Midoriya prepared his fingers, " Smash! " before the ice could hit Midoriya, it was stopped by Midoriya snapping his fingers that destroyed the ice creating a powerful wind blast
Shoto glared at the male as he covered his face creating a ice barrier behind him, he ducked his head as the cold air went towards the crowd
" So cold! " Some exclaimed
" It's just wind. Why is it so cold? " another exclaimed
When the wind subsided Shoto glanced at Midoriya, " Just like I predicted. He'll counter my attack at all costs. "
" WOAH! Midoriya successfully defended Todoroki's ice attack. "
Shoto sent out another wave of ice as Midoriya prepares his fingers again
" Smash! " Midoriya yelled destroying the oncoming ice
" Midoriya blocked the attack again! "
" Todoroki's matches always ended so quickly so I couldn't glean much information. Information... " Midoriya sweated, " I have to find his weakness during this fight. The ice wall behind him must be the safety net he made to prevent getting knocked back. In that case, " Midoriya looked at his bruised fingers, " using my fingers was the right decision. Even if I sacrificed my entire arm and used Smash, he can probably deal with it all easily. " Midoriya's eyes narrowed thinking carefully, " I have to think. Figure out quickly, his weakness I have to figure this out within the next 6 attacks. "
Shoto exhaled, " You... " And the same thing happened

Shoto sprinted towards Midoriya creating an ice bridge, and just as Midoriya used his Smash on the ice, he leaped off of the ice
Midoriya backed away as Shoto slammed his hand to the ground ice covering his hand, he glanced at Midoriya and made the ice advance towards the male capturing his foot
" Oh, no, it's too close. " Midoriya gritted his teeth and used one for all to smash the ice creating an even larger wind blast
Shoto covered his face and once it subsided he removed his arm and looked back at Midoriya, " That was a lot more powerful than before. " Shoto said as Midoriya's eyes narrowed
" Keeping me away, right? " Shoto asked pushing the ice in front of him away as he stood up seeing Midoriya's entire arm injured
" He just doesn't have a powerful Quirk. His decision-making, adaptation, mobility... Everything about him is strong. " Midoriya said to himself
" He's already stronger than a normal pro hero. " A Pro said
Another Pro seemed to smile, " As expected from the son of the number two pro hero. "
" You've wrecked your body just by defending. " Shoto said
Midoriya looked at Todoroki and noticed something, " He's trembling. I see now. Damn it. "
" Forgive me. " Shoto apologized as he looked upwards, " but I must thank you, Midoriya. Thanks to you, he's sulking even more now. " Shoto said finding some amusement at his father sulking but it disappeared once he found her worried
" Look at your hands. Your fight looks to be over. " Shoto said
" Time to end this. " Shoto declared sending ice towards Midoriya
" In overwhelming fashion, Todoroki continues his attack. This must be his final ice attack. "
Midoriya snapped his head upwards, " You need to check your eyesight. " Shoto looked surprised as Midoriya destroyed the ice attack again launching him back, the attack even destroyed the ice that kept him flying off bounds, before he could entirely go out of bounds, he kneeled just in time as ice came out of his feet and stopped his momentum from flying off bounds
" You used your broken finger... " Shoto said he gritted his teeth as he stood up, " Why put yourself through this? "
" You're shaking, Todoroki. " Midoriya responded as Shoto's eyes narrowed, " After all, you're Quirk is a function of the body. Your body can only handle so much cold. But you can simply use the power of flame on your left side to solve this issue. Everyone takes this seriously and wants to win. We're all trying to reach our goal to be the champion. And you plan to win with just half your power. " Midoriya Gritted his teeth
" You barely tickled me. "
" Show me your true power! " Midoriya exclaimed
Shoto's look at Midoriya darkened, " Midoriya. What are you talking about? " Shoto spoke, " Use all of my power? " Shoto glared at Midoriya, " Did my crappy dad pay you to say this? " Shoto gritted his teeth as he sprinted forward at Midoriya with an angered expression, " You've made me angry. "
" His movement... it's slower now. "
" There's frost on his body. " Bakugo observed, " Unlike my explosion limit, it could be like the MP in a game. " Bakugo thought back at Shoto's battle with Sero, " Was that earlier attack his limit? "
" From close range, you won't be able to deal with it. " Shoto said to himself, " Once I lift my right foot... This guy. "
" Imagine... the microwave. " Midoriya muttered as Shoto held a surprised expression giving Midoriya enough time to charge One for All up, " No explosion. No... No... No explosion! "

