Aera' s pov
I was at Ye-sol 's school because it was open day Oppa had gone but he had to go to his office so he asked me to take Ye-sol home.
I got out of my car to see Ye-sol and Oppa coming out.
I also saw...JAE-JUN!?
Why was he here!?
" Aunty Aera!" Ye-sol yelled and ran towards me with open arms.
" Hi my cutie pie! Did you make appa proud?" I asked.
" Yes she made appa very proud" Oppa said pinching her cheeks.
I saw Jae-jun walking towards us with his hands in his pocket.
" Babe what are you doing here?" I whispered to him.
" Just came to see my daughter performance in studies" He said as I rolled my eyes.
" Aera can you please take Ye-sol home, I need to talk to Jae-jun" Oppa said.
I tried to protest but Jae-jun agreed.
I gave him a warning look before going and putting Ye-sol in the car seat.
I was buckling her up when a felt a coat being put on my shoulders.
" Babe...Your skirt is too short, you can't bend in this" Jae-jun said tugging my skirt down.
" Ye-sol why don't you listen to some song and eat snacks I bought for you. I just have to talk to uncle real quick okay?" I said caressing her cheeks and giving her snacks.
" OKay aunty" she said and started singing songs played on the radio.
I closed the car before turning around and facing Jae-jun, crossing my arms over my chest.
" What did you and Do-yeong talk about?" I asked.
" Nothing, just business and how to raise kids better" He said with a smirk.
I just rolled my eyes and let out a frustrated sigh.
" Okya bye. I have to take Ye-sol back home" I said and got into the car
I waited for him to say 'bye' or ' I love you' but he just walked away. Weird.
I shrugged it of my mind and started the car.
Time skip~
Yeon-ji and I were both in Ye-sol' s bathroom, I was bathing her.
" A parent teacher' s day!? Today!?" Yeon-ji asked shocked.
" Yeah there were a lot of appas in the classroom, but for sure appa was the coolest one" Ye-sol said as I smiled.
" Ye-sol why do you keep breaking your promise? I want to know everything about school, and everything your teacher says and does to you" Yeon-ji burst out.
" Yah Ha Yeon-ji she's a child! You can't yell at her!" I scolded.
" I told you when we were eating dinner before. I said that all the dads were coming today" Ye-sol' s voice cracked.
" Eomma is sorry baby, my mind has just been here and there today, forgive Eomma" Yeon-ji said
" Ye-sol come baby, let's get out or you'll catch a cold" I said wrapping her in a towel and bringing her inside the room.
" Which pajamas should we wear today?" I asked showing two sets.
" I want the strawberry one!" She beamed.
" Good choice" I said and helped her wear her pajamas.
" Come one. Let's get in to bed" I said and grabbed a story book.
Few days later~
I got a call from Jae-jun' s personal lawyer, why is he calling me.
" Yes Ahjussi?" I answered.
" Aera where is Jae-jun?" He asked.
" I think he' s gone to his shop Siesta. Why are you calling me Ahjussi?" I asked.
" I can't reach him, so can you please tell him that I have come up with a plan to make Ye-sol his child" He said as I let out a scoff in astonishment.
" WHAT!?" I yelled and cut the call.
" What is he trying todo" I muttered and got in to my car.
Time skip~
" Jae-jun! What are you trying todo" I asked barging in his shop.
" What do you mean sweetheart?" He asked.
" Don't act innocent!? Are you trying to make Ye-sol your child again!?" I asked in disbelief.
" Yes cause I'm the real father!" He said.
" Jae you can't do this" I said coming closer to him and caressing his cheek.
" WHY WHY CAN'T I!?" He screamed.
" Don't ruin anyone's life Jae-jun" I yelled.
" You know...I really thought you would always be by my side. Guess I was wrong. You lied to me in the first place!" He yelled.
" But-" I was cut of by him pushing me out of the shop.
" Don't show me your face ever again" He spat and slam the door.
" JAE-JUN! OPEN THE DOOR PLEASE! LET'S JUST TALK ABOUT THIS CALMLY" I yelled banging on the door but he didn't open it.
Sighing in defeat, I walked away.
