We all walk into studio A
"Girls you walked into this room just as sluggish and boring as you walked out on that stage, zero energy." Abby says
"You have to come out there with energy you can't get halfway through the number and then peter out, you're boring !" Abby says and then walks over pyramid
"So at the bottom of the pyramid Maddie, Maddie you had an opportunity to dance that didn't happen they announced you and you're bawling in the audience that's unacceptable behaviour you're nine years old when opportunity knocks, open the door." Abby says to Maddie, I side hug her
"Next Mackenzie, Mackenzie your routine was a winning number, you were 10th I don't do 10th." Abby says
"Next Paige, you went out there you looked great you forgot a step, you cant forget a step." Abby says
"Brooke, Brooke you're here because you give me this much, I don't see this personality you just see this fake little smile you're concentrating so much to not screw up the dance, you can't have fun out there." Abby says
"Moving up we have Nia, Nia again you're here because you showed responsibility you quit fooling around and I didn't have to hear your mouth all day long, yes ?" Abby says
"Next we have Chloe, Chloe you did your solo now listen to me, I want more." Abby says
"And on top of the pyramid, Naïla. You won over all those girls, awesome job. But next time I want to see more than tenth of a place between you and the person under you." Abby says, I nod and smile

"This week we are going to Energy dance competition in Chicago so we had a great competition last time we were in chicago but we didn't win i'd like to win." Abby says
"Nia, you and Mackenzie will be doing a duet."
"Paige you have a solo it's not a reward, you can screw up your own dance by missing the choreography but you can't mess up other people."
"Naïla, you have a solo it's called Babooshka." I nod and smile
"Brooke you also have a solo,Chloe you're solo is called Unchained but you know what the rule is you're not in class no solo so we need to figure out what went on last night I had throfaculty member coming to tell me 'Where's Chloe ?' 'Why isn't Chloe in class ?."
"She was at the doctor." Christi says
"But you need to have some type of decency or at least say hey i'm taking my kid to the doctor and bring a doctors excuse." Abby says
"I have one." Christi says annoyed
"Good." Abby says
"Okay girls I look at this pyramid and I don't even want to do a group dance cause you're lazy, you're lifeless and you don't give me 150%. Now this routine is about zombies because that's what I think you are onstage you get out there and you're like a zombie sleeping half the time." Abby says
"Holly you're not working anymore, you have all the time in the world so you are incharge of the costumes." Abby says
My jaw drop. I look at Nia with wide eyes, she look at me with wide eyes too.
"For the group number ?" Mom asks, she is shocked.
"Yes." Abby says
"Alright moms your dismissed, Holly don't procrastinate, everybody else spread apart." Abby says

Four days to competition
"Give me a big grand plié and wiggle your head back." Abby says to Nia
I like the props. We don't even have to do faces cause we're dead.
"Make sure you hit that grand attitude Paige !" Abby says

Solo rehearsal
"Paige go first, then Naïla and last Brooke."
Paige rehearse her solo from last season. Then it's my turn.
"You're solo is contemporary, it's been since last year nationals that you didn't do one, now that's not the issue. You need to go out there and have more than a tenth of a point between you and the other girl." Abby says, I nod
"Russian switch leap drop, roll and then get up." Abby says

Two days to competition

"One Chloe you're too slow. Enter what are you doing, come on !" Abby yells
"Wow that's great energy Brooke that's make me want to get up dance. Boring, yawning, sloppy." Abby says, but don't we have to look like we aren't putting any effort, ?

"Alright solo get your chair." Abby says to Paige
Paige go out of the room and take the chair.
She comes back in.
"You're just did it now, didn't you take that home last night ? I told her to take the chair." Abby says
"I wanted these robber stoppers." Abby says to Paige
Abby throw the chair, ohh.
"You finished, next." Abby says to Paige, she go out of the room, crying.
Kelly comes downstairs.
"You know what Abby, we're done, your not doing your solo, neither of my kids are doing a solo, and the group dance."
"That's fine." Abby says
I go out of the room to go in the den
"It's okay, don't worry." I say hugging Paige
"Yeah she's right." Chloe says to Paige
"I wanna go home." Paige cries in her mother arms

One day to competition
Nia, Paige, Chloe, Brooke and I walk in the den, we meet the Ziegler's.
"Hi Mads." I say to Maddie

I finish it and go over it three times.

