Narrator:We join our two heroes Ash and Green as they lead their friends through a forest. Since neither of them have a compass, Ash is trying to rely on his instinct
Lexus:Are you sure you know where we're going, Ash?
Ash:Don't worry. I'm positive this way will take us back to the path.
Brock:Positive, huh? [Brock said with uncertainty]
[After walking through the forest, the group decide to rest on some rocks].
Ash:Time for a break.
Green:Good call, Ash.
Bulbasaur:Saur [said his Bulbasaur].
[As they sat, Ash notices something near him. It was a Pokémon with some grass on it's head].
Ash:Hey, Green. Look at that.
[Green turn to look at the Pokémon].
Green:It's an Oddish.
[Ash took out his Pokédex and scans it].
Ash's Pokédex: Oddish. This Pokémon is typically found roaming the forest, scattering pollen as it walks around.
Ash:I'll catch it! [Ash said as he takes out a Poké Ball. But before he can do so, Green got in front of him]
Green:Hold it dude!
Ash:What for?
Green:Because I'm gonna catch that Pokémon
Ash:Ah, no way, I saw it first.
Green:Too bad so sad I Recognized it first.
[They turn to see Oddish getting away].
Green:Go, Spearow! [He lets Spearow out of it's Poké Ball].
[Spearow then got in Oddish's way. Oddish attempts to get away, but Green calls out an attack].
Green:Spearow, Quick attack now!"
[Spearow flys fast quick attack at Oddish which sends it up in the air].
Green:Now that's the way Spearow keep it up!
[Spearow charges in again while spinning as it hits Oddish very hard, resulting in Oddish being knocked to the ground. Green then takes out an empty Poké Ball].
Green:That weakened it! Gotta catch it now! Poké Ball go! [he threw the Poké Ball at oddish].
[But before the Poké Ball can make contact with Oddish, something hit it, sending the Poké Ball away].
Green:Uh oh [Green replied as the Poké Ball hit the ground].
[The group turn to see a familiar Grass type Pokémon in front of Oddish]
AshWhoa! What's that?!
Green:It's a Bulbasaur. A wild one at that.
Bulbasaur:Saur!? [said his Bulbasaur in shock. It was very surprised to see a member of it's own kind out here]
[Ash was very excited to see a Bulbasaur]
Ash:Wow! I can't believe it! [he yelled as he takes out his Pokédex].
Ash's Pokédex: Bulbasaur. It bears the seed of a plant on its back from birth. The seed slowly develops. Researchers are unsure whether to classify Bulbasaur as a plant or animal. Bulbasaur are extremely tough and very difficult to capture in the wild. [It jumps in and tackled Spearow very hard knocking it back. Green runs over to it].
Green:Ah! Spearow, are you okay!?
Ash:Now it's my turn to try! Bulbasaur is mine! Butterfree, I choose you! [Ash yelled as he lets out his Butterfree] Butterfree, Sleep Powder!"
[Butterfree did what Ash commanded and begins to sprinkle Sleep Powder at Bulbasaur. Before it can affect it, Bulbasaur blew it back which hits Butterfree, making him drowsy and dropped to the ground. The group was surprised by this].
Lexus:I didn't know Bulbasaur can do that [she said in surprised]
Green:That's because they can't.
[Green's Bulbasaur was amazed at the wild Bulbasaur's improvised move]
AshCome on! Hang in there, Butterfree!
[Still feeling drowsy, Butterfree struggled to get up. But the wild Bulbasaur tackles it sending him flying]
AshOh no! [Ash said in surprised]
[Oddish and Bulbasaur then escaped into the bushes together]
Ash:Oh. But Bulbasaur. It's not fair! I want it![whined Ash]
Lexus:Better luck next time, Ash.
Green:But still. That Bulbasaur is very strong. It is definitely not like mine.
[His Bulbasaur was looking at the direction that the Oddish and Bulbasaur went. It seems to be impressed by how strong the Bulbasaur is].
[The group then continues on their way. They were walking on the bridge]
AshHa ha ha! I bet there are Bulbasaur all over this place! [Ash said with a laugh.] Green:But the Pokédex said that Bulbasaur are hard to capture in the wild.
