nick and chris caught up with matt right before he went to the library
"i'm proud of you bro, it takes guts to hang out with a popular kid " chris told his brother
"yeah chris would know" nick said starting to laugh
chris smacked his older brother in the stomach making him stumble back a little
"okay let's not bring up something that we know is a very sensitive topic for all of us" matt told his brother
matt was right the topic was something they didn't like speaking about it was embarrassing and has affected their life.
"okay bro, you can do this tell us what happens after lunch okay" nick told his slightly younger brother changing the topic
"i will thanks guys" matt told the two as he walked off heading straight to the library
"hey, stop i thought you guys were friends" vicky told the girls cutting camila off before she could continue
"yeah i thought we were to" emma muttered to herself
"where just saying how much of a bitch someone else is not emma, she's our best friend" camila told the girl with a fake smile.
emma just rolled her eyes. of course miss fake perfect wants to keep her status by having a perfect friend group
"okay...do you want to hang emma" vicky asked the girl as if they always talk
"yeah sure" emma told her giving her a smile
"no you can't, you have to sit with us right emma" ashly asked emma pulling her arm
"no i really dont want to" emma told her
"ashly, she can do what she wants right" camila told the girl beside her nudging her arm
"right lets go camila" ashley agreed walking with camila as alisha followed asuit
"bitch" vicky mumbled as the girls walked away without emma
"it's not what it looked like-" emma started
"look i know how fake those girls are and i heard them talking, well yelling at you so i came over to help" vicky told the girl with a smile
"sorry, they are way better then you think i promise, they just like to keep their status" emma told the girl. she didnt know why she was defending them
"yeah no i get it" vicky told the girl even though she didnt believe her
"so do you maybe want to actually hang out with me for lunch so you dont have to go back to them? we could go to my car or something"
"yeah sure i would apricate it" emma told the girl as the two walked off emma completly forgetting about the boy that was in the library wating for her
matthew sturniolo walks into the library with a happy grin on his face. he cant remember a time where he was this happy by a girl asking to sit by him at lunch, but then again this is emma alexson where talking about here.
he makes his way over to the spot where they talked the other day, saying hi to the librarian on the way. he sits down surprised emma isnt here yet, thinking that he was the one that was late. he sat in the library for the next few minutes on his phone waiting for emma. once it hits the 10 minute mark he decides he should just text the girl.

emma sighed as she looked at the chat she felt so bad she forget about her origianl lunch plans, but she had been getting to know vicky and she was really fun
"whats the matter" vickey asked in concern grabbing a fry
the two had decided to go to mcdonals for lunch as they were both pretty hungry
"oh nothing, i just forgot that i actually had somewhere to be for lunch and i completely forgot, and now i feel really bad" emma told the girl
"im so sorry do you want to go there instead, if you do i understand" vicky told her
" no, its okay i already told him that im here anyway" emma reasured but still feeling guilt for forgetting about her original plans
"so its a he?" viky asked wiggling her eyebrows
emma just laughed at the brunette
"do you want to listen to some music its kinda boring in here" vicky asked
emma just nodded her head in agreement while vicky hooked up her aux cord to her phone serching for one of her favorite albums 'mirror' playing the first song
as the intro to 'never been in love' starts playing emma gasps
"what" vicky asked confused
"i love this album!" she told the girl in excitment
"oh my god! you know lauren-spencer smith" vicky asked with shock
"yes! i mean who wouldnt besides from taylor she's one of my favorite artists" emma told the girl
"taylor? like in taylor swift" vicky asked not being able to contain her excitment
emma just nodded in response
"oh my god, finnaly i need a friend who likes taylor to, im only really friends with these boys and they dont really like her music" vicky complained to the girl
"what? who wouldnt like taylor shes an icon, i feel sorry for you, let me guess they just listen to rap like every other boy" emma asked with a eye roll
"unforunatly you would be correct, but one of them does listen to other things but still" vicky told the blonde girl
the two continued to talk about music and other things they liked until the bell rung.
while those two where having fun laughing and talking in the library matthew sturniolo closed his phone with a defeated look on his face. he couldn't belive she bailed, he was so excited for this hang out, but at the same time he wasnt that surprised i mean who was he kidding its emma alexson for god sake, no way in hell would she ever like somone like him.
matt made his way out of the library with his heart heavy and an embarrassed look on his face, his brothers where right, it was to good to be true.
