"I mean, it's great to have the Omnitrix and all, but there might come a time when it's not enough." Ben says, punching a punching bag while Gwen holds it for him. "Gotta expand my repertoire." He adds. "Your repertoire?" Gwen asks. "Yeah." Ben replies, kicking the punching bag. "That's seavate, and this is karate." Ben says, demonstrating it to his cousin. "I know Ben. I taught it to you." Gwen tells him. "Yeah, well, here's some good old Marquis of Queens free boxing." He says, and Gwen facepalms. Then she pushes the punching bag, knocking her cousin down. "Good idea. Headbutt!" Ben gets up and charges at the punching bag, but Gwen grabs his hair. "Not that way. The other way." She tells him, letting go of his hair. "What other way?" Ben asks. "Tell me you're kidding." Gwen crosses her arms. "Okay, fun's over." Kevin interrupts, walking in with Aria close behind, wearing Ben's jacket.

"I've just set up a meeting for Ben." Kevin says, running to the boy and grabbing his arm. "With who?" Ben asks, confused. "It's important. Come on." Kevin persists, pulling Ben. "With who?" Gwen asks, looking at Aria, who looks away. "Ari?" Gwen presses. "The Forever Knights." Aria blurts out. "He scheduled a meeting with the Forever Knights." "No way!" Gwen says in disbelief. "Are you crazy?" Ben pulls his arm from Kevin's grip. "You let him?" Ben asks, turning to Aria. "I had no say in this." She says, putting her hands up in defeat. "They're in trouble. They need help." Kevin tells them. "So? They're not exactly friends of ours." Gwen points out. "Right. That means they wouldn't be reaching out unless they had a really good reason. Aren't you curious to find out why?" Kevin tries to persuade them. "Wait a minute, they paid you to come here and bring Ben to them, didn't they?" Gwen asks.

"Again, I had no say in this." Aria reminds, and Kevin scoffs and stutters. "That hurts. Don't you think I ever do anything out of the goodness in my heart?" Kevin asks, offended. "How much?" Gwen asks. "I cut them a deal. Traded them for some alien tech." Kevin confesses. "You didn't tell me that." Aria says from beside the boy. "He's got a point, though. If the knights are desperate enough to ask me for help we should at least hear what they have to say." Ben agrees.

"That's the most ridiculous story I've ever heard." Ben says once the blonde boy explains the situation to them. "No, it's all true. Everyone thinks dragons are creatures of myth, fiction. They're real, Ben. At least one was. And is." The blonde explains, leading the group through the castle. "Did you say is?" Ben asks. "A thousand years ago, a handful of knights battled a giant fire-breathing beast. They were the king's greatest warriors, but even they couldn't finish it off. All they could do was trap it and then build a stone fortress around it. Years went by, dozens of far-fetched dragon legends sprang up, but all the while the knights were passing the custody of the real beast down from father to son to grandson. Unfortunately, the dragon was invulnerable to every new weapon we tried on it. The latest was an alien quantum disassembler canon. We had high hopes for it. And still do, but the dragon escaped." The blonde shares. "Ben, we need you to help us." He says. "You're saying you want me to be a part of all this?" Ben asks, motioning to the tapestry. "Be a knight?" "Yes, Ben. Join us in our most nobel if causes." The blonde suggests.

"Do I get some of that cool armor?" Ben asks, and Aria karate chops him in the head. "Ow, what?" Ben winces, rubbing his head. "You see a bunch of old swords and axes, and you're ready to jump in and start playing knight in shining armor?" Gwen asks. "We barely know anything, right now." Aria adds. "Like?" Ben asks. "Like if there even is a dragon, like I mean, all they've got for proof are these things." Kevin chimes in, grabbing the tapestry and tearing it, and he gasps. "Sorry." He apologizes. "There most assuredly is a dragon. You have my word." A man says from behind them. "Ben, Kevin, Aria, Gwen, this is Connor. The greatest of all the Forever Knights." The blonde introduces them. "At your service or whatever you guys say." Ben shrugs, and Aria rolls her eyes. "What I say is, Forever Knights do not have doubts, so if you or your friends have them you do not belong with us." Connor tells Ben. "Chill out, you're the ones who asked for help." Aria tells him. "You insolent. The dragon will fall, by my hand." Connor claims. "Sure buddy, you couldn't get it now what makes you think you'll get it again?" Aria asks, aggravating Connor. "You taint the purity of our order by bringing this, this--" "This what?" Aria asks stepping closer to Connor with her eyes glowing red and shadow minions forming around them.

