The next morning Alice woke up and saw that it was raining. Alice didn't want to leave her bed but she had a full day ahead of her.
She got ready for the day and Izzy joined her with their daily stretches. They both loved the tradition.
Alice made them both a hot drink and they pair sat next to each other and drank slowly and then both left the room.
Alice was looking for her mentor in the mist but she couldn't find her mentor.
She saw two cats run into the nursery holding something each.
Alice saw the nursery door close she seemed confused.
Alice opened the door and quickly dried off. She went inside and closed the door before looking around.
She saw Gwen standing in front of a cot with an older blond haired cat boy with many scars.
The cat boy was Gwens mentor his name is Dwayne.
Alice seemed confused about what they were looking at.
There was only one kitten in the nursery and they weren't looking at that kitten.
Dwayne noticed that Alice was looking at the cot and he moved down and allowed Alice to look.
Alice went up and saw what the two warriors were looking at.
There were two baby cat boys with brown hair and short bob tails.
Alice: Where did you find them?
Dwayne looked at her and smiled.
Dwayne: I was training Gwen so she can fight in the rain and we heard crying. We checked it out and found them alone!
Alice then gasped and looked at Dwayne.
Alice: Will Chris be alright with this?
She felt worse for the kittens.
Dwayne: I don't know but I will have to ask him.
Dwayne went up to another cot and grabbed a blond cat boy kitten.
He put the kitten in the cot closer to the twins and the blond-haired kitten looked at the other kittens.
Dwayne: It seems like my boy Junior is happy to have friends!
Alice smiled and left the nursery.
She looked hard for her mentor but it was hard to see in the mist.
She felt that she ran something, when she stood back, she saw she ran into someONE.
A cat boy with black hair.
Alice: I am so sorry Chris!
Chris: It is fine Alice! I need to see you anyways!
Alice was surprised that her leader wanted to see her.
Just like Eva her leader was a fierce leader.
Chris took Alice to a group of three other warrior apprentices.
A cat boy with black hair, A cat girl with black hair and another cat girl with blond hair.
Chris: Pin has to go get some herbs from the human village so I thought it would be a good idea for you four to go with them.
Alice nodded which made Chris happy.
She smiled as her leader walked away but her tone seemed to shift once he left.
Why out of all the members of Mist kingdom did he chose the others!?
She hated them.
Duncan is rude and scary.
Heather is mean and a bully.
And Lindsay is a sheep to Heather!
They started to wait for Pin but it was taking ages.
Alice wanted to be training or at lease talking to Grey!
She looked towards the sky the rain was still falling hard.
With every second Alice wanted to leave but she wanted to help Pin.
How would they even hide their cat features if the potion that does it wears off in water?
Heather was gossiping to Lindsay while Duncan was messing around with a knife he had found.
Where are you Pin? Alice thought with panic, She didn't want to be there anymore!
Alice turned the other way and was about to leave when she saw light come from the medicine bays door.
She looked behind her and saw a dazzled Pin leaving the medicine bay.
What were they doing?
Pin went up to the group while composing themself.
Pin: Thank you for waiting!
Heather: Pin? Why are YOU the one taking us all by yourself I thought you would have someone with you!
Pin: Scarlet said I would be able to go with only you guys
Lindsay: Do you have the potions?
Alice was annoyed she asked but she thought that Lindsay must have tried the potion and didn't like it either.
Pin sighed but kept a calm composure
Pin: No Lindsay, but that is a great question!Since it is raining the potion will not work. But there is another way the hide from the humans while it is raining.
Pin went onto the ground gracefully and went on their knees and were on all fours.
They started to stretch and after a while they started to change.
They got smaller than they already were and their hands and feet turned into paws.
Their body became furry with black fur with many white spots and a black nose.
Their tail and ears became more cat like and before they knew it Pin had turned into a black cat.
Heather: Even as a cat you didn't lose your dumb spots!
Alice wanted to snap at the rude she.
Pin grumbled but stayed calm.
Pin: Try it!
They mewed while starting to lick their fur.
The group seemed hesitant on doing it but it reminded Alice of the morning stretches she does every morning with Izzy.
She went on all fours and started to stretch Alice didn't feel herself change, however.
She looked at her hands and legs which remained the same.
Pin: Oh yeah! I forgot to tell you but you mind needs to be like a cats. You mind should be focused on hunting and fighting.
Alice started to stretch again but this time she was thinking about hunting.
She saw a green pasture filled with rabbits. She started to watch the rabbits and when she knew it was the right time she began to run after a smaller one.
She looked down and saw that she had black paws and was running on all fours.
But the vision disappeared and she was back with the group.
She was upset that she got taken away from the wonderful vision and even more so when she didn't feel any different.
She tried to stand up but she couldn't.
She was about the same height as cat Pin and she felt shorter.
Alice looked at her feet and saw that she had paws.
It must have worked!
She ran up to a puddle and saw that she had pure black cat with blue eyes and a pink nose.
She ran up to Pin and the two nuzzled quickly.
Heather went to the ground and when Lindsay noticed this, she followed her friend.
They started to stretch and after a few seconds they turned into cats as well.
Heather turned into a pure black cat with grey eyes and a black nose.
Lindsay turned into a yellow cat with yellow spots all over her body and blue eyes.
Heather: That was so embarrassing! At least I am a normal black cat!
She touched her pink nose and felt sad.
But no way would she let Heather know her words were affective.
Pin looked at Duncan with a smirk
Pin: Duncan don't you want to try?
