I was in the Main Room with Natalia and Joe when I got the text.

I mentally rolled my eyes and put my phone away.
When Natalia noticed my change in attitude, she put her mug of coffee down and said "Sades, are you okay?"
"Hm?" I looked up at her. "Yeah, I'm fine."
She was about to say something when Maya burst in, breathing heavily.
"You," she pointed a finger at me. "What the actual fucking fuck?"
"Woah, where's the fire?" Joe laughed.
Maya shot him the ugliest look I'd ever seen her make. "Joe, get the fuck out."
Joe was about to laugh again when Natalia nudged him in the ribs with her elbow, and he realized Maya wasn't joking.
"Right, I- uh..." He looked around him quickly, as if making sure that he had everything he needed, then headed for the door. "Bye."
Maya turned back to me. "What the fuck is wrong with you?"
"Me? What the fuck is wrong with you? And most importantly," I gestured around the room. "What the fuck just happened."
"Joe left."
"No shit. Why?"
"Because you cheated on your girlfriend!"

"Maya!" I tossed a cushion at her head, but she caught it in time.
"Well then, what is it?"
I sighed through my nose. "It's just... you know how I have, like, a whole bunch of brothers?"
"Yeah."
"Well, Mitchell is like, my best friend-ish brother, Caleb is my trauma dump brother, and then there's Spencer."
"I know of Spencer, but you don't usually talk about him."
"Yeah, well-"
"Maya!" A voice called from behind the door. "We need you in 10! We're already behind schedule, go get your makeup done!"
She sighed and hung her head. "Put a pin in it?"
I nodded. "Talk to you later."
When Maya was gone, I fell back on the couch. Wait- didn't I have school today? I checked the time.

Too late for school now.
Matt walked in. He seemed focused on a clipboard and was scribbling something down. He only seemed to notice I was there when he almost sat on me.
"Hey Sadie."
"Hey." I leaned over his shoulder to see what he was writing, but he shielded it with his arm.
"Nope."
"Why not?"
"Because, you can only see it when you're back on set."
"Dude, we're literally going to read it anyway."
"Shouldn't you be at school?"
"Sorry, Dad." I rolled my eyes. "I think it's a little too late to go now."
"Whatever. Oh, speaking of school..." he ripped a sheet of paper off his clipboard. "...share this with your castmates. Or, as Seventeen would say, your partners."
I giggled and took the paper. "What is it?"
"Your schedule."
"We already have different schedules for school."
"Nah, nah, nah, this is how you'll be able to manage work and school."
"What?" What?!
"Pick your jaw up, kid. At this rate, we'll be months late in filming, so we'd rather have you guys working and at school at the same time."
"But... but..." No! Why me? Why us? Why now? "... we're just going back to being fourteen again!"
"Yep. Have fun." He skipped happily out of the office.
I rolled my eyes. School and work. School and work? I'm not a kid anymore! Why did I even agree to this? I could've threatened to quit my job! Then the Duffers wouldn't have a Max in the new season. Then again, they would still be able to kill off Max if they wanted with how we ended season 4.
I pushed a cushion over my face and screamed. This is fucking fun, isn't it?
