Narrator:The Gang we're currently walking through the route to lavender town at night. Due to Ash being unable to win his marsh badge he goes off to seek a ghost type on his quest to defeat psychic type gym.
Green:Maybe while we're out here we can catch some new Pokémon. I mean it couldn't hurt for future battles. Ash:Sounds good to me as long it's on the way I don't mind at all. [one hour later].
Green:Ok, this is getting ridiculous, [Green grumbled. It had been an hour since they left saffron city, everyone else was at camp eating and awaiting their return. Green and Ash still hadn't managed to catch any new Pokemon. They did encounter some Pidgey and some ratta ,but they would always get one shot, or just run off]
Ash:We might have to find some Pokemon in the routes beyond because so far the most Pokémon here have been either too weak or just run off.
GreenYeah, you may have a point there. Plus, we don't wanna get too far from camp.
Girl:Hey there! [a girl's voice called out to the duo. Looking up a small incline, they saw a red headed girl about their age, wearing a yellow top, and booty shorts, held up by suspenders over her shoulders. Her hair was done up in a ponytail that was off to one side. She was carrying a small, red bag, and was riding a bicycle,]You heading to Lavender town?
Green:Yeah. We are my name Greenight and this is my friend Ash Ketchum.
Ash:Sup
Green:We come from a small village called pallet town.we're heading to Lavender town to get Ash a ghost type so he can beat the psychic gym leader we're just catching on the way. So what about you?
Misty:oh I've just been trying to catch more water Pokémon for my team, I've been training to become the become the greatest water type specialist in the world.folks call me misty
Green:I see well how about a little 3 on 3 battle sound to you misty. Misty:Well I guess one little battle couldn't hurt I'm in! Ash:Aww I wanted to battle her. Why do you get to go first! [He complained] Green:Well soon you lose Ashy boy! [He teased laughing a bit he stole Gary line ] We can just take turns she got anymore Pokémon you can go. Now let's get started misty! Misty:My first choice will be Poliwrath! [Misty said, as she sent out her Poliwrath with Green scanning it via pokedex].
Pokedex:Poliwrath, the Tadpole Pokemon, a water and Fighting Type. Its body is solid muscle. When swimming through cold seas, Poliwrath uses its impressive arms to smash through drift ice and plow forward.
Green:Then my choice will be Fearow! [he sent out Fearow].
Green:Alright Fearow, lets start off strong with Wing attack!
[Fearow swooped down at Poliwrath, in an attempt to strike the Tadpole Pokemon]
Misty:Poliwrath, into the water! [Misty instructed. Poliwrath then dived into the nearby water, dodging Fearow Attack]
Green:Alright, where did it go?
Misty:Now, use Water Gun! [a stream of water erupted from the pool, striking Fearow in the air, knocking it off balance]
Green:Attacks from the water, huh? Hmm [Green pondered, before he got an idea] Fearow, use keep using wing attack on the water to draw it out!
Misty:Wait, what?! [Misty was very confused, as fearow kept doing just that until eventually hitting out of the water onto the land ].
Misty:Quick, use Mega Punch and throw it off!" Green:Fearow dodge and use quick attack!
[Poliwrath to used mega punch but it missed as it hits hard on the chest by fearow ]
Green:Fearow, back off for now, and circle around for a Wing Attack! [Green instructed. Fearow flew off of Poliwrath, and began to fly and circle around, swooping down and striking Poliwrath with it's wings].
[It proved too much for Poliwhirl, as it went down defeated as it fainted]
Misty:You did great, Poliwrath. Leave the rest to us [Misty said, as she recalled Her tadpole she turned her attention back to Green ]You really surprised me when me haven't been this challenged in a long time
Green:What can I say I'm full of surprises. One of my best qualities as a trainer and as person.
Misty:Right, and my next Pokemon is...[as she grabbed a Pokeball, from her belt emerged Dewpider, ]What?! I wanted to bring out my newly evolved Starmie, not you, Dewpider! [she whined as once again Green scans the Pokémon ].
