Jude sat on the sofa, Jobe opposite him. Jobe and their dad were visiting Jude and their mum this week in Dortmund. Their parents had popped out, leaving the two boys home alone.
Jude had scrabbled to find the TV remote after he heard that Georgina was on TV that night, much to the confusion of Jobe who just glared at him. He flicked through the channels, struggling to find The Graham Norton Show on this German TV. Once it was finally on, Georgina, alongside Florence Pugh and Meryl Streep, had just walked out on stage - causing a massive reaction from the audience - sitting down on the orange couch between the two actors.
Jude hadn't even listened to the introduction, he just stared at her. Her hair was down in loose waves, just resting upon her shoulder. She wore a black dress that stopped mid-thigh, which had puffy white sleeves. The girl looked around the crowd as the clapped for the trio whilst Graham Norton introduced them all.
Jobe noticed Jude locked in a strance, staring at the young actress and chucked at pillow at his brothers head.
"Bro?!" Jude removed his eyes from the the screen to glare at Jobe, "what was that for?"
"You're so whipped," Jobe laughed.
"You're the one that wanted us to be together..."
"Yeh but I didn't think you'd actually do it!" Jobe continued laughing, "It's Georgina May, everyone fucking loves her, how have you got her?"
"I haven't got her yet, and why wouldn't I get her?" Jude questioned.
"'cause you're the most awkward person ever," the younger brother stated, " and you've loved her for years, can't believe you finally spoke to her."
"Y'know what, just shut up," Jude replied whilst rolling his eyes.
Jobe just continued laughing and scrolling through his phone whilst Jude watched the interview. Both brothers looked up when they heard the front door open.
"We're back!" they heard their mum shouted through, followed by their dad.
"Hey!" Jude shouted back.
"Jude loves Georgina May!" Jobe shouted to them.
"Huh?!" Denise replied once her and Mark were seated down in the living room.
"They went on a date and-" Jobe blurted out.
"You went on a date with Georgina May?!" Mark questioned.
"And you didn't tell me?! I love her, she's so sweet!" Denise said.
"'Cause I knew you'd all act like this!" Jude defended himself.
"What d'ya mean??" Denise asked clapping her hands together.
"How was the date?" Jude's father asked.
"Good, it was good," Jude said, his whole family looking at him, wanting more information, "she's coming out here on the weekend by the way."
"And we're you going to tell us that?" Denise was still in disbelief that her son was talking to Georgina May.
"Yeh, probably," Jude answered, "you guys need to stop being idiots when she's here."
"Ooo, I'm so excited," Denise said with a smile on her face, " is that her on the TV?"
"Yeh, he's been watching the whole thing," Jobe answered for Jude. Jude just blank stared Jobe.
"She's so pretty, isn't she?" Their mother commented, now watching the interview.
"Yeh she is," Jude muttered.
"Hahaaa, your literally already in love with her bro!" Jobe started his laughter again.
"Jobe," Mark scowled, tapping his shoulder.
"No it's cute," Denise said, turning to Jude "please invite her round on the weekend."
"Yeh, I'll see," Jude answered.
"Ooo, I'm so excited."
