Azur Lane. They are the ones who protect planet Earth from the invading force that are the Sirens. The Kansen, living warships brought to life via the wisdom cube. Nobody knows where exactly it came from. All we know is that it is essentially the "heart" or "soul" of a Kansen. Without it, they will die. Recently, tensions between the factions is at an all time high with disputes between the ideological morality between reverse engineering Siren technology and integrating it, and using our own technology to defeat the Sirens.

Location: Azur Lane base

The main base for Azur Lane's operations is an island in the Pacific Ocean. On this island, we can see the harbor where the Kansen dock their ships as well as a town of sorts to accommodate their needs. Shopping centers, restaurants, entertainment, the whole shebang. The Eagle Union was the first to arrive after a call to gather at the island was given. Both the Eagle Union and the Royal Navy have responded with the main Royal Navy fleet on the way. Meanwhile, we find ourselves in the market area facing the sea where we see two Kansen walking along the path.

"Wow, it's gotten really exciting around here!" said a Kansen with a tomboy-ish personality. This was the Eagle Union light cruiser Cleveland, the namesake of her class and the eldest sister.

Next to her was a more formal and Royal looking Kansen who wore a signature red cape over her right side. "Forces from both Eagle Union and Royal Navy are gathering at this base. It's only going to get busier from here on." This was the Royal Navy battle ship Prince of Wales, a King George V class battleship.

Cleveland turned around facing Wales while walking backwards. "You know who else is coming from my side? It's Eagle Union's greatest warrior, given the most battle stars ever!" Cleveland stated.

"The famous Grey Ghost, yes..." Wales confirmed. "The main forces of us Royal Navy are also arriving soon. This base will surely become central to all of our ongoing activities."

"Well then, we'd better greet them properly!" Cleveland said excitedly. "Can't keep them waiting. Let's go!" She said as she ran off. Wales couldn't help but chuckle lightly at the light cruisers behavior. "Come on, hurry!" Cleveland yelled. "Don't rush me" Wales responded. All the while, a mysterious hooded figure passed by. A sudden gust of wind revealed the figure to have white hair, red eyes, and ear-like attachments on her head. This was the Sakura Empire destroyer Ayanami.

Meanwhile, at a docked aircraft carrier, a rather buxom, white haired woman wearing a sunhat walked down the gangway carrying a suitcase. This was the Royal Navy aircraft carrier Illustrious. "Illustrious!" Illustrious turned her head to see that it was Prince of Wales and Cleveland with the latter waving her hand.

"Your highness, coming out to greet me? To what do I owe that honor?" Illustrious asked. "Please don't tease. Long time no see, Illustrious." Wales said. "Good day, Prince of Wales. Who is your friend?" She asked. "Cleveland, from Eagle Union! Glad to see you've made it through your long journey." Cleveland then noticed a purple haired girl peeking from behind Illustrious. The girl noticed this and hid behind her momentarily before peeking out shyly. This was the Royal Navy light aircraft carrier Unicorn.

Cleveland smiled toward Unicorn, but she once again hid behind Illustrious. "This is Unicorn. I'm sorry, she's a tad shy. I hope you weren't offended." Illustrious said as she introduced her. "Nice to meet you!" Cleveland said.

Location: Azur Lane Academy

At the academy office, we see the trio with Illustrious and Cleveland drinking tea. "Hood and the others will join shortly." Illustrious said. "Shouldn't we be keeping an eye on Iron Blood? How is that faring?" Wales asked. "A temporary lull, for lack of a better description. What's more pressing is..." Illustrious dragged on. "Sakura Empire" Wales finished, "As we suspected." Illustrious nods in agreement.

"If Sakura Empire is making a move, this base would be on one of the hottest fronts. Reinforcing this base is a natural decision." Wales stated. "Why wage such a meaningless conflict..." Illustrious asked rhetorically. "Warfare never changes, no matter what era we are in. It's the reason we all were brought into existence..."

Meanwhile, in the academy courtyard, we can see Unicorn walking along. Although, something was wrong. That being her unicorn plush that she usually carries around with her was missing. "Um.." a voice from behind said, with Unicorn getting startled. She turned around and saw who the voice belonged to. This girl had short, purple hair, a white dress that was attached via two buttoned straps that lead to a hoodie kept down, and a patterned skirt. This was the Royal Navy destroyer Javelin.

"Oh, you must be... Um..." Unicorn said shyly. "I'm Javelin! You're from the Royal Navy, too, right?" Asked Javelin cheerily. "Is something wrong?" She asked, seeing Unicorn's worried expression. "Unicorn got separated from her U-chan..." Unicorn shyly said. "U-chan...?" Asked Javeling. "Unicorn's friend... What should I do...?" Unicorn said, worried for U-chan. "Hmm... I get it!" Javelin grabbed Unicorn's hands "You and I can find U-chan together!"

Under the Sakura trees of the academy, a sleepy girt with twin tails sat on a bench sleepily. "Warm..." Said the girl lazily. This was the Eagle Union destroyer Laffey (She's the best starter you can't change my mind).

