Chapter 41 : The Crux Clash!

[5 days passed since that day. Everything has returned to normal. Lumine and Musashi has gotten closer and Keqing also already confess her feelings to Musashi.]
Lumine: "....."

[But, even after everything went back to normal between them, things are getting even worse for Lumine after she met his brother, Aether, who already became a Prince of Abyss Order.

[Now, both Lumine and Paimon are standing at the small cliff where they could see the whole Liyue Harbor. Paimon knows Lumine still cannot believe that her brother has become her enemy.]
Paimon: "Are you okay? Paimon never imagined your brother‍ would have sided with the Abyss..."
Lumine: "I'm feeling a bit better... But, I still can't accept it..."

[Paimon could see the sadness in Lumine's face. She even tries to cheer her up.]
Paimon: "Well, keep your chin up, Lumine! Paimon believes in both of you. And when the going gets tough, the tough get going! Right?"
Lumine: "...Yeah. You're right."

[Lumine finally shows her smile, even just a bit. Paimon also smiles at Lumine. But then, she remembers what Aether said to them back at that cave.]

Lumine: "And that is...?"

Musashi: "It's Atsuko. She in Liyue Harbor right now! She's from Inazuma."
Paimon: "Okay then! Let's go there and Let's see what she has to say!"

[The screen turns white as Lumine hugs herself in sadness.]

[The screen shows Tsaritsa sits on her throne with her Eleven Harbringers kneel before her.]

[The trio swiftly walks towards the docks of Liyue Harbor. And there, Musashi saw Atsuko is looking at the sea, and...]
Musashi: "Yo! Atsuko-chan!"

[Atsuko suddenly shivered as she turned back.]

Atsuko: "Hello... Oh! I—I mean, good fortune... right? *sigh* I'm still learning to talk like a local, haha..."

[The trio sweatdropped and chuckled because of Atsuko's nervousness. And then...]
Atsuko: "B-By the way, Is there anything I can hep you with?"
Musashi: "We wanted ask... how do we get into Inazuma?"
Atsuko: "Ohh, so that's why you're here... Well, there is a way..."

[Paimon feels excited when they know there is a way to go to Inazuma.]
Paimon: "Great! We came to the right person!"
Atsuko: "But... The chance of success is... incredibly small."

[The trio finally board on Alcor Ship, where Captain Beidou and her crew resides. The trio tries to look around for Beidou. On the other hand, Musashi feels nostalgic as she boards and look around the ship.]

Musashi: (So... this is the Great Alcor Ship... This ship kinda reminded me of Blackbeard or Drake's ship.)

[As Musashi feels nostalgic, she feels her right hand was touched. As she looks at her right side, she looks at Lumine, who is smiling at her.]
Lumine: "Feel nostalgic?"
Musashi: "Kinda... This ship is kinda remind me of my friend back in Chaldea."

[Lumine's grips tightened. Musashi could feel the warmth from her hand.]
Lumine: "Come on. We still need to look for Beidou."
Musashi: "Yeah. Sorry about this."

[Lumine pulls Musashi's hand as they continues to find the captain. And then, they found a young woman near the ship wheel. She has long, waist-length dark brown hair and fair skin. Her right eye is a deep ruby-colored hue melting into gold. Her left eye is covered by a red eyepatch, and she owns a Electro Vision.]
Musashi: "Um... Captain Beidou?"

Beidou: "Hmm? Who've we got here..."

[Beidou looks intently at the trio. She widened her eyes when she realized who are they.]
Beidou: "Wait, I know you... You're that traveler! Lumine, aren't you? The one who fought against the Fatui and Osial, right!?"

[Lumine just giggles nervously.]
Lumine: "A-Ahaha... I guess my reputation precedes me..."
Beidou: "Haha, Ningguang told me about you.. "Two traveler of great insight and remarkable skill has saved Liyue," she said."

[But then, Beidou looks intently at Musashi. And...]
Beidou: "And you! You must be the one that people called "The Strongest Samurai From Inazuma", right!?"

Musashi: "Uh...😟"

[Lumine and Paimon sweatdropped as they smile nervously...]

[Then, they approaches a young man that sits on the beach, waiting...]
Paimon: "Hello!"

Jinyou: "Hey, youngster. Are you here for The Crux Clash too? If so... seems I've found myself another new adversary."
Paimon: "So... you're also here for the tournament?"

