"Next Mackenzie, you were in the group dance but I need you to bring the level of your dancing up I want you to be dancing at the level that Maddie was dancing when she was 7." Abby says, she has to stop comparing them because after that Kenzie will felt like she's not good enough
"Moving on up Chloe, I always want more from you I keep telling you that there's a thousands Chloe's out there." Abby says
"Next Maddie, not a lot to say about you, I just need more." Abby says
"Next Nia, what did you think about your solo routine ?"
"I thought I did pretty well." Nia says, Abby nods

"I was pleased I was excited to see her onstage and doing her best in a different type of dance I think you can still get those high energy performances without being stereotypical like musical theatre would be something of interest." Holly says, I clap at the speech making Brooke laugh

"This weekend we are going too Fire And Ice i'll tell you what there is going to be some talent only the best of the best is invited back to the elite competition.Chloe you will be doing a solo, Naïla you'll be doing a solo and Maddie you also will be doing a solo, everybody is going to be in the group dance you are going to be showgirls." The group dance is really weird, I don't know there is something off about it, which is disturbing.

Three days to competition

"I am hot, I am mean, you can't have me, you can't afford me." Abby says pretending like she has pink feathers. I like the feathers cause they're pink.
We go over the dance two times before getting dismissed for our solos.

"Chaine, Chaine, then tilt put a hand over your heart and take a step back." I nod and do so
"Aerial, and then fall, that's the ending." I do the dictated moves
"Come here." I go over her
"I don't the same hysteria as last time, you learn the solo, perform and win, over and over again, ok ?"
"Yes." I reply
"I except a lot for you, more than Maddie, Chloe or Brooke, I expect you to be a winner not a loser, got it ?" Abby says
"Yes, ma'am." I reply

I leave the room and go in class.

I get my solo costume on ;

I go backstage with Maddie and Chloe, I'm the first to go.

I go offstage.
"I did like 100 times better than last time." I think to myself
"You did great ! We have to do a amazing performance to catch on you." Maddie exclaims
"Yeah you did really good." Chloe adds
"Please welcome Chloe with The Raven."
She did really great !
"Good luck, love you !" I exclaim before she goes on
"Welcome to the stage Maddie with I'm already there."
She did good too.
We go back in the dressing room getting ready, we put on the group costume.
"This costume is horrible !" Mackenzie exclaims with a disgusted face
"It's not even horrible, it's outrageous !" I exclaim too
"What does that mean ?" She asks
"I don't even know." I say
We go backstage
"Do you think we'll win ?" Paige asks
"Never, in a million year." I reply
"But I hope we do to cause Abby will yell at us if we don't." I add
"Yeah." She agrees
"Welcome to the stage junior group, Fantastic."
It's horrible.
Solo and group awards
"Third place overall junior solo, The Raven."
"Second place overall junior solo, I'm Already There."
I hate that feeling when there's a lot of pressure on you because or you loose or you win it all.
"Top scoring solo of the entire competition, can I beg a big old drumroll for 2012 break the ice award, number 22, Naïla from the Abby Lee dance company."
I gasp, stand up and go next to the announcer.
"What's your name ?" The announcer asks
"Naïla." I reply shyly
"Can you remember us, the name of your studio ?" The announcer asks
"The Abby Lee dance company." I reply
"All right, take a bow." I take a bow and go sit down the girls jump on me
"Thanks guys, but I'm not breathing." I say
I few chuckles could be heard.
The group didn't place, sadly, I liked the feathers but I know we wouldn't win.
We go back to the dressing room, I run to my mom.
"I am so proud of you !" She beams
"Yeah I am proud of myself too." I say
"Naïla, congratulations, you won the entire competition with your solo, it was a great performance, great job kiddo." Abby says
"Thank you." I say
This week couldn't get any better !