Pokedex:Dewpider,Water Bubble Pokémon, a water and bug type. When it comes across enemies or potential prey, this Pokémon smashes its water-bubble-covered head into them. Ash:Wow,Where did you get a cool Pokémon like that?!
Misty:A Trade I did back in Pewter City. I also got a Buizel and a Kingler as well [Misty replied].
Green:Since I don't know much about Dewpider apart from being a Water and Bug Type, we need to be careful. Fearow, keep your distance as best you can!
FearowsRow!" [Fearow replied. Misty pulled out a smartphone, and tapped a few buttons.]
Misty:Ok, here are Dewpider's moves. Let's start off with Icy Wind! [Misty instructed. Dewpider then fired off a bone chilling wind, that seemed to damage Fearow quite a lot, as its movements became more sluggish].
Green:What's going on? [He questioned, noticing how much slower Zubat was he used his pokedex to get answers].
Pokedex Information: Icy Wind: An Ice Type Move that utilizes a freezing wind to attack. The move can sometimes reduce the Pokemon's speed stat.
Green:Tsk, in that case, we got to act fast! Fearow, use Wing Attack![Green instructed. Fearow swooped down at Dewpider, but it was still moving very slowly].
Misty:Alright Dewpider, lets use Bubblebeam!" [Dewpider then fired off a powerful stream of bubbles that pushed Fearow back, causing it to land on a rock on the water, completely spent]
Green:Fearow, are you alight?! [Green called out].
[Fearow gets up trying keep fighting but it collapsed in exhaustion as it faints].
[Green then recalled Fearow].
Green:You did great, Fearow. We'll handle things from here,[he got out his second Pokeball, ]Alright Pikachu, you're up! [he said, as he sent in pikachu, she was raring to go.]
Green:We need to be careful of Icy Wind, Pikachu, so let's start off with Quick Attack in a zigzag!
[she nodded as she rocketed off, zigzagging with a streak of white being left behind her]
Misty:Dewpider, quick, use Icy Wind and slow down Pikachu! [Misty instructed. Dewpider once again fired off Icy Wind, but Pikachu instinctively dodged, by leaping over it and behind Dewpider. Before it had a chance to react, Pikachu slammed into Dewpider as blinding speeds]
Green:Alright, now to finish this off now! Use Thunder shock! [Green instructed. Pikachu fired electricity,at Dewpider]
Misty:Dewpider, use Protect! [Misty instructed. Dewpider erected a green barrier which caused Thunder shock to bounce off] Alright, now use Water Pulse! [the Protect barrier dropped, and Dewpider fired off Water Pulse at point blank range]
[pikachu skids back a bit the attack didn't do much as she still raring to go].
Green:Ok We need to keep our distance, Pikachu, so use Thundershock! [Green instructed. Pikachu then fired off Thunder Shock at Dewpider].
Misty:Quick, use Protect! [Misty instructed. Dewpider erected the barrier, only for it to fall, thus allowing Thunder Shock to strike the Water Bubble Pokemon. Sparks began flying off of Dewpider,]Crap, now Dewpider's confused!"
Green:Which means this is the perfect time for this move! Use slam! [Green instructed. Pikachu gathered strength into its tail, before hitting with slam as Dewpider, sending the Water/Bug Pokemon careening back into a tree, completely unconscious completely unconscious as it fainted]
Misty:That was excellent battling, Dewpider. Now get some rest for now,[Misty said, as she readied her third and final Pokeball,]Well Green, this is it! If you can't overcome this wall, then you won't be winning this battle.
Green:With the right trainer and Pokémon theirs no wall can't be overcomed bring it on!
Misty:Hmm, good attitude. Now, for the pride of the Cerulean City Gym, my ace Pokemon! [Misty said, tossing the Pokeball, releasing a massive, blue sea Pokémon Gyarados ] Ash:Wait your the cerulean city gym leader?!
Green:I thought those sensational sisters we met back then were the gym leaders? Misty:My older sisters watch the gym when I'm away. But enough of that, let's resume our battle!
