As Victor stood on the rooftop under the eerie glow of the Red Blood Moon, his eyes remained fixed on the unfolding chaos that played out before the imposing Crimson Tower. The scene was a stark reminder of the lawlessness that gripped this city, where supernatural forces and ruthless individuals held dominion.

In the midst of the turmoil, the undead troops guarding the entrance gate of the Crimson Tower faced a brutal and relentless onslaught from Juggernaut. The burly man, known as the Tyrant, wielded his power with ruthless efficiency, leaving a trail of destruction in his wake.

"Hahahaha! Get the hell out of the way you scums!"

Victor's stoic gaze bore witness to the violence and brutality that had become a hallmark of Lawless City. It was a city where every act, every display of power, and every drop of blood spilled held significance, and the chaos that unfolded beneath the Red Blood Moon was a reflection of the unforgiving nature of this perilous realm.

Victor's calm and stoic countenance shifted as a new figure entered the chaotic battlefield. It was Yukime, the Spirit Fox with her nine waving tails, who arrived with an air of elegance. With a simple yet graceful movement of her fan, she unleashed her power upon the undead, extinguishing them with ease.

Yukime's presence and her formidable abilities were a testament to the supernatural forces that held dominion in Lawless City. The way she dispatched the undead spoke of her power and authority, and it was clear that her arrival had shifted the dynamics of the ongoing struggle.

Victor watched in silence, his gaze now focused on the Spirit Fox. Her appearance on the battlefield was a new variable in the ever-unfolding story of this lawless realm, and her role in the chaos that played out before the Crimson Tower held its own mysteries and secrets yet to be unraveled.

Griffon landed gracefully on Victor's shoulder, drawing his attention away from the unfolding scene below. The blue hawk had returned with vital information.

"Victor," Griffon spoke, his voice a mixture of urgency and relief, "the civilians have been successfully evacuated by our subordinates. They are safe for now."

Victor nodded, a sense of satisfaction washing over him. "Good. That's one less worry in this chaos. Now, we need to uncover the secrets hidden within the Crimson Tower. This city holds too many enigmas, and I intend to unravel them."

With a shared sense of purpose, Victor and Griffon continued to watch the events below, poised to confront the mysteries and challenges that Lawless City presented.

Griffon's keen eyes scanned the city below, where chaos reigned and supernatural forces clashed. His sharp vision caught a glimpse of a group that seemed out of place amidst the turmoil.

"Victor," Griffon began cautiously, "it seems that Shadow Garden is also in this city. I've spotted them in a few spots, but their goals remain unclear."

Victor's gaze narrowed as he considered this new development. "I know that, Griffy. The big boss is here" Victor chuckled when he saw Shadow's suddenness, which interfered with the fight between Juggernaut and Yukime.

"Wow, that guy is really something. He'll always show up at anything interesting, didn't he?" Said Griffon. "I don't know what that guy thinks. Honestly, I don't care, but if he bothers me to uncover the mystery about the Queen of Blood, I won't hesitate to fight him."

.

"Die you damn fox!" The Tyrant tried to attack the Fox Spirit with his big axe, but Yukime easily parried him with her umbrella. "Goodness, you're so noisy. Stop babbling and blowing out your stinky breath"

CLASH

"You're the one who stinks, you damn animal!"

Victor remained perched on the rooftop, his gaze unwavering as he watched the fierce conflict between Juggernaut and Yukime, the Spirit Fox. The tension in the air was palpable, and it seemed that this confrontation would escalate further.

But then, as if stepping out of the shadows themselves, a new figure entered the fray. It was Shadow, the enigmatic leader of Shadow Garden. His arrival carried an air of intrigue and uncertainty, and his interference injected an element of unpredictability into the battle.

Victor's azure eyes widened as he observed this unexpected development, his curiosity piqued. The presence of Shadow, Juggernaut, and Yukime, each a formidable force in their own right, marked a convergence of powerful individuals in the heart of Lawless City. It was a moment that held the potential to reveal hidden secrets and ignite new conflicts in this enigmatic and perilous realm.

"You..." The two rulers widened their eyes when they saw the arrival of someone they didn't expect.

