"Congratulations overall high score winners once again at Starbound, those judges definitely know who the Abby Lee Dance Company is I want to keep this winning streak going now onto the pyramid, Kendall you were brought in as a guest even though you helped the team win first place you're still a guest at the Abby Lee Dance Company."
"First I have Brooke, you had a rough week you were injured day one I saw the pain in your face. You're on the bottom because you never spoke up and said anything."
"Next Paige, you're injured there's not much to judge you on I wanted you to work on your terminology and to do the warm up with us but you didn't show up for a whole day."
"Next Mackenzie, you had a solo I thought you did a good job. I thought your solo was great but crying and having a little meltdown am I disappointed in second ? Absolutely, but you can't do that because it looks like your ungrateful that you were second . You're eight now you're not a baby anymore save your tears for the pillow, understood ?"

"Naïla, you were second, first to loose. I wanted more from you than what you did."
I nod.
"Next Maddie, you probably wonder why am I there ? You had a great week it doesn't matter you have to set higher goals remember I told you and Naïla I wanted you twenty points above the person 2 and a half is not twenty."
"Alright next Chloe, you were outstanding in the group you did an okay job with the duet but I want you to be intense that same intensity you bring to the solo you need to bring to the group and to the duets to the trios and to every number you are in."
"And on top of the pyramid Nia, Nia you're the top of the pyramid because I am so proud of you, you did your solo and got a standing ovation." Abby says
I hug Nia along with the other girls.

Since when do we have a dance captain, I don't know but since it's Nia I don't really care.
We all cheer and clap.

"This weekend we're going to Starbound and we will be going to mertle beach."
"Woohoo !" we all cheer

"Kendall this week you're going to do a duet with Mackenzie, Chloe you have a solo, Naïla and Maddie no solo this week.." Abby says
"Moms you're dismissed go ahead upstairs. Ladies we have lot of work to do, let's go." Abby says

Five days to competition
"Stomach, tight."
"Lunges, you're reaching for her Brooke." Abby says
"Don't be so far away. Look at Chloe. Right here, we go that way." Miss Abby says
We learn the whole group, it's pretty good.
"You are one lucky little girl. You get to be rehearsing with these people who have won, week after week after week. Everyone of those bad habits that you came to my studio with got worse when you went to Cathy's now I have to clean up the mess. Thank you." Abby says to Kendall
"Okay girls let me talk to you for a little bit about this number, this is a very deep number and it's going to be difficult it get across to the judges in two minutes and thirty seconds so Maddie is the one that i've chosen to do her own choreography you come out you're a free spirit, you have all the privileges, you're allowed to do anything." Abby says, Maddie smile and nod
"You guys you don't have any of those pleasures of life that she has she's different you're going to make her want to be like you." Abby says
We go through the number, I like it.
Through the dance we hear the moms yelling, we look up and it's Christi and Melissa.
They're arguing about Maddie.
I hug Maddie.
"Who had an affair with her boss ?! Who lives with a man who is still married !" Christi yells
"I did not have an affair with my boss." Melissa yells

Two days to competition
"So where is Melissa ?" Jill asks

"Ok where's Melissa ? Girls where is Maddie ?" Abby asks

Group rehearsal
"Five, six, seven go." Abby says as we do a part of the dance
"Stronger arms, you're reaching for her Brooke. Reach out there, boom !" Abby says
"Take it from the fan kick, I wanna hear your voice." Abby says
Maddie's the lead so it's weird to dance without her.
"Nia come here. I want you to go out, take your cellphone, call Maddie and tell her to get her but in here, right here right now." Abby says
Nia goes out.
"Remember you guys are all as one !" Abby says
"Reach in and go. Three and four. You're on the outside then you and you then Maddie." Abby says as we do the dance from the top
"Get in here let's go." Abby says
Maddie walks in studio A.
"Hey I never want this to happen again. You do the group dance, you're part of the team, you do not miss rehearsal. This whole thing with your mother, forget about it. You're gonna let these mother dedicate your future ? That's ridiculous." Abby says to Maddie
"Missed you." I whisper to Maddie
"Same." she whippers back
"Up, go !" Abby says
We finish rehearsal.
"Girl we have two more days to get this number clean, you understand ?" Abby asks

