The wedding reception
April 14th
"And she was cursing him out man screaming at him because he ate her chips, I'm telling you that's the day I knew they were gonna get married because for the first time Saint just shut up" Von said as everyone laughed at his story
"But nah these two are meant to be and I mean that from the bottom of my heart, the love Saint has for kalani is crazy to see. She loves him and he loves her, they created a beautiful baby girl and I've been able to witness it all. I love y'all and I can't wait to see yall together forever" Von said as Kalani wiped her face, she loved Von speech it was beautiful
"We love you too!" Kalani said grabbing her napkin to stop the tear from falling , a few of both sides friends and family were giving speeches and Kalani loved them all
"Okay I think I'm going to be the last one to give a speech, one day Saint came to my house and said ma I found this girl and of course I was shocked because he never Rolf me about the women he dealt with so I knew him telling me about ms Kalani meant that she was special and she is. Everything Saint has been through Kalani has been right by his side, she has been the best women to him and he has spent his life being the best man he could be.
Kalani and Saint have been through it all and have managed to always come back to each other, Dakota has been the most amazing addition to our family. She's Saint twin with Kalani personality I love this little family they have I'm so happy you two never gave up on each other despite the challenges y'all have been put through son I'm so proud you you'll never understand how much I am. I can't wait to see yall together for the rest of your life's , so let's cheers to forever and always with Mr & Mrs Carter "
Saint eyes began to tear up as he held up the glass, hearing his mother say she was proud of him despite how many times he's messed up made him feel emotional.
"I love you it's ok to cry baby" Kalani whispered looking at her husband who was clenching his jaw, Kalani placed her hand on his face rubbing his cheek as everyone cheered to the toast
"You wanna dance with ya wife?" She whispered and he turned his head admiring her, she changed into her reception dress which was a plane while long dress that was similar to her wedding dress.
"I would love too" he stood up grabbing her hand , he waved to the dj to play some slow music. She stood up fixing her dress following him to the dance floor
"Im so happy right now" they slow danced and Saint rubbed her back
"That's the goal for the rest of our lives, for me to make you happy. You look good as fuck in this dress tho" he reached down placing his hand on her ass giving it a squeeze
"Ewwwww" they heard trigger say making them laugh, they continued to dance till the song was over.
"Ladies and gentlemen the father daughter dance!" The dj spoke as Lisa placed Dakota down on her feet and she ran to Saint, rich got out and walked to Kalani
"May I have this dance?" Rich asked and Kalani nodded with a smile, she didn't have her real father but rich was the closest thing to it. She looked over seeing Saint bent down holding Dakota hands as she stepped on his feet , everyone was in aw of the moment
"Dada feet!" Dakota said as Saint stood up picking her up in the process, his back was hurting from bending down. He kissed her cheek and grabbed her hand dancing with her, Kalani loved the moment so much she was hoping someone recording it. Once the song was over she walked over to them
"That was so cute Saint" Dakota was laying her head on Saint shoulder , she sat up looking at Kalani
"Hi Milan you look beautiful bug" Kalani smiled as Dakota reached her hand out touching Kalani nose. She grabbed Saint hand taking him back to the table to sit while everyone danced and sung to the music
"This was a beautiful reception baby when did you put this together?" They sat in the chairs while Dakota played with the chain on Saint neck
"Our moms I told them what you wanted and they made it happen all for you. I know we had a small wedding n shit but I wanted something special for you , shit it's the least I could do "
"You always do everything to make me smile. I can't wait to "my husband " everyone to death" she said looking at her ring, saint laughed he liked hearing her call them that
"I have something to tell you, I was gonna tell you later on but the reception was a surprise to me" she's been holding onto a secret for a month , he sat there confused as she took Dakota out his arms and told him to stay there. She walked up to the booth whispering in the dj ear , he turned the music off and handed her the mic
"Hi everyone! Um if you can find a seat for me please" she said as everyone walked back to the tables finding a seat
"So I wanna thank you all for coming to this beautiful reception planned by my husband and our wonderful mothers. I of course didn't know about this and I definitely didn't plan on saying this here but I'm glad I can." She shifted on her heels nervously
"As you all know me and Saint have been through hell and back and I'm so happy to be here with our friends and family. So me and Dakota have one surprise for him" she reached over picking up the pictures handing them to Dakota letting them all fall down showing the sonogram , she felt herself getting emotional with everyone staring at her
"We're having a baby" her voice cracked as everyone gasped, saint looked at her and stood up. His mother began to cheer loudly as Kalani laughed nervously
"You dead ass?" He asked making his way over, Kalani nodded her head with tears in her eyes. He grabbed her kissing all over her face, he's been begging for another baby forever and he's finally getting one
"Im 4 weeks today , i couldn't wait to tell you" he wiped her tears , Dakota threw the pictures down and laid on Kalani chest
"Damn mama you fr ? You giving me another one?" He held on to her as she nodded
"I'm ruining my make up" she laughed wiping her face, her mother walked up clapping her hands
"I knew it! I told you my dream was about a fish and you lied to me" her mom hit her arm and Kalani laughed
"I couldn't tell anyone yet!" Dakota reached for Erin who took her out Kalani arms
"Mhm yall celebrate me and my grand baby are gonna go get some sweets" they walked away and Saint pulled Kalani to him
"I love you" he whispered kissing her lips
"I love you so much more"
A week later
"Move Saint fr" Kalani giggled as Saint kissed on her neck, they were currently in the Bahamas in bed on their honeymoon. After being there for two days they have been relaxing enjoying each others company
"Lemme eat yo pussy one more time" she pushed his face away covering her chest with the sheet, she laid in bed naked after the morning session they had.