Few days later~
I had been continuously vomiting for these past few days.
" Ma'am here you go" A maid said handing me the pregnancy kit.
We were really careful while doing it, but I think I forgot to take the pill this month.
" Thank you Sofia" I said and shut my room door.
" Okay let's get over with this" I said and walked into the bathroom.
5 minutes later~
My alarm clock rang but I was too nervous to pick up the stick, which was facing down.
With shaky hands, I grabbed it and closed my eyes taking a deep breath.
" 1....2....3!" I said and flipped the stick.
Tears started forming in my eyes as I saw the results.
Positive.....
" I need to tell this to Jae-jun" I whimpered.
" C'mon it's now or never" I encouraged myself and changed my clothes.
Time skip~
I was in front of Jae-jun's house, giving myself a small pep-talk.
I rang the door bell and waited for it to be opened.
I heard footsteps on the other side of the door.
" What do you want Miss Kang" Each of his word was laced with poison.
" Babe-" I tried to say but he cut me off.
" DON'T CALL ME THAT! JUST GO AWAY" He yelled.
" Please just listen to me-" I tried to complete, tears already flowing down my face.
I pressed my forehead on the door and whispered.
" Please Jae, just give me a chance. Whatever I did was for a reason"
" JUST. GO. THE. FUCK. AWAY" He said slowly.
" Jae-jun..." The door suddenly burst open.
I looked up at him and gasped, stepping back.
He held a knife in his hand.
I quickly put my hand in front of my stomach in a protective way.
My breath hitched as he took a small step towards me.
" Aera...You have fucking 5 seconds to run!" He threatened and took another step.
" Ja-" He cut me of by roughly pining me to the wall, making me wince.
" 1....2...." He started counting.
" OKAY OKAY! I'm going!" I screamed
He stepped back and allowed me to go.
I quickly pressed the elevator button and went inside, trembling.
Yeon-ji' s pov~
It was about 11:30 and I was about to tell Ye-sol to go to sleep when suddenly the door bell rang.
Who would come at this hour?
I looked towards Do-yeong who was already standing up.
" Yeon-ji let me see" He said protectively and went to the door.
He opened the door....
There stood Aera, her eyes were red and puffy.
" Aera! What happened?" I asked pulling her inside the house.
" Jae-jun...He..." She tried to speak but the hiccups came in the way.
" Go get water" I ordered one of the maids.
" Here have some water" I said.
She drank a few sips, her fingers were trembling when she was holding the glass.
" Come let's talk upstairs" I said and held her shoulders, to give her support.
We entered my room, I locked the door and made her sit on the bed.
" What happened? Your making me really worried" I said and sat beside her.
" Yeon-ji-nah....I'm pregnant" She whispered as I embraced.
" That such great news! Congratulations! Why are you crying about this?" I asked.
" It's all messed up Yeon-ji-nah!" She sobbed.
Aera's pov~
" Jae-jun found out about Ye-sol. Now he doesn't want to speak to me. I went to his house today but he held....a...knife at me" I cried hysterically.
" God I want to kill that son of a bitch Jae-jun!" Yeon-ji muttered.
" What should I do now! It's all messed up! Worst part is he doesn't even know about the baby" I sniffled.
" Shhh...Don't cry. We'll figure something out. Okay?" Yeon-ji said patting my head.
" I'm scared Yeon-ji-nah" I whispered.
She put her head on mine and caressed my back.
" Don't worry, It will all be fine" She said wiping my tears.
" Aunty Aera. Are you okay?" A small voice said.
We both looked to see Ye-sol standing by the door, holding her teddy bear.
" Ye-sol I told you not to go in there" A hushed voice said as Oppa came in the view.
" Sorry I tried to stop her" He apologized
" It's okay Oppa. Yes Ye-sol I'm completely fine" I sniffled and smiled at her.
" Come Ye-sol" Yeon-ji said and opened her arms out.
" What were ya'll talking about" Ye-sol asked sitting on her mother's lap.
" We were talking about....If aunty should stay here tonight or not" Yeon-ji made up.
" Please stay aunty!" Ye-sol whined coming in my lap.
" okay okay I'll stay" I said as the mother and daughter cheered.