[That young man named Jinyou nods excited.]
Jinyou: "You better believe it. I wouldn't be here if I didn't think I could walk away as a champion. For me, obtaining a Vision is the final and most important piece in the puzzle that is my life."
Lumine: "Do you want to become an adventurer?"
Musashi: "Or... Do you want to become a hero?"

[Jinyou chuckles as he shook his head.]
Jinyou: "No, no, no — it's not about what I want to do. This is about who I want to be. I am looking to become a perfect person."

[Then, Jinyou tries to tell the story about himself to the trio.]
Jinyou: "I know how that sounds, but let me explain. I've lived a successful life so far, without any setbacks.
Jinyou: I've passed every exam I've ever taken, enjoyed numerous successful business ventures, and seem to get on with just about everyone socially... In most people's eyes, I am already the very embodiment of the perfect person, though of course, I'd never let the praise get to my head. I know I haven't reached perfection yet... because there's one thing I'm still missing... A Vision."

[The trio could only nods their head with a feeling of understanding of Jinyou's story.]
Paimon: "You have so much self-confidence..."
Lumine: "Say... Do you have tournament experience?"
Musashi: "If you do... That means you are a renowned fighter."

[Jinyou chuckled in amusement.]
Jinyou: "That's not important... I have a contact in The Crux Fleet who was happy to vouch for me. So, they very kindly made special arrangements on my behalf. I've also brought along a bit of entourage, for moral support. It's such a blessing, really, to have so many good friends in my neighborhood. Of course, I also put in a few good days' practice, concentrating mostly on rare and esoteric styles of kung fu. As a high-achiever by nature, I'm confident I've done enough to guarantee my victory in this tournament."

[But then, Musashi laughed...]
Musashi: "Don't be so sure..."

Paimon: "Hi there, are you here for The Crux Clash too?"

Chai Yi: "That's right. Nothing beats real-life combat for honing your skills. That's what our master taught us. But this tournament is more than just a chance to put training into practice — it's also a chance for us to obtain the Masterless Vision."

Liang: "Exactly! With a Vision, we'd quickly become our master's top students."
Paimon: "This master of yours must be pretty incredible, huh... Are they someone famous?"

[Chai Yi seems excited when he tries to explain the trio about his and Liang's master.]
Chai Yi: "Famous? He's the founder of the Lingshan Clan, and his skills are unparalleled! Liang and I are both disciples of his."
Lumine: "The Lingshan Clan...?"
Musashi: "Well... Doesn't ring a bell."

[Chai Yi just smiles and nods at the trio.]
Chai Yi: "You probably wouldn't have heard of it, it was founded quite recently. The clan is nowhere near as famous as the master himself, anyway. He's got to be a grandmaster or something. He's created many different styles of kung fu, and countless other clans have borrowed extensively from him. To the Lingshan Clan, he teaches a special technique known as "force dispersal."
Paimon: "Force dispersal?"

[All of a sudden, Chai Yi's excitement  to tell the trio about his master's abilities raised up. Liang also smiles as he let Chai Yi do the talk.]
Chai Yi: "It's a type of breathing exercise where you can train yourself to harness the energy around you and neutralize attacks without moving an inch. For example, our master can use it to alter the path of an attacking fist, or change the direction of an incoming stone, all without breaking a sweat! One time, he sent a challenger flying into the air without lifting a finger!"

[For some reason... Musashi feels it hard to believe. Back then in Chaldea... She remembers about a Master of Martial Arts named Li Shuwen and have saw him fight, but never without lifting a finger.]
Musashi: "Uh... Is that really possible?"
Chai Yi: "It sure is! But it's extremely difficult to cultivate this ability. We've been training for ages, and we're still getting to grips with the very basics. There's no way we could use it proficiently yet."

[All of a sudden, Liang sighed in defeat.]
Liang: "We're clearly not that naturally gifted, or we would have at least gotten the gist by now... If we don't start making progress soon, we'll probably run out of money to pay the tuition fees and still have nothing to show for all our training..."

[Paimon is shocked when Liang mention about "tuition fee".]
Paimon: "There's a tuition fee!?"
Liang: "Of course! This is a grandmaster we're talking about here. He doesn't have time to waste. If you want face-to-face training, you've gotta show you're sincere about it."

