments? When he would always behave like a child whose curious of everything and everyone? Was that it, the reason of his giddy, hyper like behavior?

Maybe it was. Maybe it wasn't. But she wasn't going to ask so soon. Not yet. She feels as that she shouldn't ask right now. It feels not like the correct time yet.

Chris only smiled sadly, his yellow eyes staring into hers as he sat there, breathing softly. The rays of the sun finally peaked out from the multiple trees which was surrounding the palace, engulfing them into a bunch of light coloured orange rays as it beamed from the sky. Marie felt her face heat up once the morning sunlight hit her cheeks, her entire body feeling warm from the touch of the morning glow. Chris chuckled sadly and a grin made its way to his face, his eyes wrinkling on the sides. Suddenly, he didn't seemed so young. He suddenly seemed so old and fragile.

"I'm not sure aswell darling."

From that sad, depressed grin, it slowly rose and stretched out into a crocked, sadistic like grin as it stretched all over his face. The light blinded almost half of her vision, but she did saw the horrifying grin which spread inhumanly across his face as it brought a chill to run up her spine, her hair behind her neck standing straight up as he mind ran around screaming that danger was infront of her, even thought it was Chris who was infront of her. Why did her mind keep replaying a weird, disturbing image of him being half blind, blood oozing out of his mouth as he grinned with a red, dark blooded teeth? His one left eye was swollen white while the other eyes pupil looked like something was stabbed continuously inside of it until the pupil looked like it didn't exist there. Why did she kept seeing that one image? That same horrifying image flashed in her mind, blinding her for some seconds. A voice suddenly spoke out once again, which brought a string of chills down her spine, even thought the morning was warm and dampy.

"I could never kክዐ᭙."

Something about what he said, really did sounded concerning and dark. The way he smiled at her wasn't innocent anymore. No, it looked like it belonged to a heartless, sadistic killer who held the look off madness and craze in his eyes. The image finally disappear and stopped repeating, the horrible flashings stopped flashing across in her head, which caused her to quickly lean down on the bench and pant out. Tired. She felt weak and tired. Drained out aswell.

What was that about?

Marie tried to get her head back to reality while Chris kept blinking owlishly in slow motion, as if he's trying to figure what happened just a few seconds ago with a tight confused smile.

Like he finally found the signal which connects to him and the reality of the world he is in, Chris famous goofy, childish smile whipped clean of that puzzled and owlishly looking face as he turned to glare right into the sun, him hissing from the sudden bright contact his eyes made with the ball of fury. Marie didn't respond as he began ranting about how the Sun was made and what kind of command / magic spell he used to create such glorious star for it to shine apon their planet as he made little signs with his hands and wiggled his fingers. He didn't seemed like he noticed Marie looking all worn and tired out as he quickly gave her a glance at pointed up again to the sun with a growing, childlike smile as he spoke facts about it.

She opened her mouth to apologize, to say anything about his past. Sorry? I'm so sorry? I'm sorry that I asked about it? But no,she couldn't. Her tongue got caught on her dried throat as she swallowed her saliva slowly, her eyes seemingly lost as she stared at the jolting, happy looking figure who sat beside her a few minutes ago looking dead now looking like he was revived yet again to life.

Those words, why was it so haunting to her? Why did it sounded so... terrifying?

Maybe the fact that he himself didn't knew what he was terrified her. What did he meant that the man died horribly? Who made that possible? How was that possible? And what actually was he? So many of unanswered questions, but she couldn't pry open her mouth and start speaking. Her voice was choking in her throat, an invisible barrier stopping her from speaking. Was she nervous? Scared? Disturbed? Yes she was. The picture she saw flashing across her mind might not leave her for a few years.

She really didn't knew either. Well, looks like she's going to ponder wordlessly in her mind about it while trying not to have nightmares in the night. Great.

Just great.

Marie continue to stare while nodding silently as Chris turned to face her with his big toothy like grin while his eyes glisten in the sun rays of the fresh morning. She could only ponder silently, did the flashing image and his wicked grin didn't exist? Was she just dreaming about it? Did it even happened in the first place?

Again, so many of unanswered questions for her to think about it. Even though she knows that she'll never get a answer for it soon.