Making fun of the fact Duncan seemed grossed out by it.
Duncan muttered angry words under his breath but he went on all fours.
He started to stretch and after a while he turned into a pure black cat with floppy ears and a black nose.
They noticed that their cloths were piled on the ground.
Duncan: Wait a minute? What about our clothes?
Pin: Scarlett said she will get them. But once you turn back you won't be wearing anything.
Duncan: I can't believe we have to do this!
Pin just laughed.
Pin: Follow me!
Pin started to walk out of the kingdom.
Alice looked around, even though they are a cat they didn't feel different or see the world different.
Her ear twitched and she started to hear Heather and Lindsay talk to themselves.
Heather: I still can't get over the fact that Pin is the one leading us! She is out of her mind making us do this!
Lindsay: Yeah! She is a freak!
Alice didn't want to get in trouble for attacking her own kingdoms warrior apprentices but they were getting or her last nerve.
Heather: Such a FREAK
Alice started to fell weird.
Just like when she had the vision of hunting rabbits, she saw herself in a barn with a bunch of cat people.
She even saw Butterscotch and a toddler Wolf.
She went up to another toddler cat girl wit white hair with some black in it.
Alice: Sis can we please play together?
Alice noticed that the cat girl had two friends about the same age as her.
??????: Ew! Isn't that your weird sister!?
The cat girl noticed Alice and growled.
????: I told you to stop bothering me FREAK!!
She turned into a cat and attacked Alice!
She dug her claws above Alices nose and wouldn't let go.
????: This will teach you for bothering me you freak!
Butterscotch must have noticed this because she ran up to the pair and grabbed the cat girl by the scruff.
Butterscotch: Clay, you turn back right now! How could you attack your sister?!
Alice started to cry and ran outside the barn. She went to a puddle and looked at herself.
The blood was dripping along her nose but then she noticed something strange.
Her skin was darker and she had spots on her body. Was this Pins memory?
Alice was back with the group in her own body.
She must have stopped walking at the others were looking at her.
Pin: Are you alright Alice?!
Pin ran up to Alice who couldn't talk.
When Pin got closer Alice noticed a scar above Pins nose.
Heather: Look at that! I guess it is true that freaks look out for their own!
Heather laughed and when she noticed that Lindsay wasn't laughing, she looked at her friend.
When Lindsay saw this, she laughed as well.
Alice growled and went up to the pair.
Alice: Why are you two so rude to Pin?! THEY didn't do anything to you!
Duncan went up to Alice and touched her nose.
Duncan: Alice they are only making fun of Pin because SHE is a loser! SHE is weak and soft! No wonder Chris made HER a medicine cat SHE can't look after HERSELF!
Alice growled and got prepared to attack.
Alice: Stop talking about THEM like THEY aren't here!!
She launched herself on Duncans head and got her claws out.
She saw an ear nearby and dug her claws deep into the ear.
She could fell the warm red blood dripping into her claws.
She put her hand up taking a peace of Duncans ear with her.
She went off Duncan who's wound was bleeding.
Alice noticed that he was trying his best to keep in his cat form.
Heather and Lindsay were horrified about what Alice did.
Pin was in front of the group but they stayed still while the fight was happening.
They went to Duncan and checked on the wound.
Pin looked around and saw a paper bark tree. They went up to it and grabbed a bit of bark.
The black and white cat went to Duncan and used the bark to wipe the blood off this ear.
Pin: I will give you more treatment once we go back.
They kept on walking into the human village, and Alice saw the tree where she relaxed with Grey.
When they entered the village, Alice felt calmer the first time she entered the village.
It seemed busy but the humans kept out of the way of the cats.
Pin started looked for the herbs and when they found it, they ran up to it.
The group followed them but they had no idea where Pin was going.
They found what Pin was looking at.
A soft grey plant with a bunch or lavender flowers. Pin grabbed the leaves and smiled.
Once they finished grabbing the herbs, they signalled with their tail for the group to follow them.
They went back to the kingdom without another word and they went their separate ways once they got their cloths back.
Alice went to Pin who was putting the herbs in storage.
They had already changed back and when Alice got closer their ears twitched.
Alice jumped up to the table which was close to Pin and the pair looked at each other.
Alice: You know they were wrong right? You are awesome!
Pin smiled and finished putting the herbs away and looked back to Alice.
Pin: Thank you, Alice! That means a lot!
Alice jumped off the table and went to her room.
Izzy noticed the black cat enter the room and grabbed her.
Alice: Izzy! It's me Alice!"
The orange hair warrior apprentice dropped Alice and seemed surprised.
Izzy: What happened?
Alice: I can tell you how!
Alice: First you need to go on all fours!
Izzy did that and waited for Alices next instructions.
Alice: Now stretch while keeping you mind on the hunt!
She started to stretch and then she turned into an orange tabby with a fluffy tail.
She opened her eyes and saw that she changed.
But then she noticed her clothes.
Izzy: Wait what happens if you change back without clothes ready?
Alice didn't want to say.
But then she remembered she needed to morph back.
Alice: Is it okay if you look away for a moment?
Izzy nodded and turned away. She morphed back and then she started to get dressed.
Once she finished getting dressed Izzy turned back around.
Izzy: Did you hear about the new kits?
Alice remembered what happened that morning.
Alice: I saw them this morning! Did something happen?
Izzy: Yeah! They are now part of the kingdom! And their names are Jay and Mickey!