"I am Shadow. Lurk in the shadows, and hunt the shadows"

"Shadow? Ah, the boss of a gang that kicks the ass of those damn priests." Juggernaut noticed. "The leader of the mystery organization that recently wreaked havoc in Midgar, right?" Yukime is the same way. Shadow just kept quiet, didn't respond to anything.

"Whatever, that's none of my business. Catch you later, she-fox. Next time i'll kill you"

BREAK

Juggernaut destroys the entrance gate of the Crimson Tower and then goes inside. His goal is also clear, to hunt down the vampires and the Queen of Blood.

"The moon is red, the frenzy has begun" Shadow muttered.

"Frenzy? Are you referring to this current state with the ghouls?" Said Yukime. "Oh yeah, that Red Moon Legend where they say three kingdoms fell when it was in the sky? Sounds good to me, in that case, those bats will finally start to give me a decent workout" Juggernaut headed towards the Crimson Tower, ignoring Shadow's presence in front of him.

"Then, i'll excuse myself" As Juggernaut and Yukime prepared to depart, their confrontation with Shadow having been disrupted, another enigmatic figure stepped into the scene beneath the eerie glow of the Red Blood Moon.

"Looks like there's a party here, may I join in?" This figure, clad in a bluish-black robe with a hood drawn low to obscure his features, and a mask concealing his face, revealed himself with an air of mystique. It was Victor, known as Nero Angelo, leaning casually beside the entrance gate of the Crimson Tower.

The arrival of Nero Angelo added a new layer of complexity to the unfolding events. His presence amidst the chaos and supernatural forces hinted at a deeper connection to the mysteries of Lawless City, and his intentions remained shrouded in secrecy.

As the Red Blood Moon cast its eerie light over this enigmatic confrontation, the convergence of powerful individuals within the heart of Lawless City held the promise of revelation and conflict, with the fate of the city hanging in the balance.

The sudden appearance of Nero Angelo, like a specter emerging from the air, drew astonished reactions from both Yukime and Juggernaut. Their eyes widened in shock, the confrontation that had taken place only moments ago now eclipsed by the presence of this mysterious figure.

Yukime's nine tails flicked in unease, and she exchanged a glance with Juggernaut. "Who is he?" she muttered, her voice carrying a tinge of curiosity and apprehension.

Juggernaut, still recovering from their earlier battle, nodded slowly. "I don't know, but he appeared out of nowhere"

On the other side of the enigmatic trio, Shadow, concealed beneath his hood, watched the arrival of Nero Angelo with a faint, knowing smile. It was a reunion that had been long anticipated, and he recognized the enigmatic figure immediately.

Their history and their connection remained shrouded in secrets, and this unexpected encounter marked a new chapter in their intricate and mysterious relationship.

Beneath his hood, Shadow's voice held a note of curiosity as he asked Nero Angelo, "It's been a while, Nero Angelo. What brings you here? Do you seek to partake in this frenzy under the Red Blood Moon?"

Nero Angelo's response was measured and deliberate. He turned his gaze upward, directing his attention to the pinnacle of the Crimson Tower, and remained silent for a moment. His intent was clear: his goal lay within the tower, where the Blood Queen, Elizabeth, resided.

Without uttering a word, his actions spoke volumes. His presence here was not merely coincidental, and it was evident that he had a deeper purpose and agenda, one that was inexorably tied to the secrets and supernatural forces that lurked within the tower.

"Wait, that name..."

"Nero...Angelo..." Yukime and Juggernaut shared a moment of realization as Shadow mentioned Nero Angelo's name. The enigmatic figure known as Nero Angelo appeared to be as shrouded in mystery as Shadow himself, yet they had distinct and contrasting roles within this enigmatic world.

While Shadow had taken the path of leadership, guiding an organization like Shadow Garden, Nero Angelo appeared to be a lone wolf, a solitary force in this turbulent realm. Recent reports had linked him to the God of War Festival incident in the Midgar Empire, where he had teamed up with Shadow against formidable opponents like Iris Midgar and Beatrix. These rumors had given rise to speculations about their connection, despite the fact that they were not true comrades.

In this chaotic city, where supernatural forces, powerful individuals, and enigmatic organizations vied for dominance, the presence of both Nero Angelo and Shadow only added to the layers of intrigue and complexity that defined Lawless City's enigmatic tapestry.

