It's already 2nd week of July I'm still bored. Ganito lagi ang routine ko, pagkagising ko kakain tas babalik sa kwarto magbabasa ng book then I'll be taking my lunch sometime nasa garden ako.
My life is boring.
"Why don't you paint? Or taking photography outside?" Pati si mommy napapansin ang kaboringan ko.
I can do photography pero mag isa padin ako. I decided to go outside, kinuha ko ang camera ko my feet take me somewhere that I knew.
Nag alangan akong mag doorbell sa gate nila, is he here? What if Wala siya? Ugh! I tap the button on the side of the gate.
Medyo lumayo ako sa gate. Minutes past the half of the gate open. Okay lang para makita ang mukha ko, there's a maid.
"Sino ho sila?" The maid ask.
Bigla tuloy akong nahiya, kung bakit kasi pumunta ako dito?
"Uhm... I'm Zeyn.. I-is Shadrach h-here?" Yumuko ako.
"Uh, bagong babai na naman? Oo andito siya." Whay she mean bagong babai? Is Shadrach always bring girls here? "Tawagin ko lang, anong pangalan mo? Zeyn?" Why she's seem so angry?
Tumalikod na siya saakin. I waited 'til Shadrach came and totally open the gate.
"Hey, you're here?" Obviously.
"U-uh, yeah. I'm bored at home t-that's why."
"Come here, let's go inside." And he take my hand. Tama kaya tong ginagawa ko? Hindi ba to nakakahiya?
Their house is huge, we have a huge house too but theirs is different. It's painted black gray and white theme. Even the furnitures.
"Upo ka." Dahan dahan akong umupo sa sofa. He's only wearing a black short and plain white shirt. "So who brought you here? Miss me?" He chuckled.
"I-i don't know?"
"So, it's either you miss or not?" He smirked.
What?
"N-no, I mean.. u-uh. I'm just bored that's why I'm here." You need to be clear kasi zeyn masyado kang halata e.
He slowly nodded but his smile was still there. "Right, so what will we do now?"
Napapaisip ako sa sinabi ng Maid niya kanina. Does he mind if I ask him?
"Uhm, do you usually bring girls here? I mean... Friends or girl.... Friend..?"
He laughed. "I don't usually bring girls here, Sila ang pumupunta dito. Pinapasok ko lang then and asked them what's brings them here tsaka ko papalayasin."
Does he mean, papalayasin niya din ako especially my reason is stupid. Oh god! Kung bakit kasi naisipan ko pang pumunta dito it's disgusting!
"I-im sorry... U-uuwi na lang ako. Sorry for the time you waisted." Tumayo ako pero pinigilan niya ako.
"No, I'm not waisting my time. It's okay that you're here and you're always welcome here, sorry kung iba ang pagkakaintindi mo."
"U-uh, hindi ba nakakahiya?"
"Don't be shy, I'm your friend." Tumayo siya. "You brought your camera? Why don't we do photography para naman may magawa tayo."
I handed my camera to him. "Where we gonna it?" I asked.
Ngumiti siya. "I knew place where we can do it." He take my hand at hinila ako. Pinagbuksan niya ako ng pinto ng kotse niya.
"Where we going?"
"Somewhere that I knew? I know you'll love it."
He drove somewhere that I am not familiar, it's 3 in the afternoon, marami kahoy at mountainous kaming nadaanan. It feels like we're having a nature's trip.
"Thia is amazing!" I exclaimed. Nasa tuktok kami ng mga bundok habang nag jo-joy ride. Gumaan ang pakiramdam ko.
Exactly 4:30 we stop driving, he parked and we went out. We're on a top of a mountain. Napatitig ako sa araw na nagiging sunset na my heart felt so.. I can't explain it ang sarap sa pakiramdam.
"Smile!" Aniya sabay pitik ng camera.
"Buti alam mo dito?" Linatag niya ang jacket niya sa damuhan at sabay kaming umupo doon. We're facing the sunset.
"Yeah, this is we called the Apao rolling hills. You like it?"
"Very much. This place is amazing! Gumaan ang pakiramdam ko. Thank you for taking me here, Shadrach."
At ayun na naman yung ngiti niyang hindi ko ma explain. "You're smiling too much."
"If you knew where this smile coming from."
"Nevermind, basta ang ganda dito. Can we go here sometimes?" Ayan kana naman zeyn.
"Sure! If you want we can go here every sunset we can also set a camping here. Tent tayo ganun, bring foods drinks and your camera."
"Overnight ganun?" I asked. That's not a good idea id he said yes.
"Yeah."
"Uh, I want that but my parents baka ayaw nila akong payagan."
He look up like his thinking. "Well, I can go to your house at ipagpapaalam kita. No worries your brother is my friend I can tell him."
