Aleris's POV:

The next day

I had already apologized to Mother and my brothers, now...the only person left was

Father

I walked to Father's office and knocked on the door, well of course gently

"Father, if your in there, May I come in?" I asked behind the door

"Yes" he replied, I opened the door and closed it as I got in

Father was standing near the bookshelf in his office, he seemed to be reading a book about..something

Well whatever it was, it was none of my business

"Father, I have something to tell you" I said in a calm voice but my tone still had some seriousness

Father glanced at me and closed his book, he turned to me and sat on the couch

He gestured for me to sit too so I did

"What is it?" He asked

"why does he sound emotionless..." I thought to myself

"It's about what happened yesterday...I wanted to apologize to you for making you worry and arranging a search party just to find me, I really do apologize Father" I said in a calm but apologetic tone

I hadn't realized it but I had already lowered my head that time

Suddenly, I felt a pat on my head. I looked up and saw Father...giving me a pat?

"Father...?" I said while I had a bit of a shock expression while Father's expression remained calm

I never knew how to read his expressions, it always seemed...calm and..emotionless, Somehow.

"You don't need to worry child, it's what I would have done if any of my children would disappear without a trace" he replied in a calm tone

"Huh...I seem to be a crybaby now that I have returned to the Duchy" i thought to myself as I felt tears form on my eyes again

"I see...I apologize for being teary eyed today Father" i said as I wiped the small tears

"It is alright child" He replied

I got up and bowed "Thank you Father" He nodded in response, I stood up straight and walked towards the door

"Have a great day Father" I said in a calm tone as I opened the door and closed it as I walked out

I sighed "it might've gone great but I embarrassed myself! IN FRONT OF FATHER ASWELL" I thought to myself as my inner self began to cry and drown in embarrassment

"He might've said "it is alright child" BUT STILL" I sighed again and began to walk towards my room

After reaching the door to my room I stopped as soon as I touched the doorknob, I glance to my right and noticed a nearby window

"Oh...has there always been a window here?" I asked myself as I walked towards the window

I looked down and saw Luke and Xavi practicing swordsmanship "oh...seems like I'm starting to adapt to speaking like a noble...damn it"

"But...it wouldn't hurt to peak at them up close right?" I thought to myself as I began to walk, then ran towards the entrance to the training grounds

I finally arrived outside, I quickly hid behind a bush as I watched them train

"Oooooo, it seems like Luke and Xavi are really talented in swordsmanship" I thought to myself as watching them really fascinated me

Suddenly a man with Black hair walked in front of them "Alright you two, training is over for today. Rest well and get enough energy for tomorrows training" The man said

He seemed...familiar

My brothers nodded and said their goodbyes, Suddenly the man glanced at my direction

Well...to be precise he glared at me, that look sent shivers down my spine...LITERALLY.

"You can come out now" He said

I thought to myself "no...I shouldn't, what if he's just testing me?...yeah...I...shouldn't" who would've thought that would be my biggest mistake that time

After a few seconds, I hadn't moved. I blinked and suddenly the man disappeared out of thin air

I felt hands lift me up from the bushes, I turned my head and saw the same man who had just disappeared

My face turned pale out of nervousness and well...of course getting freaking scared.

"Oh...haha...hello...Sir Kai.." I said to him as I looked at him with a nervous look as I started to sweat

He put me down gently and took out a handkerchief, he wiped the sweat off my forehead "You should be careful Miss Aida, those bushes could have cut you" he spoke in a calm tone

I took the handkerchief gently from his hands, I felt quite embarrassed as he wiped my sweat earlier...

"I see...thank you for telling me that Sir Kai" I said in a calm tone, I had calmed down now phew...

"Well, please get back safely to your room miss Aida" he bowed "I'll see you next time" he said as he walked away

I waved goodbye but it seemed like he didn't notice me waving at him, I shrugged it off and looked around in the training grounds

It was like a garden but instead it had armor and training equipments, it really was a training ground

"Wow...it's my first time to see one in person..."

I never actually knew if the training grounds back in the modern world looked like this..I was never really exposed to the dark and cruel side of things

Maybe that's why...

I shrugged that thought off and decided to walk back to my room

A few minutes later

I opened the door to my room and closed it as I walked in, I walked towards my bed and laid down on it...well I plopped down on it

I sighed "haaah....what a soft bed...I've only felt these in hotels before.." I mumbled to myself as I started to fall into a deep sleep...then, I closed my eyes

I suddenly woke up to a light shining to my eyes and through my window, I sat up and rubbed my eyes

It was the moon...was it night time?

"Huh...I guess I slept for hours..." I said to myself

I as I tried to get out of bed but my back suddenly cracked, well it made a sound so I thought it cracked

"UOGH...oh my jeez...my back hurts.." I thought to myself

"Ugh..I thought this wouldn't happen in this world and in a new body.."

Suddenly I heard a knock "M'lady, May I come in?" A voice said from the other side of the door

"This is a new voice...wonder who it is" I thought to myself as I sat straight, ignoring the pain on my back

"You may" I said as the person opened the door and revealed herself

"Good evening m'lady, I am Hina. I'm your personal maid from now on" A young girl said cheerfully with a bright smile

"I see, it's nice to meet you Hina. I'll be in your hands from now on then" I smiled softly at her as I replied

"Oh...oh no...heh....I'm doomed"