"No not right now" he sucked his teeth snatching the sheet from her, he leaned down to her stomach placing a kiss on it
"I feel bad" she whispered making him look up
"For what?"
"You never got this experience with Dakota and I feel horrible about it" the tears gathered in her eyes making Saint sit up
"Nah nah don't cry , you know I hate that shit lani stop" he wiped her tears that fell
"You ain't gotta feel bad , my love for Dakota ain't never gonna change and it don't make me love her less. Ima love Dakota the same way ima love this baby , you ain't gotta feel bad about that shit. Everything we been through was for a reason, yeah I missed you pregnant with Dakota but that shit don't bother me or her " she nodded listening to everything he was saying
"I love you, I love Dakota and I love the baby you growing now. Don't cry no more I hate when you and Dakota cry that shit break my heart"
"I can't help it I'm hormonal as fuck, I cry at everything " he placed another kiss on her forehead letting her lay on her side
"And ima handle every emotion, you wanna fed my baby?" She rolled her eyes playfully and sat up placing her arm over her chest covering her boobs. She slipped out of the bed walking over to her robe putting it on
"I wanna get in the pool today" she told him as she walked past him towards the room door opening it and going down the steps, she walked in the kitchen seeing the food on the counter. Saint made sure to have a chef cook them breakfast and diner everyday , Kalani walked to the back door opening it looking at the pool and the view
"Hmm come eat" Saint called out holding her plate she walked over grabbing it and sitting down at the table, he sat next to her grabbing her feet placing them on his lap
"You are so clingy!" She watched as he rubbed her ankle and ate his food, he grabbed his phone FaceTiming Dakota iPad and immediately getting declined
"She need to stop touching that damn button" he mumbled angrily as Kalani threw her head back laughing , he FaceTimed his mom who answered
"I just watched her hang up on you twice, she's watching princess and the frog" Lisa said while handing the phone to Dakota who looked up
"Hi fats why you hang up on me?"
"Dada fog!" She showed him the iPad , he smiled at how excited she got
"Yeah baby I see it, why you keep hanging up on me that's not nice"she ignored him going back to watching her movie as Kalani was cracking up
"That shit ain't funny she rude" he mugged the camera seeing his daughter ignore him
"Koko" Kalani leaned over calling out Dakota nick name, Dakota looked at the phone seeing her mom and smiled
"MAMA!" Dakota got closer to the phone looking at Kalani , Saint sucked his teeth
"Hi baby you ok?" Dakota picked up the iPad again showing Kalani
"You want dada to buy you that dress ?" Kalani asked and Dakota nodding happily , Saint raised his eyebrows
"So you understand that?"
"Leave my baby alone, have fun koko we will call you later ok?" Kalani blew her a kiss and said goodbye to lisa and hung up the phone
"Come on come fed my son"
"You swear up and down that im giving you a boy, it dont even look like im pregnant" she rolled her eyes at him grabbing her fork
"how you find out you was pregnant?" He asked rubbing her ankle
"Remember when i was at work and dakota had a runny nose and you weren't answering the phone i just had the biggest mental breakdown over nothing so i was like damn my period must be coming i check the app and it says im 8 days late and you know im rarely ever late which made me panic. So i drove home with dakota whiny self and she went to sleep and i grabbed the test sitting them on the counter but before i took them my mother called me asking about dakota and than said she had a dream about a fish so i knew i was pregnant "
"Yeah i remember i called you back and you cursed me out badly mama, i thought you was on ya period " he laughed thinking about the phone call
"Its my hormones its gonna be a wild ride i use to cry all the time with dakota so who knows how im about to act" he didnt care how bad it was he eas excited to have another baby, they sat together eating the food until kalani started to feel sick
"Baby you good?" Saint said looking at her face, she quickly snatchd her foot from him and stood up running to the bathroom throwing up everything she just ate
"Damn baby" he held her hair back as she threw up in the toilet, he rubbed her back until she finished. He walked over grabbing a napkin wiping her face
"You good?"