The understanding that passed between Juggernaut and Nero Angelo was palpable. They shared a common goal, and the enigmatic figure's intentions were as clear to Juggernaut as they were to himself.

However, Juggernaut's fury flared as he perceived Nero Angelo as a potential interference in his hunt for the Queen of Blood. With a menacing brandish of his massive ax, the Tyrant positioned the weapon right above Nero Angelo's head, his tone filled with unbridled determination.

"Listen here" he growled, his voice a low, menacing rumble, "I don't give a damn about who you are or what you want. I'm here for the Blood Queen, and I won't let anyone stand in my way. Interfere, and you'll suffer consequences you can't fathom."

The tension in the air crackled as Juggernaut issued his challenge, the clash of powerful individuals within Lawless City's enigmatic realm threatening to ignite a new chapter of conflict.

Shadow, concealed within his hood, couldn't help but chuckle at the audacity of Juggernaut's challenge to Nero Angelo. He knew better than to underestimate the enigmatic figure.

With a cautionary tone, Shadow offered a piece of advice to the Tyrant. "I wouldn't do that if I were you," he warned, his voice carrying the weight of experience. "Fighting him without proper preparation would be akin to committing suicide. I've crossed paths with him before, and I can attest to the strength and dread he wields."

The warning was delivered with a measure of respect for the perilous nature of the enigmatic figure known as Nero Angelo. Lawless City held its share of formidable individuals, and it was clear that caution was paramount when dealing with this particular entity.

The Tyrant's cruel and stubborn nature pushed him to disregard Shadow's warning, and he lunged at Nero Angelo with the intent to attack.

"Die you little shit!"

SLASH

However, what transpired in the next moment was nothing short of astonishing. In the blink of an eye, Nero Angelo appeared behind Juggernaut, his movements as swift as a light. With an almost casual motion, he sheathed his katana, and the distinctive CLICK of the blade was the harbinger of impending destruction.

BREAK

In the next instant, the Tyrant's massive ax was cleanly cleaved in two, the once-feared weapon rendered powerless before Nero Angelo's astounding speed and skill. The sheer swiftness and precision of the enigmatic figure left a profound impression, a testament to his formidable abilities and the dangerous depths of the enigma he represented.

Juggernaut's eyes widened in sheer shock and disbelief as he felt a searing pain in his right hand, fresh blood flowing from a wound he couldn't comprehend. The swift and precise attack had occurred in an instant, leaving him dumbfounded and vulnerable.

His voice was laced with astonishment as he stammered, "I... I didn't even see it coming..."

Yukime, equally bewildered, had her tails flick nervously as she attempted to make sense of the situation. "What... What just happened? How did he...?"

"I know what i'm capable of. You think to make a fool of me?" The enigmatic figure known as Nero Angelo had demonstrated his incredible speed and skill, leaving those who bore witness to this encounter in awe of the supernatural forces that governed Lawless City. The battle had taken an unforeseen turn, and the mysteries and enigmas of this perilous realm only deepened with each passing moment.

With a measured sense of authority, Shadow turned to leave the scene, his warning lingering in the air. He spoke with the gravity of someone who knew the risks involved.

"That's what happens when you dare to fight him," he cautioned, his voice carrying the weight of experience. "He's an anomaly, a force that operates on a different plane altogether. Even for beings as powerful as both of you, he is a formidable adversary."

The realization had been made clear in their brief encounter, and the enigmatic figure known as Nero Angelo remained a formidable enigma that few could truly comprehend. As Shadow departed, his message served as a solemn reminder of the complexities and dangers that defined Lawless City and its enigmatic inhabitants.

As Shadow prepared to leave, an unexpected and audacious figure, the White Demon, leaped from the top of the guard post, fixated on targeting Shadow.

SLASH

However, the encounter was brief and ended abruptly. The Crimson Tower Watchdog, formidable as he was, met the same fate as Juggernaut's ax. With a single, precise slash from Shadow, the Watchdog's body was torn into pieces, leaving no room for further opposition.

"Wh-What the..."

The swift and decisive conclusion served as a stark reminder of the ruthless and enigmatic forces that defined Lawless City, where power and danger lurked around every corner. Shadow's path remained one of mystery and intrigue, and the enigmatic realm he navigated was fraught with peril and unpredictability.

