Stranded

Without you I bleed to death,
lay on the ground, take my last breath.
I feel haunted by your absence,
like I lost all my balance.
My only freedom flew away,
left me on the earth to stay.
I don't know how to keep going
without all my sadness showing.
I think I lost my faith in life
sitting all alone, trying to survive.
Why did you have to leave me here?
I'm stranded with no one near.
At least you could've said goodbye
and waited for my last reply.
That day you left cut like a knife
and since then I don't feel alive.
I waited weeks for your return
until it hit, the deep concern.
I cried all day, fell down a hole.
Until may I had no control.
I felt at peace when I was with you
but now everything's completely new.
The sun won't shine, the wounds won't heal,
I wonder what lasts and what stays real.
But now I have to close my eyes
and wait until the sun will rise.
