I hugged my teammate as we jumped around the gymnasium happily. We won our first game and I'm feeling good.
"Dub" one of my teammates, Amina yelled out as my other teammate and I broke our hug
"Dub" the rest of the team repeated finishing the call and command
I looked around the gym for Angel, she's here for my first game. Normally after my games she'll come on the court with me and to the locker room.
I love having a supportive partner, she never misses a game unless she's working.
Once I saw her I became confused as to what was going on. She's going back and forth with one of the workers
While panicking inside, I quickly made my way over to them.
"What's wrong?" I asked while pulling Angel away from him
"He tryna kick me out, saying I don't have a wristband" she said before the man sighed loud, "I showed you my ticket online, an —"
"Where is your wristband?" the man cut her off while raising his voice before I raised a eyebrow, "If you don't have it, get out"
"Pause — watch how you coming" I said warning him, "She not going nowhere, she with me. Simple"
Every game that she comes to, she gets in for free. She's still given a ticket, but it's always online. She never needs a wristband.
On top of that, she with me so she getting through regardless of anything.
I pulled Angel before we started walking away.
"What I tell you, I said when it comes to altercations, you come to me. I don't want you being hostile with nobody, I don't like that"
"I'm sorry bae, but he was mouthy" she said as I pulled her closer and into a hug
"You probably was being mouthy first, I know my wife. I told you everybody ain't me, you can't get your way every time"
"He should've left me alone"
"See, it's that mouth" I said before planting a kiss on her lips, "I missed you, I love you mama"
"I love you too and you know I missed you"
We continued to talk before everybody made their way to the locker room. I gathered all of my stuff before heading out to the truck.
"Back to my room" I told my driver before we pulled off
Once we got back to my room, I showered and got dressed. I'm free for the rest of the day, so I'm gonna enjoy it with my baby.
"Should I wear it like this or the other way?" Angel asked me while watching her pose in the mirror
"It's cute like that, I think you should keep it like that" I said before she nodded and left from out the mirror
"You ready to go?" I asked getting a head nod in return before grabbing my phone
We left out the hotel and got in the truck before leaving. Since we're here in Florida we're gonna go to one of the outdoor outlets.
Once we got there, I noticed that it was more people than I expected. Then again, it is a shopping outlet, so it is what it is.
"She gone get out on my side, Moz" I told my driver as he held the door open for Angel
Nice gesture, but no.
He's trying to let her out on the side where cars moving rather than on the sidewalk. This is why I will always be who she's for.
Why would he try to put my wife's life at risk?
I got out the car now waiting for Angel to get out behind me. After grabbing her hand, I waited until she was completely out to close the door .
"Watch where you walking" I pointed at a step as we started walking, "Watc — stop"
I stopped her before receiving a confused look. She's obviously oblivious to what's going on, I don't know
"What's wrong?"
"You not listening mamas, I said watch where you walking" I pointed at the step again causing her to look down
"Oh, I was trying to look at this setup they have out here. It's so pretty, I wonder what they're doing" she started walking up the stairs while still barely being attentive
Their setup is nice, I'll give her that.
"It is nice over there, but where you wanna go first?"
"That ice cream place down there" she said causing me to nod and wonder how she see that far
Once we made it to the ice cream place, we got in line. Everybody is here, so we stood there for twenty minutes waiting.
Standing in line is definitely the reason I barely have patience as an adult. I hate waiting for shit, it's annoying.
We chose to sit outside at one of the tables they had out front.
"Give me some" I told Angel while grabbing her spoon and eating her ice cream
"I promise mines don't taste no different from yours. They're the same flavor" she said before I shrugged my shoulders
"To you"
"Whatever, but you played good today bae. Them back to back three's you was hitting, I love it"
"You seen me, and that's how you know this season finna be good" I stated while rubbing my hands together
"Yeah, we need them back to back wins"
"Oh they coming" I said while nodding, "But what you been doing since I been gone?"
"I been with the girls and in the house"
"Oh yeah, I seen y'all went out somewhere. Endyia posted something, you gone let them get you in trouble"
Her eyes widened a little before she laughed.
"What did you see?"
"It's something you don't want me to see?"
"Stop with the trick questions because I don't know how to answer them" she said before I chuckled at her
"It ain't no trick question, it's a regular question"
"Well you know I don't have nothing to hide" she said before I nodded my head
"Exactly, but I saw y'all was at the club, you was just standing there. You wasn't wilding or nothing"
I know when Angel go out without me, she show her bare ass. When I go out without her, I show my bare ass too.
Are we gonna tell on ourselves? No
We finished eating our ice cream before going to our first actual store. It's a store for baby's that I wanted to go in.
"Why you picking up boy clothes?" Angel asked while watching me look through onesies
"Cause we having a son" I said before she started laughing
"It's definitely gonna be a girl"
"It's gone be a boy" I said confidently, I'm already knowing, "We need to be figuring out everything as far as the baby"
"I know, I was thinking when your season is over"
"We can do it during the season" I said causing her to immediately shake her head 'no'
"You're not gonna be able to be with me because of basketball, so no. It's mandatory for you to be there"
"It's my kid of course I'm gone be there, but we can do it during the season. I'm just gone have to figure out how to alternate"
"Flau'jae I'm not finna be pregnant, and you hours away. It's no alternating, it's not happening" she sternly said while holding a serious look
"It's not gone make a difference, listen. We gon —"
"It's gone make a diff — just forget about the whole thing" she said before walking away from me causing me to breathe out patiently