"The moon is red....The frenzy has begun... we're out of time..."

Bury The Light In The Shadows II

.

As the commotion subsided in front of the Crimson Tower's entrance gate, the enigmatic figures who had converged in this tumultuous city each went their separate ways. Shadow, Nero Angelo, Yukime, and Juggernaut retreated, each with their own enigmatic objectives and secrets, leaving the enigmatic city to continue its chaotic dance under the ominous light of the Red Blood Moon.

In Lawless City, where mysteries, supernatural forces, and powerful individuals intertwined, the enigmas and conflicts that defined this perilous realm remained a compelling tapestry of intrigue and danger, destined to unfold in unpredictable ways.

Amidst the chaos and enigmatic encounters in Lawless City, two girls made their way to the top of the Crimson Tower, their shared objective a mystery to all but themselves. As they conversed on their journey, their voices and intentions remained shrouded in secrecy, their footsteps echoing through the shadowy corridors of this enigmatic realm.

Claire, her expression determined, spoke first. "We have to get to the top. My brother is there, and I won't let him become a part of that shit."

Mary, her gaze unwavering, responded, "And I won't stop until I've put an end to the Blood Queen. This is my chance."

Their shared goal, one to rescue a kidnapped brother and the other to vanquish a powerful vampire, set them on a perilous journey to the top of the Crimson Tower. In this enigmatic city under the ominous Red Blood Moon, their destinies remained intertwined as they ascended toward their respective objectives, the mysteries of Lawless City unfolding around them.

Claire, her curiosity piqued, asked Mary, "Mary, you mentioned once that you're the oldest vampire hunter. How long have you been doing this?"

Their conversation provided a brief respite from the enigmatic journey to the top of the Crimson Tower, offering a glimpse into Mary's experiences and the mysteries that had brought her to this moment.

Claire's curiosity continued as she inquired further, "And when me met the Shadow Garden members back there, what did they mean by 'Haven'? What's that all about?"

Mary, her expression carrying a hint of reserve, responded, "Claire, you're quite inquisitive, you know. There are things that are best left as they are, and everyone has their own secrets, you know that. I won't pry into yours, and you won't pry into mine"

She continued, her tone softening just a touch, "But I can tell you this much. I've lived for this moment for a long time, and my goal is as clear as day: the Blood Queen"

The mysteries and secrets that surrounded these two girls and their shared journey only deepened as they ascended the tower. In Lawless City, where enigmas abounded, their destinies remained intertwined, their paths inexorably leading them toward their objectives, no matter how much they kept hidden.

BOOM

"What in the world just happened?"

"This magical energy..."

The sudden tremors that rocked the Crimson Tower were enough to stop Claire and Mary in their tracks. Their gazes turned towards the source of the disturbance, where Juggernaut, the Tyrant, was mercilessly slaughtering vampires with his newly acquired axe. The formidable and relentless figure continued his pursuit of the Queen of Blood, adding to the enigmatic tapestry of chaos and power that defined Lawless City.

"They say you have to crush the heart to kill it, but you're still so weak. Well, whatever. There are plenty more where he came from. Now, answer me, Losers. Where can i find the Blood Queen?" Juggernaut's cold, unyielding stare fixated on the group of vampires that remained in his path. His expression bore a cruel, ominous promise of impending doom. In that moment, he was the embodiment of unrelenting vengeance, and the remaining vampires faced a fate that left no room for mercy.

The confrontation in this enigmatic city continued to escalate, as the Tyrant's pursuit of the Queen of Blood drove him to new heights of brutality and determination.

.

Meanwhile, Victor monitored from a distance, from a ruined pillar of the Crimson Tower. Witnessing the brutality of the tyrant who slaughtered the vampires without mercy.

"Well, Juggernaut, The Tyrant. Truly a suitable name for him" he chuckled, observing the brutal display of violence from his vantage point, Victor couldn't help but wonder about the figures below. He muttered to himself, "Claire... What brings you to this forsaken place?"