[Again, Chai Yi sighed in defeat.]
Chai Yi: "But here we are... having trained under him directly all this time without even a hint of improvement. Master is getting increasingly impatient with us. Recently, though, we heard that a Vision bearer joined the Guhua Clan and made pretty much instant progress in their traininga! So, if we can get our hands on a Vision, too, maybe we can finally make our master proud!"

[Both Lumine and Musashi giggles nervously because they don't know what to say to them, except...]
Musashi: "Well... A Vision won't make you better at martial arts."
Lumine: "There may be other reasons why you can't seem to master this technique..."

[Both Chai Yi and Liang nods their head as they agree with both Lumine amd Musashi.]
Chai Yi: "Well, we have to try something new, otherwise, we're stuck in the same situation."
Liang: "Exactly, it can't hurt to try. And if it turns out it does work, the Lingshan Clan will go down in history! Folks will come from far and wide. Heck, we could even become the dominant martial arts clan in all of Liyue!"

[Both Lumine and Musashi could only nods their head and smiles nervously.]
Musashi: "Well... that's the spirit."
Lumine: "Y-Yeah! Can't fault you for trying..."
Chai Yi: "See you in the arena!"

[And... After the trio talks with some of the competitor, they decides to register for the tournament, and there...]

[Zhuhan, the registar for the tournament is sighing after saw a competitor with stupid "nickname". The trio approaches her, and...]
Zhuhan: "Next please... what's your name?"
Lumine: "I'm Lumine."
Zhuhan: "Lumine..."

[Instantly, Zhuhan and the others competitor widened their eyes i  shock after hearing Lumine's name.]
Zhuhan: "Wait! A—Aren't you...!?"
Clash Competitor 1: "Did I hear that right!? Lumine!?"
Clash Competitor 2: "Is it really them!? Two traveler that one of them manages to Seal Osial with just single slash!?"
Clash Competitor 3: "...Huh? Aren't they a Vision bearer, though? Why are they trying to enter the Clash!?"

[Still shocked, Zhuhan tries to make sure.]
Zhuhan: "Uh... I—I have to ask... aren't you the traveler that helped Liyue fight off that ancient god...?"
Lumine: "Correct... And my friend here is the one that help us sealing that ancient God."
Musashi: "Happy to help!"

[Again, Zhuhan and those Clash Competitor are awed by their appearences.]
Clash Competitor 4: It's really them!"
Clash Competitor 5: "The ones that spoke with Lady Keqing at the Rite of Parting!"
Clash Competitor 6: "Oh! Oh! I wonder if I can get their autograph later?"

[Zhuhan stuttered as she still shocked when she realize the one that she talked to right now are Heroes Of Liyue.]
Zhuhan: "I—I trust you are aware that... only those without Visions can enter the tournament?"
Lumine: "Well... I don't have a Vision."
Zhuhan: "Really? B—But from what I've heard, the things you're capable of in combat are... nothing short of extraordinary... You walk into the most dangerous situations imaginable, face off against all sorts of monsters — even the Fatui — and always come out on top!"

[Feeling proud, Paimon pointed her finger at Lumine and Musashi.]
Paimon: "Yup! They still don't have a Vision though. See for yourself!"
Zhuhan: "My apologies, I didn't mean to be rude. I'm sure a great hero like yourself would have no reason to lie. Now, could I ask you to provide a few claims to fame? It's just a formality for you, of course, but I have to make a record of competitors' achievements as part of the sign-up process... So far I've got "Defeated the ancient god, Osial," so that's one. Do you... have any others?"

[And... both Lumine and Paimon's face just shows a smug face.]
Lumine: "Well... We are the Honorary Knight of the Knights of Favonius."
Paimon: "Yeah! Also, don't forget to mention that previous battles include, but are not limited to "Stormterror" Dvalin and Fatui Harbinger, Childe."

[Zhuhan registers Lumine's name to join the tournament. She feels amazed by Lumine and also Musashi's achievement.]
Zhuhan: "Right, your registration is complete. Now, a brief word about the prize. A great hero such as yourself can surely only be here for one thing — to win the tournament and claim the grand prize, namely, a Vision."
Paimon: "Oh, we're not here for that. We're here because Captain Beidou promised to take us to Inazuma if we win the tournament."