Ash:I know that, Green. But there is a possibility that there can be another wild one here.
Lexus:What is this place?
Brock:I can't find this bridge on my map [Brock said he was looking at a map].
[The group stopped when they heard this and turned to their friend. Brock sweat dropped]
GreenWait! You have a map this whole time and you didn't even tell us? [Jake asked with a frown]
Bulbasaur:Saur [ Bulbasaur said with a frown]
Brock:Well, you see... [Brock began]
[Before he can explain, a harsh wind begins to blow which shakes the bridge. Everyone yells in surprised as this happened. Just then, one of the ropes break, which turns the bridge sideways. This forces everyone to hold on. Ash was holding on while Bulbasaur used it's vines to grab onto Green's leg while he's holding on. Lexus held on too, but her grip begins to slip. Before she could fall, Green grabbed her arm with one hand].
Green:I gotcha!
[Brock on the other hand was struggling to hold on. He then couldn't hold on any longer, and fell down]
Ash:Brock's falling!
[They watched to see Brock fall into the river and was out of sight]
Green:No!"
LexusAsh! Green! You need to pull us back up! It's our only chance!
Green:I ... can't!
Lexus:Yes you will! Just pull as hard as you can!"
Bulbasaur:Saur [Bulbasaur said in fright as it looked down]
Green:Okay! [Green said as he and his friend pulled themselves up
[It took some time, but Ash and Jake were able to get themselves, Lexus , and their Pokémon to the other side of the bridge. They were panting in exhaustion after that].
Ash:Phew. I'm totally wiped out.
Green:Me too.
Lexus:We can't rest now. We gotta find Brock.
Green:Right.
[The group then ran on the trail that was under the bridge].
AshHurry up! [Ash yelled as he took the lead]
[The group then continued on the trail. Ash and Green were calling out for Brock].
Ash:Brock!
Green:Where are ya Brock?!
Lexus:You think he washed this far down stream?
Green:I hope not [Green replied in worry].
[Lexus's foot then caught on something, causing the group to be caught in a big net which goes right up into a tree].
Green:Hey! How'd we get up in that tree?
Ash:It was another trap and Lexus triggered it! [Ash said as he glared at Lexus].
Lexus:I didn't know it was there!
GreenCan we not argue right now? We got to get out of here!
Lexus:Try wiggling. See if the net would open.
Green:Worth a shot.
[Ash and Green begins to wiggle the net, but to no avail].
Charmander:Char!
Bulbasaur:Bulbasaur! [Charmander and Bulbasaur both said as they are struggling with the tight fit in the net]
Bulbasaur:Bulbasaur!"
[The friends look down to see the wild Bulbasaur they had encountered].
Green:It's that Bulbasaur again
Bulbasaur:Bulba Bulbasaur Bulba bulba! [yelled Green's Bulbasaur as it was begging it's wild brethren to let them out].
[But the wild Bulbasaur just gave them a smug look and walks off ] Lexus:Hey! Where are you going!? You can't just leave us here!" Ash:Hold it there, Bulbasaur! I want a match! [Ash yelled as he begins to shake the net]
Lexus: Green, are you touching my leg?
Green:Oh sorry.
Ash:Bulbasaur! [Ash called out]
[After a few minutes, the friends stopped wiggling]
Green:I can't believe that wild Bulbasaur left us here.
Bulbasaur:Saur [his Bulbasaur said sadly]
Lexus:Yeah [She said sadly]
AshI know. But I wonder what happened to Brock.
Lexus:I wonder too.
Ash:Maybe the river carried him far away. All the way to the ocean. Then some pirates spotted him and brought him aboard their ship. And one of the pirates have a wooden leg.
[Lexus and Green sweat dropped at Ash's story]
Lexus:You have a crazy imagination!
Charmander:Mander.
Ash:Then came the storm.
Brock:Ahoy!"
[The friends look down to see Brock who is okay].
Lexus:Brock! Thank goodness you're okay [ She in relief].
Brock:Why are you guys hanging around up in that tree?
Green:Never mind that. Can you please get us down?
Brock:Sure.