"Um, excuse me?" Asked Javeling, walking up to the sleepy Laffey. "Hmm...?" Replied Laffey, about to fall asleep at that point. "Have you seen U-chan?" Asked Unicorn. "She got separated from her friend. Have you seen anything?" Javelin clarified as Unicorn showed her a very detailed drawing of "U-chan" which looked like an alicorn. "Good skills." Unicorn looked down in embarrassment. "Look familiar?" Javelin asked. "Hmm... Sleepy." Laffey proceeds to almost nod off to sleep. "Oh, sorry to bother you spring your rest!" Javeling apologizes "Okay, on to the next!" They both begin to walk away. "You in trouble?" Javeling and Unicorn look back to see Laffey wide awake. "Laffey will help, too."

The trio proceed to travel around the base asking around to see if anyone has seen U-chan. They were checking in with the Royal Navy cruiser Kent when Amazon came up and pointed towards the cliffs in the distance saying that she had seen U-chan around that area.

We now see U-chan, which turns out to be the plush that Unicorn possesses, chasing a butterfly before rolling into Ayanami whi was standing near the edge of the cliff. She proceeds to pick up U-chan. "A stuffed animal...?" U-Chan then proceeds to try to get free of her grasp. "A strange creature." A cry is heard in the distance. "U-chan!" Ayanami looks to the source of the voice and sees the trio of Laffey, Javelin, and Laffey heading toward her. "There you are, U-chan! I'm so glad..." Unicorn says, relieved to see her friend unharmed. "Thank you" Ayanami averts her gaze. "No, I didn't do anything to deserve thanks." Javeling looks over to the ocean. "Woah! I didn't know such a pretty place existed!" Ayanami looks as well and indeed it was quite the sight to behold. "The wind feels nice... nodding off..." Laffey says sleepily. "How did you find such a great spot? You must have skills!" Javelin exclaims. "Oh, thanks." The trio then introduce themselves. "Thank you for finding our friend! Can I ask your name?" Javelin stretched out her hand for a handshake, that was until a blue blur flew overhead causing the trio to flinch. When they got up, Ayanami was nowhere to be seen.

In the trees, Ayanami reported to her superiors. "Ayanami reporting." She said to a blue paper plane. "We're on mission. Use your code name" An unknown voice responded. "Oh... sorry. This is Citrus. I have a general understanding of the structure of the base." Ayanami responded. "Good. We're ready to take action as well. Rendezvous when appropriate." "Understood."

At a rock formation a distance away from the base stood two fox women. One had long, brown hair and fur and wore predominately red clothing while the other had short, white hair and fur and wore almost white clothing. These were the Sakura Empire aircraft carriers Akagi and Kaga. "Pheonix, ready when you are." Kaga said. "Kaga, what do you suppose is the fundamental nature of battle?" Akagi asked. "Um, my dear sister Akagi, please use my code name..." Akagi ignore this and continued. "To battle is to inflict injury. To battle is to relieve injury. A battle is a mutual exchange of pain. Through pain, we understand each other's feelings. In other words, to battle means to love." Akagi stated (quite the damn masochist huh?). "I don't fully understand what you are saying. I will destroy my enemies. That is all." Kaga declared. Akagi chuckled at her sister. "Oh, how pathetic of you." A storm cloud rolls in behind them and, coming from it, is a whole Siren fleet. "Now... let's start this war."

"The Sirens!? Intercept them, hurry! This is not a drill!" Wales ordered. Outside, fires were spreading everywhere as explosions hit the docked ships and the dockyards "The Sirens, now? What terrible timing..."

Location: Underwater

Distance: A couple miles from Azur lane base

Enterprise was sitting on her captain's chair. She had been observing the world she was now in for the betterment of about an hour or 2 by now. To say she was surprised that this world looked almost exactly like Earth back in the 1940's is an understatement. Additionally, she had detected new lifeforms besides humans on the planet one of which she had encountered in orbit. The other lifeform seemed to be mostly, if not all, comprised of humanoid women who seemed to have ship parts attached to them. "New planet, new technology. It's to be suspected" She said to herself.

She was about to call it a day when her comms went off detecting a comms signal. "Find the appropriate frequency and clean up the audio" She ordered. The comms tuned themselves to the appropriate frequency and the audio was cleared. She heard a female voice over the comms and noted she had a British accent. "This is Prince of Wales to any Azur Lane allies nearby, we are under attack by Siren forces! I repeat, we are under attack by Siren forces, requesting reinforcements!" This caused Enterprise to think for a moment. Azur Lane? What was this "Azur Lane" that was spoken of? Apparently they were under attack by these Sirens, whatever they were. They sounded hostile and they were attacking a base. A question now lingered in her mind. Should she interfere? It would be a direct violation of the Prime Directive if she interfered now. They weren't on the level of primitives but they didn't have FTL travel either. She thought about it for a bit. "Eh, Kirk violated it once to save Spock so why wouldn't I be able to violate it to save more people?" She said. "All I gotta do is not mention it in the logs and I get away free" She directed the ship to move at half impulse to reach the base faster.