[Those competitor widened their eyes in shock when Paimon said they prefer to go to Inazuma rather than taking that Masterless Vision.]
Clash Competitor 9: "There's another prize too? First I've heard of it!"
Clash Competitor 10: Beidou must have upped the stakes this time to attract top talent!"
Clash Competitor 11: "But why would anyone want to go somewhere as dangerous as Inazuma?"

[Zhuhan cleared her throat. The trio just smiles smugly.]
Zhuhan: "...I see, so... I take it you discussed your terms with Beidou in advance, then."
Musashi: "Wow... Everyone's misunderstanding the situation.
Zhuhan: "Well, nobody expected you to sign up to a tournament like this... I can hardly believe it myself, to be honest... Anyway, the qualifying rounds are about to begin. I'll leave you to your preparation."

[Then, the trio walk away as Lumine prepared for the tournament.]
Paimon: "Hey, so, Paimon's thinking about that whole "no Vision bearers" rule in this tournament. Even though you don't have a Vision, most people in Teyvat think that you can't manipulate the elements without one."

[Musashi nods in agreement.]
Musashi: "You know... Paimon is right about this. Best for you not to use your elemental abilities."
Paimon: "In any case, looking at the competition, it should still be pretty easy for you to win even without using any elements, right?"

[Lumine also nods her head as she understands what Musashi and Paimon meant.]
Lumine: "Yes! Makes sense!"
Paimon: "Alright, it's showtime! You got this!"

[Then, Lumine stands on the arena... for her first fight. Musashi stands behind the line where Lumine's standing as the others are standing on the sidelines.]
Beidou: "Our next competitor is seen by many as the favorite to win this tournament. Her first bout begins now!"

[Musashi pats Lumine's shoulder from behind. Lumine glanced back to look at her lover.]
Musashi: "You got this."
Lumine: "Thanks, Musashi."

[Musashi walks back behind the line. And... Lumine's first opponent is Jinyou... He already shivered in fear.]
Jinyou: "Y—You... You're the hero they're talking about? Argh! How am I supposed to win now!?"

[And... two minutes later...]

Jinyou: "AAAHHH!!! YOU ARE TOO STRONG!!! DADDY!! MOMMY!! HELP ME!!!"

[As Musashi predicted, Lumine could defeat Jinyou under 5 minutes. Jinyou runs away like a coward after being defeated by Lumine. Beidou and Kazuha approaches the trio.]
Beidou: "Hahaha, I knew I wouldn't regret introducing you as the favorite!"

[Then, Beidou pats Kazuha's back lightly.]
Beidou: "So what do you think, Kazuha? She totally dominated that guy, and did it with style, too!"
Kazuha: "Impressive. But I also observed our favorite exercise some restraint, as if to protect the opponent from serious harm."

[Musashi chuckles at Kazuha's comment. On the other hand, Beidou seems agree with it, but...]
Beidou: Well, I've fought my fair share of battles, both big and small. And I say, after the show she put on just now, she's more than convinced me of his ability. So... Not to mention... you must be itching to fight someone in your league, too, right? So, I'm putting you straight through to the semi-finals!"

[The trio were shocked after Beidou announce that she puts Lumine straight to the semi-finals. Kazuha just chuckled because of their reaction.]
Musashi: "SAY WHAT!?
Paimon: "Huh!? But we only just started on the qualifiers... Seems like a crazy system if we just skip straight to the semi-finals!"
Kazuha: "This is how Captain Beidou works. You won't persuade her otherwise. Besides, at your level, you would have made it to the semi-finals anyway."
Paimon: "Huh. To be fair, Paimon was thinking that too..."

[Beidou laughed softly and decides to continue watches the tournament to find out any contenders.]
Beidou: "Alright, I'm gonna watch some more of the tournament. If there's any potential contenders for you out there, I want to know who they are and what they're about."

(Around 1,5 hours later...)
[After a long wait, Lumine's opponent in the semi-final is finally decided.]
Beidou: "We're finally here, folks! The real show is about to begin!"
Kazuha: "Hehe... The captain seems to have high hopes for this tournament. I have not seen her so excited in quite some time. Your opponent has fought many rounds to get to the semi-finals. This makes him a seasoned warrior. You may well be stronger than him, but this should not give you cause to lower your guard."

[Lumine nods in understanding.]
Lumine: "I won't. After all... I haven't forgotten why I'm here."
Kazuha: "Very well. Show me that you are ready to push through the storm that lies ahead."

