There's a pain in my heart
that writhes to come out
of the body that sit motionless
frozen to the place
rooted to the ground
not blinking, not moving
not showing any signs of life
Other than one or two occasional breaths
that ensures that the pain don't die.
There's a pain in my heart
That wants me to write
An attempt to escape the body
In the lonely hour
Screaming in the silence
Demolishing everything that's whole
Scattering the pieces over the floor
Scratching the walls of the confined room
Kicking the doors that stay shut
to breath in some air of hope.
There's a pain that's very much alive in the encased coffin.