[He takes out a knife and cuts the rope that holding the net. The net falls to the ground very hard. Everyone then gets the net off of them]
Green:Thanks, Brock.
Bulbasaur:Saur [said his Bulbasaur].
Lexus:But maybe next time, you can let us down a little more gently.
Brock:Yeah sure. Uh, sorry.
Lexus:We've been looking all over for you!
Ash:We saw you fall into the river" added Ash
Green:What happened to you after that?
Brock:Well I was being washed away in the rapids.
[A flashback begins where we see Brock being pulled by the current in the river. Just then, a young woman grabbed his hand]
Woman:I got you. Just hold on [the woman said as she pulled Brock up to the surface]
[Brock was panting and then gets a good look at his savior]
Brock:The girl who saved my life was incredibly beautiful.
AshBeautiful girl, huh? That's even better than pirates. Unless of course she was a pirate in disguise.
Green:You do know that's absurd right? [He asked with a sweat drop]
[Ash can only chuckle nervously].
[Brock then led his friends to a small cabin where the same woman that saved him was caring for some wild Pokémon. The girl then notices them coming].
Brock:Melanie, this is Ash, Lexus , and Green.
Ash:Hello
Green:What's up?" Jake greeted as well
Melanie:So you're Brock's friends. He told me all about you.
[Green then notices all the Pokémon here. There was a Bellsprout, Weepinbell, a Caterpie, two Rattatas, an Oddish, and a Paras. They were all eating Pokémon food.]
Green:Wow. That's a lot of Pokémon. Are they all yours?
Melanie:Oh no.
Brock:This is a place where Pokémon are able to rest and relax.
Ash:Like summer camp?
Melanie:Well sort of. But all year long! You see, when Pokémon get abandoned or injured, they can come here. Melanie takes care of them until they feel better. Then they leave.
Green:Wow. It's just like the Pokémon Center.
Bulbasaur:Saur [said his Bulbasaur in amazement]
Lexus:Does that make Melanie a Pokémon Doctor?
Melanie:Oh no. I'm unqualified to be a Pokémon Doctor.
Brock:This is more like a Pokémon Health Spa" [Brock explained. The group was surprised by this. They then watched the other Pokémon getting along with each other] Melanie:Here, the Pokémon don't battle with one another. They relax and try to enjoy themselves until they recover.
Lexus:That's nice.
Brock:Melanie collects plants to use for medicine. She knows all about which plants can help a Pokémon feel better or grow stronger when it's too weak.
Green:Looks to me like you and Melanie both love to take care of Pokémon.
Brock:We sure do [Brock said as he looks at Melanie playing with the Pokémon].
Lexus:Well, it looks to me like there's something else Brock might love [teased Lexus punched his shoulder].
[This caused Brock to turn red in embarrassment. He flails about and covers Lexus's mouth].
Brock:Be quiet! She might hear you! [he protested as Lexus struggles to get his hand away from her].
[Ash looks at them in confusion while Green sweat dropped as they watched]
Green:Oh boy [thought Jake].
[The group then begins to think back on the traps they have triggered before coming here].
Ash:I wonder who put that net up in the tree?
Lexus:Probably the same person who dug the hole I fell into.
Melanie:I'm sorry. I was the one who set those traps. I wanted to Pokémon Trainers before they reached them. Since you got caught, I guess they really worked.
Green:That was you?!"
Melanie:There are so many injured Pokémon here. I have to protect them.
Lexus::Does that mean that the bridge was a trap too?
Melanie:Yes.
Green:But did you not think about what would happen if a person or a Pokémon got caught in those traps. They could've really gotten hurt especially Pokémon [he said as he lightly scolded her].
Melanie:Oh. I never thought about it like that" [Melanie said a little ashamed of herself]
[Brock then led his friends around the hidden village].
Brock:I promised Melanie I wouldn't steal any Pokémon here.
Ash:We'll I guess I'll have to keep your promise.
Lexus:I just hope those bad guys don't try to come here.
Ash:Yeah. But are those traps tough enough to keep robbers away from this place? I mean you have to be pretty stupid to fall into one of those holes.
