After dealing with the Diglett, Ash and his friends countinued to find the Fuchsia Gym. But finding the gym was not easy.
"Man I did not think that the Fuchsia gym would be so hard to find." Ash said
"Yeah." Misty said
"Just why would someone build a gym all the way out? " Glissle questioned
"Why do not we take a break?" Brock said and spotted a small river, "And look there is a small river there. We could rest there."

The gang all had their pokemon out. The gang had spent a week in the forest, Ash was training with his pokemon. At the moment Brock was brushing Vulpix's fur with a brush.
"Hey Ash, have you decided which pokemon to use?" Misty asked
"Fuchsia Gym uses poison types, so I have figured to use charizard, Lucario and pikachu." Ash said
"I like the idea." Brock said
Ash glanced over at Lucario who was looking at the trees and said,"Lucario what is wrong?"
"(I am sensing that a pokemon is watching us.)" Lucario said
"A pokemon why?" Ash said
"(Don't know. But I will keep an eye on it.)" Lucario said
"Okay." Ash said

After their break they started preparing to countinue search for the gym.
"Let's head off." Ash said returning all his pokemon except Pikachu and Lucario.
"Wait a minute let's wait for psyduck. " Brock said and looked over to Psyduck who was drinking water from the river.
"Psyduck cold water can make headache even worse." Brock said and Ash looked over to see Psyduck who was standing near them. It looked at them in blank stare and held its head.
Brock sighed and said ,"Sometimes I get a headache when I just look at psyduck."
"Come on guys we better get going." Ash said as all of them heads towards the gym.

"According to my map the Fuchsia City Gym is right here." Ash said pointing towards a mansion.
"That is odd. Why is there an Old mansion in the middle of nowhere?" Misty asked
"I do not know. These place seems kind of spooky. Are sure that this is the Fuchsia Gym?" Brock said
"Well that is what the map says. " Ash and putting his map away.
"Anyways let's be careful once we go in there is no telling what is in there." Ash said
"That's true." Glissle said
The gang decided to enter the building that seems to be the Fuchsia Gym.

The gang was walking down a corridor. The weird thing about it was that no one was around.
"Why does it seem like no one lives here?" Misty asked and leaned against a wall when she fell through a wall.
"Misty." Ash and the others exclaimed when they noticed one person from their group was missing.
Brock banged on the wall and said,"it's a secret door."
"Secret door?" Ash asked.
"Yeah. When you push the wall it moves forward like a door." Brock said
They found Misty on the other side of the wall.
"What kind of place is this?" Misty asked
"Wel it is definitely not normal, considering thet there is a secret door." Ash said
Everyone looked to see a purple pokemon with red eyes.
Ash said,"A venonat."
He took out his pokedesk and scanned it.
[Venonat, the insect pokemon. It is attracted by light at night.]

What is a venonat doing here?" Brock asked
Ash walked up to venonat and knelt down in front of it, "Excuse me we are looking for the Fuchsia Gym leader. I am hoping to have a gym battle with him. Do you know where it is?"
Venonat noded and started to fly towards something.
Ash stood up and followed the Venonat with the others.

Ash knew that the Venonat was probably guiding them around the traps that were set up and led them to a safer direction. Thay arrived at what looked like a dojo.
Ash looked around and said,"This is impressive."
"Yeah." Everyone agreed
"But is anyone actually here?" Yellow said
"It would seem my Venonat decided to lead you the safe way here." A femal voice spoke suddenly making them look at her.
Ash knew this girl she was the sister of the gym leader Aya.
"My name is Ash ketchumand this is pikachu." Ash said
Pikachu greeted her.
"My name is Misty." Misty introduced
"My name is Brock." Brock introduced
"My name is Glissle. " Glissle greeted
"My name is Yellow." Yellow introduced
"I see. So why are you here?" Aya said
"Well I am hoping to battle koga the Fuchsia Gym leader for gym badge." Ash said
"Then so shall young lady." A voice said
The gang looked around but did not see anyone suddenly a man and a girl came and the man said,"Welcome."
The man had spiky black hair and eyes and wore a blue ninja uniform with a long red scarf wrapped around his neck.
Brock said,"You must be koga and she is?"
Koga nodded,"Indeed I am and she is my other sister Jaine."Then he turned to Ash,"I sense a real fighting spirit in you if you defat me you will earn soul badge."
Ash smiled and said,"Thank you."