His gaze turned to the red-haired girl, and he muttered with curiosity, "And who's that with her? She's definitely not human." As Victor continued to watch the red-haired girl, his innate abilities honed by the blood of Sparda allowed him to sense the subtle energy within her. With a practiced discernment, he detected the unmistakable essence of a vampire. The similarity in her scent to the vampires he had encountered on his journey left no room for doubt.

BUGH

SLASH

Victor's eyes widened in shock as he witnessed the sudden and merciless assault by Juggernaut on Claire and Mary. The brutal strike to Claire's face and the vicious slash to Mary's abdomen left no room for mercy, revealing the raw, unrelenting power of the Tyrant.

.

"I thought you'd be better than all those gruntlings, but maybe my instincts are getting rusty" The Tyrant looked down on the girls who had been hit hard by his attacks.

STAB

"Huh?" He was confused and felt something pricking his feet, and it was Claire's sword. "Hahaha, you're pretty tough! Most guys i fight are down after the first punch"

"You're the second who's ever managed to hit me in the face!" Claire jumped away to retreat to Mary's side, checking her state. "Well, isn't that an honor!"

Claire, her face a mask of concern, quickly retreated to Mary's side. She anxiously examined the vampire hunter's condition, and her voice trembled as she spoke, "Mary, are you okay? Oh my...no...."

Mary, despite the severity of her wound, managed a weak nod and whispered, "I'm... I'm fine. Just... let me..."

SMOOCH

"E-eh? Wh-what are you-"

RUMBLE

Claire's shock and confusion deepened as she witnessed Mary's unexpected actions. The vampire hunter leaned in and, with a kiss, drew blood from Claire's bleeding lips. The surreal and intense moment continued as Mary's wound miraculously healed, and she regained her strength, enveloped in a dark, reddish aura.

"Well-well, you damn bat"

SHOOT

CLASH

CLASH

Mary's blood bullets streaked through the air with deadly precision, but Juggernaut, the unyielding Tyrant, parried each projectile with a hearty laugh. The fierce and intense battle between them raged on, each of them demonstrating their formidable power.

"Hahaha! Now this is the real fight! But i'm...still stronger!"

DOOM

Juggernaut's relentless strength and brutality proved to be a formidable force, as he effortlessly destroyed Mary's blood bullets one after the other. His sheer power and determination left no room for respite or escape, setting the stage for an intense battle of wills within the enigmatic confines of Lawless City.

"It's been so long, the blood isn't assimilating!" Even though she got the buff from Claire's blood, Mary still couldn't beat Juggernaut. The Tyrant's power and brutality is absolute.

SWOOSH

In a moment of terrifying clarity, Claire's eyes widened as she saw Juggernaut, the relentless Tyrant, close in on her with his massive axe. It felt as if time had slowed down, and the impending strike could mean a deadly fate.

'I'm sorry, Cid... I'm sorry, Victor...'

FLASH

BUGH

In an instant, a mysterious figure clad in a blackish-blue cloak materialized seemingly out of thin air. With remarkable speed and precision, the figure swung a sheathed katana at Juggernaut's face, delivering a powerful blow that sent the Tyrant tumbling from the tower.

"Screw you, Nero Angelo!"

Claire and Mary, their senses heightened by the sudden turn of events, found themselves stunned and speechless. The brutal threat of Juggernaut had been abruptly thwarted, and now their attention was firmly fixed on the enigmatic figure in the cloak with a hood and mask, brandishing a katana.

"You...you are Nero Angelo..." Despite never meeting him in person, Claire recognizes him through a wanted flyer.

Nero Angelo, his identity shrouded behind the hood and mask, turned to face Claire. His voice, laced with urgency, reached her as he warned, "You must leave this place, Claire. What lies within this tower is beyond your imagination, and reaching it is impossible for you."

The enigmatic city of Lawless held its secrets close, and Claire found herself at a crossroads, her decision potentially leading her to answers or further mysteries. With a solemn and mysterious figure as her guide, the enigmas of this perilous realm continued to unfold in unpredictable and dangerous ways.

Claire, her surprise evident in her eyes, asked, "How do you know my name?"

Nero Angelo's response came as a revelation, "You were the winner of the God of War Festival in Midgar."