One day to competition
We walk in and go in the den, the Ziegler's walks in short after.
"Hi." I say to Maddie and Kenzie
"Hi." They reply
Maddie and I sit on a bench and start talking.
"Abby's telling you or Naïla are doing a solos and Maddie you're not." Melissa says to Maddie
Maddie huffs.
"I don't want to do a solo, I want Chloe to win." I say
"Thanks girlfriend." Christi says
Abby calls us to do rehearse the group.
We did usual rehearsal, I like the group choreography.
I go to tap and ballet and then Abby calls Maddie and I in.
"What's the real truth ? Tell me the real truth ?" Abby asks Maddie
"You don't want to do a solo ? You want just a week off ?" Abby asks us
"I don't want to do one, too much pressure." I say
"It's just I can't learn a solo at-" Maddie says
"I don't wanna go there and not win. Both of you have beaten boys before." Abby says
"But I already did it when Paige did her chair solo." I say
"Who cares ?" Abby says, I roll my eyes slightly
"So I feel like I'm giving you an opportunity and you're screwing all over me." Abby says
I look down and I start fiddling with my fingers, bad habit.
I finish my classes and then go home.

We walk in the dressing room and start to stretch. I'm happy I don't have a solo so I can relax but Abby's going to be mad at me.
Mom do my hair for the group.
Chloe and I hug Chloe before she goes backstage.
We then go in the audience to watch Chloe.
"Welcome Chloe with Leave The Light On."
I like the music and she did good.
Justice do is solo. Isn't it the same as last time ? But anyway I liked Chloe solo better.
We go to the dressing room. Chloe walks in, we hug her.
"Good job ! Very nice !" Abby tells Chloe
"Maddie, Naïla you understand now why I wanted you to do a solo ?" Abby asks
"Yes." We say
"It doesn't have anything to do with Chloe, it has to do with backstage you could have psyched him out." Abby says
"It was my fault and if i held back Maddie. I'm sorry." Melissa says
"But you have to realise it's not professional." Abby says
"Holly nothing to had ?" Abby asks
"The kid didn't want to do it, I wasn't gonna force her." mom says
"Yeah but when I say something you listened !" Abby says
"She didn't want to do it !" mom
"Who cares ! It's my studio, my reputation !" Abby shout

We get ready for the group and go over it.
"Girls remember it's about the story it's about informing let's go." Abby says
We go backstage.
"Let's goooo girls." I say
"Judges number 250, Taken." The announcer says

"Where's the chair ? Where's the chair ?" Cathy yells from the audience

The dancers get off the stage.
A man go put the chair on the stage.

The dancers go on stage on more time and do their dance.

Solo and group awards
"9-12 year old junior soloists" the announcer says
"I call the two remaining soloist." The announcer says
"Second place junior soloist put your hand together for 253, Leave The Light On Chloe."
"And our top soloist is Shipwrecks Justice." the announcer says
"Our top junior groups. In third place please put your hands together for my hair like this"
"And our top junior routine had a score of 295 out of 300 points number 250 Taken !" the announcer says
We stand up and scream.
"The name of the studio ?" The announcer asks
"Abby Lee dance companyyy !" We scream in the microphone
We go in the dressing room.
I hug Chloe.
"Don't worry you did awesome." I say
"Good job you beat them again, Chloe what are we gonna do about you huh ?" Abby says
"tenth of a point." Abby adds
"You know what Chloes score was amazing she danced amazing he's a boy and you're the first to say that they get bonus points for being a boy why don't you come in here and tell her great job instead." Christi says
"She did do a great job but it wasn't good enough, Maddie, Naïla do you get it ? Do you understand why I wanted you to do a solo so you would intimidate him." Abby says
"You know what Melissa this is my business you have a guy who pays all your bills I don't ! I have to pay my bills." Abby says
"I have your duet costumes I'm telling you now the two boys are gonna to beat ya." Abby says to Kenzie and Kendall
Kendall and Kenzie get ready.
We get in the audience.
The boys do their duet, not for me.
"Open ages 9-10 number 254, Reservation For Two."
They did pretty good.
"Second place, The Promotion."
"Top junior duet/trio Reservartion For Two."
We all clap and sheer.
"Absolutely beautiful out here." The announcer says
We go back to the dressing room.