"My Lord," The blonde gets between them, and Ben pulls Aria back. "it's the only way." He reasons. The sound of beeping catches their attention, and they rush to the surveillance room. "We've been monitoring the military frequencies." The blonde shares, turning on the monitors. On the screen, they could see fighter jets getting attacked by the dragon. They launch missiles at it, but it isn't fazed, and it shoots fire at the jet, causing it to go down, but luckily the crew ejected out of it. The other jet shoots at the dragon and actually lands a hit with its missile, but it also meets the same fate as the first jet, and the dragon falls from the sky. "Are you sure you don't want my help?" Ben asks.

The group gets to the location, which happens to be near a gas station. They get out of their respective vehicles and see the dragon landing ahead of them. "Remember, all you need to do is stop it. Connor will take care of the rest." The blonde reminds. "If he can." Aria says, earning a glare from Connor, which she returns. "What's it gonna be this time? Humongousaur?" Gwen asks. "Nah, Humongo's too close to what I'm close to what I'll be fighting. Gotta figure that things got a lot more experience being a dragon than I have." Ben replies. "Thinking it through, huh?" Gwen asks. "Chromastone!" He shouts, transforming into the Crystalsapien, and runs at the dragon. The dragon breathes fire at him, pushing him back. The dragon stares at Chromastone, confused, and Chromastone shoots energy beams at it. When he stops the dragon whimpers and shakes his head. "Weird, but for a second there, I thought you were trying to tell me something." He points out, and Aria looks down in thought. The dragon glares at him and hits him with its wing, knocking him back, and then he breathes fire at him, which he dodges. Chromastone shoots another energy beam, knocking the dragon down.

The dragon recovers, and Chromastone continues shooting energy beams at it. "Nice one, Ben." Kevin cheers, and from the corner of her eye, Aria could see Connor running forward with a weapon. "Indeed." He says, propping the weapon on his shoulder and aiming it at them. "Ben's too close to the dragon." The boy reminds Connor. "Pity." Connor states, shooting the laser at Chromastone and the dragon. "The knights exist for one purpose and one purpose alone and you know exactly what it is, so are you or are you not one of us?" Connor asks and the boy accepts what's happening. Aria stares with wide eyes as Chromastone falls to his knees then she turns to Connor, who's the cause of all this. She tries using techno-energy control but doesn't get the results she wanted although the gun did overheat, causing Connor to throw it and stare at it, confused. The dragon uses this as a chance to fly away and Ben detransforms and walks over to them. "We need to talk." Ben glares at him. "You used me." He says. "It wasn't personal. But if you or your friends get in my way again it will become so." Connor threatens, picking up the gun. "Try me, human." Aria seethes, her eyes once again turning red.

Connor stares at her for a second before walking away. Ben glares at him and transforms into Humungousaur, pinning Connor and the blonde boy against their vehicle. "You know where the dragon's headed, don't you?" He asks, and Connor just laughs. "If you're trying to scare us it's gonna take a lot more than a strippling with a fancy wristwatch, right?" Connor asks, looking at the blonde. "Absolutely. We've taken a sacred oath." He agrees. Aria appears beside Humungousaur in her shadow form and leans closer to the blonde not saying a word. "6200 Prospect Boulevard where the 12 and 408 freeways meet." The blonde blurts out. "What?" Aria asks in a disembodied voice. "It's where the dragon's going." He clarifies. "Squire!" Connor shouts. "The knights found a huge relic at the same time they caught the dragon. They didn't know what it was or what it did, so they hid it for safekeeping. They sent the relic to our lab to see if it had any technology they could use against the dragon. When it flew across the Atlantic we figured it was connected to the relic somehow." The squire explains and turns away from Aria. "And that's all I know, I swear!" He adds.

Aria and Humungousaur look at each other, nod satisfied with his answer, and go back to their normal forms. "That gun's broken, by the way. Aria tells Connor. "Thanks, blondie!" She and Ben walk back to the car where Kevin and Gwen wait. They get in the car and Kevin drives off. "That thing was both cool and creepy." Kevin tells Aria. "That's kinda the point of it, to hide in the shadows and to scare people." Aria replies, leaning back in her seat.