Claire's memory of the tournament surfaced, and her connection to the mysteries of the city deepened. The enigmatic past of the city, her participation in the festival, and her interaction with the mysterious Nero Angelo all converged in a labyrinth of secrets and uncertainties.

"Then, excuse me, I've got a matter to deal with." After saying goodbye, Nero Angelo suddenly disappeared from their sight. Leaving them feeling even more confused and curious.

"Nero Angelo, I heard he was a mysterious knight who was able to defeat the Elven Goddess of War, Beatrix" said Mary.

"Did he came to help us?"

Mary, her face displaying a mix of emotions, turned to Claire and said, "I'm sorry for what I did earlier, Claire. I had to, to regain my strength."

She paused, taking a deep breath, and continued, "I'll tell you everything now. I'm not human; I'm a vampire. And i will tell you the truth about the Blood Queen"

Mary began to unravel the history of the vampires, recounting a time thousands of years ago when their race reigned supreme. "In the glorious era of vampires," she explained, "we hunted humans like animals, feasting on their flesh and drinking their blood. It was a gruesome game we played."

Claire absorbed the grim details of this revelation, her comprehension deepening as she realized the true extent of the vampire race's history. The tales of their dark past continued to add layers to the enigma of the city, as they stood on the precipice of a mission to confront the Blood Queen and alter the course of vampire history.

Mary continued the narrative, "As time passed, humans discovered our weakness-the sunlight. They became hunters, seeking vengeance for centuries of being hunted like prey by our kind."

The tale of vampire history, steeped in darkness and cruelty, carried the weight of their decline and the rise of humanity's retaliation. Claire listened, her sense of the city's enigma deepening with every revelation. The shifting balance of power and the consequences of past actions painted a complex portrait of Lawless City and its inhabitants.

The speed of the narrative quickened, and Mary continued, "In the blink of an eye, the vampire population dwindled drastically, to the point where we became outnumbered by the very humans we had once hunted."

The rapid decline of the vampire race, coupled with the reversal of their fortunes, painted a bleak picture of their history. The intricate dance of power and retribution in Lawless City remained a focal point, as the mysteries and consequences of their actions unfurled before them.

Mary's narrative delved deeper, "During that time, the Blood Queen, my Lady Elizabeth, made the choice for vampires to live peacefully and abstain from consuming human blood. Her decision influenced the entire vampire society, leading to a loss of power but granting us a newfound immunity to sunlight."

The shift in the vampire society, marked by Elizabeth's decision, introduced a different era-one where they coexisted with humanity and adapted to the changing times. The consequences of such choices and the mysteries that surrounded the Blood Queen herself continued to shape the intricate tapestry of Lawless City.

Mary added to the narrative, "While vampires gained immunity to sunlight, this blessing didn't extend to Lady Elizabeth. Her skin would still burn under its touch, even briefly. Despite her choice to abstain from blood, her insatiable thirst remained beyond her control."

The revelation about Elizabeth's unique and challenging condition provided yet another layer to the enigma surrounding the Blood Queen. Her existence, marked by contradictions and untamed desires, added complexity to their mission and the city itself.

Mary's narrative reached a climax, "However, all that harmony and peace shattered in an instant. Once in a thousand years, a night when the blood-red moon graces the sky arrives, granting vampires incredible power. Lady Elizabeth, unable to resist her bloodlust, was given a single drop of blood by her aide, Crimson. But that single drop ignited a three-day and three-night rampage. She slaughtered indiscriminately, be it vampire or human, and her frenzy led to the ruin of three kingdoms."

The horrifying story of the Blood Queen's uncontrollable fury during the Red Blood Moon added a chilling dimension to the history of vampires. The consequences of her actions, and their mission to confront her, became even more critical.

The narrative continued to unfold, "Before the peak of her frenzy, an enigmatic knight intervened. We call him as the Nameless Knight, he confronted the frenzied Lady Elizabeth. Initially they were matched, but the tide turned when the Nameless Knight unleashed his true power, transforming into a nightmarish, demon-like form. With that newfound strength, he defeated Lady Elizabeth in a one-sided battle."

The emergence of the Nameless Knight and his ability to quell Elizabeth's rampage added a new layer of intrigue and power dynamics to the city's enigmatic tapestry. The mysteries of Lawless City continued to deepen.

