2 Weeks passed since Mia talked to Devon. She was still pissed. Today was the day finally got to sit down with her parents she hadn't seen in over 3 years.
She walks into her clothes picking out something to wear she picked out this like a green dress. She wanted to wear her hair curly but short.
Tasha walked out of the room into her sister's closet seeing her looking in the mirror.
"I love that on you," Tasha said
Mia turned around looking at Tasha with her white dress on looking beautiful too.
"No sis this looks on you gorgeous," Mia said coming to her and fixing her up.
"Thank you. Hope Dad won't flip out when he sees me in this. You know how he is" Tasha said
"We gone see. Let's go they waiting" Mia said
They walk in and see their parents already sitting down at the table having a drink.
"Mom, Dad," Mia said sitting down.
"Girls," Phil said looking at Tasha's outfit.
They look so good ❤️
"Tasha, what do you have on? " Phil asked.
"Clothes. There's nothing wrong with my dress Dad" Tasha said
"If I said something it is. Is this what you bought her while she was here Mia? " Phil asked.
"She already had that with her. How am I supposed to know what she brings Dad" Mia said getting smart.
"Mia tone it down," Angela said
"I'm not even raising my voice Ma," Mia said
"You both know your dad doesn't like the stuff y'all wear. So you both could have dressed more classy" Angela said
Mia didn't want to hear about what they had to say.
"So Tasha moving in with me," Mia said
"Over my dead body," Phil said
"Why not? " Mia asked
"Because she still got school. And what would she be doing here besides wearing what she wants? Plus she is only 18. No! " Phil let
"But Dad..
"No Tasha. That's final" Phil said
Tasha got up and left to go to the bathroom.
Angela got up and went after her
"Really dad? She'll be fine. She'll be starting school here and find her a job as well" Mia said
"Mia No. There's nothing for her here? " Phil said
"And what's back home for her? Nothing but the same stuff I went threw. " Mia said
"Mia you were doing what you were doing because you didn't want nobody telling you what to do," Phil said
"No, I started doing what I wanted when y'all keep me hostage in the house damn my whole teenage life," Mia said getting mad
"Lower your voice. And you saw what happened to you. You never listened" Phil said
"So instead of talking to me and figuring out what was my problem. Y'all decided to put me out that same night I got hit. Like don't play with me" Mia said
"Who the fuck are you talking to," Phil said getting angry now.
Mia ain't say nothing.
"Mia I'm still your father. Don't let me get out my body in front of this mother fuckas" Phil said raising his voice.
"GET UP AND LETS GO," Phil said getting up pissed this time.
Tasha and Angelawalks out of the bathroom seeing Phil mad as hell and Mia with her arms folded.
"OUTSIDE" Phil said talking to Mia.
Mia stormed off outside.
"What going on? " Angela asked
"You'll See," Phil said walking outside.
Tasha knew when her father gets mad ain't no talking him out of anything.
Phil walked up to Mia's car pointing his finger in the face.
"I'm YOUR Father. Don't EVER Disrespect me. YOU HEAR ME?" Phil said
"Enough Phil," Angel said
Mia was pissed too shedding a tear from her face.
"Angela NOT Now," Phil said.
"No Now. Get in the car. I got this" Angela said
Phil walked to the car getting in.
"Babygirl. Your mouth is what is getting you yelled at" Angel said getting a tissue from her purse and whipping her face.
"I know Ma," Mia said
"I'll think about Tasha moving here okay? But we can't give you an answer now. Both of you need to get it together. Starting with the clothes" Angela said
"Let's Go Tasha," Mia said going to her car.
"I love you ma. " Tasha said
"Love You both. I'll call y'all tomorrow" Angela said
Mia and Tasha got in the car going home. Mia was still pissed about everything.
"I love you sis. We got this" Tasha said
"I love you more and I know we do" Mia said