Competition day
We go on the bus and Kelly's not here, she's still mad. I understand.
"Bus driver, where are you going this is not the correct way." Abby says, I look at Maddie and we laugh
"Poor bus driver wants to kill himself." I say to Maddie

We go in the dressing room and get ready for the solos and the trio.
Brooke and Paige are not at the competition and they have solos.
"Paige is on in twenty minutes. She's not in here, she's not ready and I can't find her anywhere." Abby says entering the room
I do over splits to warm up and I see Abby & Maddie leaving the dressing room.
"I'm stressed." I confess to my mom
"Why ?" Mom asks
"It's the six time that I have a solo in a row, Abby's counting on me." I explain
"Don't worry, you'll be fabulous as always." Mom says, I smile and hug her
Maddie comes back in the room.
"You're doing your solo ?" I ask Maddie
"Yeah." She reply
"Cool, I missed competing against you." I say
"When I'll win you will not miss it." She says
"Haha very funny." I say with a sarcastic smile
We warm up together and Brooke and Paige come in the room.
"Woohoo." I cheer. I get up and go hug them
I go in the hallway with Maddie, Mackenzie and Melissa. We meet Christi, Kelly and Kelly daughters.
Abby comes in the hallway.
"Why is Maddie dancing ?" Kelly asks Abby
"She was not supposed to do a solo this week." Kelly says
"Nothing against you Maddie. I'm just saying to give my kids more time to practice." Kelly says
"Oh I agree." Melissa says
"I agree." Maddie says putting her hand up
"Me too." I say following Maddie
We head backstage.
"Welcome entry 31a, Tongue Twister please welcome Paige thank you." the announcer says
Nobody comes.
"This entry 31a, Paige performing Tongue Twister." the announcer announces again, she doesn't appears.
"Judges get behind for entry 42a Brooke performing Paint The Pictures."
She isn't here either.
"Judges please welcome entry 51a, Chloe Performing Unchained."
"Welcome to the stage entry 55a, Naïla performing Babooshka."

"Yeah, it was so scary." Maddie says

Solo awards
"Here we go moving on our Energy junior solos." The announcer says
"Third place goes to 51a Unchained, Chloe from the Abby Lee Dance Company." the announcer says
Chloe goes up and gets her award.
I hold Maddie hand tightly.
"Second place goes to entry number 58a In My Heart, Maddie from the Abby Lee Dance Company." The announcer says
I let go of her and clap as she stand up to take her award.
"And in first place goes to entry 55a Babooshka, Naïla from the Abby Lee Dance Company" the announcer says
I smile and go stand beside Maddie.
"Congrats." She whispers
"Thanks, you too." I whisper back

"Good luck." I say to Nia and Mackenzie before they start their duet
"This is Circus Circus."
They did good !
"It was good !" I say to them, they thank me and we go to the dressing room.
I run to my mom with Nia.
"Awesome, Nia and Naï !" Mom exclaim
"Thanks." We reply
We hug mom after that we get ready for the group.

"Mom you did goood !" I exclaim while my mom put blood on my costume

"Absolutely !" I exclaim
"Listen to me when you step out there I want you to look like somebody turned you on." Abby says
We go backstage.
"Welcome to the stage entry 135a, this is Glam."
I like the end where we are posing like statues.

"Okay we're moving to our final division which is our Energy division. The top score in our energy division, the top score is going to entry 75a Circus Circus."
"Woohoo." I exclaim
"And our top scoring Energy junior small group goes to entry 134a, Glam Abby Lee dance company."
We cheer, Brooke goes up to take the award. We go in the green room.
"Good job ladies." Abby says
"Thank you" Chloe says
"Good job Holly." Abby says
"Thank you." Mom says
We take off the costume and makeup, pack our bags and go home. It was a really good week.
