Eliza's POV-

"Finally we get to hang out like old time." Jenna sighed.

"Yeah, I finally have a break from my life." I replied. Today me and her were on a dayout together. We had lunch at a cafe then went to the movies, did some shopping and now we are at the nail salon getting our nails done and sipping on lattes.

"After this you should try on the dress we just bought along with the boots ." She said.

"Where? Both of our houses are miles away from here." I rolled my eyes.

The nail tech looked at me, "Our shop has a trial room. You can use it."

"Really?" I asked.

"Yeah, anyways I will be done with your nails in about five minutes. You can go and try on your clothes while your friend gets done with her nails." She suggested.

"Okay."

After getting my nails done I went to try on the dress. I did try it on while buying but not with the boots. It was a navy blue mid-thigh dress with gold buttons on it and to go with the color pallet my boots were caramel knee length. The whole look came together with my new earrings which were a gift from my husband and my freshly done nails.

I came out of the dressing room and Jenna was standing there in front.

"Woohoo! You look so hot right now, Liz, that your husband will faint just by looking at you." She hooted.

"Thank you." I blushed. Somehow even after being married for months I still blush when someone calls Vincent my husband.

My phone rang from my bag. Jenna took it out and said, "Ah! Speak of the devil. Aww, you saved his name as 'my husband'."

"Give me my phone." I snatched my phone.

"Hello," I answered it.

"Mommy! Come here fast. I am scared." Lily's frightened voice came from the other side.

My heart started beating faster, "What happened, baby?"

"Appa... he fell... he fell down and he is not waking up." She whimpered.

"What?" I felt a pit in my stomach. "Where are you right now?"

"We are in our backyard." She said.

"Okay, stay there. Tell Martha to call the ambulance, I'll be there." My words made Jenna serious.

"Mommy, come home quick. I am scared." Lily said in broken words and cut the call.

"What happened?" Jenna asked.

"I don't know but I have to get home quick. You are a doctor right, come with me." I pulled her out of the shop. The drive to my home was so stressful. Thousand scenarios went through my head and I prayed to god every moment that nothing had happened to Vincent.

When the car pulled up in the driveway I sprinted my way to the backyard. The lights of the driveway were my only source of light. As I ran I looked at the house and all the lights there were switched off.

Was anyone even home? Were they gone to the hospital already?

Even the patio was dark. I cautiously walked through it and opened the door to the backyard. Lily said they were in the backyard.

"Vincent! Lily! Martha!" I called out everyone. There was absolutely no response.

"Are guys even here?" I was about to turn around when some lights were turned on. The lights were hung from a tree and there were candles along the way.

I saw Vincent come from behind the tree and finally felt relieved that he was fine. But then it dawned upon me that this was another one of his surprise setups.

"Seriously this again?" I crossed my arms.

"I had to," He sheepishly said as he walked towards me. As always he looked devilishly handsome in his gray suit jacket with a black turtle neck and black trousers.

"Why?" I asked. "Can't you ever call me like a normal person?"

"Where is the fun in that?" He smiled.

"So, you think it is fun to give a near heart attack because my old as hell husband was 'unconscious'?" I raised my eyebrow.

"Well, your old-as-hell husband has a surprise for you." He took one of my hands and started walking us towards the tree.

"What are you apologizing for this time?" I asked.

"Maybe because I am trapping you with me for the rest of your life," Vincent said. We stopped in front of the tree.

"You have already done that." I waved my hand dismissively.

"And I am about to do it again." He took both of my hands in his. His fingers worked my wedding band out of my finger.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Mrs. Eliza Chae," He slowly went down on one knee and the flow of oxygen in my body stopped. "You have been the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. Our story has been running in reverse ever since it started. First we got married, then confessed our feelings and our first date was at the last.

I want a new beginning for us. One which is for real this time. Let's get married again and with everything you have ever dreamt of about your wedding. I want to tell the whole world to know you are my wife and I want to give you the wedding you dream of. So, will you marry me again, my love? Will you be dumb enough to yes to me again?"

He pulled out a ring box from his pocket and opened it to show the most beautiful ring I had ever seen in my life. It was a double ring with a diamond-encrusted on it.

My words got caught in my throat so I just nodded as the tears of happiness rolled down my cheeks.

"Yes, a thousand times yes." I finally managed to say. Vincent slipped the rings onto my ring finger.

He stood and kissed me like his life depended on it. Then hoisted me up in his arms and spun me around just like he did when I had confessed my feelings to him.

"I love you so much," He said to me as I laughed in his arms.

"I love you too," I replied.

Suddenly fireworks went off in the sky and they looked so beautiful. All my attention went to them. "Aren't they beautiful?" I asked in awe.

"Yeah, very beautiful," Vincent replied. I turned to look at him but his eyes hadn't left my face.

"I was talking about the fireworks." I slapped his chest.

"I was talking about my beautiful wife," He said.

"You are impossible." I shook my head.

"And you are stuck with me for the rest of our lives." He kissed me again.

"Alright, sorry to break you up love birds but it is time for some cake." Jenna's voice came out of nowhere. I looked at her as she wheeled in a small cake and behind her were my parents, my brother, my brothers-in-law, April, and our kids, in short, my whole family.

That night we had a small celebration at our house with a dinner with everyone and so much laughter. My life was truly complete and I had never been happier.