And when he punched Shoto's stomach, Shoto managed to freeze one of Midoriya's arms before he got flung backwards
" For real? Midoriya gave a mean punch. " Present Mic said, nearly everyone looked surprised
" Wow. He actually punched Todoroki. " Someone from the crowd said
" Even so, it seems to have injured Midoriya more. " and with disbelief the person spoke again, " I can't believe he can still attack. "
And from the stands of the first years was Kohaku with a worried look with Monoma beside her
" He'll be alright. " Monoma reassured the female but it didn't ease her one bit, her husband was down there already tired from fighting
Shoto coughed as he stood up, " How? " Shoto sent ice towards Midoriya as Midoriya dodged it
" His ice attack is weaker. " Midoriya thought as Shoto sprinted towards him and made an ice path beneath the both of them, Midoriya created a small wind blast using his fingers which still managed to knock the both of them back
Cementos held onto his earpiece that enables him to talk to midnight, " Should I intervene, Midnight? " Cementos asked, " I think Midoriya thinks that Recovery Girl can always heal him back up, That's why he's being so reckless. " Both continued fighting knocking each other back but coming back to the middle to clash
" Due to adrenaline, he won't feel much pain, but with that kind of injury, he won't be able to recover in one go. Even if he wins this match, he won't be able to fight the next match. "
" I can't even make a fists anymore. " Midoriya said as he charged up one for all only on his thumb, using his mouth he yelled, " Smash! " unfortunately Shoto managed to make a wall behind him
" Why did you go to such lengths? " Shoto asked confused he watched as Midoriya sprinted toward him
" Because I can't let people down. I want to be. A super cool hero who saves people with a smile. That's who I want to be! " Midoriya exclaimed, Shoto's eyes narrowed his brows furrowing in anger
" Shoto. " he heard his mothers voice as his stomach was suddenly head butted by Midoriya's head
" That's why I'm giving it my all. " Midoriya said snapping his head towards his classmate, " We all are! " he looked at Shoto who had skidded to a stop
" Your past and your oath. I don't think I'll ever understand them. But... being the best without using your full power to prove your dad wrong? Are you freaking kidding me? "
Memories of his mother flashed in Shoto's mind, bad memories resurfaced
" Shut up. " Shoto spoke his right side getting encased in ice

A young Shoto watched his older siblings play with a ball from the balcony and he eventually saw his eldest brother falling to the floor laughing
And in the blink of an eye, his father held his hand as he took him away from the view of his siblings playing
" Don't look, Shoto. You don't belong to that world. " Enji said to the Young Shoto who had trouble keeping up with his pace
" Mom? I'm having weird thoughts. " Shoto spoke as he looked at his mother from the door of the kitchen
Rei held her phone, " I can't take it anymore. The more my children grow up, the more they look like him. " she stuttered, " Shoto... his left side... Sometimes I genuinely think it's hideous. I can't face him anymore. I can't. " Shoto cowered behind the door in shame

" Haku said as her mouth tilted down, " But I don't wanna force anyone to take on the role they never needed nor wished for. " Haku finished as she looked at Shoto who's face held a small smile, She looked confused
" From the moment I saw you, the moment when you first smiled at me, " Shoto said as he looked at her with a smile, " i knew at that moment my heart yearned for you. whether people like it or not, I know that we'll be together. " Shoto's face held a loving look that's directed to the female, " it would bring my heart and bring my soul joy if you decide to return my feelings for you. "
Haku looked at Shoto wide eyed as she felt tears prick at her eyes, when she suddenly felt herself getting hugged by the male
And after the hug both laughed as Haku wiped away the tears as Shoto continued to cling on to her
" I-I promise to be with you till the day I draw my last breath. " Haku said as she laughed with happy tears still coming out from her eyes
Shoto held her shoulders as he looked at her wet face from the tears, " We'll be together till the very end... " Shoto drawled out as he hugged her again
" I forget about that... "
" Your not bound by blood. You can be who you want to be. " and with that, Shoto's fire lit ablaze