[What he said offended Lexus]
Lexus:Hey!
Green:But you do have a point, Ash. I can think of three people who would be stupid enough to fall for traps like that.
Ash:And who would that be?
Green:Team Rocket. I wouldn't be surprised if they fell for every trap on the way here
[Lexus Laughed at what Green had said about Team Rocket]
[The group then begins to take care of the Pokémon in the hidden village. Ash and Brock was pouring some water on Staryu.]
Ash:Do you feel any better, Staryu? [Ash asked with Staryu giving an affirmative cry]
[Meanwhile Green was taking care of a Geodude. He was feeding it some food that Melanie has given him].
Green:How do you like it, Geodude?
Geodude:Geo [it said happily].
[ Green eventually found oddish he almost captured earlier he hugs it apologizes as oddish forgives him. Suddenly, the wild Bulbasaur charges in and hits Green from behind. This alarmed the group].
Green:Hey, it's rude to tackle people!
Ash:He's right!" Ash added
[The wild Bulbasaur was getting ready to fight them. Green's Bulbasaur couldn't help but glare at the wild Bulbasaur's behavior. It seems to it that it's wild brethren is under the impression that all Pokémon trainers are bad people and now it wants it's friends out].
Ash:I know. You're just mad that I was going to beat you, but you chickened out and ran off!
Ash: let's see how tough you really are! [Ash said as he got ready to fight]
[Before they can do so, Green ran in front of them with Geodude accompanying him].
Green:Wait Ash! Let's not do anything reckless here.
Ash:Huh, but he attacked you? Green:It wasn't for no reason I think it was for good reason I can feel it this one not violent type.
Lexus:Green's right. Before you guys try to battle, don't you think Bulbasaur has a reason for attacking you?
[Melanie then runs up to them]
Melanie:Your friends are right. Bulbasaur was only trying to protect Oddish. Bulbasaur volunteered to guard our whole village [she explained much to Ash surprise ]It protects all the injured Pokémon whenever enemies try to attack them.
Ash:But Green wasn't trying to attack Oddish.
Melanie:That's true. Bulbasaur is the bravest and most loyal Pokémon I know.
Green:So that's why Bulbasaur attacked me. It must've thought I was taking Oddish from the village.
[Ash then felt something. He looks down to see the wild Bulbasaur pushing against his leg]
Ash:Now what?
Melanie:Bulbasaur doesn't like Pokémon trainers. It wants you to leave the village now.
Lexus:But we're not here to capture Pokémon. We wanna help you.
Melanie:It's true, Bulbasaur. These are our friends.
[But the wild Bulbasaur ignored them and continues to push against Ash]
Green:Please Bulbasaur. You have to give us a chance.
[Bulbasaur turns to Green and begins to growl at him. But before it can do anything, Green's Bulbasaur jumped in front of it's trainer].
Bulbasaur:Bulbasaur! Bulba bulba bulba saur!" [yelled Green's Bulbasaur as it told the wild Bulbasaur to back off].
[The wild Bulbasaur was shocked to see a member of it's own species defending a trainer]
Wild bulbasaur:Saur saur! Bulba bulba Bulbasaur!" [yelled the wild Bulbasaur as it argued that all trainers are bad and that they abandon Pokémon like them]
Bulbasaur;Bulba bulba saur saur! [Greens Bulbasaur said as it told the wild Bulbasaur that while it's true that some trainers are bad and heartless, not all of them are like that].
Wild bulbasaur:Bulba saur saur! [argued the wild Bulbasaur as it said that it's trainer might do the same]
Bulbasaur:Saur saur! [Green's Bulbasaur yelled as it state that Jake is not like that and that he cares for Pokémon].
[This caused the wild Bulbasaur to become taken aback by it's brethren's argument].
Lexus:What do you suppose they are saying?
Green:I don't know. But I think that my Bulbasaur is telling the wild Bulbasaur that while some Pokémon trainers are bad, not all of them are like that. Based on it's attitude, I can say that this Bulbasaur must've been through something awful to make it hate Pokémon trainers. Am I right, Melanie?
Melanie:You could be right, Jake.