Mary's narrative took a poignant turn, "Before she fall to her slumber, Lady Elizabeth entrusted me with the task of scattering her ashes into the ocean to ensure her flesh couldn't be revived. As a final act, the Nameless Knight pierced her heart, marking the end of her existence."

The tragic and dramatic end to Elizabeth's life was now part of the city's haunting history, shaping the present and future of Lawless City. The burden of fulfilling her wishes now rested on Mary's shoulders, and the mysteries surrounding the Blood Queen continued to linger.

Mary's confession carried a heavy weight, "Despite everything, Lady Elizabeth's body never turned to ashes, her breath ceased, her heart stopped. I couldn't fulfill her final wish to dispose of her remains, and I've carried the guilt of that ever since."

The unresolved mystery of Elizabeth's apparent immortality and the unfulfilled task added a sense of lingering sorrow and unfinished business to the story. Mary's emotions ran deep, entwined with the city's secrets.

The intricate web of intrigue continued to unravel as Mary shared the shocking revelation, "Crimson and his followers conspired to steal Lady Elizabeth's body, preserving it for thousands of years until the next Red Moon. Their sinister agenda is to harness her power for their ambitions, aiming to establish vampire dominion over the entire land."

The machinations of Crimson and his followers added a layer of treachery and suspense to the story, as the city's factions and their hidden motives were revealed.

Claire's words of empathy offered comfort to Mary in her difficult quest. "You have nothing to regret," she reassured. "Now is the time to make amends and bring an end to the chaos that haunts this city."

Their shared determination to confront the impending threat and uncover the secrets of the Blood Queen's resurrection united them in their mission to protect the city and set things right.

"Thank you, Claire..."

Bury The Light In The Shadows

.

In the dimly lit library room, the members of Shadow Garden, led by Beta, were engrossed in their research on the Blood Queen. Ancient texts, scrolls, and dusty tomes littered the wooden tables as they searched for clues and answers amidst the cryptic writings and enigmatic symbols.

Their investigation into the Blood Queen's history and weaknesses continued, as they raced against time to decipher the secrets hidden within the texts.

"At the peak of Elizabeth's frenzy, a mysterious knight emerged and fought her. Even though she was at full strength, Elizabeth lost badly against The Nameless Knight, as they called him. Hmm, Who exactly is this Nameless Knight?"

GRAB

WOOSH

Beta's eyes widened in disbelief as the book was whisked away by a purple bat. She exclaimed, "Huh? The book! Give it back!"

Her fellow Shadow Garden members turned their attention to the unexpected occurrence, equally puzzled and concerned by the mysterious interruption.

The bat brought the book to a pale-skinned, red-haired woman who was sitting at the top of the bookshelf, wearing a dark purple gown that showed off her curves. She smiled with a chuckle at Beta and her subordinates.

The woman's crimson hair framed her face as she peered down at Beta and her fellow Shadow Garden members with an enigmatic smile. Her pale skin seemed almost ethereal in the dim light of the library. She chuckled softly, her voice holding a hint of amusement.

"Looking for something, my dears?" She held the book in her hand, her fingernails painted in a deep shade of red.

Beta furrowed her brows, wary of the stranger. "Who are you, and why did you take that book? We found it first!"

The woman's smile only widened, revealing a hint of sharp fangs. "Who am i is none of your business. As for the book, consider it a small token of my interest in your research."

The Shadow Garden members exchanged uneasy glances, unsure of how to proceed in this unusual encounter.

Beta's subordinates responded by making a surprise attack on the bat woman. However, when their swords were about to hit her, her body suddenly split into a group of bats.

SWOOSH

The Shadow Garden members watched in astonishment as the woman's form disintegrated into a swarm of bats, scattering in different directions. Their swords sliced through the air, but they hit nothing but empty space.

Beta gritted her teeth in frustration. "She's gone."

The bats reassembled into the woman form, and she was now standing behind Beta. She leaned closer, her voice a sultry whisper. "How delightful. You all have potential, but it's best not to interfere with things beyond your understanding."

Beta's heart raced, realizing that their research on the Blood Queen had drawn the attention of someone they might not want to cross. 'Who the hell is she?'