Huh! No. My god ayoko! That's not a good idea.
"My god no! That's not a good idea. Malilintikan ako Kay kuya I swear. Ako na ang magpapaalam kina mommy, can I?" Why am I so worried akala mo naman talagang matutuloy.
"I can do it, I am the man I'll asked your family to go with me." Oh this man!
"Hindi ka natatakot?" May mga lalaki kasi ngayon na takot na harapin ang pamilya ng babai, but.. what I am thinking about this? Ipagpapaalam niya lang àko as a friend I don't need to think much about it.
"Why would I?"
Umiling iling ako. I think I can't fight with him, I don't wanna argue If he wants then let him.
The time passed by hindi namin namalayan na gumagabi na. The mountainous that we are have a Christmas lights sa mga bakod na nakapalibot sa paligid sa mga maliliit na puno.
"This is my first time going this such place."
"I'll show you more." Ngiti niya.
"It's late, I need to go home."
Tumango siya at inalalayan akong tumayo. "Let's go."
While he's driving my mom called bigla akong kinabahan. Hindi ako nagpaalam and it's 7 in the evening. "M-mom?"
"Zeilla Yenery Bazovilla! Where are you?!" It's shout from the other line, my kuya. He's mad I knew it.
"U-uhm, uuwi na ako." Utal kong Sabi, I don't want that kind of tone of him.
"I'm asking you, where are you?" How to say it?
"Zerl! Don't shout tinatakot mo yang kapatid mo." It's mom.
Shadrach stared at me. Napansin niya sigurung I was nervous. He stop driving at inagaw ang phone ko.
"Tita?" Pinilit Kong agawin sakanya but he refused. "Uh, oh zerl... Don't worry your sister is with me pinasyal ko lang... Okay, we're going home now. I'll send her to your house don't worry she's safe with me.... Okay. Bye dude." And he handed me my phone.
"What did he say?" I panicked.
"Shh, it's okay now. Don't think too much." He held my hand before he continue to drive.
After an hour nakarating kami sa bahay. Akala ko ay uuwi na siya pero sinamahan pa ako sa loob. Siya ang humarap sa pamilya kong naghihintay sa sala.
"Good evening po sir, ma'am. I'm sorry for the action I made hindi ko po naipagpaalam si zeyn to take somewhere." Ako dito parang mamatay na sa kaba habang siya parang ang kalma lang.
"Naku, hindi kasi siya nagpaalam Ijho. Thank you for sending her here. Next time magpaalaam kayo ah? I don't know that she has a friend." Si mommy yung ngiti iba.
"Shad, you should called me. And Zeyn, you should called me too mahirap bang tawagan kami kung nasaan ka?" Oh galit talaga ang kuya.
"I'm sorry." Yuko ko. Pinaupo niya ako sa tabi niya while Shadrach still standing. "Upo ka." Tinuro ko ang kabilang sofa.
Umupo nga siya. "By the way, I'm Shadrach Marckeus Tollarez. Ma'am, sir. I also live here in this subdivision."
"Nice to meet you Ijho, sa susunod ah? Magpaalam kayo.". It's daddy.
"Don't worry sir, ako po ang pupunta dito para ipagpaalam si zeyn. "
"Dude, stop calling them sir and ma'am. Just tito and Tita."
"Right, dude." Close talaga sila ni kuya?
"So, it's late. Dito kana mag dinner Ijho." Daddy present the dining area for us to eat.
Marami silang pinag usapan sa hapag iba-iba 'till went to studies and business.
"I want to build my construction firm after my studies tito." Shadrach answer matapos tanungin ni daddy kung anong balak niya sa future. "I can also invest in our company. I want business too, tito well my dad want me to go over him after my studies but I have my own dream that I want to built."
"That's good to hear."
The dinner done at okay ang lahat. Hinatid ko siya sa labas ng gate.
"Thank you." Sambit ko. He save me today and he made me happy today.
"No, thank you. Thanks for coming with me you trusted me tho we're not that very close. I enjoy your company zeyn." Ay pak!
"Me too. Sige na it's late, keep safe."
Tumango siya at nilabas ng cellphone niya. "Can I get your number? To text you.. call.. if you want."
Okay, we are upgrading. Kuhaan na ng number.
"S-sure.." I type mu number on his phone.
"I'll be naming your contact to.... Yenery."
Huh?
"That's my second name." I said.
"Yeah, ang cute Kasi."
The question is how did he know? I never mentioned him about my real name.
"How did you know?"
Napakamot siya. "Secret, I just know."
"Ow-kay? So... Bye! Ingat ka."
"Bye, goodnight zeyn. I'll text you when I get home."
