emma walks into school the next morning with a smile on her face. she was glad that her and matt where able to work things out. she wanted to at least start a friendship with him and if she couldn't do that because of her fucking friends she would be pissed.

most of time she's not that surprised when her friends are bitches to her because they are most of the time anyway but they have been worse ever sense she has started standing up for herself. which emma thought was complete and utter bullshit.

emma was about to go up to her locker when vicky stepped in front of her.

"hey girly! how are things going with you and matt?" she asked excitedly

emma thought for a moment if they really wanted for this to work out she really couldn't have people finding out. even vicky. she didn't want her bitchy friends to find out, so she did what everyone would think of when in this situation. she lied

"oh actually i didnt work out as well as i thought it would" emma told her with a fake sad smile

vicky's smile faded she really wanted one of her best friends to get the girls of his dreams

"what happened" she questioned interested to find out what went wrong

"we just didn't really fit together, but it ending mutually" emma said expecting the question.

"damn, that sucks, i really wanted it to work out with you to" vicky said frowning

emma was about to say something else when she got cut off when a arm pulled her forcefully down the hallway.

"what the actual fuck!?" camilas voice boomed at emma extremely upset

"did you just completely forget what happened freshman year or??" ashly interjected bombarding the blonde with questions

"what are you talking about?" emma played off cluelessly

"you know damn well what the fuck we're talking about" alisha cut her off short

emma was a little shocked at this thinking alisha might be on her side

"oh..um" emma muttered

"speak up bitch" camila yelled

taken aback emma bit her lip not knowing what to say until she decided on the best thing to say,

"me and matt? oh that was nothing" emma told the girls who just looked at her like they didnt believe her

"im being for real, me and matt just didn't hit it off and we're never hanging out again" emma told them. complete lie.

"whatever, we're watching you just know that" camila rolled her eyes as she walked off with the rest of the group

emma was quick to stop alisha.

"i thought you were my friend?" emma asked in a small voice.

"i'm sorry. i have to go" alisha told her hesitantly

emma just looked up at her like a puppy that had just been kicked. betrayal laced in her eyes as she watched alisha walk away.

emma walked into her math class with a unreadable expression on her face. matt, who was in the class with the girl looked up at her when she walked up and sitting down in her desk which was behind him. with concern written all over his face he was about to ask what was wrong but before he could the teacher waked in.

as class went by emma emma was hardly paying attention which was a little odd for her considering she was all about writing notes. however her mind was pre occupied. how could she alllow them to have that much control over her? why was alisha all the sudden so hostile to the girl? these where the questions in her mind as she was stairing at the back of matt's head.

matt could eisely tell that there were eyes on him. he knew they were emma's so he knew he shouldn't say anything, but he felt so bad. he didn't know why she came into class with the look on her face that she did, knowing that she was one of those girls who always put on a smile weather it was real or it was fake. she always did.

as emma was zoned out thinking about the hallway interaction her teacher called on her.

"emma"

"what?" emma asked still not fully in reality

"are you paying attention?" the teacher asked her

"yeah, the dividend of the co officiant is 20" she told the teacher completely throwing out a random guess.

"close" the teacher said sarcastically as she was way off.

emma raised her hand before anyone could say anything else

"can i use the bathroom" she asked

the teacher threw his hand up in the air as a sign that she could just go

emma walked out of the classroom with her head hung low, embarrassed. people whispering behind her back as she left