" A heatwave? " Kinoko spoke
" It's hot! " Uraraka muttered sitting beside lida
From the 1B stands, Monoma smirked, " He used it. "
" He made him use his left side. Young Midoriya, were you trying... to save young Todoroki? " All Might thought
" C... Co.. " Reika trailed off as her eyes went towards a cow stuffed toy and her eyes immediately sparkled, " C..Cowy! " Kiriya and Kanata's eyes looked towards Reika's cow plushie and then the door opened to reveal Shoto with Haku beside him and him holding Nayumi
" Did- Did she just say her first word-? " Haku and Shoto muttered a look of shock present on their face sitting beside the two kids
" Yes- " Kanata and Kiriya muttered when Nayumi began to open and close their mouth repeatedly
" Pa- " They watched with anticipation as Nayumi giggled
" Pa..pa! " Nayumi exclaimed giggling and...
" Ma.. Ma! " Yui exclaimed giggling and he and Nayumi began repeating those two words
Kiriya looked to be panicking as he tried to calm down Kanata who's crying and Shoto and Haku hugging the triplets with tears coming out of their eyes
" Even though you wanted to win... " the ice on his side melted away, " Dammit... Then You're helping out an enemy? Who's the one being a fool now? " The fire in front Shoto disappeared as it went to his arm allowing Midoriya to see him
They were dropped off outside of the estate, Shoto opened the wooden gate and Haku went in, and they were greeted by the sight of The triplets running to them
Haku smiled and kneeled as the triplets hugged her
" Mama! Papa! " They all yelled synchronized, Shoto smiled from beside Haku and kneeled beside her
The triplets noticed as they all smile brighter, Haku and Shoto swore that it's the cutest thing they saw this year, Yui brung their necks closer which made a thump noise
Shoto and Haku chuckled as they hugged them back
Shoto smile slowly turned into a small smirk as he suddenly carried The triplets in his arms and stood up which made them all laugh, Haku laughed and stood up
" I too want to be a hero! "
Endeavor had a huge smile eched onto his face, he walked towards the railings, " Shoto! You've finally accepted your true power. Yes. that's right. From now onwards, inherit my blood and surpass me. You will realize my ambition. " Endeavor yelled
" Mr. Endeavor, are you suddenly sending encouragement? " Presnet Mic muttered, " You must be a proud father. "
" Why are you smiling? You have wounds everywhere and you're still stuck in this situation. You're out of your mind. " Shoto looked towards Midoriya, " I'm warning you. I don't care what happens. " Shoto slammed his right foot onto the ground and ice came, his hair flying from the power being released on both sides
Midoriya charged up one for all throughout his entire body, his pe unifrom getting damaged in the process
" Midnight! " Cementos yelled, he slammed his hands to the concrete structure he made as it rushed towards the two, " if this continues...
" his body will not be able to take it. " Midnight exclaimed as she broke a piece of clothing on her arm and out came pink smoke
Shoto sended a large amount of Ice towards Midoriya who jumped forward to avoid the attack
" Get as close as I can to him. I'II use everything so show me what your capable of. "
Midoriya yelled to himself
Shoto charged up a move and that move destroyed the ice, he lifted his arm up
" Midoriya. Thank you. " their attacks clashed with Cementos concrete barriers making a large shock wave, it launched Midnight back, as several students and spectators hanged onto one another for dear life
" What the heck is this? " Monoma yelled hanging onto Kohaku who remained standing a worried look on the woman's face
" Seriously? " Kaminari exclaimed
" What's happening? " Momo exclaimed
From outside Kamui and another pro looked extremely surprised
" Bigger isn't always better. " Cementos muttered as he looked around, " But that was amazing. "
Present Mic groaned as he fell off his chair, " What on earth? What's wrong with your class? " Present Mic groggily asked Aizawa
" The cool air was heated instantly, so it expanded. " Aizawa responded
Present Mic sat upright, " So that explains the shock wave? How high was the temperature? I can't see anything. "
" So what's the result? " Present Mic asked Midnight who stood up and scratched her head, everyones heads perked up when they saw Midoriya on the wall and the latter slowly fell
" Midoriya. Out. " Midnight huffed, Shoto breathed heavily half of his PE uniform gone
Shoto's eyes were narrowed as he looked at Midoriya's body, Midnight snapped her whip to Todoroki
" Todoroki moves on to the semifinal! " Midnight exclaimed everyone in the crowd cheered loudly
Shoto walked back to the end of his tunnel and he found his 'father'
" You're in the way. Are you not going to say that? " Endeavor said with his arms crossed and a smirk plastered on his face
" You're not controlling your left side. You're going all out, and it's dangerous. You threw away your childish tantrums, and now you've become the perfect improvement of myself. " Endeavor said as he held his hand out, " come to me after you graduate. I'll let you walk down the road of the mighty. "
" There's no way I can throw it away. Things can't be undone that easily. It's just... that time... that one moment... I forgot about you. " Shoto said as he lifted his left hand up and closed his fist
Endeavor's eyes narrowed in bewilderment, " Whether that's good or bad, right or not... I'm going to think about it a little. " Shoto spoke walking past his father
Shoto turned to the other hallway and after a few minutes he found Kohaku in the middle of the dark hallway a worried look on her face
" Haku... " Shoto uttered, Haku sniffled and hugged Shoto
" Damn you- " Shoto just patted Haku's hair who began to berate him, he knew she was just worried for him so he did nothing but pat the woman's head
" I still need to change you know. " Shoto said immediately making Haku back up a blush on her face, Shoto walked to the changing room and got a spare PE uniform top
" What? Are you gonna keep watching me? " Shoto said glancing at the female who had her head looking at the wall
" Shut up... " Haku uttered a faint blush still on her face
" Your should go to the tunnel now. " Shoto said looking at the TV in the changing room that announced his classmate, lida Tenya's win against Shiozaki from her class
" Your match is next. " Shoto said, Haku immediately straightened up
" Oh, I forgot. " Haku said rubbing the back of her head, she grabbed the handle of the door and turned the knob, " Let's meet after the mat- "
Shoto cut her off by pinning her to the back of the door
" Eh-?! What are you doing?! " Haku exclaimed surprised at what Shoto did
" You still have roughly 5 minutes left. We have enough time. " Shoto spoke making Haku flush a deep red hue on her face
" Third Match of the Quarter finals, Both students are from the heroics course. From the Heroics Department of Class 1b, Ubuyashiki Kohaku. " Present Mic yelled as Kohaku walked onto the stage with a smile on her face
" Also from the Heroics department, Tokoyami Fumikage from Class 1A. "
Present Mic announced, both students looked at each other
" Well let's not keep everybody waiting, START! "
" Dark Shadow! " Tokoyami yelled, dark shadow came out of his stomach speeding towards Kohaku
" RIGHT! " Dark Shadow yelled coming closer to Kohaku, Kohaku jumped out of the way, above Tokoyami
" OOH! FROM ABOVE?! " Present mic yelled, Dark Shadow threw its hand to catch Kohaku who dodged him again
" She dodged again! " Kohaku brought out her Katana and muttered
" Breath of flower... Sixth form... Whirling Peach-! " Kohaku spun her body around and delivered an attack, Dark Shadow immediately reappeared in front of Tokoyami but the impact launched them out of bounds
" Tokoyami out. It's Ubuyashiki's victory! " Midnight announced
" WOO! A FAST VICTORY FOR CLASS 1B REPRESENTATIVE, UBUYASHIKI KOHAKU! " Present Mic yelled loudly as the crowd cheered
Kirishima let out a battle cry as he sent multiple punches at Bakugo and due to his hardening, Bakugo got a cut on his face, Bakugo yelled as he sent an explosion on Kirishima's right side
" Counter! " Present Mic yelled
Kirishima chuckled, " That doesn't work on me, Mr. Explosives! " Bakugo skidded to a stop as he glared at Kirishima