Ash:So Bulbasaur was worried about the other Pokémon so it decided to be the village bodyguard. Now that's what I called bravery. It would be great to have a Pokémon like that.
[Green smiled at what Ash said. Just then a flying stadium appeared in the sky].
Lexus:Hey, what's that?
Green:It looks like some kind of flying stadium. Wait, wait please anyone but then!? [Green asked as he looked at the stadium and sees a familiar trio on it]
"To protect the world from devastation!"
"To unite all people within our nation!"
"To denounce the evils of truth and love!"
"To extend our reach to the stars above!"
"Team Rocket! Blast off at the speed of light!"
"Surrender now or prepare to fight!"
"That's right!"
Jessie:We've said our lines. Time to attack the village.
James:Those village idiots thought their measly traps would stop us. They thought they have the home team advantage.
Jessie:No such luck! We're the home team now.
James:I congratulate myself for this brilliant scheme.
Meowth:Don't forget, I suggested tying balloons on the stadium roof.
[Everyone watched as the Team Rocket trio then landed the stadium right in front of them]
Ash:Here we go again.
Jessie:Today only at Jessie Stadium. It's the Team Rocket Pokémon challenge!
James:The flying stadium was my idea!"
Jessie:Oh! [Jessie said as she chuckled nervously]
[The stadium opens up and a large vaccuum comes out and begins to suck everything in]
Lexus:Oh no!
Jessie:All Pokémon are invited to enter the stadium! [She stated mockingly]
James:Step right up!
Meowth:Yeah! We're not hosing ya. Well maybe we are! [He mocked]
[Staryu was the first to get caught in the suction, but Ash catches it].
Ash:They never run out of of ideas, do they?
Green:They sure don't. [said Green as he and Bulbasaur were trying to resist the suction]
[Geodude was then pulled in by the suction].
Green:Geodude! [yelled Green as he dived in and grabbed Bellsprout. But then sees that he is being pulled to the vacuum].
Green:Bulbasaur, use your vines to grab me. Hurry!
Bulbasaur:Saur! [His Bulbasaur said as he runs in and uses it's vines to grab him and tries to pull back. But the suction is so strong, that it begins to slowly pull them in]
[Just then, another set of vines came in and grabs Green. Green's Bulbasaur looks in surprise to see the wild Bulbasaur helping it out. The wild Bulbasaur gave it a smile to which Greens Bulbasaur gives back in return. Working together, the two Bulbasaurs begin to pull Green and Geodude back to group. They then set Green and Bellsprout down. Green sighs in relief]
Lexus:Are you okay?
Green:Yeah. I'm fine. Thanks to the Bulbasaurs.
Brock:Hurry! Everybody get in the cabin![Brock yelled as Melanie, all the wild Pokémon ran inside]
[Oddish was getting sucked in. Lexus tries to grab it, but she misses].
Lexus:No! Oddish! [she yelled].
[Before Oddish can get sucked in, the wild Bulbasaur caught it with it's vines and pulls it in]
Lexus:Bulbasaur!
Ash:Take Staryu! [Ash said as he gives Staryu to Lexus. He then runs over to Bulbasaur and begins to push it from the back]Keep going, Bulbasaur!"
[Just as Ash, Bulbasaur, and Oddish makes it to the cabin. They got inside while Green closes the door].
Jessie:Those rotten little pests! They're always ruining our flawless plans!
James:Not this time. They've gathered all of them in one place.
Meowth:Our super vacuum we'll suck 'em up!
[They controlled the vacuum to suck at the cabin]
Rockets:Let's go team! To steal 'em is our dream! Let's go rocket! Put Pokémon in our pocket! [the Team Rocket trio sang].
[The two Bulbasaurs then came up on the roof. Nodding to each other, they shot out their vines and wacked the vacuum away from the cabin. Once that was done, Ash and green both came out to do battle with their enemies].
Ash:Pidgeotto, I choose you!
Green:Pikachu, I choose you!
[Ash and Green sent out their Pidgeotto and Pikachu].
Ash:Pidgeotto, Gust attack!"
[Pidgeotto flaps it's wings to create Gust to counter the wind from the vacuum. It then forms into a tornado].