Green:We need to score a big hit as quickly as we can, Pikachu, use thunder shock! [Green instructed. Pikachu charged up Electricity, and Fired it at Gyarados.]
Misty:Gyarados, use Twister! [Misty instructed. Gyarados summoned Twister to block Thunder shock,]Now, use Dragon Dance! [Gyarados then began twisting and twirling it's body around, causing it to glow red].
Green:What was that?
Misty: For your Information that's Dragon Dance: A Dragon Type Status Move that increases the a Pokémon Attack and Speed [She explains].
Green:Oh man, that cannot be good!
Misty:You're right, it isn't! Gyarados, use Ice Fang!" [Misty instructed. Gyarados' fanged bcame cloaked in ice, as it sped towards Pikachu.]
Green:Pikachu, dodge, and use Thunder Shock!" [Pikachu desperately dodged Ice Fang, before unleashing Thunder Shock at point blank range, causing a lot of damage to Gyarados, who remained standing].
Misty:Gyarados, use Aqua Tail! [Misty instructed. Gyarados' tail became enveloped in water, as it swung it at Pikachu, sending the Mouse Pokemon into a tree . Just then, sparks began to fly off of Gyarados,]Crap! I forgot about Pikachu's ability!"
Ash:Pikachu's ability?
Green:Yeah. It's a fairly common one among Electric Types called 'Static'. When an opponent makes contact, sometimes they'll wind up paralyzed. This could work in our favor, because I don't know if I can handle another hit like that,[Green said to Ash].
Green:In that case, we need to finish this up fast, so use slam ! [Green instructed. Pikachu began to charge up it's tail instead of slam its Electro Ball].
Misty:We can't afford to let them to fire that! Gyarados, use Ice Fang again! [Misty instructed. Gyarados once again charged at Pikachu, in an attempt to use Ice Fang]
Green:ok , right now! Pikachu use...your new move electro ball![Pikachu then charged at Gyarados, and with a mighty swing of its tail, a sound like a gunshot went off, as Gyarados was sent hurtling back into a tree , completely spent from the battle as it fainted from point blank hit powerful electro ball ].
Misty:No way! I can't believe you actually beat my Gyarados?![she said as she recalled Gyarados as she walks over shaking Green hand] Not bad you definitely earned that water badge.
Green:Hey your Gyarados was just as impressive I actually have one of my own only it's albino.
Misty:Hey thanks! I'd loved to see that Gyarados of yours never seen albino Gyarados before sounds so cool!
[the girl commented, when out of nowhere, something glides right past them.]
Green:Whoa, what was that? [Green questioned, looking to whatever had passed them. Both he and ash saw a brown bird like Pokemon with 3 heads small wings, black feathers on head and red tail feathers as Green and ash scan it ],
pokedex:Dodrio,The triple bird Pokémon and the evolved form of Doduo, A normal and flying type Uses its three brains to execute complex plans. While two heads sleep, one head stays awake Watch out if DODRIO's three heads are looking in three separate directions. It's a sure sign that it is on its guard. Don't go near this POKéMON if it's being wary - it may decide to peck you.
Green:A Dodrio? I didn't think any of them lived out here.
Ash:So that's a Dodrio?wow that's a lot of heads.
Ash:Well, shall we try our luck with that one and try to catch it Green? Green:I mean sure No hard feelings no matter who catches it.
Misty:You sure? You heard what the Pokedex said, right?
Ash:I know, but I would like to have at least one new Pokemon on my team before we hit Lavendar town.
Misty:Well, I guess it wouldn't hurt to try, [She replied, as they ran off after Dodrio once it ran. They soon arrived in front of a large tree, where they saw the Dodrio from before walking around, pecking at the ground]
Green:Nice! Now's our chance! [Green quietly said. Misty, however, felt something was off.]
Misty:Hang on, I get the feeling this could be an ambush.
