Sheriff Judy was pacing back and forth, trying to understand what all happened with the attack on Sam. Brianna realized how lucky she was. Only seconds after she left was when Sam apparently got the call from ghostface. If she had stayed any longer, maybe she could have gotten hurt again like last time. Or maybe she could have helped Sam and actually been able to catch ghostface.

"Or, and I'm just spit-balling here. You're the killer." Richie interrupted her thoughts from beside her, throwing an accusatory look at Amber's way. "And where were you when all this happened?" The sheriff interjected, furrowing her brows. "I was... watching Netflix."

Brianna zoned out with the rest of the conversation he and Amber were having, instead thinking back to an hour ago. When she had gotten back from the breakroom, Richie was nowhere to be found, and only returned a few minutes after Brianna, saying he had gone to the bathroom. At the time she didn't think much of it, but now thinking about it, he could have easily been the one to attack Sam. "And where were you?" The sheriff turned to Brianna, breaking her from her trance. "I came back here as soon as I left the breakroom." Judy opened her mouth, but it was as if Brianna knew what she was going to say, so she continued. "Tara was still sleeping, so no I guess I don't have a solid alibi either." Judy nodded, writing stuff down on her notepad. Brianna failed to see the accusatory look Sam shot her way.

Before Brianna could ask Judy to question more about Richies' so-called alibi, Sam interrupted. "You're gonna put more cops on her room, right?"

Judging by how the conversation was going between Sam and the sheriff, Brianna could conclude, they didn't get along very well. I mean, she knew Sam caused trouble back then, but she didn't know to what extent. It became more evident when Judy asked her to step outside with her to talk, only returning a few minutes later.

"You okay?" Tara asked her sister.

"Um... would you mind giving us a second?" She said. After what Brianna said not too long ago, it was best to get it out of the way and tell Tara everything she needed to know. She was tempted to let Brianna stay as well. If she was looking over Tara this whole time she was gone, she had the right to know. But after the attack? Sam couldn't be too sure she wasn't the one behind it.

They all left waiting outside of the door, Amber on the other hand, let them know she was going back home. Richie and Brianna stood by the door. They couldn't help but hear the conversation that was going on inside. After hearing Sam explain why she left, Brianna sighed in frustration, dragging a hand down her face. She knew the conversation was coming to an end when she heard Tara scream out to Sam, followed by the door opening. "Were you both listening at the door?" They both nodded, Brianna having an exasperated look on her face. "Before you say anything, no I don't care that Billy is your father. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go check on Tara." She reached for the door.

Sam furrowed her brows. "And where were you? I got the call from ghostface as soon as you left the breakroom." Brianna stopped, now faced with Sam blocking the door. "Are you accusing me of being ghostface?" Her eyes narrowed.

Sam all but blinked, not saying a word. Brianna could see it in her face though, the look of accusation. Brianna scoffed, rolling her eyes. "Look, if you're going to question anyone, maybe start with your boyfriend." Richie put his hands up, acting as if she didn't know what she was talking about, only irritating the girl more. "When I left, I went straight back here and he wasn't there."

Brianna knew if they continued this conversation, they would cause a scene. She walked past Sam, bumping her on the shoulder, to finally do what she said she was going to do, and check on Tara, not bothering to look behind her. Richie had to stop Sam from her shoulders, because he too didn't want a scene to ensue.

After much stalling, Brianna was infront of her dad's house. It was the day after, and as much as she didn't want him to know, it was best to tell him considering his history with ghostface. She knocked on the door. "Hey dad, it's me."

She saw Dewey peeking through the small window before letting her in. She inhaled, taking in the slight smell of vanilla that was produced by the candle. "Hey, Bri. It's nice to see you." He said, bringing her in a hug. Dewey noticed she hugged him tighter than usual. "Is something wrong?" He closed the door, letting her sit down on one of the sofas. She sighed before letting it out. "Ghostface is back." Dewey choked on his coffee. "What? And you know how?" He set his coffee down on the counter, making his way next to his daughter, already thinking the worst. "Did you get attacked? A call?"

Her eyes gleamed with adoration with how her dad cared for her a lot. I mean, of course he did. He's the one that actually wanted her.

Before he could bombard her with more questions, she interjected. "No, I didn't get attacked. At least not yet." Dewey sighed in relief.

"I just thought it'd be better to let you know."

