We were driving back to the trap house after our camping adventure. It was bittersweet driving further and further away from the site. I had created so many good memories there but it was now time to prepare to go back to Texas.
"We have one more surprise if you two are up for it..." Sam said from the drivers seat
"Of course we are! May as well make our last night worth it." Amy said enthusiastically.
I laughed and shook my head after seeing how happy she was. It was nice seeing her this happy. Maybe a bit too happy tough.
"What are we doing?" I asked
Sam and Colby looked at each other, shaking their heads and smiling. Great, we weren't going to find out were we?
"That's staying a surprise, once again. When we get to the location we will tell you what the dress code is." Colby spoke while turning around, looking at me then at Amy.
Shortly, the sun had set and the lights of LA began to fill the night sky. We pulled into a massive house. There was a gate out the front and palm trees surrounding the house.
"No way..." Amy mumbled, her mouth wide open and her eyes glistening with joy.
I didn't recognise where we were but it was clear Amy knew. Sam put the car in park and we all got out. We grabbed our stuff from the trunk and headed to the front door. Colby pushed open the door.
We were greeted with smiles, balloons and a lot of yelling.
"Welcome to the trap house!" Everyone cheered.
By this point, Amy looked like she could cry from joy. I was still confused but was happy to see the warm welcome we had received.
Everyone huddled over and began to introduce themselves. One by one they pulled Amy and I in for hugs separately. I found out the people in front of me were Aaron, Corey, Jake, Devin, Tara and Katrina, but Kat for short. They were all such lovely people.
We walked over to the living room where Corey had turned on netflix. Sam and Kat were on a big beanbag looking thing. Colby and Jake sat next to each other. Aaron and Jake were on the opposite side of the couch and Amy and I were in the middle of the boys.
The group voted on watching The Conjuring which i thought was a great choice. Maybe because i loved horror but the movie was just really good in general.
After about 40 minutes, everyone had either fallen asleep or ventured off to do their own thing. Amy was upstairs with the girls, Sam and Katrina had fallen asleep, Aaron was upstairs doing something and Jake was cuddled up in a ball on the end of the couch. Colby and I were the only ones that were sort of watching the movie. I picked up my phone and opened up instagram.

I admired the connection between the two boys. They were so passionate about what they do and have so much love for each other. It reminds me of Amy and I.

"Lily are you okay?" Colby whispered.
"Hm? I'm fine sorry just zoned out i guess." I said looking back at him. He nodded his head then looked at Sam. After noticing he was asleep, he stood up and motioned for me to follow him. I stood up and walked towards him.
He bent down slightly and cupped his hands around my ear.
"house tour?" he whispered in my ear.
I smiled and nodded my head.
He led me to the kitchen, another room that had a bar looking thing in it and another living room. He showed me the downstairs bathroom that was honestly kind of trippy since there was so many mirrors. Colby showed me the garage which consisted of so many random objects. We exited and walked back to the main part of the house.
Colby turned around, smiled at me and gave me his hand. I nervously grabbed it as he guided me upstairs. His hands engulfed mine, the cold metal of his rings sent butterflies all around me.
No lily....you know Amy is obsessed with him.
I shook the thought away. I wasn't going to let Amy's love for Colby to ruin this moment. It didn't mean anything anyways.
Colby took me all throughout the upstairs. It was all pretty similar. Corey's room however i didn't get to see since the girls were in there and wouldn't let me in. Something about "planning a surprise" for me. We walked towards the other side of the upstairs.
"Uh sorry for the mess..we hadn't originally planned for you guys to come here." Colby said while looking down shamefully.
"Colby i don't care nothing could be worse than my room at home." I laughed.
To no surprise at all, i was correct. The only part that he must of found 'messy' was his unmade bed and a few clothes in the corner. His room was felt peaceful. It was very Colby like. He guided me out the room and into Sam's room. I giggled, the pink coloured walls going unnoticed.
We finished up the tour and he took me back downstairs. We were just sitting on the couch, scrolling on our phones, till multiple footsteps trailed down the stairs. The girls were laughing as they walked towards us.
"Whats so funny?" I said, glancing up from my phone. I looked at Colby, searching for an answer but he looked just as confused as i was.
"Sooo...who's up for a party tonight? In honour of you guys visiting LA..and maybe also because a party could be fun right now" Kat said while grinning.