When she reached the base, the battle was already in full swing with explosions ringing out and black ships with red lights attacking. Wait a minute, is that a giant fox with runways attached to it? Why the hell is there an alicorn flying in the sky towards it? "Okay, yep this is definitely not where I'm from. Theory confirmed." She said. She then observed said alicorn get shot down and floating on the water was a little girl. The giant fox then proceeded to get closer to the girl.

"Why the hell is there a little girl fighting whatever the hell that thing is?! Time to be the hero and save her then" She ordered her ship to move forward but then she faced a problem. Two of those black ships have broken off and approached her position. She ordered the ship to dive and it dipped its nose down to dive as depth charges were dropped around her, causing explosions that rocked the ship slightly. "Alright buddy, you attacked me, so now I attack you. Red Alert, lock phasers on those vessels."

A couple minutes beforehand, a battle had been raging on the surface. The Azur Lane kansen had been fighting off Siren aircraft and ships is a bid to defend the base. That was, until, Akagi and Kaga revealed themselves to be the perpetrators behind the attack and Kaga summoned her giant fox. Unicorn moved in to attack but was shot down by one of the flaming enemy planes. Now, there she laid. Being stared down by a giant fox and, presumably, about to be eaten. That was until the fox stopped and looked back towards the entrance to the bay. "Kaga, dearest sister, what is wrong?" Akagi asked. "Our destroyers have detected an underwater contact and have sent ships to deal with them." Kaga answered. "I don't see the problem then, it was probably just a submarine that came to the wrong place at the wrong time." Just then, two Siren ships in the distance exploded mysteriously, with the ships surrounding them also exploded as well. Suddenly, Kaga's radar pinged showing the underwater contact getting closer to their position. "It's getting closer... 300 meters, 250, 200, 150, 100, 50... it's right beneath us!"

Unicorn couldn't help but look down underneath her and her eyes widened at what she saw. What passed underneath was definitely not a submarine for it was too big to be of such a clarification. She swore she saw two glowing points as it passed underneath before it passed by. The contact then stopped a distance behind Unicorn if Kaga's slightly panicked shouting was to be heard correctly. The contact then started turning in place until what is assumed to be its front faced toward the giant fox that stood before Unicorn. "It's surfacing!" Cried Kaga. What surfaced from the water couldn't be described in words by anyone present during that moment.

From the water rose what seemed to be two elongated, white objects that, at the front, seemed to show a mechanism of sorts that spun and glowed blue. If one were to look at one of them, they would read an encryption with a designation reading "NCC-1701". These elongated objects only breached halfway out of the water before what looked to be a saucer breached the water infront of these objects. A neck then emerged seemingly connecting the saucer to something as well as the while elongated objects having the same type of connecting structure. Finally, the body of the ship emerged. Both the neck and the connecting mechanisms joined at this body. At the front of the body sat a giant dish-like structure that glowed a bright blue. The ship itself made a hollow whining sound as it emerged from the water and then proceeded to hover without any sort of visible propulsion over the water. The battlefield was silent at the sudden appearance of this alien looking vesself. It definitely wasn't Siren because it didn't share any traits of a Siren ship. A secret Azur Lane project perhaps? Thought the opposing Kansen. But there was no way that something this advanced could exist. The Azur Lane Kansen were equally as silent. There were some gasps of amazement here and there along with the fearful cries of Norfolk in the distance with her being comforted. The silence was broken when a voice spoke seemingly from the alien ship itself.

"This is the USS Enterprise of Starfleet and the United Federation of Planets to hostile forces, please surrender immediately and lay down your arms. This situation can be settled diplomatically and we can discuss terms." There was yet another round if silence due to everyone asking themselves questions. Particularly the Eagle Union Kansen. Enterprise? This ship calls herself Enterprise? There's no way... right?

Meanwhile, Kaga was silently filled with rage. This ship that came from nowhere demanding that THEY surrender? It was unbelievable in her eyes. She commanded the giant fox to launch aircraft at the mysterious ship showing that she indeed didn't want to solve the situation diplomatically.

Enterprise detected the aircraft and sighed. "At least I tried being nice. Lock phasers and open fire!" The phaser batteries opened fire and hundreds of phasers rounds were fired at the planes shooting them down at an unbelievable rate. She was about to fire her Photon torpedoes when explosions hit the fox. She detected more planes and they were identified by her computer as SBD Dauntless dive bombers. Her eyes widened, realizing "Wait, ancient propeller craft? And these are old SBD Dauntless' which means..."

In the distance, there was a Yorktown class aircraft carrier. Painted on the deck were the letters "EN" and on the bow end of the flight deck stood a woman with long, white hair, amethyst eyes, and an admiral coat and cap as more dive bombers took off.

"Enterprise, engage!"