[As the semi-finals starts, Lumine walks and stand on the arena. The people are cheering for both of the competitor.]

[Lumine's opponent stands fast and ready to fight.]

Rongshi: "I don't care about the prize... You're a strong opponent. That's what I'm here for."
Lumine: "In that case... I won't hold back!"

[Rongshi threw three hammers at Lumine, but Lumine deflected it with her sword.]
Lumine: "HUP!"

*WUSH!*
[Lumine sprinted and swings her blade at him but the Rongshi manages to dodge it.]
Rongshi: "Too Slow! Come on!"
Lumine: "HAH!!!"

*WUSH!* *TANG!*
[Lumine suddenly appears behind him and attacked him from behind, he noticed and blocked it with his iron hammer!]
Lumine: "Ugh!"
Rongshi: "Tch... I think i underestimate you, young lady!"

*WUSH!* *TANG!*
[Rongshi pushed her away and was ready to attack her. Lumine blocked his attack with her swords!]
Rongshi: "What?!"
Lumine: "Not today, old man!"

*BUAGH!*
Rongshi: "OUCH!!"

[Lumine kicked the Rongshi on the guts and pushed him away.]
Lumine: "You're quite persistent! You really have a soul of a fighter!"

[Rongshi takes two steps back in pain. And he falls on his knee. Lumine points her sword at him.]
Lumine: "I'm sorry, old man. But i win."

[Instead of angry, Rongshi chuckled in satisfaction.]
Rongshi: "I'm sweating all over. It's a good feeling."

[Rongshi tried to stand despite in pain and shakes hand with Lumine. Musashi and Paimon swiftly approaches them.]
Rongshi: "Congratulations, I was beaten by the best. I need to train harder."
Lumine: "You fought very well yourself. I believe you have the potential to be champion, old man."

[Paimon and Musashi also agree with Lumine's comment.]
Paimon: "Right! For a moment there, Paimon was a little worried...
Musashi: "If you had a Vision, you'd definitely be one of the strongest around, old man."

[Rongshi just laughed sadly and decide to tell his life's story.]
Rongshi: "I wanted a Vision, once, when I was a kid. People said that if you're strong enough you'll have your chance to get one. But mine never came. I lost interest, eventually. Lumine: "Well... All I did was touch the Statue of The Seven."

Lumine: "It's all thanks to Paimon's knowledge."
Musashi: "And her companionship, too. If it's not because of her... We would have gotten lost."

[Paimon blushed in happiness after being complimented by both Lumine and Musashi.]
Paimon: "Aw, it's nothing, really. Paimon just told them whatever came to mind. It's been a long journey, and many thing have happened along the way. Somehow, Lumine just naturally learned to use the elements through it all... Honestly, even Paimon doesn't understand how it all works."

[Kazuha just nods. He seems already have the conclusion about this matter.]
Kazuha: "Perhaps such unfathomable things are the essence of the gods and the Visions they grant. However, I still wish to have the honor of seeing how you wield the elements, perhaps it may reveal something to me.

[At the same time, a numbers of Hilichurls appeared and starts walking toward them.]
Kazuha: "Of course, I too shall share with you all that I've learned. That will make it a fair exchange."
Lumine: "Fair enough."

[Kazuha nods with satisfaction.]

[All of a sudden, In Lumine's hands formed a ball of Anemo's power. with great pressure. And Lumine mustered up her inner strength, and...]
Lumine: "HAAAAAAAA!!!!!"

*BRUAAAGGHHH!!!!*
[Musashi's power hit the Head Guard in the stomach and he was sent flying far away!]
Paimon: "Alright! She did it!"
Musashi: "Good job, Lumine!"

*CLAP!*
[Her power and technique manages to send those Hilichurl far away from there. Musashi do the high five with Lumine. Kazuha impressed by her feats.]
Kazuha: "Hmm, your skills in battle are truly beyond reproach. Even with your opponent's speed, he shouldn't be able to overwhelm you."
Musashi: "Okay, Kazuha... Now, care to share?"

[Kazuha chuckles and nods his head.]
Kazuha: "Your opponent is skilled at controlling his breathing and maintaining balance, which enables him to execute moves that many would find impossible. Paimon: "You seem kinda obsessed with Visions... but don't you already have your own? Why are you so intent on exploring the connection between Visions and the elements?"