Kohaku and Juzo watched as TetsuTetsu stood up, " Kirishima, aim for the chin! The chin! " TetsuTetsu yelled

Kirishima kept on sending never ending punches at Bakugo, " Bakugo can't get a break from Kirishima's fierce attacks. " Present Mic exclaimed
" Another counter attack from Bakugo! " Present Mic yelled again
" What? Did it work this time? "
" You've been exerting yourself to keep yourself hard, right? " Bakugo said, " If your attacking in that condition, you'll eventually fall apart. " Bakugo yelled as he sent a bigger explosion
When the smoke subsides Bakugo sent another attack, Bakugo kept on sending explosions at Kirishima repeatedly non-stop which made Kirishima's uniform tear
" This... " Kirishima muttered his eyes narrowed in shock
" The final blow! " Bakugo screeched, " Die! " Bakugo yelled sending one last final explosion at Bakugo
" Although, I understand why you don't want a drawn-out match with me. " Bakugo said with a smirk
" Kirishima is incapacitated! It's Bakugo's victory! " Midnight announced, the crowed cheered as Bakugo stood up right
" You idiot! You're lacking spirit, Kirishima! " TetsuTetsu yelled while throwing his arms around
" With Bakugo's intense carpet Bombing, he advances to the third round. " Present Mic said as the screens showed the 4 finalists, " Now we have the top four players! "
" I'II get going now. " Kohaku smiled at her classmates and stood up
" Good luck Class Rep! " They all wished the white haired female in unison, Kohaku smiled at them and left the booth
" Kendo. " Juzo spoke making the Vice Rep of the class look at him

" How did Class Rep get the purple on her face? " Juzo asked curiously, Monoma perked up but it went unnoticed by everyone else

got it because of her Quirk? " Kendo spoke unsure
Monoma gritted his teeth as he inhaled and exhaled to calm himself down
" Let's not talk about that, Haku's match is coming up. " Monoma said with the fakest smile the author has ever seen etched on his face
