Y/N POV
ugh...
This night was rough. I had to explain to Toshi what Shigaraki was doing. Then I had to head to the police station. Oh how I hate that place. It's night time but I have patrol.
Yay...
I headed back to the apartment to see Peter before I left. I unlock the door and ask FRIDAY where Peter is.
"Mr Parker is currently upstairs. He is waiting in your room"
"Thanks FRIDAY"
"My pleasure Ms L/n"
I walk upstairs to see Peter on my bed. He looking out the window with an amazing view of Musutafu.
"Hey Y/n..." he mumbles
"What's wrong Pete?" I slowly walk towards him and sit down.
"I don't know. I have just been worried about you..." he admits
"Why are you worried about me?"
"You are on this mission and constantly facing villains of patrol. I'm just worried you might get hurt..."
"Peter. I'm the same age as you. This is my job. I worry about you whenever I hear about your fights. But I always remind myself that you are capable of fighting them without getting hurt. And heroes get hurt all the time. It's normal but I don't want you to be worried about me when you should be worrying about yourself."
"Thanks Y/n" he smiles
I give him a small smile back.
"I have to change. I have patrol"
"Okay"
I grab my suit and head into the bathroom.
I change quickly and head back out.
"Bye Peter! Love you!" I call
"Love you too! Stay safe!" He calls back
"I will!" I say hopping out the window
TIME SKIP
I have been out here for 2 hours. It's a pain. They changed my schedule so now I patrol from 10:00 pm to 2:00 am. At least it's not 6 hours.
I'm getting tired so I land on a rooftop to sit down. I dangle my legs over the edge and pull out my phone to check my messages.
Thankfully no one has sent me anything.
I feel the presence of someone and I immediately know who it is.
"What's up bird brain?" I ask
"Nothing much. How's patrol?" He asks sitting down with me
"Boring as usual" I say resting my head on his shoulder
"Tired?"
"No you're just comfortable"
"Thank you" he chuckles
"What happened at the mall today?" He asks
"Stupid Shigaraki." I tell him
"That guy gives me the creeps" he shivered
We just sit in comfortable silence for a while. I feel his head rest on top of mine.
I reach a hand behind him and massage his golden locks.
We both watch the lights of late night Musutafu. It's strangely calming.
We both sit in silence until my patrol is over. I'm pretty sure Keigo fell asleep. I shake him awake. And he wakes up slowly.
"Keigo... you fell asleep..." I rub his head
"I like sleep..." he says rubbing his eyes
"We both have to get home"
"Alright baby bird. I will see ya soon" he says kissing my cheek
"Yeah. By Keigo."
I patrol a bit more and surprisingly it's the end of my shift. I decide to head back home. I jump through the window and into my room. Then I see one of the best things ever.
Peter is curled up in my bed snuggling into the pillows.
I quickly take a picture and kick off my boots, get dressed and flop into bed.
I close my eyes with a sigh and turn to face Pete's back.
I let sleep overcome me and fall into the darkness.
TIME SKIP
I awoke at 11 am so I decided to let Peter sleep a little longer. I headed to my closet and got dressed into my training clothes.
I put in my headphones and pressed play on my music. I left a sticky note on my mirror telling Peter where I was and I headed out the door.
I stepped out of the apartment complex and into the cool air of the early morning.
I started to jog and left my mind to drift off.
After a couple blocks I ran into someone.
"Oh hey Y/n! Just the girl we were looking for!" Kaminari says
I notice Mineta next to him and I back away a little.
"We were wondering if you wanted to come to the pool with us. Most of the class is going. We were just thinking of getting extra training before training camp ya know?" He explains
Little did they know the girls already asked me to go after final exams. I know they are probably trying to use me as cover to use the pool. Makes sense they figured out the girls reserved it. This will be entertaining.
"Sure I'll come" I say
"Awesome!" They shout
"What time?" I ask trying to sound clueless
"I don't know maybe a little later"
"Okay. I gotta head back then." I barely ran... this was a waste of time. I internally groan
"Bye Y/n!"
I started jogging back and walked back into the complex.