[Kazuha looks at the sky... He tried his best to answer Paimon's sensitive question.]
Kazuha: "I desire to know what meaning Visions have to the gods. And what influences the gods' decision to grant humans these Visions."

[Kazuha swiftly shook his head and look back at the trio with sad smile.]
Kazuha: "My apologies, you must be completely in the dark regarding such matters. For allowing me the honor of witnessing your mystical ways, I am willing to answer any questions you may have regarding Inazuma."
Musashi: "Well... We are indeed in the dark, so please enlighten us."
Kazuha: "So... that's what you're curious about? Haha, then allow me to tell you more."

[Kazuha tries to told the trio about the current situation at Inazuma. Makoto and Guizhong (in spirit form) are also there to hear it.]
Kazuha: "As you well know, a Vision Hunt Decree is currently underway in Inazuma. Visions are a gift bestowed by the divine. Makoto: "No... Paimon is right about this... My little sister... has changed..."

[Makoto feels hurt, but she cannot deny Paimon's claim. On the other side, Kazuha sighed.]

Paimon: "Oh, right! We got so distracted talking about Inazuma that Paimon forgot all about the tournament."
Kazuha: "If you have no other matters to attend to, then we can return together."

[Lumine nods her head and smile.]
Lumine: "Sure, let's go together."
Kaedehara Kazuha: "Very well, let's go. I wish to see who will obtain the Vision."
Musashi: "Alright! Let's head back!"

[Then, the four of them walk back towards the area where the tournament were held. And, when they got there, they saw Beidou, who is seem confused by the situation.]
Beidou: "Huh, why isn't he here yet..."
Musashi: "Beidou?"

[Beidou looks at the four of them. She swiftly shook her head.]
Beidou: "Never mind! We can start by making your entrance first, Lumine!"

[Lumine nods and start walking to the arena. Beidou swiftly makes the announcement.]
Beidou: "Everyone, listen up. Your attention, please! We've reached the climax of The Crux Clash. This is the final match! We've seen many exciting battles today, and now, at long last, the two finalists have emerged."

[Lumine stands alone in the middle of the arena, smiling proudly.]
Beidou: "Now, I'd like to introduce our first combatant. Though few have seen her, her reputation knows no bounds..."

Beidou: "She strikes fear into the heart of Osial and the mere mention of her name causes even Fatui Harbingers to turn pale in the face... Introducing Liyue's traveling hero, Lumine!!!"

[Then, those people are cheering for Lumine.]
Clash Competitor 1 : "Wooooow!!!"
Clash Competitor 2 : "I've been waiting for this moment!"

[The cheers last for two minutes, and after the cheers died down...]
Beidou: "I'm sure everyone witnessed her thrilling match in the semi-finals. But today's final round will surly take things up a notch!"

[But then.. Situation seems a bit off.]
Beidou: "As for our other combatant... Uh, he still hasn't arrived."

[And after 5 minutes passed... Lumine's opponent hasn't showed up yet.]

[Beidou gritted her teeth in anger as the others still doesn't know what the heck just happened there.]
Beidou: "Huh! I never thought that someone here would have the guts to cross Captain Beidou."
Kazuha: "No need to worry, even the craftiest sleight of hand does not escape nature's watchful gaze."

[Kazuha tries to keep calm as he keeps trying to asess the situation.]
Musashi: "That thief musn't have gone that far."
Kazuha: "Yes. The culprit has acted recently. They will not have gotten far. The Vision was the prize that I had offered, and it will be my responsibility to look after it. I will be certain to get it back."

[Beidou sighed in annoyance. But, she agrees with Kazuha's plan.]

Kazuha: "Come with me. I can sense the winds are coming."

[Those four of them walks away from thr arena. They saw a wind currents...]
Paimon: "Huh? A wind current?"
Musashi: "Strange... I didn't saw that wind current recently."
"Kazuha: "The winds have come at an opportune moment. Let's seize this chance. Ride the winds upward. From there, we can continue our search for clues."

[Using that wind current, they all just reached the first small island beside the Guyun Stone Forest. And there...]
Paimon: "By the way, what made you suddenly think of checking the prize in the first place?"
Kazuha: "I heard it the moment it was stolen."
Paimon: "Well.. Then why didn't you stop him!?"
Kazuha: "You'll see. Shortly."