They were at the battle arena while The others were sitting in sideline.
Jaine was also watching it.
Aya acted as refree,"This will be a three -on -three battle between Gym leader Koga and challanger Ash ketchum. Are both sides ready?"
Both nodded
"Battle begin."
"Go venonat." Koga said
"Venonat." Venonat said appearing in the field.
"Okay, " Ash took out his pokeball, "Go Lucario." Lucario appeared in the field.
"Lucario Aura sphere." Ash said
"Dodge Venonat." Venonat dodged the attack.
"Venonat use stun spore." Koga said
"Lucario dodge the attack and use Bone rush." Ash said
Lucario dodged the attack and used Bone rush on venomat which made it cry out in pain.
"Use psybeam." Koga said
Venonat realsed a multi-colured beam from its eyes.
"Protect and use Aura sphere." Ash said
Lucario protected itshelf and used its attack towards Venomat, which made it passed out.
"Venonat is unable to battle. The victory goes to Lucario." Aya said
"Good Job." Ash said
Koga returned his venonat,"You have done great. Get some rest."
Ash returned his Lucario and realsed pikachu.
"Pikachu." Pikachu said
"Venonat." Koga realsed his second pokemon.
Suddenly Venonat started to glow. It grew from a puff ball to a giant moth.
Ash looked at the pokdesk.
[Venomoth, the poison moth pokemon. The evolved from of Venonat. It flutters its wings to scatter dust like scales.]

Oh great." Ash said
"Venomoth use stun spore." Koga said
Venomoth used poison powder towards Pikachu.
"Pikachu dodge." Ash said
Pikachu dodged the attack.
"Now use Thunderbolt." Koga said
Pikachu launched the attack at Venomoth which hit it hard, making it fall onto the floor.
"Venomoth, Are you alright?" Koga asked
Venomotj shool its head and flapped its wings getting back in the air.
"Venomoth use poison powder." Koga said
"Dodge and use Electro ball." Ash said
Pikachu used it making venomoth fall on the floor.
Boom.
Suddenly half of the celling collapsed luckily not above them only in front of them.
"What is that? " Ash asked when he saw a curtain infront of them.
When the screen slid to the side, two umbrellas were opned infront of the person.
"Welcome to the show." Two familiar voice said
"Team Rocket." Ash said
They said"Prepare for trouble!
And make it double!
To protect the world from devastation!
To unite all peoples within our nation!
To denounce the evils of truth and love!
To extend our reach to the stars above!
Jessie!
James!
Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light!
Surrender now, or prepare to fight!"
"Pikachu Thunder bolt." Ash said
Pikachu launched his attack and Team Rocket was sent flying through the roof into the sky.
"The twerps don't let us do anything." Jessie said
"Too bad. I was so excited to do our performance." James said
The trio sighed.
"Team Rockte blasting off Again." Team Rocket said
The gang sighed in relief when they could no longer see Team Rocket.
"Are you sure that was Team Rocket?" Koga asked
"Yes it was. That trio have been after our pokemon since we first met them." Ash said
"I have heard they are very ruthless." Aya said
"Yeah." Jaine said
"Well we have not met that kind yet." Ash said
"But we have not finished our match Koga." Ash said
"Indeed." Koga said

Everyone was outside for the battle.
"Go pikachu." Ash said
Pikachu got infront of Ash ready to fight.
Koga held a pokeball,"Go Golblat."
Golbat appeared infront of them.
Ash scanned it through his pokedesk.
[Golbat, the Bat pokemon. The evolved from of Zubat.]

"Be careful with this one, Pikachu." Ash said
"Golbat wing attack." Koga said
Golbat wings glowed and drove down, ready to strike pikachu with its wings.
"Use Double Team." Ash said
Pikachu created copies of himshelf which made Golbat miss his attack.
"Now use Thundershock." Ash said
Pikachu launced the attack at Golbat which effected it but it was still flying.
"Golbat use screech attack." Koga said
Golbat used the attack at pikachu but pikachu dodged it.
"Pikachu thunder." Ash said
Tehe attack hit Golbat which caused a lot of damage it.
"Okay finish it off with Electro web." Ash said
The attack hit Golbat making it faint.
"Golbat." Koga called
"Golbat is unable to battle, pikachu wins." Aya said
Koga returned into its pokeball and walked closer with a smile,"You have beaten me Ash. And you have done it also. This soul badge belongs to you now."
"Thank you." Ash said looking into his new badge.
"We three have learnt a lot about battle. We will now train even harder." Koga said
"Yes brother." Aya and Jaine said
As they were going back Jaine and Aya said to Ash that they have fallen in love for him and Ash explained him about his love life but they have no problem with it and Ash got two new girlfriends and kissed them infront of Koga but he has no problem with it and just smiled.

After that they all said goodbye to each other. They stopped by the pokemon center to get Ash's pokemon checked up. Once they are healed they decided to head towards their next stop which was safari Zone.