I headed to my apartment and saw that Peter was awake.
"Hey Pete I'm going to UA for some training with my class in an hour or so"
"Okay cool. How long will you be gone?"
"I don't really know. Maybe an hour or two"
"I'm going to be so bored while your gone!"
I ignore his whines and start putting on my swimsuit
I wore jean shorts and a hoodie over it. I grab my skateboard and headed out
"Bye Pete I'm leaving!"
"Have a good time Y/n!"
I hopped on my board and started riding to UA.
Once I got there I met up with the class.
"Hey Y/n! You made it!" Tsu looks at me
"Hey guys" i say
"Glad you could make it" Momo greets me
"Do you have your swimsuit?" Jiro asks
I lift up my hoodie.
They nod and we start walking to the pool. I clutch my skateboard at my side and try not to be nervous.
I hate when people stare at me.
One we got to the pool I saw Shoto and I went up to him.
"Hey Shoto"
"Hey. I haven't seen you in a while"
"Yeah..." I said rubbing the back of my neck
Then I see mineta and kaminari bolt out to the pool
"WHAT!?" They shout
"Y/N!?" They shout and look at me
I tell them about how I asked Izuku to message the whole class about so called training. At the end of the explanation I flip them off.
Shoto grabs my hand to make my finger go down. I just glare at him. He drags me to one of the chairs and takes my skateboard. He puts it down by his chair and I start to take off my hoodie and shorts.
He then stops me. He makes me face the wall. I'm guessing he doesn't want Mineta and Kaminari looking at me.
"Thanks Shoto" I rest my head on his shoulder as he stands there.
"Of course" he says with a small smile
The rest of the class is already in the pool playing games.
I walk towards the girls side of the pool but I feel Shoto behind me. I know what he is going to do so I let it happen. He pushes me into the pool but I drag him down with me.
He pops back to the surface while I stay underwater. I wanted to fool with the class a bit. Thanks to HYDRA I can hold my breath for a very long time. I see Tsu come towards me underwater and I just hold a finger to my lips. She nods and swims away.
I start to hear commotion from the surface and I decide to mess with people. I swim to the boys side and pull Izuku under. He yelps but then he sees me. I grab him and we surface together.
I smirk at him and he just looks scared.
"Y/n that was very inappropriate! We thought you were drowning! Please refrain from doing that-" Iida does his chopping movements and I tune him out
"Sorry Izuku. I thought it was funny" I apologized to him
"I-it's fine Y/n I just was surprised that's all!" He reassured me
"Alright"
Then I feel someone grab me from my waist.
"Ah!- Shoto! Put me down!" I scold him
He just smirks
He put me on his back so now I look like a child. I lean into his ear
"You realize I can roast you in a fire battle" I whisper with a smirk
"We'll see about that" he says
I firmly place my hands on his shoulder. I hoist myself up and over Shoto. I basically did a handstand on top of him and flipped out of it.
I then splashed him with water and he splashed me back. I swam towards him and jumped on him so we fall underneath the water.
We both kicked each other until we re surfaced.
I hear Sato being worried about us
"Hey are you guys-"
"Y/n get back to your designated side of the pool!" Iida shouts
I roll my eyes and Shoto snickers at me.
After a while of swimming Iida insisted on taking a break.
Izuku looked worn out so I grabbed two drinks and headed over to him.
"Hey Izuku? You okay?" I ask
"Oh- yeah! I'm fine"
I hand him a drink and he thanks me
We both sit down and he starts to mumble about the year.
"I'm only here because so many people have helped me get here. And that's why I will work ever harder from now on!" He cheers and stands up
I stand up with him and put a hand on his shoulder agreeing with him.
"You'd better!" We hear the voice of the Pomeranian coming
"The next time I beat you, I want you to be at your strongest you damn nerd." He stomps towards us
Izuku yelps and I stand in front of him just as Kirishima blocks the blonde
"Hey, we got your message. Sorry we're late. Took a while to convince Bakugo to come out." Kirishima waves while blocking Bakugo
Izuku sighs from behind me and I just glare at the ash blonde. I turn around and place my hand on izuku's shoulder again.