[Again, the four of them use the wind current and reaches the final island. And when they land... They saw numerous Treasure Hoarders are waiting for them.]

[And... Musashi keeps swinging her katana like a madman. She has opens their path... Until, they found  the Treasure Hoarder who stole the Vision.]
Musashi: "Got you!"

Fei the Flyer: "You caught up with me... How is that possible!? I had even prepared a boat to ensure a quick getaway, and still, you caught up to me."
Kazuha: "No boat could ever match the speed of the wind."
Fei the Flyer: "The wind? What are you talking about?"

[Then, Fei the Flyer knew what Kazuha meant.]
Fei the Flyer: "Oh, I get it... your Vision! Drat, if only I had a Vision... Or if I could activate this one, then you'd never be able to catch me!"

[Kazuha shook his head and denied Fei the Flyer's claim.]
Kazuha: :This has nothing to do with Visions. You may be skilled at vanishing from a crowd, but it seems you know precious little about how to conceal yourself from nature's gaze. Additionally, your chosen escape route was flawed for reasons that are too numerous to go into, and on top of that, I could hear your boasting and proud laughter in the wind as I was pursuing you. In other words, you failed to meet and of the basic criteria for a grand heist: namely speed, stealth, and style."

[Fei the Flyer got cornered. He doesn't know how to rebuke Kazuha's words.]
Fei the Flyer: "You... You!"
Kazuha: "But most disappointing of all is the state of the Vision in your hand. It appears that the Vision doesn't respond to human desire indiscriminately."

[Defeated, Fei the Flyer has no choice but to confess his sins.]
Fei the Flyer: "Fine, fine! I admit it! I've had my eyes on this Vision for quite some time now. I decided to register after hearing that this fighting contest was full of a bunch of lousy fighters. I fought my way to the finals and..."
Paimon: "Aha, so you were supposed to be our opponent!"

[Feels angry, Fei the Flyer keep talking and confess his fault.]
Fei the Flyer: "I'd intended to win the contest through skill alone all along, but then you showed up! After watching the semi-finals, I knew that I didn't stand a chance. [Then, both Lumine and Musashi tries to scare off Fei the Flyer.]
Lumine: "You've got nowhere else to run now, just give it up."
Fei the Flyer: "Ugh... Drat... This could — this should have gone differently..."
Musashi: "Hand over the Vision."
Fei the Flyer: "After all I went through to get it? I think not!"

[Kazuha just sighed and do his own way...]
Kazuha: "You know, according to the laws of the sea, the penalty for stealing is breaking the culprit's arms."
Fei the Flyer: "Huh! You're not serious, are you!?"
Kazuha: "Not to mention that the item you stole was a prize, you didn't show up for the final match, and you damaged the reputation of the captain of The Crux Fleet. It seems that it would only be fair to brand the word "thief" on your forehead with a hot iron."

Kazuha: (H-How could she-)
Musashi: "You know what... I'll give you two options... Give that Vision back to us or you will get a hole on your chest."

[Fei the Flyer seems shivers and piss on his pants. He swiftly bow down and beg.]
Fei the Flyer: "No, no! Do what you want, but please, don't brand my forehead and don't kill me, please!!!"

[Kazuha came back to his senses and looked at the frightened Fei the Flyer. And...]
Kazuha: "Hmm... He has persevered to the bitter end, and now death looms near... yet still, the gods do not bestow their favor upon him. Just Put down the Vision and leave. I've changed my mind... No further punishment for you."
Fei the Flyer: "Huh?"

[Then, The Electro power from Musashi's hand gradually disappeared.]
Kazuha: "What's wrong? Are you asking for more punishment? It's up to you. Such willingness is commendable and fits the way of the samurai."
Fei the Flyer: "N—No, no need for that. Thank you for releasing me. You truly are generous!"

[The Treasure Hoarder drops that Vision and leaves in a frenzy. Musashi takes that vision from the ground and give it to Kazuha.]
Paimon: "Huh, Paimon doesn't get it. Were you just trying to scare him?"

[Kazuha chuckled and shook his head.]
Kazuha: "I take no pleasure in frightening others. I was just testing all possibilities while the Vision remained in his hands. When people are forced into a corner, that is when their greatest strength will appear. I thought it may be an opportunity for him to awaken the Vision."

