Tragedy of yesterday

falling in trance late at nights
blended by the darkest of the lights
breathing fire burning my throat
but that is not what the moment is about

past regrets hugging me tight
but its me who doesn't mind
alone but never by myself
its not mine whom I make use of this strength

no rights to open it up
consequences will make me drop
on the cold ill try to escape
leaving back all kind of traces

footprints on my back
getting off that track
crawling onto where it doesn't shine
if they knew I'm missing a spine

a doll with a soul
thrown into the wrong bowl
the truth still behind a curtain
a curtain do you hear Watson

Defenseless but no sign of fear
words are the only gear
dancing through vocals
not listening to the locals

I'm not sorry, I changed