ᦓᥴꫀꪀᥴꫀ 2 : The Living Room

Yesterday morning felt like a fever dream.

Her having a conversation with Chris as they sat together on the same bench while watching the sun set high. Feeling the breeze across their skin. Yes, all off that felt like it was some sort of disturbing, horror yet a peaceful fever dream she just experience in 4k.

She remembered what happened yesterday, but for some reason, her memory projects said memory of yesterday morning in a blurry, dreamy like scene. Her head wobbling as their voices sounding hauntingly beautiful as it echoed in her mind as the memory replays it. Like a foreign, lost memory.

It was weird, really.

After said incident, Chris left because he apparently needed to busy himself with his own duties. After that, the full day she hasn't seen him.

Speaking of which, now she was making her way to find her best friends to spend some time together with each other. She found them, apparently. They were sitting with Shaera and August in the huge cozy lit living room , Chris being there to as he chatted alongside with the both. Shaera grumbled while crossing her hands across her chest while glaring daggers at the floor while Chris and August barked a laugh at a joke they made together. Clearly it didn't seemed like she liked being together with the two boys. Apparently, it made her feel loney for once.

Shaera huffed as she pushed a stray of hair away from her face as she turned to face the both, her eyes for a split second landing on a figure who stood idly by the wall as they peaked their head over it infront of her. Shaera blinked for a minute then slowly turn her head to face the figure, finding out it was Marie who was in her pyjamas, grinning nervously at Shaera as she pointed at the empty spot beside her.

Shaera silently called the nervous brunette over to her side, where she sat on the long cozy couch while clutching on her nightgown, her eyes landing on the two males who stopped laughing and turned to greet her.

"Greetings, you're great and glorious Highness!" August called out to her with a smug smile as he plucked in - like oh my god - another blueberry into his mouth with a sly smirk on his face, using Chris choice of words as he tried to sound more like him. Chris only pretended to ignore them as he stared holes into a book which was currently seated on his lap, his eyes squinting to read the tiny words which were written on the pages of said book. "How's life treatin' ya?" He proceeded to lean on the couches arm as he stared at her with half lidded eyes, while Shaera scrunched up her nose in disgust.

"Shut up August." Shaera snapped at him, knowing that he's just purposely trying to make Marie to get mad or to probably get uncomfortable with said question and said mockery. "You know how it is. It's stressful, irritating and hard because it is new to her, all of this, and also, because of You!" She pointed her finger at him accusingly which made August to let out a fake hurt gasp, his free hand going over to clutch his chest like he was been stabbed there multiple times by a friend of a betrayer.

Marie ignored both of them, but she did gave out a little giggle as she tried to cover up her amusement from the both. "It's okay Shaera, relax. And to you, August, yeah..uhm.." She hesitate for a minute until she spoke," ..Yeah, things been pretty hard for me. But I'm sure I'm fine, as long as you guys are here!"

"And I'm happy to help."

Shaera growled slightly at the response August gave, which he was quick to shoot her a what did I do kind of look at her while having his eyebrows raised. Chris finally decided to stop being the third wheel as he cleared his throat, catching the two girls off guard once his static voice suddenly rang out in the almost dark littled cozy living room. He closed the book in an blink of an eye and he sat it on the circular coffee table not to far away from them, being careful not to knock down the empty cups which sat on it as gently as he could at the current moment.

"I have an announcement to make!"

"Such as what?" August quickly shoot him said question as he raised his eyebrows at him, curious at what he had to say. Shaera snapped to face Chris with a suspicious glare while Marie - for the first time after coming into the room, turning to look at him with a curious glint in her eyes as she made eye contact for a moment with the chipper man. He grin at her, obviously not fazed with the sudden question as he folded his hands together, sitting back as he gazed at them with a calm, giddy look on his face.

"As if you all already know, we are leaving tomorrow."

Oh yes, tomorrow. Marie recalled the conversation they had which was according to then leaving the castle and going to her parents training tiny little houses a few hours away from the castle. They had said conversation a few days ago, in the living room at the same hour of the night, sitting in the same position as they were before.