[Kazuha looks at that Masterless Vision for a bit, before he hold it tightly and put it back to his pocket.]
Kazuha: "But unfortunately, nothing happened."
Musashi: "So... you were planning this all along?"

[Kazuha nods... He tries that plans but it failed.]
Kazuha: "Yes, I wanted to know whether it were possible for an extinguished Vision to be reawakened. From the moment he stole the Vision, I decided to use him for this experiment. I have tried many other methods in the past. Though few tales tell of a "masterless Vision re-awakening"... After seeing you command multiple elements, I figured that nothing is impossible."

[Kazuha lend that vision to Lumine.]

Lumine: "I'll try."

[But, as Lumine tries to transfer the elemental power into that Vision... nothing happened.]

[The trio seems worried for Kazuha. He looks desperate when it's about this masterless vision.]
Musashi: "Why are you so attached to this Vision?"
Paimon: "Yeah, what's the story behind this Vision, anyway?"

[Kazuha smiles sadly as he looks at that Masterless Vision... This Vision reminds him of...]

Perhaps he thought he of all people should make a stand... Coming face to face with the Musou No Hitotachi... Was all that he truly desired, after all. When I arrived at Tenshukaku... The duel was over. I heard his sentence of divine punishment... His severed blade hitting the ground... Perhaps that was the glory he had yearned to witness. In his last moments... What expression was on his face? Before I knew it... I had stepped forward and snatched the dying Vision. And was running from the scene. All I knew was that I mustn't let his hope which burned so brightly... Become buried among the ice-cold statue of a God."

[The trio (also Makoto and Guizhong) finally learned the truth. They finally know Kazuha's backstory.]
Kazuha: "Perhaps one day I may come to find that all I have done is meaningless. But as a wandering samurai, I find meaning in traveling and the sprawling beauty of nature that lies along the way, while still retaining the "warrior way" in my heart."
Paimon: "Kazuha..."

[Kazuha just chuckled.]
Kazuha: "Hehe, it's just another way of saying I do as I please. Alright then. It's time we returned."

[They nods at Kazuha. They tries to show their support for him.]
Musashi: "Let's go."
Kazuha: "Allow me to gather the wind for us once more."
Lumine: "And if you need to talk more, we're here to listen.
Kazuha: "...Do not let my feelings trouble you. But thank you..."

[And after they got that Masterless Vision back, they all walked back to the arena. When they got there, people are there, but...]
Paimon: "Huh? Did Beidou leave already? Maybe she went back to her ship?"

[The trio were shocked when they know Raiden Shogun could control the weather.]
Musashi: "WHAT!?
Paimon: "Hold on a second, you're saying she can change the weather just with the power of her mind!?"

[Kazuha just nods.]
Kazuha: "Let us not forget that this is one of the Seven Archons. If Liyue's Morax could form Guyun Stone Forest by casting down his stone spears, then it should come as no great surprise that the Raiden Shogun is capable of summoning an eternal tempest. Suffice it to say that if you wish to journey to Inazuma, the Alcor will need some time. You will be notified once all the preparations have been made. In the meantime, I intend to embark on a journey of my own. I will travel all across the vast lands of Liyue, in the hope of finding a way to reawaken the Vision."

[Paimon nods excitedly as the trio shows support for Kazuha.]

Kazuha: "Thank you. May both our journeys prove meaningful. One final word of warning. The part of your journey that lies after the storm may well prove to be the most arduous."

(2 days later...)
[And, the two days later... Musashi, Lumine and Paimon would leave for Inazuma. And, now, the trio were at the docks looking at the Alcor Ship.]
Musashi: "...."
Lumine: "...."
Paimon: "I guess it's time to go."
????: "And it's hard to say goodbye, right?"

[They heard a feminine voice... And when they turned back, they saw Keqing, Ganyu and Ningguang.]
Musashi: "You three?"
Keqing: "We can't see you guys leaving without saying goodbye."
Musashi: "....It's hard to say to goodbye, Neko-chan. So, we-"

[Ganyu hugs Musashi and Lumine tight. She smiles deeply at both of them.]

[The trio boards into the Alcor Ship and they were welcomed by the Captain!]
Beidou: "Ah, you finally made it! All these years, come rain or storm, the Crux Fleet has never suffered a delay. If it were anyone else, I might've set sail already."
Lumine: "Apologies, Captain!"
Musashi: "It's an honor to be aboard!"

[Beidou laughed hard.]
