"Please stay down. You have a high fever; you should not move much," I whispered to Jungkook, my voice laced with worry. I sat beside him, my hand gently resting on his forehead, feeling the heat radiating from his fevered skin.

It had been ten agonizing days since I had started putting poison in Jungkook's food. Each day was a torment, a relentless struggle between my loyalty to my family and the growing bond I shared with Jungkook. Twice, I had tried to stop, to defy the high priest's cruel orders, but both times, I had been met with unbearable pain—pain that coursed through my body like a searing fire, pain that left me gasping for breath.

Yesterday, Jungkook's condition had taken a dire turn. His fever had spiked, and he was burning up, his body wracked with chills. I had done my best to tend to him, keeping him hydrated and making him comfortable, but his condition seemed to worsen with each passing hour.

My heart ached as I looked at him, his face flushed with fever, his breathing labored. I knew deep down that his illness was a result of the poison I had been feeding him, and the guilt gnawed at my conscience.

"Jungkook, please, you have to get better," I murmured, my voice quivering. "I can't bear to see you like this."

I knew I couldn't tell anyone about the poison, not when the high priest held my sister's life as leverage. But watching Jungkook suffer because of my actions was tearing me apart.

As I continued to care for him, my thoughts swirled with desperation and fear. I couldn't lose Jungkook, not like this. I had to find a way to save him, to break free from the high priest's grip, and to protect my sister from his cruelty.

But for now, all I could do was pray that Jungkook's fever would break, and he would start to recover.

The room felt stifling as I continued to sit beside Jungkook, his fevered body trembling under the weight of his illness. Beads of sweat glistened on his forehead, and his eyes were glazed with feverish delirium. I couldn't help but blame myself for his suffering, for the poison that had brought him to this state.

"Jungkook," I whispered, my voice choked with emotion. "Please, you have to fight this. You can't give up on me now."

He groaned softly, his eyes fluttering open. His gaze was unfocused, and he seemed to be lost in a fever-induced haze. "Taehyung?" he mumbled weakly, his voice barely audible.

I reached out to gently wipe the sweat from his brow with a damp cloth. "Yes, it's me," I replied, my heart aching at the sight of his suffering. "You're going to be okay, Jungkook. I promise."

He let out a shuddering breath, his hand trembling as he reached for mine. "I don't... understand," he mumbled, his words slurred. "Why... Taehyung? Why did you... poison me?"

My heart sank at his words, and I struggled to hold back tears. I had feared this moment, the moment when Jungkook would realize what I had done to him. I couldn't bring myself to look into his eyes, to see the betrayal and hurt that would surely be reflected in them.

"I... I had no choice," I stammered, my voice barely above a whisper. "The high priest... he threatened my sister's life. He forced me to do it."

Jungkook's grip on my hand tightened, and he winced in pain. "Your sister," he said, his voice filled with sympathy despite his own suffering. "I'm so sorry, Taehyung. I didn't know."

I shook my head, my vision blurred by tears. "It doesn't matter," I replied, my voice breaking. "I never wanted to hurt you, Jungkook. I never wanted any of this."

He closed his eyes, his breathing labored. "I know," he whispered, his words barely audible. "I... I can't blame you, Taehyung. I just wish..."

His words trailed off, and I knew he couldn't finish the sentence. We were both trapped in a nightmare, prisoners of our circumstances. I could only hope that somehow, someday, we would find a way out of this darkness together.

The room remained dimly lit, and Jungkook's fever showed no signs of relenting. I continued to sit by his side, gently tending to him and trying to ease his suffering.

"Jungkook," I said softly, my voice trembling with emotion. "You have to hold on. I can't lose you."

His eyes fluttered open again, though they remained clouded with fever. "Taehyung," he whispered, his voice weak. "I don't want to die."

Tears welled up in my eyes, and I shook my head. "You won't," I vowed, my voice filled with determination. "I won't let you."

He offered me a faint smile, and it was both heartwarming and heartbreaking to see. "You're a good person, Taehyung," he said, his words slurred. "Even if you did... what you did."

I swallowed hard, guilt weighing me down like an anchor. "I promise, Jungkook," I whispered, my voice shaking. "I'll find a way to make this right. I'll save you, no matter what."