°•☆°•☆°•☆°•☆°•☆°•

"I'm telling you, when it roared there was a pattern. And something else, that wasn't fire coming out of its mouth, it was more like a laser." Ben explains. "So you're saying the dragon was trying to talk to you. No way." Kevin dismisses Ben. "I heard it too. I'll try to speak to it." Aria chimes in and everyone goes silent from confusion, causing the girl to sigh. "I was taught lots of alien languages so maybe I can speak to it if not I can just use my energy form to communicate with it. Although I don't want to use that form." She explains. "Okay, even if it was talking to you what would it be saying? 'I'm gonna chew you like bubblegum?'" Kevin asks with a smirk. "I've got a theory. Pull over." He tells Kevin.

They get out of the car, and Ben opens the trunk and pulls out a device. "I knew I'd seen one of these before. What is it?" Ben asks. "Galvan Universal Translator. Translates any language into any other in real-time. Pretty common alien tech." Kevin explains. "The dragon had something like this near its throat. It looked busted." Ben points out. "Then all we have to do is replace the broken one with this one." Gwen states. "So, I'm getting benched?" Aria asks. "Yes." Kevin nods.

°•☆°•☆°•☆°•☆°•☆°•

The group gets to their destination and gets out of the car and Ben transforms into an Arachnichimp. "Spidermonkey!" He shouts, grabbing the translator from Gwen, climbing up a building, and disappearing. "Ben, wait for us!" Gwen called out to her cousin, but he was already gone. Aria shakes her head and runs to catch up with him and she makes it just in time to protect him from an attack with Gwen and Kevin getting there soon after. The dragon turns to them, and Kevin throws a plank at the dragon. It growls and shoots lasers at them, but Gwen puts up a shield, redirecting the laser to it, causing it to stumble back. Spidermonkey uses this as the time to latch onto its neck and place the translator on it before running back to the group. "Leave me alone! Leave me alone!" The dragon shouts. "It can talk." Spidermonkey says.

"Of course, I can talk. Why wouldn't I be able to talk?" It asks. "Well, I-I thought you were a, uh..." Spidermonkey trails off when the dragon leans closer. "A what?" It asks, scaring the monkey. "A-A m-monster." Spidermonkey stutters out. "Yeah, well I thought you were a monkey." It fires back. "Oh, I don't really look like this." He says and detransforms. "See?" Ben asks, and the dragon stands back up to its full height. "Sorry, all mammals look alike to me." The dragon dismisses. "It's not just you. Ben does sort of favor a monkey. Smells like one, too." Kevin fans his hand over his nose for emphasis. "Okay, enough with that." Ben tells Kevin. "What do you want?" He asks, turning to the dragon. "I want my ship back. My tracking signal says it's here." It replies. "Ship?" Ben repeats. "That must be the relic the knights have been talking about." He notes. "The knights? Are you one of the knights?" The dragon asks in a low tone. "Ew, no. We hate those guys." Aria chimes in.

"They asked me to help catch you. Back when I thought you were a monster." Ben explains. "The knights are the monsters. They attacked me for no reason right after I landed, broke my translator box then locked me up in that dungeon!" It explains. "You sure you're not one of them?" It leans closer to Ben. "Me? No way, I wouldn't be caught dead in that stupid armor." Ben denies causing Aria, Gwen, and Kevin to share a look. "Okay then." The dragon turns to leave. "Wait!" Gwen stops it. "You're an alien, right? What were you doing here?" She asks. "I was making an interstellar map. Why would anyone come to an insignificant rock?" It replies. "You're a map maker?" Ben asks. "And a darn good one, too." It adds. "I don't doubt that." Aria agrees with it. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got business." The dragon says, walking away. "Finding your ship and then heading home, right?" Gwen asks. "Oh, I'll be heading home all right. Just as soon as there's not a single one of those Forever Knights left alive." It answers, and its eyes and mouth glow yellow, and then it roars.

"His translator box must be broken." Gwen notes. "Sorry, Gwen. Sometimes a roar is a roar." Kevin corrects. "As much as I hate the Forever Knights, I don't think killing them is the right choice." Aria tells the dragon, flying up to it. "Yeah, it could be a big misunderstanding." Ben adds. "Misunderstanding?" It asks, and Aria sighs. "Uh, okay, maybe misunderstanding is a little too weak." Ben backtracks. "A thousand years those Forever Knights stole from me. A thousand years!" It shouts. "Well, how long is that in dragon years?" Ben asks. "It's a long time. To be away from your home, your family, the baby's probably flying by now." It says, and Aria looks down. "I know how it feels to be away from your home for a long time." Aria mumbles and the dragon looks at her. "So you understand that this needs to be done." It tells her, and she floats back down to stand beside Gwen. "I say we help him." Aria tells her friends. "No--" She gets cut off by an explosion outside. Outside, Connor knelt on the ground with the gun propped on his shoulder as knights piled out of the trucks behind him.