James:And the tornado is winding up. [James said as he acted like he is throwing a pitch]
Jessie:But will it strike us out?[Jessie asked in worry]
Meowth:There goes the whole ball game [groaned Meowth as the tornado gets nearer]
Green:Let's add some power to this typhoon! Pikachu, Thundershock full power!
[His Pikachu did what he said as she unleashes Thundershock to supercharge the tornado]
Meowth:And Electric Tornado!?
James:That's not good! [gulped James]
[The trio was then sucked in the vortex and begins to spin around while begin electrocuted at the same time].
Meowth:So what do we do now!?
Jessie:Challenge then to wind surfing or playing with thunder!?
[Then the stadium gets sucked into the vortex as well. Everyone comes out just in time to watch Team Rocket get blown far away by the tornado]
Meowth:Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again!
Melanie:Is everyone feeling okay?
Ash:I just got the wind knocked out of me.
Green:Me too. But I will say this: It sure sucks to be Team Rocket right now. [He added with a pun]
[This makes all of his friends laugh at his pun.]
[The wild Bulbasaur then spoke happy. Green's Bulbasaur smiled at it].
Ash:This village is well protected with Bulbasaur here.
Melanie:Ash, don't you agree that Bulbasaur would be an excellent addition to your team?
Ash:Oh yeah! Would he ever?! [He said excited].
Melanie:I think Bulbasaur should go with you.
Ash:Huh? [Ash said in surprise]
Melanie:Bulbasaur has stayed here to protect the weak Pokémon, but this village is too small. The bulb on it's back can't grow. It needs to go out in the world now. And I know you'll take good care of it.
[Green, Lexus, and Bulbasaur both smiled at what she said].
Melanie:Please do me this favor. Take Bulbasaur with you on your journey. He'll be a good companion.
Lexus:But what will happen to the village without Bulbasaur?
Brock:Yeah, who's going to protect you?
Melanie:It's true that Bulbasaur has done a great job. Maybe too great a job. You see, these Pokémon shouldn't remain in this village forever and ever. After they recover, the Pokémon are suppose to leave, but it's too safe here. So none of them wants to go away. They don't want to return to the outside world.
[Geodude frowned at this. It then looked at Green. It remembered how much Green had cared for it and how he saved it from Team Rocket. Then Geodude made it's decision].
Melanie:But I think that it's important that all of them return to the wild. That's where Pokémon belong. And hopefully someday, they'll find good trainers like the four of you.
[Lexus and Green both smiled at Melanie's explanation. She did raised a good point that these Pokémon can't stay in the village for long]
Melanie:Of course, taking care of sick Pokémon will always be my mission, but I know my job isn't finished until they return where they come from. So it's the day a Pokémon leaves that is most rewarding to me.
Brock:Melanie, I... [Brock was going to say but never gets the chance as Melanie walks up to Ash].
Melanie:So you see, it's time for Bulbasaur to leave here. Please take it with you. It won't be a burden. I promise. Bulbasaur still has a lot of growing to do. I want it to be in a place I am sure it grow strong and happy. I'm sure that place is with you, Ash.
Ash:Well, if you really want me to [Ash said as he thought it over]
Bulbasaur:Bulbasaur [the wild Bulbasaur said to Melanie which makes her giggle]
Ash:What did it say?
Melanie:Bulbasaur will join you on one condition. It wants to battle you in a Pokémon match. Right Bulbasaur?
[The wild Bulbasaur nods it's head]
Ash:Ha! If you want a match, you'll get it! [Ash said with a grin]
[Green then felt something tapped his leg. He looks down to see Geodude]
Green:What is it Geodude?
[Geodude begins to tell Green something. Melanie understood].
Melanie:I think Bellsprout want to come with you, Green. But only if you beat it in a battle.
Green:Well in that case. Let's do it! [Green said with determination].
[Ash and Green then both got in position as they start the battle with both Bulbasaur and Geodude].
Green:Mankey, come out! [Green said as he let out fighting monkey]
Mankey:Ki!
[Ash had sent his Pikachu to face Bulbasaur. The battle then begins].