Jungkook's grip on my hand tightened, and he closed his eyes as if trying to find some respite from the pain. "Thank you," he murmured, his voice fading.

I continued to sit there, my heart heavy with the weight of my actions. I had betrayed Jungkook, poisoned him, and yet he found it in himself to offer me forgiveness. It was a kindness I didn't deserve, but it gave me the strength to fight for both our lives.

As I watched over him through the long, agonizing night, I made a silent vow to myself. I would find a way to break free from the high priest's grasp, to save my sister, and to heal the wounds I had inflicted on Jungkook. It was a daunting task, but I couldn't bear to lose the person who had brought light into my dark world.

The room was silent except for the faint, rhythmic sound of Jungkook's labored breathing. I watched over him, my heart heavy with guilt and worry. The wet cloth in my hand was now lukewarm, and I gently placed it back on his forehead, hoping to alleviate some of his fever.

But as I did, an excruciating pain suddenly coursed through my entire body, like a thousand needles pricking at my bones. I gasped, dropping the cloth in shock and agony. It felt as though someone had a vice grip on my very soul, twisting it mercilessly.

A chilling voice, like ice cutting through my thoughts, echoed in my mind. "Remember your place, peasant," it hissed. "You belong to me. Do not forget your duty."

I clenched my teeth, tears streaming down my face from both the pain and the realization that I was being watched, controlled. "I won't forget," I choked out, the words a painful admission of my powerlessness.

The pain lessened, though it still lingered, a constant reminder of the consequences of defiance. As I continued to tend to Jungkook, I couldn't help but glance at the high priest's message etched onto my skin, a cruel and haunting reminder.

Jungkook remained unconscious, his face peaceful in slumber, unaware of the torment I was enduring. I whispered an apology to the high priest, my voice trembling. "I'm sorry," I murmured, my gaze shifting between the suffering prince and the sinister forces that controlled my actions.

It was a nightmarish existence, one where I was torn between my loyalty to Jungkook and the threats that bound me to the high priest's will. As I watched over the prince, my heart ached with the knowledge that I was trapped in a web of deceit and manipulation, and there seemed to be no way out.

As fell asleep and i decided to make something for him till he wakes up. However i felt relief that even if the priest punished me, i has already told everything to Jungkook, i felt relieved that i  have no secret left between me and Jungkook.

The morning sun painted the kitchen with a soft golden hue as I prepared a meal for Jungkook. My hands moved mechanically, but my mind was filled with turmoil. I couldn't stop thinking about the poison I had been putting in his food, and the heavy weight of guilt pressed down on me.

I has brainstormed the whole night and finally came to a decision that the only way i can save myself is if i do not stop putting poison so now i will put the poison but i will eat that food myself. It will save Jungkook and me as well. Jungkook will live and my family will have a bright life a haead,

As I stirred a pot of soup, I heard footsteps behind me. My heart skipped a beat, and I turned to find Jungkook standing there. His eyes were weary, and his steps were unsteady. He looked at me with confusion and vulnerability.

"Taehyung," he murmured, his voice weak and trembling. "I can't... I can't remember anything from yesterday, i-i... what-what happened... everything is blur."

My heart sank as I realized the implications of his words. He didn't remember our conversation from the previous night, the confession I had made, or the reason behind my actions. Panic welled up inside me, and I struggled to find the right words.

"You were sick, Jungkook," I replied softly, trying to keep my voice steady and to kickstart his memory. "You still are. But I promise, I'll take care of you."

Jungkook's brows furrowed as he tried to recall, but the memories remained elusive. "I don't understand. What's happening?"

Tears threatened to spill from my eyes as I looked at him, knowing that I couldn't tell him the truth now, not when he had forgotten everything. "It's going to be okay, Jungkook. Let's focus on getting you better."

I helped him to a chair and served him a bowl of soup, my heart heavy with the knowledge that I was still poisoning him, even though I had decided to eat the tainted food myself. The room felt suffocating, and I prayed silently that Jungkook's memory would return, that he would understand the sacrifices I had made for him, and that we could find a way out of this nightmare together.
