"Y/N!! Will you join the meeting please????"

Furina whined dramatically as you efficiently sorted through the case files.

You glanced over at her with a calm demeanor,

"The meeting is in two weeks right?" you inquired, to which Furina eagerly confirmed.

"Is that so... I'm sorry but I have a vacation planned for that week."

You calmly explained, returning to address an urgent management issue handed over by your colleague, who quickly scurried out of the office.

"WHAAAAT??"

Furina's voice echoed in distress as she grabbed your arm, her eyes pleading.

"Please, please, please, YOU NEED TO COME WITH ME!!"

"Did you ask my lover?" you retorted with a hint of exasperation, taking a moment to address a significant problem at hand, rubbing your temples in the process.

"Uhh... About that...hehehe...." Furina's nervous laughter filled the room as she shifted uneasily.

"I've come to learn that silence is as well an answer, Furina."

Furina pouted, determined to find a solution. "I will just ask Neuvillette again."

You hummed thoughtfully, meticulously jotting down crucial notes on the problem at hand and extracting a set of files from an overstuffed folder on the shelf.

"If you panic like this, then I assume the meeting is indeed important."

You calmly remarked, your attention consumed by the vast array of documents and their extensive product details.

"Of course! A Diplomat from Snezhnaya will come regarding the Harbinger... Are you listening??" Furina urged, her frustration evident in her tone.

"Harbinger? Would you mind elaborating on what a Harbinger is, not to mention the Fatui organization?"

You inquired, prompting Furina to pause for a moment.

"Oh right... You couldn't possibly know about that."

Furina cleared her throat, assuming a formal posture.

"Well, The Fatui is a powerful diplomatic and military organization from Snezhnaya. They are known for their influence and manipulation, often working behind the scenes to achieve their goals. Harbingers are high-ranking members of the Fatui, each possessing significant power and influence. They are responsible for executing the Fatui's missions and furthering their organization's interests."

You nodded, appreciating the insight.

"Thank you for the information. Now I have a better understanding of the adversary facing our nation."

"So, will you go?" Furina inquired once more, her eyes pleading.

"Furina."

You interjected, your voice now cool and collected.

Furina jumped back, startled by the sudden shift. "Y-yes?" she stammered in response.

"Who do you fear more? The Diplomat from Snezhnaya or the individual behind the Diplomat?"

Furina's eyes widened at your question. "H-huh? I- uh..."

You observed her reaction before returning your attention to the endless pages of the files.

"Either way, I've seen everything, Furina. You can't hide it from me," you calmly stated, reviewing the latest orders and their serial numbers.

"W-what do you mean?" Furina asked, fear evident in her voice.

"The individual designated as the Diplomat from Snezhnaya attempted to steal the Gnosis from you but failed," you revealed, causing Furina to gasp in shock.

This was her secret, and she couldn't confide in anyone due to her pride and dignity.

How did you come to know about this?

You sighed, "I'll attend the meeting and see what I can do. However, I'm not well-equipped to handle these kinds of matters, so keep that in mind."

Furina heaved a sigh of relief and embraced you tightly.

"Thank you so much!! But please, don't ever tell anyone about this!"

"..."

"..."

"... No," you replied.

Furina cried out and pleaded with you to keep it a secret, but you continued to focus on your work, ignoring her requests.

You observed Furina's childlike behavior, akin to a tantrum.

You continued to scan through the latest purchases of Clockwork Mekkas from the Fortress of Meropide.

"How about you focus on one of the problems instead of throwing a tantrum, Furina?" you suggested, pushing a report in her direction.

She took it, sniffled a bit, and began to read.

"I'd like to hear your opinion on this and a potential solution," you demanded, your tone more serious.

Furina quickly skimmed through the pages of the report.

She then raised an eyebrow.

"Well, it's just about some Clockwork Mekkas without serial numbers... It's not a big deal," she shrugged, eliciting a disappointed look from you.

"Not a big deal, as proclaimed by the Hydro Archon."

You quoted her, your tone reflecting your disappointment.

Furina looked worried as she asked, "W-what have I done something wrong again?"

You addressed Furina's confusion.

"You merely fail to grasp the importance of vital details, Furina. Let me rephrase the question for you: What purpose do the Clockwork Mekkas serve?"

Furina's expression reflected her uncertainty as she responded,

"They are responsible for patrolling Fontaine City... I think?"

"The purpose of the serial numbers on these Clockwork Mekkas," you probed further, "what is it?"

"Uh... Serial numbers are meant for... for... Uh..." Furina's hand went to her head, signifying her struggle with the concept.

