I sighed as I packed the diaper bag and picked up Willow as acelyn had Mila on her hip and kaia was putting on her shoes
Today was the girls doctor's appointment and then we were gonna go to Claudias baby shower to see what she was having
Acelyn: okay everyone ready to go
Kaia: I'm ready mama
Billie: okay let's go baby
I say chuckling and we all walk out of the house locking the door and getting in the car then driving to our destination
Once we got to the doctors we walked inside I sighed all the girls in and then we waited for the doctor to call us back
Each of the girls go back at once and either me or acelyn go with them and today they are getting vaccines
" Kaia Campbell the doctor is ready for you"
Acelyn: I'll go with her
I nodded my head and acelyn took kaias hand and walked back to the office with the nurse
After 30 minutes they came back out and kaia is smiling holding a lollipop with a bandaid on her arm
Kaia: look mommy they gave me candy and I didn't cry
Billie: wow baby you're so brave I'm so proud of you
She giggles and gives me a hug I smile and hugged her back kissing her head then it was Milas turn to go back
Billie: I'll go with Mila
I go back to the office and hold Mila on my lap until the doctor comes back
Doctor: hello how are you today
Billie: I'm good yourself
Doctor: I'm good thanks for asking so we ran a couple of tests on Mila here and we are worried about something
Billie: what is it
Doctor: it says here on her charts she's two years old
Billie: yes she is she's turning three soon
Doctor: how is her speech coming along is she talking or saying sentences
Billie; no actually she just squeals and babbles to us but that's about it she hasn't started talking yet
Doctor: her speech is a bit delayed we recommend that you see a speech therapist for her a speech and other than she's healthy and happy now it's time for the vaccine
I hold Mila down as the doctor gives her the shot and she cried loudly I quickly picked her up to comfort her
Billie: it's okay bubba mommy has you
Doctor: here you go Mila you did such a good job
He says handing her a piece of candy smiling Mila gave him a weak smile and cuddled into me I thanked the doctor then walked out of the office
Then it was willows turn and after she was done we got the girls something to eat and then drove over to Claudias and finneas house for the baby shower
Once we got there we said hi and gave Claudia her gift for the baby and one for herself
Maggie: another grandbaby I'm so excited Billie are you gonna have another baby
Billie: oh my goodness mom No I already have three I think that's enough
Kaia: grandma willow is still a baby
Maggie: that she is sweetheart hi baby you talking yeah
She says talking to willow who was babbling at her trying to talk back acelyn smiled at the interaction and then finneas and Claudia came out in the backyard
Finneas: okay are you guys ready
Maggie: yes we are ready
She says cheering I chuckled and Claudia grabbed the balloon from Zoe and we all walked over to a spot in the backyard
Finneas: okay 3...2..1 pop it baby
They both popped it at the same time and pink confetti flew everywhere
Claudia: IT'S A GIRL
Finneas picks up Claudia and spins her around happily I smiled too feeling Happy for the both of them they are gonna be great parents
After awhile we eat dinner and then said our goodbyes and started to drive home
Acelyn: I'm really happy for them they are gonna be amazing parents
Billie: yes they are I'm happy for them two
Acelyn: you wanna stop at Taco Bell before we head home
Billie: we already ate babe
I say laughing and she laughed too and shook her head
Acelyn: hey babe can I talk to you about something
Billie: yea you can honey
Acelyn: well I was wondering if you and the girls would like to meet my family I'm supposed to be visiting them next week and they want to meet you guys
Billie: of course I would love to meet your family baby and I'm sure the girls would too
Acelyn: that's great we gotta leave next week tho that's when I'm supposed to get the tickets
Billie: okayy family vacation time
I say happily she chuckled and held my hand looking at me smiling and I smiled back
Acelyn: I love you so much
Billie: and I love you so much more
We smiled and shared a kiss before putting away and driving home well after we stopped at Taco Bell
Once we got home we got the girls in bed and then went downstairs and cuddled up with each other watching a movie happy to be with each other