SWUNG

CLASH

With a quick movement, Beta swung her slime sword, and it collided with the bat woman's giant scythe. The clang of metal echoed through the library as Beta's slime sword met the woman's scythe. They locked eyes, and Beta could feel a strange and unsettling aura emanating from her adversary. The woman's strength was impressive, and it was clear that this wouldn't be an easy battle.

The bat woman pushed Beta back, causing her to stumble a few steps. "You're a feisty one," she purred. "But you're out of your league here."

The other Shadow Garden members tried to intervene, but the bat woman transformed into a swarm of bats once again, avoiding their attacks. She reappeared behind Beta, ready to strike.

"That's enough, Nevan" During the tension between Beta and the bat woman, a firm and absolute baritone voice was heard. The stern voice echoed through the library, his imposing figure entering the scene. "We don't have time for games. We have a mission to complete."

Nevan smirked as she withdrew her scythe. "You're always so serious, Baul. I just wanted to have a little fun with our guests."

Baul snorted in annoyance at Nevan's response. He was given the mandate by Victor to lead Devil May Cry while he was carrying out his main goals.

Beta and her subordinates remained on guard, not sure how to react to the sudden change in the situation. Still wary but somewhat intrigued, asked, "Who are you two?"

Nevan chuckled, her pale lips curving into a playful smile. "Allies, enemies, or something in between... that's for you to find out. But we share a common interest. Now, let's get to the real reason we're here."

Baul spoke up and said, "We are Devil May Cry. We came here to uncover the mystery of the Blood Queen, as well as the personal matter of our master."

Beta and her subordinates exchanged glances, realizing the significance of the name "Devil May Cry." It was synonymous with those who delved into the supernatural, seeking answers, and sometimes, confronting unimaginable threats.

Nevan grinned playfully, her red hair cascading over her shoulders. "Well, it's been fun playing with you all, but we've got our own game to continue. Ta-ta for now." As they departed from the library, the atmosphere was filled with tension, but a sense of mystery still hung in the air.

Beta and her Shadow Garden companions could only watch in astonishment as the two enigmatic figures vanished into the shadows. Their encounter with Devil May Cry had certainly added a new layer of complexity to their mission.

Bury The Light In The Shadows II

.

At the top of the Crimson Tower, Crimson stood with a sinister smile, overseeing the grim ritual that would soon be completed. Before him lay the lifeless body of a young boy, destined to be the centerpiece of the Blood Queen's resurrection. The tower was illuminated by the eerie red glow of the Blood Moon, casting an ominous shadow over the proceedings.

"Your flesh and bones wasted away, reducing you to nothing but your heart. And yet, you're still beautiful, My Queen. Let us paint the world with blood once more. On this night so befitting us a scarlet night of blood and terror" He implanted Elizabeth's heart in the boy's corpse. Crimson knew that this ritual would grant him and the vampire faction unprecedented power.

With the queen's return, they would aim to dominate the land, reclaiming their former glory. Everything was in place, and they only needed to await the pivotal moment when the Blood Moon's power would surge, and their dark designs would be realized.

"Now, return to life! My dear beloved! And let us bind ourselves together in matrimo-"

"Liberating!"

ROARRR

BOOM

The unexpected bolt of lightning struck the top of the Crimson Tower, resulting in a massive explosion that sent shockwaves through the tower. It was unclear whether this was an attack meant to thwart the resurrection ritual or if it had disrupted the proceedings.

"Did you get him?" Said a red haired man

"Seems too easy if it works" and turquoise haired one.

The explosion and chaos that ensued would undoubtedly have far-reaching consequences, as the fate of the Blood Queen's resurrection hung in the balance. Crimson and his followers were left bewildered and alarmed by this sudden turn of events, as the red moonlight continued to shine ominously over the tower.

"Bad News, Agni, Rudra. Looks like we have to deal with this blood shit" and a talking blue hawk.

As the dust cleared, a chilling silence descended over the Crimson Tower's rooftop. It was evident that the ritual had indeed succeeded. The Blood Queen stood there, her presence radiating a deadly aura that left no room for doubt. Her resurrection was now a reality, and the consequences of her return would surely be dire for all those in Lawless City and beyond. The red moonlight continued to cast its eerie glow upon the tower, signaling the resurgence of a formidable power.