You let out a sigh, deciding to simplify the explanation.

"Serial numbers hold significant value as they not only validate the machines as members of the Gardes but also enable us to trace their origin and production details."

You motioned for Furina to take a seat, watching as she complied hurriedly.

"Connecting the dots and logically considering this, Clockwork Mekkas without Serial Numbers can't be verified by the Gardes and could be sold illicitly anywhere. This is a serious matter," you stated, taking a composed sip of your tea.

Furina nodded, attempting to follow your line of thought but clearly struggling. You noticed the confusion etched on her face. It reminded you of your own past, a dark history that you had firmly closed off. Yet, your love for your brother remained strong, despite everything.

"Picture this: machines controlled by strangers. Now, let's think hypothetically. What if these unlawfully traded machines were, for instance, purchased by the Fatui? What do you think would likely happen?" you inquired.

Furina's response was quick and direct.

"The Fatui would definitely launch an attack on us!"

"Exactly. Ignoring this problem could lead to dire consequences," you concluded, your tone carrying a sense of urgency.

Furina nervously chewed on her fingernail, grappling with uncertainty.

"So what should we do?" she asked, searching for guidance.

You offered a faint smile. "Go straight to the heart."

Furina's confusion was palpable as she tilted her head.

"Go straight to the heart?"

"It means we should head to the Fortress of Meropide, where the Clockwork Mekkas are produced," a low, smooth voice chimed in as Neuvillette entered the room.

"Darling~!" you exclaimed, rising from your seat to greet Neuvillette with a kiss.

He returned the gesture tenderly, while Furina scrunched her face in disgust.

"Come on, guys, find a room, please!" she pleaded, clearly uncomfortable with the public display of affection.

Neuvillette's hand slipped down to your butt, his loving smile never fading.

"I am merely greeting my mate, Lady Furina," he explained, rubbing his forehead against yours, deepening your bond.

Furina let out an exaggerated sigh, "Yes, yes, yes... Anyways, your dear Y/N is coming to the meeting."

She grinned mischievously, then theatrically cleared her throat.

"I, as the Hydro Archon, ask you to come with us to the meeting!"

Neuvillette remained his usual composed self, unswayed by her theatrics.

"Hm, is that so?"

He gazed down at you, his fingers gently caressing your cheek.

"My wife can handle these matters perfectly. But if you insist, then I will gladly join," he trailed off, capturing your lips once more.

Furina rolled her eyes once again.

"You probably just want to watch how your idol is going to handle the meeting..."

Neuvillette pulled back from the tender kiss and guided you to sit together at the desk.

"Just as my beloved has explained, we urgently need to address the issue with the Clockwork Mekkas," he emphasized.

You let out a sigh.

"It really came at a bad timing..." You muttered, though Neuvillette's sharp ears caught your words.

He turned to look at you. "Were you planning something for today?"

"I was thinking of taking a vacation tomorrow or the next week so I could be there for the meeting," you replied.

Furina's curiosity was piqued, and she asked, "Where did you want to go?"

You looked at her and managed a faint smile,

"I want to go to Sumeru, to meet my dear friend," you said, a touch of excitement in your voice as you thought about the upcoming visit.

"Oh, so you're looking to meet the Dendro Archon, Nahida, right?" Furina inquired, taking a large bite of her cake.

Her question perplexed you, and you tilted your head.

"Yes, I want to meet the Dendro Archon... But who is Nahida?" you asked, seeking clarity.

Furina appeared equally confused now.

"Well, you mentioned meeting the Dendro Archon... And her name is Nahida," she explained, glancing at Neuvillette for confirmation.

He nodded in agreement, adding, "Nahida is the Dendro Archon of Sumeru, my love."

You turned your gaze to Neuvillette and then back to Furina.

"I don't know any Nahida who serves as the Dendro Archon!" you exclaimed, your tone rising with frustration.

"It's beyond disrespectful to speak such nonsense about my friend!"

Your eyes blazed with anger, and in an instant, the earth, sea, and sky trembled with fear.

Furina let out a yelp and nearly fell out of her chair in fear, while Neuvillette appeared equally alarmed.

It was the first time he had witnessed such a display of raw emotion from you, the true Hydro Archon, the God of Judgement.

He was uncertain about the best course of action, considering your immense power and authority.

Your rage was palpable, the anger simmering within you almost tangible.

How dare they name someone other than Rukkhadevata as the Dendro Archon!

"Rukkhadevata is the one and only Dendro Archon, and my very first friend who introduced me to the Humans!"

