Sunshine hit my face, making me groan. My head ached slightly, no doubt from the alcohol I ingested the previous night. I wasn't the only one who let out a groan as Kaine let one out too. I opened my eyes to see her still laying on top of me, snoring silently and peacefully. It was an oddly warming sight considering how tough she usually is. Then again, I knew she had a softer side to her.
Gently, I picked her up and laid her down beside me, allowing me to get out of my bed. I then pulled the blanket over her, keeping her lower half covered. Smiling, I got changed and left my room. Upon doing so, however, I immediately heard shouting from the ground floor.
???: What are you two doing here?!
That sounded like 9s! What was going on? Quickly, I ran downstairs and burst into the living room.
Y/n: What's happening?!
My eyes immediately widened when I realised there were four new people here! Two of them were men who had snow white hair and the other two were women with blonde hair, most of their features concealed by veils.
Y/n: Oh you gotta be kidding me...
2b: Y/n! Get back!
White hair1: "Y/n"... That's not an android name... So perhaps...
White hair2: Is he human? A real human?
Nier: Just hold on a second. What's going on? Who are these guys?
Y/n: Adam and Eve... The next stage of machine evolution.
The brothers stared at me, bewildered at my knowledge.
Adam: Well... That is a surprise.
Eve: Then you know that all we want is to know more about humans.
Commander: 2b, 9s, eliminate the machines! Immediately!
Y/n: WAIT!
Everyone froze, surprised that I would stop them. If you asked me though, its not really that surprising.
9s: Y/n?!
Y/n: Haven't you ever wondered why the machines replicate human behaviour?
9s: ...
2b: ...
Commander: What are you getting at?
Y/n: They just want to know more about humans. About what gave our lives meaning. Not to destroy humanity. But to try and bring it back.
9s: "Bring it back?" What do you mean?
I lowered my gaze to the ground. I forgot that I didn't tell them about how their stories end, how humanity no longer exists in their world.
Y/n: Look... I know more about your stories than I originally let on. So just trust me when I say I have my reasons for keeping it to myself. Its not because I want to. Its because I want to keep you protected.
A2: ...So... Its that saying... Ignorance is bliss, right?
I nodded.
Y/n: Pretty much.
Adam: So does that mean we can abstain from combat?
Y/n: Yes. There's no need for bloodshed.
Adam: Very well.
Black veiled woman1: Its good to see you're okay 2b and you too Commander! We were worried when you all disappeared.
Black veiled woman2: Although... I can't help but wonder if this new person brought us here.
Nier: He doesn't really know much about how we got here either. Its not his fault.
Black veiled woman2: And you are?
She spat harshly, almost scolding him.
Y/n: Easy 21o. No need for the hostility.
She glared at me next.
21o: How do you-
Commander: Operators. Calm down. Apparently in this world, the human known as Y/n, knows us from video games.
Black veiled woman1: Video games? I... I've never played a video game. I've wanted to try and see one before.
Y/n: I'd be more than happy to show you, but maybe it'd be best if you guys get familiar with the area first. Settle down before doing anything.
Grimmoire Weiss: How many other people are going to be sucked into this world?
Y/n: I don't know. But man, I'm glad I haven't played Drakengard otherwise... Oh shit... I just remembered one of my friends played Drakengard. What if-Uh oh...
Meanwhile in London...
A man with black and white hair can be seen sat in his house silently while his home bursts into flames and bodies are strewn around him while a red dragon and a silent man are killing anything and everything around him.

Grimmwoire Weiss: The question still remains, how do we return to our own worlds?
Y/n: Aren't you a "wielder of arcane"? You usually like to brag about it when you introduce yourself and I don't know any form of technology that can make fiction into reality. That fits more with magic I assume.
Grimmwoire Weiss: Wah! N-Now listen here! I will not be made a fool by a boy who can scarcely wield a blade!
Y/n: There's no need for a blade if one can tear out your pages with their bare hands.
A2 chuckled, leaning back against a sofa.
A2: I'm liking you already.
Yonah: Wait... Where's Kaine?
Nier: Huh? Oh yeah! Y/n, did you see where she went?
Y/n: Uh, y-yeah. She's upstairs, still asleep.
Nier: Upstairs? When did she go upstairs?
He doesn't remember? Maybe she slipped past him when he fell asleep. Well I wasn't about to confess that we had sex. That was a bit too much information for them to handle. Probably.
Eve: Its quite the party you have here.
Y/n: That's one way of putting it.
Black veiled woman1: So what now? Oo! Oo! Oo! I know! Can I go outside and see the world?! I'd LOVE to see what humanity's like!
Devola: Wow. She's really excited.
21o: 6o, control yourself. That's no way for an Operator to act.
6o: Aww! But-
21o: No.
Y/n: Cmon 21o, loosen up a little. Its not like you're stuck in front of a computer screen anymore.
9s gulped.
9s: Uh, Y/n? Maybe don't say that.
Y/n: What? I'm just being honest.
Adam: So what happens now? Do we get to hear your thoughts on the meaning of life, Y/n? Or at least what it means to be a human.
Y/n: Believe me Adam, I'm not really the best person to talk to about this kind of stuff. And it doesn't help that each and every human being alive has different answers.
Adam: I see... Interesting.
Eve: Then what's your view on what being a human means?
Before I could answer, my stomach grumbled, alerting the androids, prompting them to pull out their weapons. I quickly raised my hands, stopping them.
Y/n: EASY! Calm down! Jeez... You guys are always so quick to respond with violence, damn.
2b: So what was that grumbling?
Y/n: That was just my stomach! I just woke up and I'm hungry.
9s: Oh...
They sheathed their weapons, looking away from me, embarrassed. I let out a sigh.
Popola: Now that you mention it, I'm actually a little hungry too.
Nier: Yeah, I could use a meal.
Yonah: Me too.
Y/n: Then I'll get started on making breakfast.
Nier: You want some help?
Y/n: Nah, I've got it. Nier, Devola, Popola, can you guys just do me a favour and keep this whole situation de-escalated?
Devola: Yep. Leave it to us.
I nodded thanks and left the living room, entering the kitchen.
Great... So now there were four more people here. How many more were somehow going to end up here? I really hoped this was the extent of it...