"Yeah, of course." He stood up, taking his coffee in one hand and the remote in another, changing the channel. Brianna rolled her eyes as soon as she heard Gale's voice. "Really dad." Before she could protest any further, someone was knocking on the door. "Sorry to bother you, Mr. Riley!" Brianna looked at her dad, shaking her head no. Mouthing the words 'pretend you're not here'.  She knew that voice, and whatever she wanted to say, she was not going to involve her dad. "We just wanna ask a few questions."

Dewey ignored his daughter. "I don't do interviews."

"We're not looking for an interview."

As much as Brianna tried to get in the way of Dewey, he all but forced his way and approached the door. He exchanged a few more words with Tara's sister before opening the door. Brianna, behind Dewey, was able to see Sam explaining why she needed her dads help. She sighed and went to sit down on the couch.

"I'll give you two minutes. I'm missing a show I like." He made his way inside, grabbing his coffee and shutting down the television. "Gale weathers. Weren't you two, um..." Richie said, sitting down on the only available seat, next to Brianna. She rolled her eyes at his comment. "Jesus, does he always follow you everywhere you go." Sam turned her head giving the girl a pointed look, finding something she couldn't quite figure out on the girl's face. Thankfully, before she could remark, Dewey interrupted. Turning his attention to Richie, asking all sorts of questions. Brianna couldn't help but smirk at how Richie's face looked being the center of attention. "What the hell are you talking about?" He let out a nervous chuckle.

"There are certain rules to surviving a stab movie. Believe me, I know."

All heads turned to Brianna as she spoke. "Yeah, and the first rule is," She pointed a finger at Richie, "never trust the love interest." Dewey nodded, adjusting himself on the seat before he continued with Brianna's statement. "They seem sweet, caring, supportive. Then welcome to act 3, where they're trying to rip your head off." This caused Richie to let out scoff. "I was with Sam in Modesto when Tara was attacked."

"And let me guess, you were just in the other room, conveniently unaccounted for when she was attacked at the hospital." He said. "Thank you" Brianna clapped her hands together, before shooting an unreadable look to Sam. "Because she thinks I attacked her back at the hospital."

"Yeah, I got attacked as soon as you left the room. How convenient." She was about to stand up, trying to get in Briannas face. Hoping to break her little act and admit she's the killer. Unfortunately for her, Dewey spoke louder, trying to continue the rules, and luckily succeeding when he saw Sam let go of the arm rests, taking a deep breath.

Finally, after what felt like forever for Brianna. Dewey had enough of this. "Your time's up." He stood up, ushering them outside. Before he could slam the door, Sam spoke up. "Brianna, you need to come with us."

Brianna crossed her arms, scoffing. "For what? So you can keep an eye on me." Sam rolled her eyes, knowing she would react like this. "It's for Tara. We're meeting up with her friends right now to let them in on all of this. And I know you want to be there." Which was half the truth. Sam also wants to keep an eye on her, but she wasn't going to say that now, was she.

As much as Brianna tried to convince her dad to not get involved in this, he was not backing down. Saying all sorts of "if you're getting involved in this then so am I" and whatnot. Part of Brianna knew he wasn't going to back down, but it didn't hurt to try. I mean, it's her dad for christ sake. He's been through so much and the last thing she wants is for Dewey to get hurt again, or worse, to die. Saying Brianna is upset is an understatement.

Now, she was stuck here in the twins home, hearing Mindy going on and on about how the killer is making a "requel" or whatever, Brianna wasn't paying too much attention. Not with Sam breathing down her neck, demanding Brianna to sit with her as well, as to not lose sight of her. It was idiotic, Brianna thought. What she thought was more idiotic though, was how she followed her orders with no questions. She took a deep breath and exhaled. I'm doing this for Tara.

"I think it's pretty clear who is the killer." Mindy said. At that, Brianna was attentive to the conversation. This should be good. "Who?" Sam asked, curious to know who could possibly be the killer. "You."

"It makes perfect requel sense." Mindy added.

Brianna, looking around, couldn't help but notice everyone nodding, agreeing with the curly haired girl. She laughed. She actually let out the biggest laugh she has ever had in who knows how long. Sam looked at all the others in disbelief, before setting her eyes at the girl next to her, wanting to wipe that smirk out her face. She was fuming. "Fuck this." She said, before rushing to the door.
