The Afternoon's sun slowly begins to fade, little by little Leaving shades of orange. It's just Five, but the sun is close to setting. The window lets some cold air in, Lucian 's eyes shining in gold as he continuously stares outside. His hair strands disturbing him, playing with his lashes. There's a unique pleasure, seeing him so peaceful and Calm. I folded the foil paper, tossing it in my bag. one which contained a sandwich some minutes before. His mom packed it for him, "she always packs some extra for me and then my friends." He said when I felt awkward taking the food. Me on the other hand packed nothing, because I was meant to go home, Before one of my friends called me and said she saw a person, exactly like the one I painted.

It took me some moments to digest what Lia said, "Damn bro That majestic guy you painted? Probably the dream of your man? I just saw a guy identical to him, on the station. Anyways, I'm leaving, my train is here." She whisper-yells on the phone. "I don't know what you're talking about-" I replied to her before My eyes fell onto a little canvas next to my bed in Dorm. The painting of Elion. I picked my half packed bags and suitcase, with only necessary needs, Leaving my novels and photographs albums behind. I ran so fast, Forgetting to lock my door.
Thankfully my roommate was still in the hostel somewhere. I didn't even think of meeting The guy I constantly saw in my dreams, memories. I knew that these memories were going to be with me forever, I couldn't get rid of them, I tried Doctors, pills of hallucinations and what not. Elion once again became my Home, this time in memories. The last memory was random for me, Before i connected all of it and before I got the call from Lia.
"I just bribed you with sandwiches." Lucian smirks with his closed eyes. "Oh that's a very disrespectful thing to say to a starving man."
I say my eyes on the pages, a slight fall, a slight pull and this book will fall apart. I have to write all of it, somewhere, so I won't lose it, so the pages won't get lost if torn. "You were nowhere near starving, if i didn't offer it, you would have just sat there forever, fearing being judged for eating." He says, making a sarcastic frown.
He's right, I would have starved myself unless I had no eyes on me, maybe when they were asleep. My eyes fall on the woman with a baby, her baby is still on her lap silent and half asleep. I attempt a smile when her eyes meet mine, her eyes are teary. She doesn't smile back nor move her gaze, I look at Lucian who's holding his lips, avoiding to laugh. "She would just think you're some creep if you smiled like that." He taunts whispering. "Shh." I say checking if she heard him.
"Don't worry she's been hearing you for a while, the story." He informs, I don't know what to feel about it but I feel anything but good. She isn't supposed to hear, it was meant for me and Lucian only. I stare at her, but now she's stroking the baby's hair. "It's fine she might be bored, she doesn't even have a phone I guess." I just realized that Lucian has been observing her l for a long time. "Okay, well stories are meant to be heard." I say as I turn the page.

{ "What is this Inconvenience you're causing to the king?" Elion said, looking at princess Alora. She doesn't look at him, staring at the floor. He is the eldest prince, Though he was Reason behind the giggles of the people in lionson. Prince Elion was always like the king, Kind and Understanding, Unlike The Princess, She was more like Their mother, Queen Alice. No matter how The queen was violently strict, king's and Prince's Kind and forgiving personality Also gave the title 'The land of Kindness.' This was before he went for Learning the High sword techniques, unlike The king, he liked magic but the void of not being the one to have it, started hurting his pride. King's brother was the second prince, But he lost his powers due to some foolishness. He died miserably. The king has always been thankful for not being so involved in magic that one lost its own control. "Do not yell at her." The king ordered, "it's not her fault." He speaks on behalf of the princess. "You have spoiled her." He argued back, his shoulders look broader, the golden hair
Reaching just an inch to his neck. The happy people of the land now are concerned about the Older Elion, Fearing he might just turn out as his sister. The king doesn't reply to him, nor does he say anything in return. Avoiding the topic temporarily. "It was nice seeing you. After three years, I hope the sword techniques you have learnt will be better than any of the second prince's magical powers." A pride, a sense of joy in his voice. "I won't disappoint you Father, But I will not use my skills in a mere war caused by irresponsibility of my sister." The weight of his voice caused all the people and air to still. "I came back because I completed what I was determined for, I will feel no proud to fight the battles that hold no sensible points." The king never expected him to say such words, the pure look of Confusion arises on everyone's faces, why did the king not reply to him? What's wrong with Prince Elion? "He's almost Nineteen,he can decide what he wants to do and what war he'll fight. I respect his decision." King says and Stands from his throne. Something on Elion's face tells everyone That he isn't the bubbly kid he used to be, he won't be going around making jokes and making everyone laugh, playing, His face that once resembled the king, started to resemble his mother With the time.}

