It's officially been 3 months since Saint has been locked up and Kalani is pissed now at him because he refuses to let her and Dakota come to see him. He doesn't want his daughter inside a jail and he didn't want Kalani to see him in this setting again
"Saint stop calling me! Unless you're letting me come see you we have nothing to talk about! 3 fucking months without seeing your face just stupid phone calls that's not enough for me! Everytime I try to see you it's some reason why I can't ! Just to find out you took my fucking name off the list" Kalani cursed Saint out and he smirked even though she was mad he missed hearing her curse at him
"Mama I'm sorry Ight I don't want you to come see me in this state. When i came back into your life I promised you that I wouldn't let you go through this again and I ain't letting up on that. I'll be home soon bab-"
"No! You've been saying you'll be home soon! It's been three fucking months ! You know what, I will give the phone to Dakota you can talk to her" she walked over to Dakota handing her the phone , she put the phone on speaker and locked it so that she wouldn't hang up hearing Saint sigh
The frustration in Kalani voice was loud and clear, Saint couldn't help but feel even more guilty than before, Kalani didn't want to act out in front of Dakota. Even though she was little she still never wanted to fight with Saint infront of her.
"Wassup fats" Dakota smiled from ear to ear hearing her father voice
"Dada! Dadadadada" she spoke as she picked up the phone trying to kiss it making Kalani laugh
"I miss you fats, I miss yo mama too" he spoke and Dakota listened to him
"Dada juice!" Dakota spoke making Saint laugh, Dakota understood words and could say a few
"Yeah I'll tell mama to give you some juice. I miss you tho do you miss me?" He asked her
"Musss tu!" Dakota said making Kalani poke her bottom lip out, she hated this for Dakota
"Aw damn man you gon make me cry" Saint said feeling emotional
"Ddddaaamn?" Dakota said as Kalani sucked her teeth
"Saint!" Kalani yelled and he laughed , it was nice to hear his laugh Kalani thought to herself
"I gotta go though mama something's happening. I love you and I'll call you later Ight?"'he spoke up and Kalani sighed she hated ended the phone call
"Ok Saint I love you too, Kota say love you" Kalani bent down holding the phone
"Muah!" Dakota kissed the phone and Saint heard her, he chuckled saying goodbye and hung up, Kalani sighed she was tired of this the constant phone calls that had to end early.
"Wanna get some ice cream?" She asked as Dakota kept tapping the phone wanting to hear Saint voice again,once she heard ice cream her face lit up. Kalani picked her up and took her down the steps sitting her on the counter opening the freezer grabbing the Oreo ice cream
"Can you say ice cream?"
"Iiii meme!" She said making Kalani smile
"You so smart koko" she smiled grabbing a bowl and scooped the ice cream , Dakota shook her head no and dipped her hand in the container
"Dakota!" Kalani gasped grabbing her hand , Dakota placed her in in her mouth she couldn't even be mad as she watched her daughter lick the ice
"You are crazy girl"
Von, lo & trigger stood outside infront of their cars, for the past month they've been working behind Kalani back to get Saint out, they didn't even let her know about his court date. Saint lawyer had enough evidence to prove Trina was lying and on top of Sierra confessing it got him out quickly he made them all swear not to tell Kalani a thing he wanted to surprise her
"Wassup fuck nigga!" Trigger said dapping Saint up they all had smiles on they face as Saint walked out the building
"Niggaa go to jail for three months come out buff as shit" Von said making them all laugh, Saint definitely look bigger. His hair was in a messed up bun as he wore the same clothes he went in with
"Fuck yall, thank you for coming to get me man" he appreciated his friends for coming through for him
"Aw don't get sappy in this bitch, you would do the same for us. Now come on yo ass need a hair cut you can't see ya wife looking like this" Lo said as saint opened the car door getting in, it felt good to be free all he could think about is Kalani