"Are you better now?" I ask
"Y-yeah, thanks Y/n" he smiles
"No problem" I turn around and walk past the angry teen and towards Shoto
"So Deku. You wanna settle who's the best between us right now? Huh?" He asks setting off mini explosions
Izuku sweat drops and puts his hands up
"No. That's not it"
"Actually you know what? We could make this training a contest" Iida says
Iida rounds up the boys
"I'm going to annihilate you deku" Bakugo smirks
Then Bakugo looks over at me and Shoto on the ground
"And you too Icy Hot bastard!" He yells. his eyes linger on me for a bit before turning back
The first round was Mineta, Tokoyami, Koda, Bakugo, and Kaminari.
Bakugo used his quirk to blast him over the water.
He has no shame...
Sero and Kirishima started yelling at him.
Jeez. "Free style swimming" my ass
Next was Aoyama, Sero, Kirishima, Sato, and shoto.
Shoto won by gliding with his ice on the water. Next is Iida, Izuku, Ojiro, Shoji, and me. Yes they let me compete. I'm good at swimming. This time our group actually hit the water well technically not Iida. I used my super soldier strength to boost me but I didn't go full on.
Me and Izuku tied right before Iida. The students start cheering for us
"Nice one guys!"
"Go Y/n!"
"You beat me, good work" Iida completed us
I help Iida out of the water.
"You were amazing out there too Iida!" Izuku cheered
I look back to see Shoto mumble something then stare at his hand.
Me, Shoto, Izuku, and Iida all look at the eachother, likely reminiscing of all we have been through together.
Iida then starts the last round
"Midoriya, Bakugo, Todoroki, Y/n. As the winners of each round, you'll fight for first place. Understand?"
I nod and the others agree. Then Bakugo starts threatening Shoto and Izuku. We line up on the platforms and get ready to jump.
The girls cheer me on and the boys cheer on the other 3.
Shoto creates ice on his arm, Bakugo makes some explosions, deku starts readying OFA, and I wrap vines around my hands.
We all jump then our quirks get cancelled. We fall into the water.
I turn to face Aizawa.
"Its 5 pm. Your authorized pool time is officially over. Hurry up and go home" he says
The class starts complaining and I start to get out of the water. I help Shoto and Izuku out. I dry my hair with a towel and put on my shorts and hoodie again. I hug Shoto before I leave and grab my skateboard.
As I'm texting Peter heading down the main pathway to UA on my board, Kirishima flags me down. I look over to see him with blasty.
"Hey Y/n! Just wanted to let you know you did awesome!" He gives me a thumbs up
"Thanks" I say blankly
I turn to Bakugo. His eyes seem like they have something to tell me
"What?" I ask him
"Shut up you extra..." he harshly glares at me
"Y/n?" I her Kirishima ask
"Yeah?" I turn towards him
"How did you get the scar of the side of your face, I never noticed it? Are you okay?" He asks pointing at area it's in
My eyes widen. I realized what he is talking about. After Bakugo burned me it left a scar. I haven't told anyone. I cover it with my hair really quick.
"I-I... it's nothing! I'm just clumsy!" I fake laugh
He looks at me worried.
"Okay... I hope you're feeling better and be more careful" He says putting a hand on my shoulder
"Thank you, I will" I say
That was the worst excuse ever...
I mentally groan at myself
I get back on my skateboard and head home.
BAKUGO POV
that scar... its the same side of her face I hit with my quirk.
Oh shit...
I did that didn't I?
It's big...
I thought she fully healed without any scars and moved past it. But she actually has a scar.
Caused by me...
"Hey man you okay?"
I hear shitty hair call out to me
"I'm fine." I say
Why have I been such an asshole to her after everything is my fault.
We were getting along just fine until I had to screw up... again
She won't even call me Katsuki anymore...
She has gotten so close to the nerd and half n half. It's pissing me off.
I could apologize tomorrow during training camp. I hope she will accept it.
I wouldn't blame her if she didn't...
