Jungkook was part of the Jeon mafia that was the leader of all the mafias for generations now.
"Why is that Park behind us?!" Mr Jeon is angry "Jungkook! you will go to that party tonight and ask him to back off if he doesn't want to die!"

Jungkook goes to the party to kill inspector Park, if need be, who was behind the Jeon mafia wanting to bring them down. Just as he was about to go to the man and warn him, Jungkook sees a tiny boy standing next to the man. Jungkook's heart stops
The boy turns around when he feels someone stare at him. Their eyes met across the room

Jungkook doesn't let any opportunity go in meeting Jimin. Jimin is intrigued by the man's constant presence in his life, he is attracted to the man as well but can't help his sassy side whenever Jungkook tries to flirt with him, which only makes Jungkook fall for the otherwise sweet boy even more.

Jungkook starts following the boy around, appearing in front of Jimin randomly and showering him with gifts which Jimin never accepts.

Jimin always ignored the man but that was till he sees Jungkook saving his best friend from drowning on the beach that day - that entire moment of Jungkook diving in to save his friend when Jimin starts panicking and the man comforting him as they waited for the doctor to let them know how his friend is- that made Jimin fall for the man and give Jungkook a chance.
They date in secret. But eventually both families find out about it and they are enraged.

Jimin was scared of the constant threats from Mr Jeon as well as his own dad who threatened to kill Jungkook if they didn't break up
But Jungkook encouraged the boy to stay strong just like he was for the both of them

While the couple were in Jungkook's private resort, Mr Park arrives there with his team to arrest Jungkook while Mr Jeon arrives there with his gang to kill Jimin.
Mr Park and Mr Jeon come face to face with the couple and a huge fight soon ensues with Mr Jeon threatening to shoot Jimin while Mr Park threatened to arrest Jungkook.
Both Mr Park and Mr Jeon had their guns pointed at Jungkook and Jimin respectively. As their verbal fight and anger continues, both Park and Jeon fire the gun. Jungkook notices the shoot aimed for Jimin and takes the bullet instead that Mr Jeon shot and Jimin seeing the gun being fired at Jungkook, takes the bullet that Mr Park shot
Both the fathers were shocked when they saw their sons took the bullet for each other and they understood that their kids loved each other
They immediately called for the ambulance
Jungkook reaches out to hold Jimin's hand as they both lay bleeding on the floor. Their eyes reflecting the pain and love they held for each other
Just then their past life flashes in front if their eyes
"We will survive the test of time. They can't deny our love.... they can't divide us. I promise I will be right here..."
They both gasp out
"My angel...."
"My devil..."

In their past life, Jungkook was a devil and Jimin was an angel. They met when both their realms waged war against each other and the two couldn't help but fall for the other's presence. Their people weren't happy and even though they were the leaders of their kingdom and tried to unite both realms, their own kind killed them. Jimin was always scared that their people wouldn't accept them both but Jungkook had promised him that they would survive the test of time
"I promise I will find you in our next life and I will be standing next to you..." Jungkook promises as he slowly lets the darkness consume him as he sees Jimin's body disappear into thin air

"I promised you I would be standing next to you, didn't I?" Jungkook says as he lays cuddling with Jimin in his arms
Both families have now agreed to let them date.
"I remember..." Jimin says smiling as his head rests against the man's chest "...my devil..."
Jungkook smiles as he leans down to kiss the boy's head "I love you so much my angel.."
"I love you too...my devil..."