"Where she at?" Saint asked them
"She's with Dejah I told her to tell Kalani that they were going out for her birthday again to stall her , Dakota with ya mom at your place" Saint smiled he couldn't wait to see his girls, he missed them more than ever
"Yo ass needs a fucking hair cut and a shower" trigger said and saint sucked his teeth
"Fuck you bitch"
"You are so cute pregnant! I was not cute at all I'm jealous!" Kalani said as Dejah walked into the restaurant in front of her , Dejah wore a blue dress that showed off her belly bump perfectly
"Thank you ! " she smiled from ear to ear as they sat down seeing India and Mariah
"Hi sweet pea!" Mariah said to Kalani who rolled her eyes
"I am not your man cut the name calling out" Kalani shook her head making Mariah stick her tongue out at her, Kalani been going out a little bit since Saint told her to live her life he didn't want her to be in the house sad but regardless of where she went she missed her man badly
"Girl whatever! In my mind you was mine first " Mariah held her hand up , Kalani grabbed her drink taking a sip
"So you ready to be a mommy ?" India asked Dejah as she touched her stomach, Dejah was having a baby boy and was so excited
"Yes' I'm so excited to have a boy cause I'm sorry lani I don't wanna share my man" Dejah joked and Kalani sucked her teeth
"Girl! She swear Saint is her and I can't touch him , like whenever I kiss him in front of her it's a problem " she checked her phone again wondering when Saint was going to call, he usually calls her around this time and she hasn't heard anything
"Has Von heard from Saint today?"Kalani asked Dejah who shook her head no, dejah lied straight through her teeth. She was doing a good thing at least she hoped she was
"No I don't think so, I'll text him and ask him" Dejah said and Kalani nodded sitting back , she zoned out of the conversation as they sat the dinner table. Kalani smiled and nodded through out the whole time of course the girls noticed but they acted like they didn't.
"Thank you for taking me to brunch guys!" Dejah said smiling from ear to ear , Dejah pulled out her phone shooting von and Saint mom a text which made Saint mom call Kalani
"Hold on guys.. hi ma you ok?" Kalani asked holding the phone to her ear
"Yes honey I'm fine, just letting you know me and Dakota are on our way to you and Saint place " she said and Kalani jerked her head back
"Um why?" She asked her
"Because I left a few things there and Dakota hasn't been there in a while so I'm just taking her by. Meet me there please thank you bye love you" she hung up the phone leaving Kalani confused
"Alright Dejah can you take me to Saint penthouse ?" Kalani asked and Dejah nodded
"Yeah that's fine, bye guys" Dejah winked as she rubbed her stomach
"You sure you don't want me to drive ?" Kalani asked as Dejah threw her purse in the car and slowly sat in the car, Kalani shook her head watching her
"Girl I got this! I'm pregnant not dead!" Kalani got in the car shutting the door grabbing Dejah purse off the floor sitting it in her lap. She checked her phone again seeing if she missed a jail call from Saint
"I'm scared that Saint won't get out of jail any time soon" Kalani whispered but Dejah heard her
"He will I promise, it's a minor set back for a major come back" Dejah said giving Kalani hope, Kalani stared out the window as they drove to Saint place. Once they got there Kalani stomach turned she hasn't been back in a while.
"You want me to come up with you?" Dejah asked and Kalani nodded she wasn't sure how she would react to being back here , Dejah was hoping that she said yes so that she could see the moment. Kalani made her way into the building going up the elevator feeling sick to her stomach "It's gonna be ok.. just wait" Dejah said touching Kalani arm , Kalani blew a breath as the elevator opened.
She opened the door stopping in her tracks seeing a figure standing there , she gasped dropping all her stuff running towards him jumping on top of him crying her eyes out.
