Your eyes shot open,it was currently seven in the morning. You had finally woken up after last night,still tired from what had happened.
You laid there in bed for a moment,staring at the ceiling,eyes half closed,not wanting to wake up just yet. But,it wouldn't last,Reggie would probably just come in and walk you up herself.
You spoke too soon.
"Y/nnnnnn wake your ass up,if your too tired then I have your breakfast here already." Reggie yelled from outside the door. She knocked,wanting to make sure you'd allow her in considering,she wanted to respect your boundaries.
"Come in...." Once Reggie was given permission by you,she opened the door with a tray of breakfast. She held some seasoned,avocado toast,eggs,a bit of bacon and,orange juice.
Once you sat up,she placed it on your lap,ready to walk away. Until you stopped her to ask something.
"Hey Reggie,at the circus did you some guy with like a top hat?....." You asked,she nodded her head as a no.
"You think I paid attention to the amount of people at that damn carnival? But to answer your question I kinda did...." She stood there with her arms now crossed. "Why?"
"No reason just curious....." She rolled her eyes at your response,leaving your room so you could eat in peace.
As you picked up the toast biting it,an idea popped into your head out of no where.
You were no person who investigates in unsolved cases,But this had really intrigued you. Shortly,after finishing breakfast,you picked up the laptop on your nightstand.
You opened up the laptop,logging in,the tab of Judai Yuki still there. Except,this time you searched for articles of the circus. Mainly,because Judai wasn't the only person who went missing that day.
At the old circus,there was a popular main cast for the performances. They were referred to as The Gx Cast. You still remembered the time you actually interacted with them.
They were sweet,generous,creative,and patient. It made you feel bad for the fact that they went missing. As your fingers typed in words in the search bar,you found a lot of articles. The top one about the entire cast. As you clicked on it,it included everything you pretty much needed to know.

That was only a little bit of whoever went missing. Everyone else had managed to evacuate safely,except for the Gx Cast.....
While you were researching all this,the idea that had been forming in your head was going to the old circus one last time. This wasn't all good of an idea because of the reports about people going missing.
"Why the fuck not? I've got nothing else to do." You thought to yourself in bed about this. You let out a groan thinking about it,yet you still rose up from your bed.
You placed the laptop into one of your drawer before going over to your closet to change into comfortable clothes.
For the small trip you wore a ruffled,thin strapped,white dress. Topping it with a oversized black jacket that reached an inch above the dress. Black tights,pastel black,leg warmers,and some boots.
You couldn't go anywhere with your satchel bag and headphones. So you ended up taking them both with you. Reggie was in the living room on the couch sketching some designs with Tv Girl playing on the tv.
You left your room walking into the living room to the front door. But Reggie stopped you.
"Y/n......where you going? Well if you don't mind..." Reggie asked pausing the song on the tv for a second.
"Oh just out for a walk...." You responded in a tone that made you sound like you weren't lying. Luckily,Reggie bought it.
"Oh alright just be safe Y/N." She responded smiling at you,unpausing the song,and going back to sketching out her designs.
"Mhm i will!" You nodded turning the doorknob,exiting,and shutting the door behind you.

According to what the internet said,the old circus was behind the new one,in the woods. Whoever said that came in clutch for you. It took some time for you to find it,but you managed.
Almost everything had been destroyed,all that remained was the famous circus tent and the rubble from the bomb attack in front of it.
You sighed,walking to the entrance that was blocked by all the rocks and rubble. You climbed onto one and then another before you found an opening,sliding right through it inside the circus.
You fell on your knees,onto the grass. There was grass growing inside.....you weren't surprised though. It had been years since anyone had done any changes to this place.
The circus brought back so many memories from when you were a kid. The faint scent of Jasmine and cinnamon, kids squealing in happiness, everyone cheering.
You picked yourself up off the ground back onto your feet and began walking,exploring this place.
Your body beginning to wander on its own. It was specifically towards the deeper area of the circus.
As you walked you noticed the tremendous amount of mannequins. It gave you a very uneasy feeling but you still continued walking.
It was almost like the mannequins were following your every move...
Once you had finally reached deeper into the circus you noticed some mannequins that resembled the Gx cast that went missing.
Unlike the previous mannequins you saw,these ones actually had fierce poses. There was something about one of them that drew you to them.
Maybe it was because it looked like Judai and the man from the circus? No it wasn't that,it seemed to have had an aura.
You couldn't control yourself as you just kept walking towards it,eventually getting close enough to it.
You rubbed its lip,your fingers touching other areas such as its shoulders and hair. The mannequin was almost human like and same went for the other mannequins that resembled the Gx cast.
There really was something about it that just made it so captivating.

"Holy shit i took too long....." You said to yourself as you checked your watch. It now being six pm,turning dark outside.
You walked back to the entrance of the circus. However,the little opening in the rubble that you used to enter.......was sealed off.
Panic ran through you because not only that your phone had no service for anything.
Just as you were about to grab at the rocks two of the mannequins forcefully grabbed you. You grunted trying to pry them off you. They seemed to have been taking you back into the deeper area of the circus.
You scratched at them,hit them,did everything you could but to no avail. They eventually threw you onto the ground in front of the same mannequin you were analyzing not long ago.
You were confused,scared,and just stared at it for a moment. It still had its fierce pose and was still for a good five minutes until its eyes blinked.
"Ughhh i hate being so still like that for an entire day.....now i can move...." He spoke,finally moving the rest of himself,stretching his body a bit. He had just went from a mannequin to a human body form in front of you.
"Oh.....it's you......well aren't you just the prettiest thing...." He chuckled to himself,getting close to you,looking deep into your eyes,as his hand turned your face,looking for anything he'd deem an imperfection.
