Y/n's pov
When we arrived back to the castle. Before we got out of the vehicle i grabbed the new clothes he bought me. After getting out of the vehicle he of course began dragging me behind him.
My leg was no longer bleeding, but it still did hurt and i kept having problem with catching up to him.
Then as we stood in front of the big front door, the fatui soldiers opened it for us. And as always he then dragged me through many corridors and rooms before we finally got into my room.
'Back in this room again...'
He let go of my hand and started walking out, but before he did so he looked at me over his shoulder.
"I need to talk with someone. In the meantime go clean yourself, you look awful and put on the new clothes." He said and turned away to leave.
'I look awful thanks to you...'
"Wait!..." I shouted and he stopped. "What!?..." He answered coldly, not even turning to me.
"You said this coat belongs to another harbinger if i remember correctly... So won't you take it with you now?..." I asked, ready to take the coat off and give it to him.
He kept looking the other way. "I am about to see someone different so obviously no. Just leave it on the bed, i will send someone to take it." He said and opened the door, closing it behind him.
As he left i laid the new clothes on the bed to take off the coat. After putting the coat on the bed, i grabbed the new clothes again and made my way to the bathroom.
'Thank god i at least have a bathroom here...'
Even though i had my own bathroom, this was the first time he allowed me to use it.
After entering the bathroom, i closed the door behind me, locking it. Then put the new clothes on the ground and turned on the water in the bathtub.
As i started taking off my clothes i noticed that the wound on my leg from the ice was already almost fully healed.
'At least the fast healing is finally usefull...'
I turned the water off, getting into the bathtub. The water was warm which was good to warm me up, but also a bit painful due to how much frozen i was.
Though i tried to ignore the pain and just relax.
*Time skip / hour later*
Y/n's pov
Even though i didn't want to, because it was so relaxing, i got out of the bathtub and began drying off.
'Ironic enough that this will probably be my best memory from here...'
As i was drying off, i noticed that since i was clean now, the scars became a lot more visible.
'Damn...' I sighed.
After putting on the new clothes, i noticed it covered most of the scars. Well the ones on my forearms and neck were still visible. But all of the others were now hidden.
I then grabbed the old clothes and threw them into the trash can and unlocked the door, making my way back to the room.
To my surprise the coat really wasn't on my bed anymore so someone must have came here to take it.
I didn't think about it much though and just laid on the bed. Not able to fall asleep, i kept watching the ceiling in boredom.
After a while someone opened the door so i sat up and noticed Scaramouche entering my room.
"I see you're finished with your bath..~" He seemed to be in a better mood again, speaking to me in a teasing tone.
He came closer and sat next to me. "You look much better now~" He said and put a hand on my cheek. "From the outside you're perfect now~" He slid his hand down on my neck and chest. "But to be a perfect doll.." He moved his hand back up on my forehead. "You also need to be fixed from the inside.. You have to learn to obey my every command~" He said teasingly, looking right into my eyes.
'Stop calling me that!...'
I moved my head away from his touch and he just sighed. "Anyway, i just came here to tell you that i will be leaving to Inazuma for a week so you won't be seeing me." He said and stood up.
He turned to me and spoke again. "The soldiers will as always give you something to eat and drink and other harbingers are forbidden to come here."
"But since i won't be coming here, you need something to entertain yourself. So i am willing to bring you some books. What would you like?" He asked and crossed his arms, waiting for my answer.
'Hmm... Honestly i don't know...'
'Perhaps...'
'He will probably decline, but i will still give it a try...'
"Are there any books about the harbingers?" I asked curiously yet sure that he will decline.
"You're curious about us huh?~" He said and smirked at me. "There should be one in the library, if the soldiers find it i will give it to you. Is that all?" He asked and i shook my head 'yes'.
"Okay then.." He then made his way out and after few minutes came back with a book.
He gave it to me and crossed his arms again. The book was smaller than i expected, but looked really pretty. It had a silver-white cover with light blue gems in the corners and one big in the middle.
"It has just simple informations about us, like who we are, our names, reputaion or what we specialize in." He said and it was honestly enough for me, because right now i didn't know practicaly anything about them.
He watched me for a while before making his way out of my room without any word.
Since then i was alone. As he said before, the fatui soldiers did give me food and something to drink like always. Meanwhile i was sitting on the bed, the whole time reading the book he gave me.
It actually took me around two days to finish reading, because even though there were just simple informations about them, they were sometimes written in a way that took me a while to actually understand.
Also there weren't informations just about the harbingers, but also a bit about the Tsaritsa and about fatui in general.
But one specific information stole my attention for a while. It was about him.
'He's a... puppet?...'
'That's why his body is so cold...'
For some reason i started being more curious about him.
After finishing it and trying to understand as much as i can, a thought came to my mind.
'Wait i am curious... He said he borrowed the coat for me from another harbinger...'
'And if i remember correctly he called that person ginger... Which probably means that that person has ginger hair... I suppose...'
'Let's see who is it then...'
After scrolling through some pages i found him.
'Childe... or Tartaglia...'
'No. 11... That's the lowest position among them..'
A tall man with ginger hair and dull blue eyes. And with red mask on the side of his head.
'Honestly he's the most kind looking among them...'
'On the other hand if i had to choose one that i definitely don't want to meet...'
'Then it would be The Doctor...'
'The description about him sends chills down my spine...'
I kept rereading the book everyday, but the last two days i kind of became bored of it.
Since there was nothing else to do, i tried to sleep most of the time to get some strength and energy. But sleeping here was still a bit difficult for me.
The last day i managed to sleep longer than normally and since it was the day he was suppossed to come back. He came before i woke up.
3rd pov
"Come on~ It's almost noon~" Scaramouche said teasingly while sitting next to Y/n and playing with her hair. He seemed to be in rather good mood.
When Y/n slowly started opening her eyes he smirked at her. "Good morning my beautiful doll~"
"Did you miss me?" He asked and kept playing with her hair as she sat up.
The girl only yawned in response, but he didn't mind it. "I am sure you did." He said and she looked at him.
"I see you're in good mood... Why is that?..." Y/n asked without thinking since she was still half asleep.
"Curious are we huh?" He said and smirked again.
He sighed and spoke again. "Let's just say that i got something i really wanted and that the old woman is no longer going to annoy me-"
"Old woman?.." The girl asked.
"You've been reading about harbingers the whole time.. Guess who i mean by that.." He said.
"The Fair Lady?.. You mean she's dead?.." Y!n asked curiously yet a bit afraid for some reason.
"Exactly. You're my smart doll." He said and smirked again.

Ahhh what an unexpected surprise, i uploaded after 3 DAYS, yes just 3 days xddd lmao i was just bored and kinda got back my motivation to write.
I wanna finish and upload two more chapters that i already have in drafts, in just few days or weeks but i can't really promise i will be able to finish them in time.. Tho after them i will take a small pause again probably ^^'
