(Time skip and still Noah's POV, it will be for a while.)
Since Alejandro convinced the girls to do our work we kind of just sit there and watch.
"Well this is boring," I say, I look down to the ground. Since they didn't let us use our phones it was boring just watching them work. "Well then how about we have some fun" he pulled something out of his pocket, it was a deck of cards. "So you just carry around a deck of cards?" I said, genuinely concerned about this. "You never know when it comes in handy, here, pick a card" he shows me the deck of cards and waits for me to pick one. "Ok, I chose one" I look back up at him, waiting to see what he does. "Ok then," he starts to shuffle the cards, then pulls out a random card. "Is this your card?" It wasn't my card, and yet he was so confident it was. "No, it's not my card," I say in a grumpy tone. "Oh sorry," he reaches for my ear and pulls a card out of my hair, "is THIS your card" he says with a huge smirk on his face. It was actually my card, "damn, that was kinda cool". I smile at him but then immediately frown again and look away. he grabs my hand and opens it, putting the card into my hand. before I could ask him what this meant the bell rang, which meant that my next class was coming up, a class without him. "well ladies, and Noah, I guess I have to leave" Alejandro said before he stood up and left with his stuff. I looked into my hand only to find out the card he gave me had his number, alongside a message saying "call me <3". wow, he is corny
(ANOTHER TIME SKIP)
I was walking home, it was so pretty outside but kind of cold, too bad im wearing a T-shirt. I look at the card in my pocket. I sigh before I put the number into my phone, text hi, and then turn my phone off. I know it was stupid to text him. I mean, it's Alejandro, the world's most manipulative man. and yet everyone supports him just because he's super hot. I finally get to my house and open the door. my siblings are fighting and my parents are nowhere to be seen, great. I walk up towards my room and place my bag on the floor, taking out my phone and scrolling through TikTok. I didn't have any homework luckily. other than the project I was fine. I take a shower and then take a nap, my legs were tired from walking all day. after a few minutes of napping get waken up to the sound of my phone buzzing, I checked who texted me and there he was, Alejandro
"Hello Noah"
"why did you say hi like that :/ "
"Because I can <3"
"why did you give me your number"
"Because I wanna talk to you more x"
"tell the truth, be honest"
"that is the truth <3'
"ur such a dork -_-"
I don't know why but texting him made me feel all fuzzy, I know that he obviously wants something, but I don't know what. I slam my head into my pillow and try my best not to think about him.