Ash:You're probably overthinking things, but we can pull out if things get a bit too dicey. Now, let's get this dang bird before it gets too late [Ash said, as Green and Misty approached Spearow,]. Boys:Alright Dodrio, we're calling you out! [They declared. Dodrio just smirked maliciously].
[ he let out a sharp cry. Within seconds, a flock of about 50 more Dodrio began to surround all around the three of them]
Green:Dang it! I should've listened to you, Misty!
Misty:Gee, ya think?! [Misty snarked sarcastically]Alright, now isn't the time to chew you both out for this, but it doesn't look like these Spearow will not let us off the hook [She observed]
Green:Well, luckily for us, we have the Type Advantage over them with Pikachu's, because it looks like we're going to have to fight our way out.
Ash:Fine with me. I could go for a little workout. Misty:Jeez your lucky I like you two.
Dodoria:Rio! [the Dodorio the two of them had chased screeched loudly as the entire flock dove right at three of them as ash and green sent out their Pikachu,While misty sent out Staryu ].
Boys:Alright Pikachu's, use Thunder-shock/Thunderbolt ,but put a new spin on it!" [They instructed, emphasizing the word "spin"]
[Both Pikachu leapt up into the air, and began to spin around while firing Thundershock and thunderbolt at the same time. The electricity whipped at the Dodorio, sending some of them down to defeat].
Boys:You got five more coming in from your left! Use Quick Attack to dodge! [They said in unsion as both Pikachu then used a branch from the tree they were battling under, to propel Themselves away from the attacking Dodrio,]
Boys:Alright, now, give them another taste of your Electricity fire Thundershock/Thunderbolt! [The Pikachu's once again fired off Thundershock and thunderbolt blasting more Spearow. The battle carried on for about another twenty minutes, when only a small handful of the Dodorio was still left able to battle as ash caught in middle of this chaos as it was sent back to professor oaks lab. But Green,ash and misty were beginning to tire along with their Pokémon as they remained resilient].
Dodorio:Do Dodrio?! [the first Dodrio yelled, clearly irritated and flustered at seeing the majority of the flock being taken down].
Misty:They look like their close giving up boys keep up the pressure!
Ash:So, you want to catch a Dodorio before anything happens?
Green:Yeah, that would be a good idea [Green replied, getting an empty Pokeball ready, when a loud, menacing, and shrill cry echoed throughout the field. The remaining Dodrio all had malicious glints in their eyes].
Misty:What? What's going on?
Green:I think that cry was their boss making her big return!
Ash:And there it is, right now! [Ash replied, pointing to woods behind the flock. Green,Ash and Misty saw a large, Green bird Pokémon with black feathers on its head and a spear like beak walking towards them it was slightly bigger than rest].
Misty:Oh great, just what we needed!
Ash:If it's A Dodrio why is it a different color? [Ash questioned]
Green:I think this Dodrio is a shiny Pokémon. Misty:It would explain the odd coloring.
Leader Dodrio: Do Drrio Rio?! [the Dodrio ask upon seeing the battlefield being littered with at least 40 Dodrio, who were completely defeated].
Dodrio:Doo Ree! [the lead Dodrio tattled, pointing to Green,ash and Misty. The leader Dodrio then looked at the Trainers with a look of surprise and intrigue.]
Dodorio:Dodorio? [The leader asked still in disbelief these humans could take out this much of their flock].
[the lead Dodrio nodded. Dodorio then landed right in front of Pikachu and Green.
[The leader stares into Green eyes as he smiles having a hunch of the leader wants].
Misty:Well what does it want? [misty asked she worried what the leader wants with them ].
Green:I think Dodrio wants a one on one battle with me I can tell she has the eyes of Pokémon how craves a battle. Am I big girl [ Dodrio nodded as she has a dangerous glint in her eyes. Ash and misty gulped but green was absolutely excited for this new challenge].
Ash:Looks like we don't have much of a choice here. But why are you going along with this?
Green:Truth be told, it's been a while since I've been in a serious battle, and I feel that she can give me and Pikachu a battle that I can thoroughly enjoy. I live for these kinds challenges ash it's Thrilling!
