"so how are you feeling?" elijah demanded, smiling at his sister as she continued to get ready.
"im super excited and stressed at the same time", she laughed nervously while looking at her brother through her screen. unfortunately he wasn't able to free himself up to come see her at taylor's concert.
"can you imagine telling alyana from sixteen and that you're going to be performing taylor swift's first part?" elijah laughed softly. "she wouldn't have believed us!" added the young woman, smiling.
taylor swift has always been her role model, both musically and humanly speaking. it was a waking dream, she sometimes pinched herself to make sure she wasn't dreaming.
"promise me you'll enjoy it to the fullest," demanded the young man, watching his sister continue to get ready.
"you didn't even need to ask me," exclaimed the young woman, rolling her eyes. "of course im going to enjoy it!"
elijah smiled, shaking his head gently, seeing at this moment he felt pride rising within him. he loved his sister more than anything and was grateful to be so close to her, he was so proud of her and her journey.
"alyana, you're coming in in ten minutes!" cried a voice from behind the door. alyana stopped, opening her eyes wide, making her brother laugh. "damn elijah this is real."