"I mean sure but where are we going? Hang on is this what you and Sam were talking about?" I said, shooting a look at Colby. He just started to smile while nodding his head. I looked over at the girls, knowing that I would be dragged into this no matter what. They all squealed, grabbed my hand and practically dragged me up the stairs into Devin and Corey's room.
Multiple dresses were laid out perfectly on the bed, makeup was set on the ground and they had plugged in hair straighteners and hair curlers. Kat connected her phone to a speaker and began to play some music. I definitely needed this.
The girls ushered me onto the floor as we began to do our makeup. Devin did mine as it was clear she was the best ehre at doing it.
"Nothing crazy. All natural" I said
She smiled and nodded her head.
Shortly after, all of our hair and makeup was done. Tara walked towards me with a dress in her hands, holding it up against me.
"Perfect. Go put it on. You have to wear it." She said eagerly
It was nothing special my I have to admit I looked really good in it. The black mini dress hugged around my waist as it curved over my hips. The spaghetti straps complimented my shoulders and the necklace i was wearing really added to the outfit. I walked out and was greeted with all the girls starring at me, their jaws practically stuck to the floor. I twirled while smiling as they began to whistle and shower me in compliments.
By the time everyone else had put on their outfits, guests had already started to arrive. I honestly thought it was just going to be something small but people swarmed through the house. Amy guided me to the kitchen, stopping infront of all the drinks. Jake wandered over, Sam and Colby on either side.
"Shots?' Jake asked as he held up a glass bottle of liquior.
We all agreed as Jake began to fill each of our glasses.
"What is it?' I asked
"Tequila duh" Colby said picking up his glass.
"I've never had it before" I picked up my glass but before i could bring it to my lips, Jake forced another drink into my hands. It was a chaser.
"You're going to need it. Prepare for a night you wont remember!" On that note, we clinked our glasses together and took the shots. The warm liquid burned down my throat as my mouth filled with saliva. That was probably the worst shot i've ever had. Vodka was definitely my go to.
We took a few more shots of tquila, but before i could even process, the alcohol had taken over and guided my body out to where everybody else was. This was the night where i just want to let go and enjoy my last day in LA, knowing i would never be back. My body swayed in time with the music, not having a care in the world as i let myself move to the rhythm.
A pair of arms snaked around me but i was too drunk to care. My hips pressed against the stranger, grinding against the stranger in time with the music. I felt so free, like nobody was judging. In all fairness, everybody else was hammered so they would most likely not remember any of this. The hands of the stranger trickled up and down my body as i continued to move to the music.
"You look beautiful Lily"
The voice rang through my ears, a sense of familiarity building. I spun around to see what this person looked like and how they were. Blue eyes met mine, our gaze never breaking.
"Colby"
He smiled as his hands remained on my hips, still swaying to the music. I couldn't help but smile after registering his compliment. I trailed my hands up his chest, feeling each muscle as my hands guided their way up, resting on his shoulders. The sounds of the crowded house drowned out my thoughts. I hadn't felt this good in a long while. His eyes scanned my body repeatedly. My stomach filled with nervousness as his gaze met mine. I know it was just the alcohol taking over but i couldn't help but think about what his lips tasted like. I looked up at him, only to find him looking at my lips too.
Without a second wasted, Colby bent down and connected his lips with mine. Electricity shot through my body as i smiled into the kiss. I felt everything slow down as him and i kissed. It was as if nobody else was around us. I never wanted it to end, knowing i wouldn't remember this.
"Lily!" A voice shouted from behind me.
I disconnected my lips from Colby, slowly turning around. I was met with a teary eyed Amy. Emotions seemed to fly through her. A mix of hurt, anger and jealousy.
Tears streamed down her face as she stormed out of the house.
I called out her name, pushing past everybody, trying to catch up with her. As soon as i exited the house, i spotted Amy past the gates, phone in her hand.
"Amy.." I called out.
"Dont fucking talk to me." She spat. "I'm calling an uber to take me to a hotel. Dont text or call me. I can't believe you!"
"Amy..im sorry i dont know what happened. He kissed me!" I assured her. She just rolled her eyes and turned around. No matter what i said, nothing could change how she currently felt towards me and this messy situation. Shortly after, her uber arrived and she got in the car. It sped off into the dark street.