The three hummed to themselves as they nodded their head, Chris eyes litting up in excitement as he scrambled to lean forward of all of a sudden, his hands clasp against together as he sat there like they were going to have an very important / serious talk or lecture. He gave them a side eye stare as he glance between the three, then staring into their soul as if whatever he was about to say held so much of importance to him which also could be important to them.

"As you know, we three are going to be making our way to said place by 8 am in the morning, all in the same carriage. No one will be separated. Im very much aware that all of you have already been informed, but I do have to say something else."

Marie leaned forward, her eyes not leaving Chris as she stared at him in wide eyes. What could he possibly want to say? He's making it sound as if whatever he's about to say will also be tagging along with them-

"I'll be bringing a friend along our journey!"

..What?

"Excuse me?!"

"Woah!"

"Huh?"

All three had different reactions. Shaera hollered at the man as she stood up, shrieking at him like the world was about the end. August only let out an amazed and awesome like- COOL -  as he leaned backwards excitedly while Marie, who still couldn't process said words went - huh? As she sat there dumfounded. Chris took in all of their reactions as he nodded his head aggressively, seemingly excited of the news he just shared.

"Yes, yes! My Friend will be tagging along with our little journey-"

"Who said you can bring someone else into this?!" Shaera cut him off as she screamed at him, her eyes glaring in his soul as Chris snapped to face her with a owlish puzzled look on his face, surprised by the sudden interruption. "You certainly can't! We already have enough on our plate and now you wanna drag someone else into this mess?! Oh hell nah!"

Marie quickly gripped onto her friends wrist before she could advance her way to Chris to give him a piece of her mind. She gripped onto her friends wrist which made her friend to snap of out her anger, her head turning to face her friend who looked at her with pleading eyes.
"Please Shaera, calm down. Let Chris explain himself. Im sure he would!"

Chris nodded at their direction, his hands going up to adjust his bowtie with a cheeky grin on his face. Shaera glared at him but slowly lowered herself down to the couch beside Marie, grumbling under her breath. August shrugged as he plopped another blueberry in his mouth, seemingly bored again.

"Thank you for letting me to explain myself!" Chris thanked Marie a little to formally, which she gave him a nervous smile in return. He cleared his throat as he began explaining again, his hands flying up into the air above his head dramatically as he explained. "My dear friend will not cause any trouble. In fact, she'll most likely stay away from danger and not bother all of you. I'm only tagging her along just because she's alone and I just know that she dreadfully needs me at the moment! Why, sheer absolute boredom!" He barked out a laugh for a second then continued. " We haven't seen each other for quite some time, and I'm sure she wants to see me and meet new friends such as you fellow gentleman and you're highnesses!  I can't leave to be with her because of said deal." He stopped talking and stared at Shaera and Marie with half lidded eyes.

"Why I'm saying this, it is because I do not want all of you to freak out tomorrow when I introduce her to all of you! Hence, I said this right now at this moment. Apologies if I had said something which might had sound something wrong or something to weight you down more. That's non of my intentions!" And he threw his hands above his head with a big goofy grin as a sound record played out from his lightbulb as some invisible audience were clapping, as if he was preforming in a show. The sound lingered around for a while, the echo making the silence seemed painfully long.

"That's cool." August was the first one to break said silence as he leaned against the couch. "Also, why can't we see them now? Wouldn't it be nice if they would to come today so that we could atleast take some time to know em?"

Chris thought for a moment, his smile not wavering as he sat there in silence for some good ol seconds. After a while, he snapped his fingers as if he finally remembered what he was brainstorming for.
"Ofcrouse! I'll bring her here at this very moment!"

Shaera opened her mouth to spit out a question like a bullet but Chris beat it to her as he snapped his bony fingers together. A sudden burst of purple clouds and mist
erupt from the wooden floor infront of the cozy lit furnace, causing all of their attention to be turned to said purple cloud while Marie's eyes stared at it in awe, her eyes being wide open all the time.

She watched as the smoke cleared, and someone stood there on the center, couching their throat out as if their life depended on it. Their voice sounded strangely hoarse but there was a hint of feminine on it. The said figure waved their arms infront of them aggressively, clearing the smoke so that they could see properly.

"What the he-"

Said person coughed one more time, their one eye being closed shut while the other roamed over the living room as their eyes widen in confusion and panic. She quickly pointed a finger at August who seemed to want to get up to meet said person more closer and started screaming at him.