Connor shoots the walls above the teens, and they cover their heads while the dragon roars. "You three go out there and tell them this is all a big mis--" Ben stops and turns to look at the dragon who stared at him. "Uh, tragedy. I'll work on the dragon." Ben instructs. "Roger that." Aria answers for them, and they make their way outside. The knights stand beside Connor with their laser lances ready, and Connor prepares to shoot when the teens walk out with their hands up. "Hold it! Don't shoot!" "You don't understand!" "I'll make you regret this!" Kevin, Gwen, and Aria say simultaneously. "Trying to save the beast again, are you?" Connor asks, lowering the gun and standing up. "It's really an alien. It just wants to go home." Gwen tries to reason. "No. It's not gonna escape us. Not this time." Connor dismisses. "No?" Aria asks, glaring at him. "All he was doing was making a map. He wasn't gonna hurt anybody. He didn't even mean to scare anyone." Gwen explains and Connor just stares at her. "This is ridiculous." Aria mumbles. "Ridiculous?" Connor asks. "I took an oath, passed down from 50 generations. We all did." Connor says, placing his hand on his chest. "All right then, I'll take one now." Aria tells him, placing a hand over her heart.

"Anyone who tries to harm any harmless alien will have to go through me, Aria, the energy being." She says with her eyes closed. "There, now do you still want to harm him?" She asks, tilting her head to the side. "You think this is a joke?" Connor asks. "If I thought this was serious, I would've destroyed your weapons by now. But to me it is, so I'm making this easy for you." Aria replies. "You think a puny girl like you could take us on?" Connor challenges. "First, I'm not puny like you pathetic humans. Second, I--" Connor activates his gun, not wanting to hear anymore. "Heads up!" Kevin tackles her to the ground, preventing her from getting hit by the laser, and the knights march forward. "This is why I hate most humans." Aria groans. "Thanks, though, Kev." She tells the boy. "Don't mention it." He says and helps her up. A knight comes up behind Gwen and tries to restrain her and ends up throwing her, so Kevin runs over to him and knocks him out. Some more knights approach him, and he somewhat regrets doing what he just did. "Uh, time out?" He asks, but they throw him to the ground and beat him up.

He absorbs the stone and pushes them away before beating them up. He then tries running to Connor, who shoots him with a laser, knocking him into a wall, and his powers wear off. Gwen tries fending off the knights, but they overpower her and restrain her, leaving Aria, who looks at Connor as he approaches Kevin ready to shoot him, but Aria wraps energy around him and slams him into a wall, causing him to drop the gun. Connor tries to break free, but Aria's hold on him is too strong. "I was trying to be nice, but you shot at me." Aria seethes, squeezing him. "Hold it! Let him go!" A knight says, causing Aria to turn to them, seeing Gwen and Kevin in their hold. "How about you let go of them first." Aria suggests cocking an eyebrow. "Don't do it, Ari." Kevin tells the girl. Aria stares at Kevin, then Gwen before sighing and releasing her hold on Connor, leaving him to fall to the ground, and the knight pushes Gwen and Kevin, so Aria goes to make sure they're okay. Connor picks up the gun, and he along with the knights marches to the warehouse where the ship is starting to leave.

The knights run out of the way and Connor tries shooting it but his lasers get blocked by a force field. The ship knocks Connor to the side and takes off into the sky. Connor runs out and continues shooting at it but misses, and Aria, having enough, raises her hand in Connor's direction and closes her fist, frying its circuits. Seeing the gun now useless, Connor drops it and walks away, and the teens regroup. "How did you do it?" Gwen asks her cousin. "Huh?" Ben looks at her confused. "You know, get the dragon to go." Gwen nudges him with her shoulder. "I just... Oh, I used my head." Ben replies, pointing at his head. "Headbutt, huh? An old one, but it always works." Kevin wraps his arm around Ben. "You're really coming along kid." He says, pulling Ben away. "Thanks, Kevin, glad you understand." Ben tells him. He turns back to wink at Gwen then his eyes land on Aria, who looks sad. Gwen smiles at her cousin and then looks at Aria, confused. "What's wrong?" She asks. "It's nothing. We should get going." Aria replies, following behind the boys.