"Dude! Stop. Oh my god is he the bad guy?" Lucian questions not letting me continue. "No." I say as quickly as possible, the possibility of him being the bad guy is a stab to one's heart. "He isn't the bad guy. He never was." I justify, He doesn't ask for anything more, I swallow back the other explanation. "You're attached to your characters, I can see it on your face." He claims.
"Yes. I'm." I say with no hesitation, I see the remaining pages of the books, so many, holding all the emotion that is just a story for Lucian. He wouldn't feel what I did, he wouldn't be desperate to know what happened, he wouldn't lose his sleep thinking about them. I got attached to them, before I dropped all of them on the paper. I hesitate to continue, he doesn't ask to. "The sunset looks so beautiful." He points out. My eyes follow his gaze and Notice the beauty of it, the shades of Oranges with hints of gold. I remove my camera, Placing it right on the window, the train is too fast to capture anything Without it being a little blurry, so instead I take my phone and tap the record button, Elion-Lucian slowly takes back his Arm that was resting around the window once he sees me pointing my camera. I record the sunset for a few seconds and point my phone at him, "what are you doing-?" He gives a toothy smile towards the camera, The shades suit his face just fine, The brown of his eyes Was never this golden. He looks like my next painting. With several failed attempts of making me stop recording him he stands and And cages me with his one hand, his Hand next to my shoulder, His face parallel to mine. My heart catches some quick beats. My hand freezes in the same place, Recording the empty seat he was sitting on with a corner of the window visible. He pauses the recording. "Do not record me please. I look miserable right now." He turns a little to face me, so close that I feel my eyes narrowing.
"Okay." A whisper leaves my mouth, My eyes fall onto a faint Mole under his Lips, Someone has to be at this distance to notice it.

He quickly gets away, maybe he noticed me being a creep, Maybe his heart felt the same as mine, Guess I'll never know. I save the video, when he gets back on his seat. I break the silence, when the sunset is covered with tall towers and buildings. "You're camera Shy." I say, More like telling him instead of asking. "I just look bad, I'll make you click my photos once we reach there." He keeps pushing his hairs back, It might be a little sweaty but they look glossy. His face edges more, the perfect V shaped jaw, The perfect Edges of Elion. "Why would I click your photos?" I joke, "Why would I be your guide?" He replies. I shrug and hear a laugh, but it's not Lucian's. It's a female, the only female here is The woman with the baby. I turn to face her, she smiles at Lucian, he smiles back.
I look back at her, "I'm sorry I didn't mean to eavesdrop on your conversation but you're just sitting very near." Her smile fades away, I give her forced, tight lipped smile, and look back at Lucian.
"It's fine." He mouths at me. I don't understand how someone listening to our talk is fine, but if he says. It might be for him.
"So, What about Elion?" He asks, and my brain jumps back to where he thought Elion was a bad guy. "What about him?" I ask, being dramatic on purpose, he's obviously Asking me to continue, but the fact that he might not get all those things in his head, And he'd just be a typical listener does no good for my anxiety. "He wasn't the bad guy, you know?" I say. I don't look him in the eyes, just at his fingers tapping around the window glass. "I didn't mean that way-" he tries to explain, but I don't want that right now.
I simply want reassurance and promise, "You can speak bad of anyone in this story, But not Elion. Even if you do, keep it to yourself." I warn with a calm voice. "Okay." He says but doesn't ask me to continue, Shows no sign of Curiosity. Maybe he thinks I'm overprotective of my story, maybe he thinks I over reacted. Maybe I think the same. I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket, Lia calling it shows. Lucian doesn't bother to break his gaze from the window, I pick the call. "Yo! Have you reached yet? I reached like some Minutes before and my mom is already nagging." I forgot to tell her that I'm not going back home for the holidays. "Oh well.." I try to speak in an attempt to make some sense. She knows all about my dreams but not the memories, Her Brother, my roommate does too.
But she doesn't know what she had done with that one simple call, she doesn't even know that painting was related to my dreams and memories, she thought it was some random guy from the internet. Because I always use the model's face claims for my paintings.

"I'm actually going somewhere, for my photography." This gives pleasure both to her and Lucian. I don't have to explain different things to each of them. "Are you crazy!? Your mom's gonna be so upset." She is disappointed. "I know, yes. I'll talk to you.....later?" I say, I want to tell her everything, but with Lucian's presence I cannot. I can text her but it'll make things complicated. "Well you better do, since my brother told me you didn't even collect your books and photographs, You left our Polaroids-" she complains, but I don't have time for this right now, "I'm sorry but I'm actually busy and would explain everything i promise." I say and hang up on her. "I'm sorry, she's a disaster." I apologize to Lucian, he doesn't seem to mind. "It's fine." He gives me a lazy laugh. "Girlfriend's are like that sometimes." He assumes. "No, wait- she's not my girlfriend, But a close friend." I explain, god knows why would he think that. "Oh, I see." Resting his Face on his hand. "So we both are single, huh? Not gonna lie, kinda sad." He laughs. I calm myself, he said he's single, didn't say he's into guys. Before i get the same overwhelming feeling I take a last gaze at the sun that's almost gone, and open the book again.