Green:Well Pikachu, let's get this battle started by using Quick Attack! [Green instructed. Pikachu then took off like a bolt, charging straight at Dodrio].
[she banked to the side of Pikachu, and struck her with her beak, causing Pikachu to be sent skidding back with a groan of pain, she sneered as Dodrio was proud to get a hit on Pikachu ]
[Some sparks flew off of Dodrio, but none of them seemed to notice]
Green:Alright, Pikachu, use Thunderbolt! [Pikachu then fired off Thunderbolt ,striking Dodrio in the chest, but it was able to shrug it off].
[Dodrio look unimpressed as she dissatisfied by their performance so far ]
Green:No way... Quick Attack didn't work, and she just tanked that Thunderbolt!
Dodorio:Dooo! [Dodorio yelled, as she became surrounded by a white aura, and swooped down at Pikachu to use aerial ace, only for more sparks to fly off of her, causing her to land hard into the ground]
Ash:What's going on?
GreenI know! It must be her Ability, Static! Lucky us idk if we could've taken that hit.
Green:Now's a good a time as any to use it, now, Pikachu, use Electro Ball!
[Pikachu replied with a nod as she began to charge up electricity in her tail, forming it into a ball. With a mighty swing, Pikachu then hurled the Electro Ball at Dodrio, sending her back to defeat]
Green:Alright! Now, for the best part! [Green said, clenching the empty Pokeball he got out earlier.
Misty:Wait, you're seriously going to catch that thing?! You are aware that it tried to kill us, right?" [Misty asked incredulously].
Green:I know, but an opportunity like this to catch a shiny Pokemon this early on doesn't come around too often. I'm taking this chance, now [Green said, as he tossed the Pokeball at Dodrio, causing it to become encapsulated inside]
[the Pokeball began to wobble. It continued to do so for a few seconds before an audible clicking was heard, signaling the capture sequence was finished as Dodrio was sent to professor oak lab]
Green:Alright, now that this is taken care of, we should get going before the rest of these birds wake up. Besides, I'd like to have a little bit of R&R, [Green commented, as he recalled Pikachu back into her poke-ball ].
Ash:Yeah, and once we get to Lavender town, We can get that Ghost type I need to beat Sabrina! Misty:Say mind if I join you guys I think I'm starting to reach my limits traveling alone,plus I definitely want that rematch with you Green!
Green:Right.Well I don't see why not sure misty what's one more girl too the group gonna hurt. Plus ash probably gonna wanna battle you at some point. Ash:Oh you know it once I get chance going down misty!
Misty:Oh please,in your dreams Ash!
[A Few minutes later].
[The weary Trio had just arrived back at the camp as Brock finished cooking some food ]
Brock:oh hey you guys are back. [He said noticing their return along with misty].
Lexus:Wait,how is she anyway?
Green:This is misty.We met her while trying catch Pokémon in the forest. She is cerulean city gym leader and the younger sister of the sensational sisters we met back in cerulean.
Lexus:Oh yeah those three. So weak barely bothered to remember them or that gym.
Misty:Really now?well if you battled me I can assure you. That you would've definitely faced a real opponent.
Lexus:I think I'm gonna enjoy having you around. Plus it'll be nice not being only gal among the fella's.
Brock:Yeah come let's eat up before heading out. [They all sit down as they join their meal together the group of 4 having now become a group of 5]
Narrator:Now that misty joined the group how will things for our young hero's find out as the journey continues.
((That brings an end to this original chapter of Pokémon kanto adventures. Misty may not have been in the story in earlier chapters but now she is under better circumstances,her team along with her have grown especially her irrational fear of bugs,well a little not fully I'm afraid she can at least tolerate them if they keep their distance or have the water type. Anyway next chapter gonna be a little different you'll see soon, also the name of Green Dodorio shall be Alpha he'll officially name them that once he able to switch at a Pokémon center anyway later guys.