"I know baby I know" Saint said rubbing her back as she held him tightly as she sobbed in his neck. Dejah started to cry herself seeing the moment. Kalani didn't even see the decorations all she cared about was Saint being there
"I'm sorry mama " he sat her down on her feet looking at her face, face covered in tears she didn't even care she didn't wanna let him go
"W-why didn't nobody tell me... how the fuck did you get out" she punched his chest and he laughed rubbing the spot she hit
"I wanted it to be a surprise, stop crying baby" he laughed wiping her face, she grabbing his face kissing his lips repeatedly she missed him more than life
"I'm so mad at you but I can't be right now because I missed you " she wrapped her arms around his neck again holding him, he bent down grabbing her thigh wrapping her legs around his waist
"It's finna get freaky in this bitch I'm out come on baby" von said looking at them in disgust, Dejah laughed wiping her tears she was so happy for Kalani
"Bye Saint! Bye lani! Make my baby a cousin!" Dejah yelled as they both walked out the door, Saint shook his head at them
"I missed you more" he walked over to the couch sitting down with her on his lap, she hasn't let him go yet and she doesn't plan to
"Why didn't I know about a court date or anything ?" She asked rubbing his cheek with her thumb
"Why you ain't tell me you met with Sierra? Or tracked Trina mother down?" He rubbed her back and she looked down shrugging
"I told you I had this, I appreciate the fuck outta you for helping a nigga out. I love how much you love me no matter what i put you through " he rubbed her back and moved his hands down to her ass
"You would do anything for me shit you do anything for me so I have to do the same. Where's our baby?" Kalani asked noticing Dakota wasn't here
"My mom is on her way, she knew about all this too" he said and Kalani sucked her teeth sitting back crossing her arms
"Everyone knew?? Expect me and Dakota ? Is that why you wouldn't let me come see you ?" He smiled watching her pout
"Yeah baby I had to make this shit work, you did make the process a lot faster with Sierra. Thank you mama" she smiled about to lean in again it heard slight knocks at the door
"Damn she know how to knock now?" He joked and Kalani stood up giggling , Dakota did not know how to knock she would bang on the door or swing it open
"Let me open it " Kalani said and Saint nodded taking a step back , Kalani swung the door open and Dakota looked at her mom than at Saint. She gasped and screamed
"DADA!" Her little feet ran as fast as they could as she dropped her cup on the floor, Saint picked her up kissing all over her face. Kalani teared up watching the moment between the two, Saint was tearing up himself as he held Dakota
"This is so sweet! " Lisa said wiping her eyes, she walked over to Saint rubbing his back , Dakota sat her head up showing her few teeth in her mouth. He laughed wiping his tears
"Wassup fats" she grabbed his face squeezing his cheeks which made Kalani laugh
" she's so happy" Kalani whispered holding her chest while Saint throw Dakota in the air and catch her. Hearing her giggles made Kalani heart swell
"How about I cook? I brought some food!" Lisa said walking into the kitchen saint didn't pay his mom any mind his attention was on Dakota who was touching his nose
"Nose" Saint said and Dakota smile
"Nooooooeee!" She said making said laugh, she was such a smart baby , Kalani just stood off letting him spend time with Dakota even though she just wanting to lay with him Dakota came first no matter what. After a few hours of talking to Saint mom and him and Dakota spending a lot of time together lisa decided to leave so they could spend alone time together, Kalani cleaned the counter while Saint was upstairs with Dakota putting her to bed
He managed to tire her out she was damn near knocked out by the time he made it to her bedroom
" good night fats I love you so much" he kissed her cheek and laid her in her crib, she fell right asleep and he watched her a few minutes before going into his bedroom seeing Kalani taking off her jewelry, he leaned on the door taking in her body. The blue dress she wore hugged her body , Saint missed everything about her from her lips to her toes.
"Oh shit you scared me!" She held her chest seeing Saint standing in the doorway , he walked to her looking down at her eyes
"If I told you I didn't wanna have sex I just wanted to lay with you would that be ok with you?" She said looking at him
"Hell yeah" he said with no hesitation, she wrapped her arms around his back laying her head on his chest. She could feel herself tearing up again , he heard her sniffing and looked down
" I'm sorry! I don't know why I'm crying. I just missed you so much" he felt the wet tears on his chest, he grabbed her face looking at her
"I hate it when you cry come on mama" he groan picked her up sitting her on the bed
"I can't help it. This has been so hard and it's only been 3 months. I can't go through this again Saint I don't want too, please no more ok no more getting your hands dirty no more being in the business please for me?" He looked into her pleading eyes nodding his head , he'd do anything for Kalani washing his hands with this was nothing to him
"I promise I'm done, I just wanna be happy with you you deserve to be happy. I gotta give you that shit" he grabbed her hand intertwining his hands with hers.
"Thank you for coming back to me" she said as they stared in each others eyes
"I said that same shit to you a few months ago" he chuckled as he pulled him on the bed crawling on top of him remembering the exact moment
"Well I'm glad we found our way back to each other" she whispered laying on top of him, she just stared at his face
"we always will" he spoke with confidence, she lifted her pinky up holding it out and Saint lifted his locking it with hers
"You so corny for meeeee !" She blushed as he kissed her hand
"I'd burn the world down for you, you know dat shit."