"Yes im sorry" she started to tear up which made saint scrunch his eyebrows together
"Nah mama you aint gotta be sorry it aint your fault come on, brush ya teeth and we can go later down" she sill had tears running down her face as saint flushed the toilet snd took her out the bathroom, he took her upstairs to the room and let her brush her teeth
"But i wanna go to the pool" kalani poked her bottom lip out but saint shook his head no
"You just threw up all the food you ate, lay down for a little bit and ill take you i promise ight?" He held out his pinky and she smiled taking it and locking her finger with his allowing both of them to kiss their hands , he kissed her forehead and ket her climb in the bed. He got right in after her and rubbed her back until she fell asleep
A month later
"Say hi kota" kalani recorded Dakota who was being extremely clingy right now , dakota waved her hand and than got annoyed with the fact that she was slipping. Kalani re adjusted her letting her lay back down
"Mmmm baby?" Dakota poked kalani belly, kalani laughed watching her daughter stare at her belly. For the past month dakota has been glued to kalani hip, kalani figured that dakota knew there was a baby inside of her. Kalaní stomach was flat you couldn't tell that there was a baby inside but dakota instantly knew
"Yes koko its a baby in mommy belly" kalani rubbed her back as she typed on her phone, saint was on his way home from the club. Kalani was missing him since he's been so busy lately they've barely had time together with her hormones its making her annoyed with him
"You wanna watch princess and the frog?" Dakota shot up hearing her favorite movie , kalani turned it on and dakota laid back on the couch.
"You so grown bye girl" kalani laughed standing up walking to the kitchen, they recently moved into their brand new house and kalani was in love with it. She heard the door open which made dakota sit up, kalani watched her little head peak over seeing saint walk into the living room
"hi da!" She reached her arms up and saint instantly picked her up kissing all over her face, the sound of her small laugh was heard all the way in the kitchen making kalani smile
"Wassup fats you been good today? " saint asked walking into the direction of the kitchen
"Mama got baby" she told saint who chuckled, he couldn't believe she already knew without them having to tell her which made thing easy. Of course shes too young to understand what it really means
"Yeah mama gotta baby" saint walked towards kalani and she moved her face before he could kiss her, he sucked his teeth watching kalani walk to the fridge
"Mmmmm mmmmm" dakota tried to get down, saint placed her down in her feet letting her run to the couch
"You beefin with me?" Saint asked her she turned around looking at him
"You cannot be serious! You've been busy all week what about me huh? Your wife? " she held her hand up shaking her ring finger , he walked towards her standing over her
"I told you i had shit going on at the cl-" she cut him off
"Ok fine be busy at the club then i don't care" she walked past him going into the pantry, she knew she was being dramatic but she didnt care. They had an agreement that they would both only be physically at work 3 times a week but saint has been at work everyday for the past week
"Mama" he sighed watching her pull out the pack of oreos which were her and dakota's favorites, she placed a few on a napkin while saint watched her waiting for her response
"No saint dont mama me shit! Im hormonal im emotional im eating and throwing up all thw time. I miss my fucking husband! Im being a brat but i don't care your supposed to be here with me!" She opened the fridge grabbing the milk, saint walked over taking the milk out her hand sitting it on the counter
"Look at me, you having alot of emotions right now and I understand that. I love you and im sorry baby you hear me? Im done i wont go to work tomorrow ill be here with you, i aint trynna slack i wont slack ok im sorry ill make it up to you" he wrapped his arms around her waist kissing her lips
"Im being a brat aren't i?"
"Nah these your feelings, im wrong for being gone so much you know business is crazy right now and its been keeping me there but i got priorities that are more important which is you dakota and my son" she rolled her eyes at his last comment
"Act like it than! Come rub my feet and watch your daughter princess movie. Its the least you can do" he nodded happily he didnt care what they wanted to do he was gonna do it
"Hmm kota we got cookies!"kalani walked over sitting on the couch, she sat the pink cup full of milk on the table along with the cookies, she picked one up handing it to dakota
"Wookies!" dakota snatched it out of kalani hand, saint sat down next to dakota finally gettign out of his outside clothes
"Damn fats you covered in the cookie" saint shook his head, dakota had oreo all over her face and her shirt but she didnt care she was too focused on the movie
"Fats you hear me talking to you?" Saint tapped her shoulder and called her name again, dakota reached her hand up covering saint mouth while kalani busted out laughing
"She said shut up saint " kalani said while laughing, Dakota moved her hand while saint held a strong mug on his face
"This some bullshit, cant wait for my son to get here he aint gon treat me like this" saint mumbled underneath his breath while kalani continued to laugh
"Kota say love you dada" kalani tapped dakota shoulder
"Wuv u" dakota said finally looking at saint who smiled
"I love you too fats"