You declared, rising from your seat and slamming your fists on the desk.

"Any further disrespect toward her name, and I will personally take your heads this instant," you growled with venom in your voice.

The room fell into a heavy silence, only punctuated by the rumblings of the earthquake and the turbulence in the sky.

Furina averted her gaze to the ground, while Neuvillette also looked down, not wanting to further incite your anger.

In truth, they were unaware of who Rukkhadevata was and how they might have offended you.

With hurried, cold steps, you stormed out of the office, the sharp clicking of your heels echoing loudly against the polished marble floor.

Furina flinched as the door was forcefully slammed shut.

She glanced up slowly, meeting Neuvillette's concerned gaze.

"You know... I think it's best for you to take some time off... No, go home and try to calm Y/N down. Don't return to work until then."

Furina stuttered, gripping the arms of her chair tightly to steady herself.

"...Thank you, Lady Furina."

Neuvillette replied, acknowledging her decision, before swiftly exiting the room.

As Neuvillette hurried along the street, he observed the frantic crowd seeking shelter from the chaos, street lights swaying dangerously in the violent tremors.

The panic and terror were palpable as structures crumbled and debris scattered across the ground.

Neuvillette had never imagined that such intense emotions could trigger such a catastrophic response from the elements.

Rounding a corner, he nearly collided with Wriothesley, who appeared to be in a frantic rush.

"Oh, my apologies, Monsieur, but I gotta go, find her..." Wriothesley gasped, before dashing off.

Neuvillette quickened his pace, his heart pounding with worry as he realized he was only a few minutes away from his home.

Neuvillette stepped into the house, finding you seated on the couch, your eyes fixed on the vast expanse of the ocean.

"Love..."

Neuvillette's gentle voice reached your ears as he settled beside you, his hand tenderly resting on your thigh.

"I'm sorry... I didn't mean to lose control like that," you whispered, settling into his embrace.

"Rukkhadevata holds a special place in my heart. She's the one who taught me about emotions and the newer Gods... I cherish her deeply."

Neuvillette planted a tender kiss on your temple and held you close.

"No, I'm sorry to upset you, love. I didn't-"

"You don't need to apologize... I... I just need to see my friend. So much has happened during my recovery after the Cataclysm..."

You said, closing your eyes in an attempt to regain control over your emotions.

"Perhaps she simply underwent a name change..."

Neuvillette purred as his hand traced circles over your stomach.

"Your little belly seems to be growing more every day," he murmured, lifting your snug shirt to reveal the area.

"Look, our little one is flourishing..."

You chuckled softly. "There's still nothing there, my love."

You met his gaze, and Neuvillette closed the distance between you for a kiss.

"Are you certain? I swear I can see our little one growing each day,"
He breathed against your lips before pulling you down onto the couch, lavishing you with kisses.

His lips moved sensuously over yours as his hands began to explore your body.

You let out a soft moan, feeling the heat between you intensify.

Neuvillette's touch sent shivers of desire through you as he continued to caress your skin, his fingers trailing along your curves.

He leaned in, his warm breath sending a tingling sensation across your ear.

"I can't wait to meet our little one," he whispered, his voice husky with desire.

His lips found your neck, leaving a trail of fiery kisses. "But for now, let's enjoy each other."

You responded eagerly to his advances, your hands entwining in his hair as you deepened the kiss.

His hands moved with purpose, exploring every inch of your body, igniting a fervent desire that consumed both of you.

The room was filled with the sound of your mingled moans and the rustle of fabric as your bodies pressed against each other, seeking more of the intense connection you shared.

Wriothesley breathed a sigh of relief, his heart fluttering at the sight of Clorinde standing there in his home, her presence bringing him a sense of security amid the chaos.

Gratitude filled his voice as he responded, "I can't express how grateful I am that you're here, looking after Sigewinne."

Clorinde's gaze softened as she stepped closer, her concern evident in her eyes.

"Of course, I wouldn't have it any other way. Sigewinne is like family to me," she replied, a faint smile gracing her lips.

Wriothesley's hand instinctively reached out, gently brushing against Clorinde's cheek.

"You're an angel, you know that?"

Wriothesley's lips met Clorinde's with a fierce hunger, their passion fueled by the adrenaline of the recent events.

Their embrace intensified, and their tongues danced in a fiery exchange, each seeking solace and comfort in the other's presence.

The taste of longing filled the air as they held each other tightly, their bodies pressed together in an urgent, fervent embrace.

As they deepened their kiss, the world around them faded into obscurity, leaving only the pulsating rhythm of their intertwined hearts.