Ash:Charmander, go!"
[Charmander charges at Bulbasaur. Bulbasaur shots it's vines at Charmander . Charmander dodges each of them, but Bulbasaur charges in and tackles Charmander which sends him up in the air].
"Pikachu!" Ash yelled.
Green:Mankey, Scratch on Geodude!
[Mankey charges at Geodude with Scratch. Geodude attempts to hit it with it rollout , but Mankey dodges all of them and hits Geodude which knocks it back. Geodude recovers as he grab Mankey and slams it to the ground with tackle]
Green:Mankey!
[Meanwhile, Charmander was recovering from Bulbasaur's attack].
Ash:Look out, Charmander!" [warned Ash. Bulbasaur knocks Charmander into the air again. Charmander regained himself and lands back on the ground. Charmander then counters back by hitting Bulbasaur back.]
[But the wild Bulbasaur used it's vines to wrap around Charmander and slams it to the ground].
[The Bulbasaur then continues to slam Charmander with it's vines. Lexus then notices the vines connected to the wild Bulbasaur].
Lexus:Hey, Ash! Try using dragon breath attack on the vines.
Ash:You heard her, Charmander . Use Dragon breath!
[Charmander did what Ash said and uses Dragon breath. The attack travels through the vines and hit Bulbasaur making it cry in pain. Bulbasaur became paralyzed and fall on it's side. Back to Green, his Mankey was slowly getting up].
Green:Mankey, are you alright?
Mankey:Ki [He responded as it nods it's head].
[Geodude then powers up with iron defense].
Green:It's using iron defense Use low kick bring it back down to size!
[Mankey quickly ran over using low kick as Geodude slammed down super effective blow].
Both:Poké Ball go! [Ash and Green said as they both threw their Poké Balls at Bulbasaur and Geodude. The balls hit them and sucks them in. Everyone looks to see the two Poké Balls shake until, they both lock].
Ash:We did it! We got Bulbasaur!
Charmander:Char! [Charmander said while making a peace sign].
Green:And I got a Geodude!
[Mankey bows it's head happy trainer accomplishment].
Lexus:Way to go, you two!
Bulbasaur:Bulbasaur [Green's Bulbasaur said as it walks up with it's trainer].
Melanie:Bulbasaur. Geodude. I'll miss you both.
[It was time for the group to get back on the road. They were saying goodbye to Melanie and all the other Pokémon]
Melanie:Have a safe trip.
Ash:I promise to take good care of Bulbasaur.
Green:And I'll take good care of Geodude, Melanie.
Melanie:Bulbasaur, thank you for watching over us. And Geodude, be safe with your new trainer." [Brock then walks up to Melanie with a blush]
Brock:Um. Melanie.
Melanie:Yes?
Brock:Since Bulbasaur is leaving, I wouldn't mind staying and helping you out.
Melanie:It's very kind of you, but we'll be okay. I wouldn't want to keep you from all of your wonderful adventures.
Brock:Oh, I guess you're right! [Brock said as he turns his head to the side]
[The group then left the village]
Melanie:Goodbye, Melanie!
Green:See ya later!
Melanie:Goodbye! Good luck! [Melanie called as she and the other Pokémon wave goodbye]
[Ash's new Bulbasaur looks back at them]

Ash/Don't worry Bulbasaur. You'll see you friends again. As soon as the the Pokémon feel better, they'll leave this village too.
[Green's Bulbasaur walks up to it's brethren].
Green bulbasaur:Bulba bulba [said Green's Bulbasaur as it assured Ash's Bulbasaur that everything's gonna be okay. This makes Ash's Bulbasaur smile at that].
Melanie:Take good care of each other! Goodbye!
[Brock looks back and then sighs. That's when Lexus comes up to him].
Lexus:So! What did Melanie say when you said you loved her? Did you kiss her goodbye? [she asked teasingly only for Brock to cover her mouth].
Brock:That's enough stupid questions! Would you please stop embarrassing me already!? You know. Okay so she's cute. I understand that, but you didn't have to keep rubbing it in!

Ash:Did I miss something? What's going on?
Green:I'm sure you'll understand when you're older.