"DONT YOU DARE COME ANY F*CKING CLOSER!"

Marie took in the girls details. As said before, her voice sounded a bit hoarse but also feminine, sounding deep but high pitched. Odd really. She had a pair of...wolf ears? On her head and a wolf tail which wagged around aggressively behind her back, her wolf ears and tail being the colour of chocolate brown. Her hair was cut into a short, bob cut which looked extremely fluffy and the colour of her hair was a dark, pitch black. Her eyes were sharp, glaring looking type as her eyebrows raised down to make a look of I don't take anger very easily, mess with me I'll send you to hell kind of look. She had white medium whiskers on her cheeks, a weird looking scraf covering her neck almost fully and a lose, grey looking gown which hung on her figure loosely. She wore some bracelets on her arms which goes by the colour of dark pink, light pink, light blue and dark blue. She had long, hellish claws on her fingers, making her look like a real wolf.

She bare them her sharp fangs at them as she hissed at them, looking at the three widely like she had just seen a ghost. "Where the hell am I?! Who are you people?!"

"Calm done dearie, we do not want you having a heart attack now do we?" Chris chuckled as he was suddenly right beside the girl, causing her to let out a surprised yelp, her claw's going to scratch on Chris face. But he immediately took ahold of her wrist before it could make contact with his face, him all the while smiling smugly at her from his height. Said girl didn't like this as she snatched her hand away from Chris, her panic look immediately being replaced with an annoyed and irritated look as she huffed at him.

"Ugh, it's you again."

"Happy to see you too, my dear!"

"Shut up." The girl immediately shoot back as she pinched the bridge of her nose, looking irritated beyond belief. She scrunched up her face as she took in deep breaths. "Chris, what the f*ck was that about?"

"About what?"

"You know about what!" The girl snapped at him, her eyes glaring daggers into his soul as she stared up at the taller man who towered over her frame. "Why am I here again?! Who are these peoples. Whatever nonsense you have to do with them I'm not joining in it with you're ass!"

"Sad." Chris made a popping sound with his lips as he smacked them together, teasing the shorter girl as she got even more pissed.
"But you have no other choice, since tomorrow you're already on this little journey of ours , I wanted you to meet the crew before we move forward more!"

She stared at Chris, dumfounded for a minute until he turned to face the three who was silent all the while, gawking at the scene infront of them. "Now everyone! I want you to meet my dear friend Frisk! She's the friend I've been talking about!"
He took ahold of Frisk's shoulders and shock her violently back to reality, her eyes almost budging off the sockets as she screamed at him to let her go. He ignores her as he continued-" She will be joining in our journey tomorrow at sunrise!"

They obviously seems close..

"Yo dude. My name's Augustine, but everyone just calls me August. Nice to meet ya." He popped up from the couch as he extended an arm to shake hands together. Frisk only stared at it dumfounded for some seconds as she reached out to shake hands together, then retreating her hand again to her chest as she stared blankly at the ground, seemingly trying to process everything what's happening at the moment. Chris chripped as he strode to away from them, turning to face the three as he was just about to exit the living room.

"Now, don't worry Frisk darling! I'll fill you in next morning, be sure to be ready before 8 am! Oh and also-" He turned to glance at Marie with the same grin on his face. "- Marie, my dear, would you care to call my name once you're done chatting along with her? I'll take her to her room if it is!"

"Sure." Marie shrugged with a small smile on her lips, still being surprised at the sudden new face they've seen which appeared out of thin air. Chris grin grew larger as he nodded at her direction, then teleported himself to somewhere else in the castle. Shaera just stared at Frisk, not knowing what to say. Frisk suddenly snapped out of her daze and she suddenly screeched at the top of her lungs.

"CHRIS YOU F*CKING BASTARD GET YOUR MOTHERF*CKING SKINNY ASS BACK HERE BEFORE I-"

Needless to say, Chris teleported himself into the room in an blink of an eye before Frisk can finish her sentence of furry, looking alarmed and surprised as he cracked his neck to scan the room.

"Wh-"

"ILL K!LL YOU YOU B!TCH FOR DRAGGING ME INTO THIS SH-"
